I called Quest Diagnostics about a bill in question (i.e. $6,701.68) around 6/21/2024. The operator mentioned that the bill was sent to Optum (related to the Department of Veterans Affairs) and rejected due to an error with my birthday. The operator updated the birthday information as per my phone call around 6/21/2024. Why am I getting the bill on 7/5/2024 when the bill needs to be sent to Optum a second time? This e-mail is for the record since my phone call did not preclude a paper bill about 2 weeks later.

On Saturday Nov. 4, 2023 at 9:15am I arrived as a walk in patient at the Quest Diagnostics located at 400 W. Allegheny Ave. Philadelphia PA 19133. I sat in the waiting room looking up at the screen that stated I was #1 on stand by.

At 10 am the Phlebotomist came out and said that they where not doing any more drug test and anyone who was there for that should come back Monday. I told her I was not there for that so I continued to wait for my turn.

At 10;45 am their were 3 people including myself sitting in the waiting room, The Phlebotomist came back out and asked us if we were walk ins and the 3 of us said yes. She then told us to leave because they where not accepting any walk ins because they where booked with appointments for the rest of the day.

The technician wanted me to pour my sons urine from the collection cup to the urine specimen tubes after he fainted. He was unable to do so and I asked for a manager but she said there wasn’t one there.

I had to perform specimen handling which is not the patients job! My visit was 9/16/2023 appt time 11:10 patient Christopher Perez at 1361 Hylan Blvd SI NY This is unacceptable and the tech should be retrained at collecting urine specimens.

I had appointment Friday September 2 they closed do to a hurricane that never came on September 1. Made appointment at noon on Thursday the 7. Sat for over 4 hours. This not the first time I have had a problem with quest. It's everytime I come.

Or you need to make appointment 8 months in advance to get a early appointment. This is the worse I mean the worse to deal with. I get no satisfaction coming here.

You really should look into your workers because they couldn’t care less in that address,all that time came to 3 hours and 14 minutes,so we are trying another place,and his doctors appointment is for only Tuesday so that really messed us up,and just think I made an appointment a week ahead and this happened,it was terrible wasted a day on a sick person with lung cancer,shame on you all,get new workers

Horrible service!!! Today morning, my husband had an appointment scheduled with fasting. When he reached there he was told by Gretzy, that his order was not in & was asked to call the Dr's off & have them fax it.

He called his Dr's office 2 times from there and yet Gretzy kept saying they did not receive it. She then shouted at my husband and said"you should have them email it" Really! Why wasn't he told that the first time!

Then she gives her personal email and asked him to call one more time and have the Dr's off email to her. By then my husband had enough of Gretzy's nonsense and decided to leave. On calling the Dr's off he was told that they had fax'd the order two days back.

We stopped by later at the same Quest lab and since they have no help up front we had to wait over an hour…

Even though I had an appointment for 11 AM, which I made weeks ago, I arrived at quest diagnostics in Miami at red Road and Byrd Avenue and proceeded to have to wait for two hours and 15 minutes to get a simple blood test. They were 176 appointments booked for the day with only 3 1/2 phlebotomist doing all the work.

People were so angry . There were people standing against the wall with nowhere to sit, so many people leaving because they couldn’t wait 2 hours. it’s really disgusting that they book so many people and then they can’t deal with the volume of bookings that they took.

Got a bill in april paid that bill in april. Cleared bank on 5/04. Got 2nd bill called and was told takes 30 days to clear. Get 3rd bill call again advise to send proof to an email. Sent and nothing done.

Now I get another bill call again well can you send proof to a different email and threaten to pit me in collections for a bill paid on time 3 months ago. What people are working here? Bill # clearly on check and they deposit with that bill # so where it go??????

Do not make an appointment at the Shelton Ct location. They are always running 30 mins behind and don’t care if you’re inconvenienced by the wait. No apologies for the wait. Not to mention they took walk-ins over scheduled appointments.

I had a 12:40 appointment and wasn’t seen until 1:15with no explanation. I will let my dr know not to send me here anymore. I’ll go to other locations that have their stuff together! They took my name off the board at 1:02pm but was still sitting in the waiting room and had not been called until 1;15pm.

I’m very tired of making appoints here only to have to wait an additional 30 minutes. Not sure why I got here early… waste of time. Especially since part of my visit was urinalysis. Not sure how long they expect people to hold their pee.

Drew my grandbabies blood, two attemps, second attempt had blood flowing then stopped half tube through and said I can't do this, she's too strong. Are you kidding me! Said come back in the morning. I'm 49 years old her full time cargiver and I take care of het 24/7, she is only 24lbs and I was holding her other arm, legs and her whole torso and two grown professionals adults couldn't do the job they are paid to do? Now I have an NAS baby that already has extreme trauma more traumatized plus now no blood work after all of that. I would like to file a formal complaint.

My husband needed lab work for his annual physical which is scheduled a week from today. We went to our doctors clinic but the lab tech was unable to get any blood and said he needed to go to quest before they have extra tools they can help to find a vein.

I googled and found one quest office open today and it was open for another hour. We drove over to quest and when we arrived there wasn't an actual person in the office. When you walk in it's a waiting room with a kiosk to check yourself in.

