The price chopper in Cooperstown, ny is the worst store to shop at, the front end supervisors are very rude to staff and customers,they goof off take breaks together ,1 of the supervisors Brenda stegan is dating the night staff.she has only been there a month and was made supervisor ,she is not very smart at all

Had a package of PC frozen spinach I bought several weeks ago. Went to use it for company the other night. When I opened it, there was a little wall of ice and the box had green stains all over.

It appeared that it had been defrosted and refrozen. Since that’s a “no-no”, I chose to throw it out rather than risk giving my guests food poisoning, I have sometimes wondered if food isn’t left standing around before it is properly refrigerated.

Such a disappointment and troublesome given the rising food prices. Do I dare try to buy more spinach there?

I used to shop at the watervliet price chopper,but don't no more the have to many bare holes on there shelf's and this store has been this way for a while I'm not understanding why and how can you run a sore if you don't have the product I go to a different store and shelf's always full someone needs to check out why the shelves are bare or cycle counts are not being done

I have been using Webster mass price chopper bakery to order birthday goods since I’ve been a mother for 8 years now. My daughters 6th birthday is today. The last two years both of my kids birthday orders for the months of November and February were either wrong or not made at all and all my order except for this recent order were made up to 3 weeks in advance.

This order I made 24 hours in advance, no where in their bakery does is state any type of time frame they need to be given when making a cake order. So I called the day before and specifically stated if it’s too short of notice please let me know now and I’ll go elsewhere.

I was shopping at ur store on Madison Ave Albany ny. One of your employees was pushing cart and almost hit me. I told him he needs to relax. He goes off tells manager I cursed him out. Assistant manager comes to me.

Tells me the guy is a nice guy. I’m in the wrong. I asked him to look at camera. He cant. He gets manager comes. And tells me I’m very hostile. Wen I’m trying to explain This was really nerve annoying.

Went to price chopper Oneonta ny at 6pm tonight to do some shopping. Wanted to get some fresh red meat but it was all getting covered up and put away. Went to the hot food section to buy a cooked chicken and a couple of hot meals. All put away. No one making pizzas.

This is 6pm people, dinner time. Others in the area were also frustrated. Talked to a manager and she said sorry, we don’t have enough help. Really? This is price chopper. very disappointed.

They take the phone off the hook because it’s ringing too much. They don’t know what’s wrong with the automated refill system. And they are very slow to accommodate you.

I was at Price Chopper last week trying to purchase a container of strawberries and every container had mold on the majority of strawberries. I have never left a bad review on anything in my life but this horrible to be selling strawberries that are covered in mold to people.

How could you want to sell a product with mold to your customers? Tonight I had went back to the same store for a tub of ice cream. I was so disappointed when I got home the entire thing was freezer burned.

How can you keep products on your selves that are covered in mold or freezer burn? This isn't right to do to your customers that spend money on your products.

Earlier today I sent my adult daughter w her younger Special Needs brother to do our weekly shopping @ the Norwich Price Chopper on Rte 12. She stopped @ the Deli counter & asked to have some sandwiches made. The young man who had been standing behind the counter appearing to wait for them was Hostile & Rude in the Extreme in his response to her request.

My daughter has subsequently learned, after speaking w the Deli Manager, that the Deli does not take requests for sandwiches. My daughter responded to the Deli Manager that the person who spoke to her should have just politely told her that rather than being Abusive.

Went to New Hartford NY store last night. 12/23/2021 10:45pm purchased a visa gift card for 300 dollars. When the clerk cashed me out it said card could not be activated but yet it charged my debit card the 306 dollars.

She said there was no manager to help or void it out to call the visa 800 number. I did and they said bring it back to the store . Which is 25 miles away. How can you allow a store to be open without a manager.

At the self check line if you have more food than you do food stamps you have to have an attendant come over and ring your purchase through her terminal. I scanned my card four times and went through this whole process and she came over and then I scanned it again and waited and waited and she came over and finally after the fifth time, 15 minutes later, she remembered that she needed to manage the food stamps.

How humiliating and stressful to even have to have an attendant involved while everyone watches. Like it's not embarrassing enough to hit hard times!

my name is Kevin Hil and i frequent the Price Chopper located in Shrewsbury ma, I am extremly upset with how long i had to wait at the meat counter, i waited 10 min, which is rediculous to begin with, then i go down to deli and ask for them to call someone to meat counter, again i wait and wait and wait, until ive exauted all the patience i have left and

I use Price Chopper Pharmacy for all of my prescriptions each month. Most of the employees are kind and helpful, except for one. Now I understand that people have bad days sometimes, I have them myself, and I don't go around reporting everyone for having a bad day, but this issue is far from that.

