I shared a POD container with my daughter (Dwayaa Williams) and (ex) son-in-law (James Williams) in July 2023. When he finished with the POD, I still needed the storage. James called PODS to have the account changed over to my name and for the rental fee to be withdrawn from my/my daughter’s shared account. It has been automatically withdrawn from this SECU account since July/August 2021 with NO missed payments.

On September 14, 2023, I called PODS to pay for delivery and set the date of September 30, 2023 for my container's to be delivered from GA to MD. I was then told that information was not changed over from my daughter’s ex-husband’s name to mine TWO YEARS PRIOR in July 2021 when he called to change it, but it was noted that he called to change it and it should have been. A little over a year ago my landlord hired pods storage during a lock out. We finally gained access to our belongings 4 months after the eviction. When we first arrived we couldn't even open the door it from the way it was packed up.

We opened the door and seen that 70% of our property had been either damaged or missing. Broken glass, mold covered about half of what we owned, also they bagged our trash from the apt and placed inside our bin.

Some bags were mixed with garbage and clothes. I have never seem anything like it in my life. It was as if our pod had been used as a dumpster instead of storage!!! I have all before and after pictures of the damages done and a list of the missing items from our apt.

You PODS truck was just north of I4 on I95 and the ropes to the PODS sig that is a heave tarp came off and it hit the front of mt Toyota 4Runner very hard. there does not seems to be any body damage, but I am no expert. There is significant marking and scrapes from the heavy tarp that I am holding you accountable for.

Please see the pictures attached.

Initial expectation for this traumatic event is a high-end detail of the entire care - pending any damages to the body or paint that cannot be corrected.

I look forward to you fast response and am glad it did no cause a bad accident - you can see the driver in one of the pics looking back at what happened.

When the POD I paid for was dropped off I was never asked to sign for my belongings. The driver just took off before I had a chance to run downstairs and meet up with him. He did not check to see if the POD door would open.

When I unlocked to POD the door was totally jammed and did not open. I had to wait until the next day for the POD company to come and tilt the POD and move all of my items with a truck.

So, my family that was planning to help move me was now unavailable. I had to rush and hire a moving company which set me back over $650. Thank goodness there was a moving company available. A few of my belongings were smashed.

After 1 month of emails with the POD Co. Customer Advocacy Resolution Dept. (worthless) they denied the claim per scheduling dispute?? Hello that is not why…

I do not appreciate the person representing your company in his commercial vehicle nearly colliding with my vehicle in order to by pass the traffic in correct lane to properly navigate around median at the round about at Veronica Shoemaker around 7:30am on 2/2/23, license plate number: P80 53G. I understand we are all in a rush to get to our destination in the morning but please be considerate and aware of other drives especially given they may have young children in their vehicle! Overall very displeased as the driver continued being reckless and carefree.

I have used NJ for a few years now. Recently I have had 2 times that I bought the replacement pods and only 1 out of the package works. I have even bought new devices thinking that is the issue and it is not.

At $12 a package it is adding up. I did think to save the last 2 cartons but will on this 3rd one I just bought. I currently have 2 that will not work. Suggestions on what can be done?

Kismet is a liar in the customer advocacy department. I called in to update my delivery and pick-up date, and they did not adhere, which caused my move to be complicated. He (Kismet ) said he listened to the call, which was a lie because he provided the wrong rep's name and date of the call.

POD is the WORST moving company, and I will NEVER use them again.

Pods charged us thousands of dollars fraudulently. They delivered our Pod to the wrong address and then took over a month to deliver the correct pod to our house. We had to buy all new belongings to tide us over for the month and they still have not returned our money.

In fact, they charged us fraudulently to re deliver the correct pod, essentially charging us for their error. I've called repeatedly and emailed repeatedly and still no refund has been initiated. Account 162507910 and 162134333.

My son signed p&s in july called pods about their unit he already had in MA and that it needed to go to NH 9/1. He calls 8/30 reminding them and they say check our website 8/31 at 6pm. He does. No delivery info.

9/1 8 am he calls and is told there’s no delivery to him 9/1. After a total of close to 4 hours between conversations and being on hold with pods a manager admits someone booked it wrong as a local delivery. New date 9/13.

No clothes no furniture in the house for he & wife.

PODs is unreliable , untrustworthy and unreasonable. In PODS middle California My sister recently widowed, moving from Nevada to Mid California. They have royally jacked her around! She recently lost her husband , then both her dogs passed in her small RV as she made her way to California.

