Filed a claim for my car and barely could get into contact with the people in charge. The entire process of my car getting looked at and estimated took a few months to get through when it could have only taken a week.

In the words of the progressive worker, they were “sitting on the approval” and even the workers at the body shop said they were being suspicious about everything and dragging the entire process out. Nobody could give me a clear answer on what’s going on with my car and they told the body shop to order all these parts then told me they were totaling my car but said nothing to the auto shop.

They lack in communication and professionalism. I am thoroughly disappointed in progressive

Following an accident my truck was towed over 200 miles away for a mandatory valuation to determine if it was a total loss. The next day, I was contacted and told that claim was closed because it was opened by mistake.

Now that the claim is closed Progressive refuses to cover the cost of returning my truck and told me to have it towed. They showed zero care or concern for the situation and no intention of making things right. Disgusting and disrespectful customer service by their claims department.

I have claim# 23-9341770. For two weeks, Progressive has scheduled several days and times to come out and look at the car. Everytime they never show up and never call to say they wasn't going to make it. I just sit around waiting and waiting.

I have tried calling Stephanie @ 912-628-860 and leaving messages but, I never get a response back. I am currently at this moment waiting again. Willing to bet I'm waiting and wasting my time for nothing!! I now know Progressive does not value its customers.

Hi, I filed claim with Progressive. My water heater had to be replaced and I have floor damage in kitchen area if rv. Claim was denied. The floor is cracking and is very dangerous because we r tripping over it.

I am 73 and my sister is 78. He confirmed water heater needed to be replaced. I immediately Ordered water heater. It took a week to get here and two or three days to get installed. To my knowledge we had no water leak until water heater died.

We had to pay lot to have water heater replace , it is our Responsibility.

However I think Progressive should play claim to repair floor. We pay our insurance and we did nothing wrong. I am checking avenues as to what I can do if one of us falls. Sharon has already fallen once because of floor.

The customer service agent, shakida was so incredibly rude and short with us on the phone when we were asking questions about snapshot and how it works because our rate never decreased. She continued advising us to have read our policy so we could have understood how snapshot worked (what’s her job if she can’t help explain?) we asked direct questions that she truly could not answer and she became angry and put us on hold and did not come back. We are beyond disappointed and won’t be continuing with progressive for these reasons.

Someone that I don’t know was added to my insurance policy without me knowing or agreeing to it. I called and they wanted me to submit paperwork when it was not my mistake this person was added. This should be against the law to just add people to your insurance without your knowledge.

Then she made me add my son who is 16 to my policy he has no car no license and may not have one until he’s 18 and will have his own insurance making my payments go up even more. I’m being charged 180 a month when it was 130 a month because I had automatic payments for just liability on a car that’s over ten years old so now it will be over 200 a month I’m 50yrs old I have no violations and a good driving record.

This needs to be resolved. I need my son off my policy and a better rate.

I was added to an email from Mike Castillo from Shannon Fitting from WSDOT. I simply asked Mike to fill out a template and he replied back in all capital letters which I thought was rude. So i simply responded back to him in the same manner.

He then went and had his supervisor send a complaint to my supervisor which now i am with HR and getting a permanent letter in my file. I would like to simply complain about how he responded to me as well.

His tone in all caps and the way he responded was also un professional and i don't think he should be allowed to talk to people like he did.

My husband passed away a few weeks ago. Progressive is telling me that the vehicle that my husband passed away in is not a total loss. It's not drivable and it's a biohazard because he sat in it for 6 days and completely decomposed.

My insurance adjuster Kimberly Hauck was not kind and told me that it wasn't covered under comprehensive and that I would figure it out. I'm very upset at the fact that she didn't care or even help me in any way.

Progressive paid a body shop to do work on my truck, the guy never did the work and I had to take my truck from him 5 months later. Had to take it to another body shop and had to pay 4,000 dollars out of pocket..

Progressive just let the guy scam them and I had to pay for it,which I think is totally messed up. they are telling me I need to sue the body shop, but a lawyer told me I can't sue him because I didn't give him the money...

My daughter was in a car accident on 4/29/23 with head trauma. We submitted a claim on 5/1/23. Three adjusters are using unethical tactics to delay the settlement. I’ve been patient but would like to have a resolution soon. Kristine Clark, Alicia Roman, and Sara Reese all have used these stall tactics.

For respect for authority I’m going through the chain of command until I’m fairly compensated. Though I’d rather not file complaints with DIFS and BBB I will use those options before litigation. Thank you.

File a vehicle accident claim with a contact bu email not call. I did this because i work 7 days a week 12 hr shifts and take care of 2 disabled children by myself when i get off work. The agent on my claim has called repeatedly and is off work before i get off.

When got off early to call him i didn't get an answer. I left a voice mail for him to email me. Then i called my supervisor to get my next days work instructions and explain my reason for leaving early.

Jr Perez called me back while i was on the phone with my supervisor. I sent it to voice-mail. He called right back. Again i sent to voice-mail. He called 3 times in a minutes time. He left a voice-mail about going on vacation and would email me when he got back in the office.

