I am writing to express my serious concerns about the behavior of an employee at your [Public Storage Location] facility in Arizona. On 12-17-24, while at the storage unit, I encountered e lady employee who worked the morning shift banging on my car window telling me to leave and that I didn't have an unit there and treated me like a homeless crackhead after she called the police on me.

I work 12 hour shifts in a metal factory and sometimes get burnt out and yes I did not put but did not deserve to be disrespected like such This interaction was not only disrespectful but also created a very uncomfortable situation for me as a customer. We buy storage units from Storage Treasures. The first time we won a unit from there (its the one in Waterford michigan off of Dixie Highway) we went to get our unit. Sat in the parking lot for over 2 hours waiting for someone to show up.

Called the manager of this location multiple times and left multiple messages, contacted Storage treasures for help, and asked for a call back to set a time to get our unit. We never received a call back. Neither did storage treasures.

We never got the unit even though we paid for it. We never went any farther with it, we just said we would not purchase from this location again. Some time has gone by and we found another unit we really liked.

We thought we would give it another shot. We won the unit at the same location. We went there on Saturday…

Have illegally claimed that the payments I made for the months of December and January got "charged back" which never happened the storage location is the 2020 NE Albina in Portland Oregon. My debit card was charged for both months and total was paid in full, but the lying manager is now claiming I now owe them for those 2 months plus $300 in late fees despite my payment history on their own app showing the payment was valid and went through.

I'm including a pic of the payment history from their own app and website. I even paid Feb in advance except for the last $20 which I paid on the 5th of Feb

Complaint Details On September 9, 2023 I rented a storage unit at Public Storage at 510 Jones Ferry Road in Carrboro NC. On 9/16/23 I had movers move some of my mother’s furniture and belongings to the unit. My storage unit was “002” and the property had several units marked “002”.

I left a few voicemails but no one called me back. The remote access key unlocked a unit that had that number. It seemed to be the right size and I moved my belongings into the unit. On 10/27/23 I got an email saying that my “move out was complete”.

So I rented a storage on behalf of my boyfriend only because at the time it was convenient for us both due to my job which I have a good drive and no much time to do anything during the week sometimes on weekends depends on my daughter schedule. I figured putting our stuff and just sending the money would have been convenient and during the process and me being out of town a lot then we could store it and no worries well that was not the case.

Trying to help my son and his family rearrange thier unit today (11/12/23) and was informed that we could not use the outlet on the outside of the unit to plug in a light to see what we where doing. The units have not lights on the inside and they are dark as hell to work in. This is the first time that I have been told that we couldn't use them..if you don't want people to use them cover them with a locked cover.

My unit was broken into 2 times never got a phone call just email. I was removing my item with a door that was dangerous to get in because whoever broke into my unit destroyed my items and the door.

I couldn't get into my unit for days so I had to remove it myself with a socket set I had and barely had 1 day to move everything. I received a phone call one of your employees demanded money for my unit and I was told I will be responsible for left over trash and damage.

My storage was stolen by management and public storage corporate don't care and and my opinion allows this to happen!! I obtained a storage unit with Public Storage in lynnwood washington in August 2023 , I have never had to use a storage before so this was new for me.

I also take care of alot of people so my cash is stretched but I was told by management that every place is diffrent but at that place , thier units go up for action on the 20th of the month so have it paid for on or before the 19 and your stuff is safe!!

I have been a customer for about 7 years now and I have never had any major issues. I had noticed the auto pay was turned on without my knowledge. I went to the settings and turned it off. I pay my bill regularly online and use different cards from time to time.

I received a email notification that autopay was turned off. I did a email search but did not have any informing me auto pay was activated. I noticed duplicate charges for the month of August 2023. This card belongs to my mother who informed me.

I contacted customer service who told me they could do nothing about it. I contacted the card company and they did a investigation and found that I was charged 2 times that month. They went ahead and reversed one of the fees.

Auctioning unit without proper notice. Payments being made weekly. It is imperative that I speak with someone that is in high authority. 00 without justification or proper notification. I have had issues since day one. No one on site 75 percent of the time.

The initial setup was complicated and I didnt have access to the gate for 3 days, had to go troubleshoot during office hours. By the time I was able to get into the unit my u-haul was overdue. I was given a crappy unit with a hole in the door and the inside falling in.

I was pressed for time and had to return my u-haul so did not have time to complain. I lock is on the opposite side of every other unit. The lock is positioned behind the brick wall so its hard to even unlock.