She's an attorney, still practicing and she is 81. Because she lost her phone charger during the trip, lost her beloved dogs she was at a place where she could neither respond to emails or calls. Because it took her days longer because of the traumatic circumstances , because of a snowstorm in the Donner pass area she had to take a longer route.

She specifically and clearly asked if they needed anything else, when she paid for 3 pods, until she could find a home in California. They clearly stated no!…

I was just on chat with someone else, and they stopped talking ... just froze ... no more chat. I have an account with PODS, monthly payments on my credit card. The last few months I got a late notice in my email saying my credit card was not accepted.

This is the same card I have used for a few years, online and in person, with no problems. I spoke to someone the first time this happened and they assured me this would not happen again. I spoke to someone today who was going to transfer me to the "collections department" to get this sorted out.

I was then cut off. I've tried again to call, but just wait and wait and wait. Could you please get this sorted out, or have someone call me who can. Please, please make a few of many badly needed changes to your customer support system.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Horrible customer service. My POD is over a week late in deliver to final designation. I have called multiple times and been flat out lied to by customer service agents in the Philippines and at the Clearwater location.

No one has been able to give an accurate accounting of the delivery date of my belongings. Will never use this service again and I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

I have had a pod in storage for our company for a few months now. On June 30th, I booked it to be delivered on July 6th. I called to give a contact phone number and they changed the deliver on me to July 14th. I just received a call that they cannot deliver it until July 23rd.

We have a class starting on July 18th with 30 students who have booked their flights and taken off a week of work. When I asked to speak tot he supervisor, he put me on hold for 15 minutes and told me Tonya Franklin was not available and "hopefully" she would call me later today. I asked for her supervisor, Christine Taro. I was told Tonya would be the one to call me.

Customer Service communication is quite poor. The containers are dirty and in poor condition. Be very careful with these people. I decided to try PODS because I needed to store most of my household goods for approximately 1 yr. The customer service rep at the 800 number was quite pleasant.

However, once you decide to use them and they obtain your credit card information, then the disasters start: 1. I was sent a dirty container-->motor oil on the wooden floor, spider webs throughout and dust on the floor. Complained to PODs customer service, was told that I would get a refund for the situation but instead, I was kept on the phone for about 1 hr and 45 minutes which I was informed was notifying the local site and verifying the refund. NO REFUND Happened.

Got pod delivered on 5/31/22 had it loaded ready to move 6/2/22. Called to have it moved and told at length 6/21 was earliest appointment. I asked for help. Need it moved out of my drive because I am ready to list my home for sale.

Told only option was to ask for first available for Monday 6/6. Which I assume has failed. Bottom line is I need it moved. I have called and asked for help every way I can think of. Need this done ASAP.

Worst customer service EVER! then i was told by another rep that no one ever applied the date to my acct. And I still needed to pay fee in full. So I paid in Full, was transferred to a SUPERVISOR ,who also then failed to schedule my transit & left me on hold for 30 mins, never returning.

Now after 3 hrs of all this, I am learning Nothing has been done, and nothing was EVER scheduled.

Also there is no complaint dept or Supervisor you can speak with and the system fails in showing whom you spoke with or that you even called. Horrible company!

Never in my life have I had such a bad experience with PODS and customer service in general. In March I had the below taken out of my account: 3/8 - 200.44 (normal monthly rent) 3/8 - 43.26 3/8 - refund 191.53 3/15 - 208.26

Not only was I overcharged but it took over 3 weeks to get a response on my claim and now 10 days for a refund. Also, On 3/15/22 I had called to get a quote on long distance shipping for my pod. My mother is in the process of moving right now. She is 80 and thought that using Pods would make the move easier. After requesting a $2000 deposit she got the contract, not all of the items for her home were listed.

Called and added what needed to be added (she is moving the contents of a 3 bedroom house and garage). They then said that she needed another $2000 for a larger unit ( since they didn't include a 3 bedroom house in the quote) FINE.

The POD was scheduled for delivery on 4/6/22 at 8am. At 3pm the rep called to say they wouldn't make it until 4/7/22. Today the people who showed up wanted yet another $2000, the men were speaking Spanish back and forth to each other before deciding that they needed more money.... HELL NO!!!!