I filed a claim on the early morning of 8/10/23. At 12:35 pm I was sent a text thread with my representative’s name & contact information & told I would be contacted early the next business day. The car accident happened on Saturday 6/24/023. We called claim department immediately. We call Monday 6/26/2023 and was told to call the Collison shop around and take whoever has first availability. Amy has never mentioned that make sure the shop take Progressive insurance.

On August 10, 2023 I made a claim on my vehicle for an accident on July 20, 2023. I was contacted by my supposed representative within a couple of hours at 12:36 PM on that Thursday, August 10. I was told that I would get a call from the representative by the next business day; This was by text. The message was not worded correctly so it was misunderstood when I would be contacted. Your underwriting team added someone to my policy without verification from me. I called with questions and concerns about how this took place without authorization from me. This person has been on my policy since May of this year to currently.

My complaint is with is with claim adjustor and his boss. My insurance is with progressive. My son used my car and was in an accident. The accident was not his fault. The at fault insurance company --the hartford has been wonderful. All I have asked is for progressive to ok the 2500 pip coverage. I submitted a claim for my car. I also had 30 day car rental included with my insurance. I was assigned to a person named Tanisha Hargrove. She had the worst attitude from the very beginning. Tanisha informed only thing they would pay for is fender.

The 30 day rental was cut short to 21 days. Today I received email stating they are not paying for the fender and I owe them $568 unbelievable. I got a lawyer and I am suing. How do I owe you????

Progressive will not let me get an estimate from a local company for a repair. They want to send out their own independent agent from a company called Best. It has been three week and I have not been contacted by their independent agent.

In the meantime I there have been several cars in my neighborhood damaged by hail. All of their cars have already been fixed. I wish I can give them negative star. I filed a claim on 6/8/2023 due to a two major cracks on top of my car near the windshield. This is caused by non-human factors and I've already purchased the comprehensive insurance part before. However, they did not start to investigate until a week later. Then the funny things came. A credit was due three years ago when one of several vehicles was removed from my policy. Although a check was issued then (3/2020) I never received it. Nor was there ANY notification of same even though the policy was renewed (with an increase) within 90 days of that date, and every year since.

I received a notice that the funds would be turned over to the State Controller if not claimed, alleging "no activity on the account since 3/2020)

While Progressive brags about their streamlined, online, fast, response. The only option for this refund is to mail a letter (US Postal Service) and wait for 4-8 weeks.

It seems likely that Progressive is far more concerned about quickly TAKING my payments, and in turn dragging out as long as possible any funds due for disbursement. Does anyone know…

I am furious. I have been trying for three months to get one small piece of information straightened out with Progressive regarding their Snapshot service. I have two vehicles, both with the device. One was not being driven for a couple of months because it needed repairs. Progressive cancelled my device.

I called to tell them I was waiting until I could afford repairs and I did not want to return the device. I was told when it was running again to start the vehicle and wait for the device to beep, which I did.

When I was involved in an automotive accident long story short an irresponsible woman crashed into me head on. Her and her daughters weren’t restrained but I suffered the most physical damages, she broke both of my legs, and still healing.

Her policy didn’t give either of us as much money as anyone would hope. So she asked progressive money for damages, and even though SHE WAS AT FAULT ON THE POLICE REPORT, and had no way of winning any case against me, they wanted to “protect me” and gave her the money to not be hassled.

And now every time I try to start a policy with them the sales department reads “I’m at fault,” and no one seems to be able to help in changing that on their end, when it was their fault it’s registering incorrectly.

She states she cannot do anything to help my case, however, this is her job. I cannot call back to follow up because she will put me straight to voice-mail. Underwriting had sent me two emails to contact them regarding information confirmation. The emails had a different phone number then I had for Progressive and my app had no notifications about confirming information. I called the customer service line twice after receiving these emails and both times they said there was nothing on my end to handle.

Because of Progressive I am upside down over $35,000. We have dealt with 5 different insurance agents with our claim. The first 4 promised us that everything was covered because of the initial incident (pipe break) and due to our claim being passed off to 5 agents and the time it has taken (5 months,the work has just BARELY started) we now have mold.

We found out we didn't have mold coverage but since progressive sent out a restoration company that literally did NOTHING (they looked at what we had taken down and said we did a good job and left), they didn't rent dehumidifiers or try to dry anything out. I finally called just to get it over with and they informed me that they could not help me because their systems were down conveniently. They have hijacked my bank account so I suppose I will just close my bank account since they will not let me close my account with them.

Horrible business and a horrible way to treat a customer.

I was rear-ended at a stop light by the other driver going 45+ mph. My vehicle was totalled and the driver who rear-ended me was charged with wreckless driving. That said driver was issued a rental car on day one.

Even though I filed a claim and forwarded pictures of damages, it took 26 days for Progressive to call me and approve me a rental car. I'm the victim here, and yet, I was without transportation for almost a full month!

I can never reach my so-called claim rep. All I get is his voice-mail with him saying "if I call before 12:00, he'll call me back the same day," and yet, he NEVER returns my call. In fact, Progressive has done nothing but give me the runaround switching me from rep to rep (5 in total).