The contents are exposed to the elements (spiders, bugs and lizards were frequently found inside). I stayed for approx 2 months and moved out on 9/3, after finding a family of lizards in the unit. I followed up to pay my remaining balance and they inform me I owe the full amount because they do not prorate.

I have a storage locker at 1293 W. 84th Ave. Federal Heights CO 80260. I received a call from one of your representatives and they were rude and disrespectful. I realize my unit was not secured the way it should have been locked but we plan on moving things around so it can be locked correctly.

I have been having your locks on both storages and was told that my son’s storage #F711 lock was cut. I’m very concerned about your security system. I was told that we have to pay for your lock. I have the keys to both storages.

It's a black lady that works at pu lic storage o jim Wright freeway her name starts with an L. But she is THE MOST RUDE PERSON I HAVE EVER CAME IN CONTACT WITH IN LIFE!. I would ask her simple questions and she act like she wanted to bite my head off as if Iv done something to her.

I've had my unit for six months now and have been on auto-pay since opening the account. Today I found my rate had gone up, from $267 mo. to $333, almost 25%! When I called to ask if I had been over-charged, I was informed that (naturally) it's in the contract that PS has the right to increase their rates at their discretion.

While I'm not arguing a rate increase (I would have expected and can accept a 5%-10% increase), I take extreme exception to the amount! That's GOUGING for the sake of simply being able to, knowing the tenant has spent A LOT of money moving their stuff in, and have no other recourse than to take the increase, or spend A LOT of money to move out and go elsewhere!

I am very frustrated. I got a unit back at the end of May. The lady who was working there at the time had me show her my insurance and said they would not charge me the insurance. They charged me the insurance for July.

Then the door never works at the building my unit is in. No one in the office is ever answering the phone or there. Yesterday I went to pay my payment, which was late and I was being charged the insurance again.

I asked for a refund for June and they would jot give it to me they only gave me it off August. My husband and I were so frustrated with the service we cleaned out our storage today. Now because we were late making the payment we do not get a prorated month.

So we are paying for a a whole month we are not using. This is frustrating.

S. I have made the management aware of my needs and I OCCASIONALLY have to work late and have left the building after 9 no later than 930pm after quickly putting my tools away and getting what I need for the next day.

I am in good standing and I have been singled out for no reason and received a restriction that only allows me access from. 9 to 5. There are multiple units that are lived-in by homeless people. I have noticed that they stay all night and they walk in and out with no restrictions.

I have had multiple issues with this location and I have even upgraded my unit size after 6 months when the cost was doubled so I could get my money worth. This is unacceptable and is going to cost me money when tomorrow I am unable to be at my jobsite when I need to be.

I need to complain about Darren Wiley from Beaverton and surrounding. He's the hiring manager. I wouldn't recommend ever applying to this business. I had a phone interview with a man named Corey who was really nice and helpful. I then had a phone interview with Darren and everything seemed good.

I went in person to talk to him and left feeling good and promising. He told me he would get in touch soon for the next steps. I get a weird email from him saying they saw my application and couldn't reach me.

I am a decorated vietnam veteran and 100% disabled vet. Yesterday i was useing the outdoor spicket which has a hose connected to it. The new female manager(the nice guy quit) came rolling up on her golf cart and told me the water and hose is not for the tennants.

Iwas washiing some old kitchen plate because i did not want to box them away dirty. Little hitler talked to me like i was some punk kid. I am 72 years old. Today she came to my storage unit (D33) and iI moved a couple of items outside the door.

When I called previously (3 months prior) I was told I have to arrive to the location in order to sign documents if I want to clear my unit and I can’t have anyone doing so for me. I paid for the months I wasn’t able to arrive and finally when I was able to I came to the location in order to finalize my arrangements with Public storage.

When I arrived there was no one to assist me in the office, I have called and spent more than an hour to finally be told that I can have access (or anyone else can have access) to my unit and I should bring my own locksmith or I need to pay $100 for your guy to do it but for that I have to sign documents that no one is there to have me sign!!!!!!!

I rented a storage unit at the 62nd and Allisonville location in Indianapolis, IN. I lost my job and fell behind on payments. I came into into the 62nd & Allisonville location and paid my past due balance in full and was told the lock over would be removed in a few days.

RATS, RATS, AND MORE RATS! NO KIDDING!

I would love to give minus stars... if these were rats instead of stars, I'd give 50..... rats? Well... yes... CONSIDERING RATS HAD INVADED MY STORAGE UNIT! I have been paying for that unit for 2 years. It is supposed to be climate controlled... I guess for Florida, 90 degrees is the climate... because that's how hot it was in there the day I went to empty my space.