Their system of contracting and then arranging for the actual return of goods is atrocious, and costs customers money as they provide dates to drop off goods after a move, and then they do not even move the goods from the original pickup spot, and what is worse they do not tell you.

Getting a customer service person on the line or by chat has variously taken between 35 to 50 min on the phone, and being told you are the 38th person on a chat line that suddenly goes dark after you have waited your turn. The final straw was talking to a customer service rep who promised that they would finally pick up my goods in CA and transport them to SC where I just retired, for delivery on a certain date.

Not 24 hours go by when I get a message from someone who now indicates that the customer service…

Terrible experience. Pods was supposed to do a pickup Friday. Due to a computer system update they never showed up. But charged my account. Called sectioned on hold for hours and all I get is I’m sorry wait for an email.

Local Pods delivered on time and had excellent communication. Unfortunately the Pod they delivered was defective and had a slit in the roof. Leak was not discovered until it rained one night and half my stuff was already loaded. The local manager was very apologetic for the mistake of delivering a pod that was not inspected prior to delivery and promptly delivered a new pod. There the nightmare begins.

I was assigned a Customer resolution Specialist who has been anything but helpful or responsive. My claim has been ongoing and ignored since August 2021. If you are assigned Kismet Altiok as your "Specialist" from Pod, know your issue will be unresolved.

Company delivered pods without rented blankets. " We are moving tomorrow. In addition, we requested both pods be picked up the same day, but they only scheduled one and now the other is after we close on our house. Customer service refuses to let us speak to a supervisor and we are left with a major issue with no time to solve it.

We absolutely do not recommend this company and are floored by the TERRIBLE customer service. I can't believe I am about to give them all of my belongings when they can't even schedule drop off correctly.

Have been on the phone for 2 days trying to get my Pods delivered to our new home . Apparently they do not service the area I moved to ????? On the home page it says they do but!!!!!! postal code is not a valid area . Ummm what !!!!!!!!!! no where !!!!!!!

Said my pod would be picked on Wednesday. They never called and told me why it wasn't. I reached out to them and they would not give me a reason as to why it was picked up. Only guaranteed that it would he picked up today 7/29.

It has not been picked up and no one can give me a reason why and worst of all no one can tell me when it will be picked up. To top if all off on pods end it shows picked up but it is still sitting in front of my old apartment with the leasing office threatening to tow it.

We have had PODS in storage in Baton Rouge LA for over 6 months now. We are ready to have them shipped to our new address in GA. We scheduled for the 2 PODS to be shipped from the BR warehouse to the warehouse near us in GA on 6/15.

We were immediately charged $4000 for this. It is now more than 2 weeks later, our PODS are not here, and after at least a dozen phone calls, no one can seem to tell us just where they are. We were told numerous times they would be here on certain dates, and they never arrived.

We keep getting told our only option is to have the customer service person EMAIL logistics and wait to see if they respond with a location. Really?? NO ONE in the company has the ability to track them down, or tell us what has happened? Are the lost? Stolen??

Was told my POD could be delivered to our moving location on a specific date if I gave them a weeks notice. I called 8 days before we needed the POD and they said it would be at least 6 weeks before I could have it delivered. We had to rent a Uhaul and spend WAY more money and it was WAY more work going through PODS and I want a partial refund

Service technician has not shown up at the scheduled time to resolve a problem. I am not able to get an updated ETA through the call center and I am paying a moving crew to stand by and do nothing. Worst of all I can't get moved into my home!

I have a 3 page complaint written out, but I will nutshell it. We had our belongings stored with PODS for six months. We had two 16’ containers. The first container was delivered 10/21/2020. No problems, went well, they picked it back up a few days later when we were ready.

The second container was delivered 10/31/2020. When we scheduled the pickup for that one, we were given a 3 hour window 11:45 - 2:45. The guy came around 9:30 or so and just loaded it up. When we saw him we were like, wait we were going to put a couple more things in.

The driver was like, Sorry it’s already lifted. So we felt like, dang that was Not the window we were given. But we just let that go. Well the huge problem was when we wanted our containers delivered to our new house.

The customer service at PODS is absolutely horrific. PODS damaged my property as they pulled their storage unit off our driveway and the customer service rep has completely ghosted me. It has been super frustrating working with PODS and I highly recommend you work with anybody else but PODS.