Jill at Price Chopper Pharmacy in Norwich, New York has been repeatedly rude and unhelpful to me, singling me out due to the medication that I am on. I don't take this medication for the typical reasons of substance abuse that people think of when they see this medication, but regardless, even if I was, that does not give anyone a right to single someone out and continuously be rude and unhelpful because of it.

People working in ANY of your pharmacies should be mandated to be vaccinated for COVID. Why would you allow an employee handling drugs for elderly, ill or sensitive people without a vaccination???

I learned today at the Glenmont pharmacy that one of my favorite people (who handles all of the prescriptions and other meds has not been vaccinated. I was very upset by this as she had just used a pen which she handed to me and stood there talking with me for 10 minutes, albeit with a mask, but in this sensitive area, I do NOT think a mask is enough. Do you?

i have never written a review for any thing!!! i just am totally discussed with the meat at my price chopper i have been shopping at this store for over 7 years and it just keeps going down hill i have had to throw out meat in my last to shopping trips....

it looks pink on outside and all grey inside... chicken thighs on sale yuck unless you cook right away doesn't seem to last even close to SELL BY DATE i understand things are not like they were a few years ago but there is no need to sell bad meat

The rude pass off from department to department when trying to pick up my catering order that was place 4 days prior was appalling. The Stromboli and sub employees we awful to me. My order was no complete nor did anyone want to look throughly for my whole order.

The only nice one was Jill in the cheese department was the only kind soul who apologized for not having her portion done because she never received the order. I NEVER order catering from market 32 again.

99, $1 off the regular price. Supposedly, making the selection on line gives a credit for the item thru the store card . When I got home I checked the register tape and found the sale price had not been credited.

This is the second time I have experienced this, only this time I did not discover that I had not been credited until I got home. The amount is not great; in each case it was only $1, but to me it seems little more than a scam.

My confidence in Price Chopper has plummeted. If they are going to treat me this way, then I might start shopping at a different grocery store. The other store may not have coupons, but it seems that Price Chopper also does not.

The wing bar is back and I was very excited about that - but the wings are either totally unlabeled or obviously inaccurate every time I go to this store. When I went yesterday, some were labeled "garlic parmesan" but were clearly actually barbecue or regular wings.

I have only actually purchase wings once since the bar reopened, because it is obvious I can't be sure what I've got. I would REALLY live to get some wings one night, but I need to know what I'm buying.

(My favorites are duck sauce wings, garlic parmesan, or barbecue. Sadly I do not like hot wings and last time the hog wings said they were chipotle barbecue? So I didn't buy them? But maybe they've always been chipotle and they weren't too hot so I didn't notice? Unclear )

I went into the Wyoming Pa Store had a problem with self check out. The young Girl Raleigh ignored me when I went to confront her about my issue and she continued to grab with fellow employees. While I could not get ahold of store manager she was no where to be found.

I left items in the bag and walked off . The machine did not let me complete the transaction .

Just recently went shopping there and if course as everyone is complaining about the prices, and understand about some of the reasons shipping etc, but there is plenty of beef and rancher's all say the same. 00 a pound, absolutely ridiculous. 99 a pound.

I shopped at Manchester Price Chopper at April 9th and when I went into my fridge to get cheese and Orange juice in a container. I notice that all the cheese had mold on it and the juice build up pressure.

I open the juice and it spilled all over and smelled. So I looked at the fruit and Veggies I purchased they too went bad in matter of 3 days. I'm very disappointed because the store customer service during the "stay at home" are very rude and on top of it all the food quality is diminishing.

It's hard enough during this COVID-19 pandemic that when getting grocery we have to be treated like savages and are given the lowest quality food from these grocery store during these times, shame on you.

Went to shop during senior hour 6 am, on Friday, yesterday central ave store Colonie. Shelves were empty, no soups of any kind no paper products, no fresh baked goods , I was told still 45 minutes away from fresh baked bread.

So apparently it’s ok for seniors to come in and shop leftovers from the night before whole store is preparing for the 7am crowd. Thanks, had to go to another store to get fresh bread and soups tuna ..

49. The Covid-19 driven policy of no refund/no return was cited when I tried to take back the package which had puffed up in my refrigerator when I retrieved it for dinner. I had bought 2, and only one was obviously bad.

An obvious return of funds was in order, but now Price Chopper is entranced in my mind as a company that won't stand by their product, and indeed sells bad meat. I understand the need for caution, but they just lost a customer.