My husband and I have two storage units that we purchased in June and in less than 5 months the rate changed. When we questioned it someone told us that they would submit something to stop the increase and it wasn't done.

So we left in alone. 00 a month, which is almost doubled. 00 and now would be over $200 a month. My husband talked to someone over the phone and was told the same as before that they would put in to stop the rate increase.

I left a voice message requesting something in writing for their rate increases or I will have to report fraud, because this is not ethical and I believe someone us trying to scam us.

Hello, I have been a loyal client of your north Hillsborough location. Recently my unit rent went up by $50. I have been working with your assistant property manager to try to lower it with no avail. I keep getting the response of no, and if I want a cheaper unit to downgrade.

My current unit is going for under 130 right now. But if I cancel my storage and get another same size, I would have to move my stuff to a different unit. When my unit will be going for the same price.

I would be a satisfied customer if you would honor the current price of my size unit or at least take me back to my last payment agreement.

Absolutely the worst storage company to rent from. I was evicted from one facility for having my door pulled down-because the sun was shining in and it was 100°- even though the manager took it upon herself to come and

open my unit when the rental terms state they are not to do so without prior notice, or in the event of an emergency. Fine I broke a rule. They gave me 48 hours, when I should have had 7 days.

I have had two units at 129th and Maple in Omaha, Ne since 2020. One of these units J38 has had a broken door since I rented it! I have reported it numerous times, even though it has not shown up as such.

This door as come down on my head quite a few times so I got a stick to put on the end to make sure to hold it up. I have argued with the Care Center Reps each month because I WAS NOT going to pay the increase in rent due to the broken door and it has been adjusted.

The first of May, I thought it had been adjusted, but it wasn't so I was charged late fees then it turned into liens. On May 9th, I was in my unit J38 on a ladder and some bins came down & one took out the stick & the the door came down & trapped me in the unit.

Rented a unit 3 weeks ago and the elevator/freight lift has not worked once. We have had to carry and climb the stairs to our unit. Have told them multiple times that the elevator is not working and they say they will call when it is operational.

They have never called and they have never fixed the lift. They have suggested that we don’t know how to use an elevator, they have suggested that we shouldn’t have moved in on our move-in date (you have to schedule the move in.

) All of these things are their problems but they suggest it is our own fault. I will be reporting them to the city for not complying with city accessibility codes.

I would give zero stars if possible. I rented a until back in December, mainly to store the equipment for my cleaning company. For the FOURTH TIME since December, the gate is out of service and you can't get in until the manager opens the gate at 9:30, full TWO HOURS after I'm supposed to be at a job.

I pay for access from 6am until 9 pm, which already is BS hours. Take your behind out there and open the damn gate at 6am as is outlined in our agreement. Thanks Alot public storage, for costing me another client because I can't access my equipment.

You're lazy, you don't return phone calls, and you're not living up to your end of our agreement. The second I find another unit that's available, I am outta there. Idiots.

One day I needed my my medical supplys I have cancer. then my son went there and fell asleep in there and caused a problem so I made him leave and not come back he hasn't been there in months but now they say I can only be there during business hours for 30 mins and

the girl is so rude and ugly about it I'm tired of being punished for something that I didn't do and I want these workers to be professiol . And the girls there are far from it I'm looking else where for a unit if something isn't done

On the date of April 29 2023, we rented a storage unit. Arriving to the location at about 4:30, I go in to get a cart. The lady at the desk, Lisa immediately screams out to me, no more carts, as there was clearly one available.

I inquired about it, she told me the time had expired for cart usage and that I could go purchase one. I retrieve a few belongings and go back to my truck. I see a woman walking out with the same cart she said I couldn't use.

I go back in to ask her why did she tell me the time had expired but she allowed another person to to use it. i politly asked "why ma'am when I can use what was paid for? As a valued customer for well over 20 years, I am highly disgusted with the interaction as a paying customer.

I have had a unit for 5 months yet I've never been able to access my unit not once. I've always made payments each months to keep my property yet my gate code has never worked. I've been told I need to come in and show my ID to confirm my identity.

I thought that was outrageous due to the policy never stating that is mandatory. Once I showed if my gate code was then again denied. I was told to contact the district manager yet I've never gotten a call back or a connected on any of the numerous attempts to resolve this issue.

Dude to this I've missed holidays birthdays got behind on bills and have been unable to live my normal life it feels like I'm being completely discriminated against 100%.