As I was pulling out of a pride gas station one of your drivers comes barreling around the core er doing AT LEAST 50 in a 35mph zone. The driver was in the right lane so I sped up to get in the left lane to avoid being rear ended by them, at which point the sped up faster, the two lanes were merging into one and

We ordered a 16 foot Pod to be delivered at 11532 Bedrock Dr, Nevada City, Ca. delivered from Sacramento. Our service for delivery was very satisfactory. Your TV advertisement said the Pod can be delivered where you are moving to. We are moving to Somerset, Kentucky, and we were told they can only take the Pod to Lexington, Kentucky, and can not deliver to 4850 Piney Grove Rd, Somerset, Kentucky. My husband Steve called Pod and told him they do not drive there. I would appreciated it if something can be done about this.. I am a customer trying to get my pods, there was a miss communication on 11/29/2019 with one of your representatives. I was assured that my pods would be secure until I call back on 12/1/2]19. I had no idea he could not make those decisions.

In early September, I was promoted at my work, and needed to move from Cleveland Ohio to Columbus Ohio. Obviously, PODS has a good reputation, therefore, I decided to use them. I originally ordered a 16' but realized that a 12' was better for my needs. I was never informed when making the change, that they do not ship 12' containers. I had already mentioned that I was moving 2 hours south. That issue was resolved. However, 2 MAJOR issues surfaced recently. I asked at the beginning what the cost would be to deliver the POD to Columbus. I was told no more then $650. I additionally asked what lead time you needed to make that delivery, and was told 4 days.

Wish I could give 0 starts. Called pods today and spoke to a rep named Denise. Never have we ever dealt with someone in customer service that was as unprofessional and unethical as this woman. After a half hour we demanded to speak to a supervisor, which she refused every time we asked.

She also refused to give us her name until we demanded multiple times. She also implied numerous times that we were stupid, even started speaking slowly, repeating herself and spelling words for us as if we were children. We are moving and the pod pickup date is the date after our closing.

Denise told us she didn't care what we did with the pod and this wasn't her problem. She was the most ignorant rep I have ever dealt with at any company. This type of treatment is unacceptable. If this is how PODS…

Why do you not send out bills for monthly storage? I just happened to think that I should have gotten a bill for the next month of storage so I logged in and sure enough it is due in 2 days.

I check accounts and see receipts/bills for past deliveries and pick ups but no new bill for the next month!?! How can that be? So I call, and the girl says the bill doesn’t generate until the day it is due! What?!?!??

Seems like poor business practice not to send a bill or email reminding someone to pay.

I called and spoke with John on July 10th, I ordered a 12 foot POD to be delivered on July 11th between 1-4 pm. 33. 33 was taken out three times. 33 only. I called and spoke with Valentine which was VERY RUDE, wouldn’t let me speak with a supervisor, put me on hold for more than 15-minutes.

I kept trying to give him the fax number. He gave me #1743743. I called back July 12th gave info for supervisor to call me back. No call, I called spoke with Michelle said she was a supervisor, and she hung up on me, I called back and was closed for the day/weekend.

I called pods because we were selling our present house in Woodinville, Wa. 98077. I ordered one pod with a second one in reserve. Read and signed the contract. I told the representative that we were moving and at the present we did not have another, so we would keep the pods on our property until we found a house or we would store them if needed.That was fine. the first pod was delivered on 4/28/2019. we then needed the second pod and everyone was very nice about changing the date. I filled out an online quote form, presumably from Pods Toronto location. Got an email to call with a quote #. Called. Initially got a fax signal. Called another #. When I finally got through, I was told it was a US #. Got shuffled around from agent to agent, even though I told them I was calling from Canada and don't have US phone coverage and I've been charged for so-called toll-free #s before. The final agent, a woman I don't know or remember the name of, wanted all this information, even though I gave her the quote # PODS had given me in the email they sent. To make matters worse, she was not pleasant. I was so frustrated I hung the phone up on her. Enough to give me a horrendous opinion of PODS.

My delivery was scheduled for April 2, 2019. The location I had asked for it to be placed was a much easier and with more clearance than where it was brought to me to load. The road or the load had several power cables much lower than the one at delivery location.

Load site was a dirt driveway and nothing about the load site was better than delivery site. The driver called on April 2nd. I had an appointment I couldn't miss so I wasn't there and had clarified that with dispatch when scheduling.

There were a lot of problem from the point of placing my order until now and it keeps getting worse. Because of that I got to the point where PODS mistakes were costings me far too much, not to mention the cost of the unit to begin with.