I when to price chopper in Hamilton NY. I when to the self checkout. Susan was wonderful. When I went home I looked on my bank statement. I showed I was charged twice. So I decided to go back that day so she would remember me.

because I was trying to move money from my savings to my checking and it was popping up with a partial payment. So Susan takes me to customer service. And unfortunately there is where I was very unhappy. Brenda seemed like she was unhappy to help me or take care of me.

My husband and I went food shopping on Sunday 10/27 and purchased baby back ribs. The tag with the price and best buy date said use or freeze by 11/05/19. When I went to cook them Monday, they smelled horrible and the meat was slimy and discolored.

This was not apparent when we purchased since they are tightly air wrapped, and labeled, making it hard to see the meats appearance. I brought my receipt and the ribs back to the customer service counter to get a refund.

I noticed on the back of the package, a sticker stated use or freeze by 10/05/19. I want you to know, the woman at the customer service was not friendly at all, and she never apologized. I thought that was extremely unprofessional.

It was a great inconvenience for me to find out while making dinner after a long day of work…

I am so upset I work for Stewart’s in warrensburg I needed ideas for breakfast for tomorrow but I didn’t get out of work til 1 am I looked on the website and I remember the price chopper in warrensburg has a 24 hour sign on the building and the internet also says it’s open 24 hours.

Went there after work and it’s closed. You have a little sign by the bank saying seasonal.. so what is the deal?? Because we live here we can’t get service 24 hours a day only when the tourist are here?? I don’t understand.

Why is there a 24 hour sign on the outside of the building if it isn’t open all the time???

Once again I feel the need to contact you to complain about how many mart carts are available at the Wilton market 32 I've Been a regular shopper theteforabout 20 years once again the demand for mart carts has out weighed the supplycurrentlythete are 3 mart carts at the store some are very old. 2 were the newer ones with the sensor that prevents you moving if something is ahead of you please don't buy any more of those District supervisor Eric. up with the demand.

Today I waited for 45 minutes tonoavail. I m sorry but I then left went to Wal-Mart and had smart cart. I spend 94 dollars that would have been spent in the market 32 store please assured that you will be add more mart carts to the Wilton store. Thank you.

I purchase a package of your 16 count round top vanilla cones and they were delicious and perfect in every way. I enjoyed them so much I went back to the store and purchased two more boxes. I am just finishing up the first of my second purchase and everything was fine until I got to the bottom row.

The entire bottom row of this box is crushed and I have to use a bowl to eat them as they fall apart and melt before I can finish them, The bae code # of this box is 41735 09005 with a best by date of Apr 09 20 and a code of 362677 00:16 FR/LG.

The next box appears to be fine I opened it from the bottom and the cones feel like they are not crushed. I do not understand how one box is damaged and other's are not. The code on the second box is 362677 21:16 FR/LG.

Most recently after making a purchase at one of you stores, i noticed my fuel advantedge points did not roll over to account for the purchase, but instead i got 9 points for advantage, whatever this is. I have received no information about you changing you program, so i call customer service only to find that this was a new program and basically ii will get 5 cents off a gallon instead of the 10 which i now receive.

70 would not be rolled over to my account. All i can say is you people who own this corporation are nothing but a bunch of thieves. You did not inform us the consumers of this program change, not the fact that we would be earning less for our purchases and we would lose what we had built up.

I wanted to know why I am not receiving my Price chopper flyer in the mail. It is now 2 weeks and have not received the flyer. As you know only the flyers that come to your mailbox have the extra coupons on them because the flyers in the store do not.

I do not buy the local newspaper anymore due to various reasons so how am I supposed to get the flyer if you don't send it. I received the usual flyers in the mail but price chopper was missing both weeks.

If you would have the coupons on the flyer in the store there would not be an issue but you don't. Is this a tactic you are doing to keep some people from getting the discount with the coupons? Because if it is I can go and shop at Shop Rite and Stop and Shop because they have coupons too and I always get their flyers.

I love the price chopper store, and I am very pleased with the great sales and variety of products, as well as your staff,however I do have an issue, and I can't figure out why it is happening. I spend between $200 and $300 each week at my local price chopper.

I just purchased roses at the Price chopper in Malta. The pickings were scarce but it is my anniversary. 99. When I got home and put them in a vase half of the greenery fell off dead. Maybe they should pull what’s left in the display.

I was at the store on May 4 , 2019 around 3:30 pm, at the Deli Dept. The workers never said , I will be with you in a few moments. They acted as if we were not present.

Finally a woman , older ( reddish hair with a bang ) waited on us. She was very rude towards us and appeared to frown at us!. She was unwelcoming and rude!!!! MY husband and I would rather travel further, than to spend our money here.

This has happened more than once at this store.