I am beside myself with the incompetence of this company. Over 3 months ago, I received an invoice in the amount of $15 for the portion that was not covered by my insurance. I promptly paid the invoice online through my bank. The following month, I received an invoice for the same $15. I called the bank, which informed me that the payment had cleared weeks earlier.

I called the Quest customer service number and gave the representative my account number. She said they no longer went by account number, only by invoice number, which explained why they didn't realize they had received my payment, since the payment through the bank was associated with the account number. Long wait time. Nobody is there to answer questions (auto check-in kiosk), rude personnel when you finally get a live person. I waited 1.5 hours with an appointment and watched the waiting room fill and empty three times and never did get helped.

I had to ride the city bus and it was running 10 minutes late. I attempted to call over 10x to let them know. Apon arriving I tried to check in and it wouldn’t let me so it took me as a walk in.

On July 11th 2023 at 6:10 am I entered the Quest clinic on Peachland Ave in Port Charlotte FL. The woman at the desk was extremely rude to me when I was asking for help on how to sign in.

She had a rude tone with me, watched me struggle trying to use the computer instead of helping me. ) And angrily pressed a few buttons,signed me in and said"there you go". I was disturbed by her behavior, thought it was somewhat violent, I just walked out.

I will never go there again. That woman shouldnt be working the desk with unprofessional customer service as that.

I went in for stool and blood work in June gave my insurance card and got all my work done. The lady Barbara told me i did not have a copay insurance covered it all & everything was good to go.

I went in again to the same location for another blood work today and michelle told me that they don’t my insurance. I told her i was just here not too long ago and got work done. She kept trying to tell me i wasnt there when i was.

I haven't used their service, whatever it is. But, some woman driving their car almost hit my car on purpose and was screaming at me like a crazy person and threw her drink at my car.

There is a guy who often draws my blood at your Turlock CA location. He has made several inappropriate comments to me. Once he told me of his abusive childhood. He also said he saw me diving recklessly in my wheelchair.

He blew through my vein drawing my blood and blamed it on a high INR, and actually it was too low. I hemmoraged all over the place,the floor and my car. The appointments by phone never register. I've had it!

my appointment was at 2:30 pm 6-29-23 i reached there on time was called inside at 2:50 pm . I couldnt give them enough urine sample so i asked nurse if i can drink water , she gave me one bottle . but it wasnt enough for me. since quest diagnostic center was located inside walmart i went out to buy more water. after 30- 55 minutes when i came back the manager refused to take urine sample from me and her reason was that i went out from the facility and this is against their rules . and was very rude to me may be i was a person of color . The worst service ever, Never enough employees to take care of patients with appointments. Never on time to take patients in. I arrived on time, over 23 minutes waited long There is just one person, to take care all patients.

I come out to get my paperwork’s from my car, returned back, still waiting over 45 minutes, she replied which I have to wait and wait till end of the list of all patients which registered for today! Means from 12:10 pm since I arrived, now is 73 minutes after, by closing time, when I complained, she said go ahead and complain to our facility. this is not logical. Not acceptable.

They clearly look at the bottom line and do not care if people have to wait 2 weeks to get a blood test because the insurance company. I visited the Davison, Michigan 48423 Quest site this morning for some reoccurring bloodwork. At the time of my visit, I was told by the phlebotomist that in order for her to draw my labs this morning, I was forced to pay a bill of $99.07. I kindly complied, because for the last several months I have been having many labs drawn. My bills are constantly processing, so I went ahead with the payment request. I gave the woman my credit card and she gave me ONLY a receipt for the payment of 99.07. Later in the morning I received an email from Quest, thanking me for enrolling in a One Time Easy payment. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT AN EASY PAYMENT IS. I never spoke anything of an easy payment with the phlebotomist. She didn't ask me if I wanted to do that, and she never explained…

Went to my appointment was told that they do not due STAT was directed to Annapolis Bestgate location. One tech said no they cannot do stat will have to call the hospital waited and waited talked to another tech she said yes they do stat.

Waited & waited the tech said no to stat finally said yes & then will need to call the doctor to confirm it’s not for today even when we told her they were needed for Monday. Waited & waited for her to call doctor.

Your office in Newburgh NY does not accept walk in patients on Saturday but when I go to Goshen there is no problem. The techs all have attitudes and are very nasty towards customers. This has been going on for years.

Once I got into an argument over which arm to draw blood from. I do this often if I know better than you why argue with me? They cancelled my drug screening more than an hour before the deadline and when the company (my job) called to reinstate, they refused.

Sub par service at best.

2314 East Irlo Bronson Hwy Kissimmee, Fl 34744 location opens on Saturday. I went as a walk-in which after 2 hours I find out this office doesn’t accept walk-in. I spoke to a nurse at 8:20 and told her that I was a walk-in and she couldn’t told me that they don’t accept walk-in.

Unacceptable the lack of consideration and kindness towards the patients. would be better if service is not offered at all. me. I’ll be sending a complaint to my insurance Cigna regarding Quest practice when it comes to a walk-in patients. Horrendous service.

Wish I could do zero stars. Very rude and almost verbally abusive towards others. She was rude to me my wife as well the other patients that walked in. Clearly does not want to be doing her job. I did not get blood work done that day and will be going somewhere else for blood work due to her behavior.

I was the quest Diagnostic is 108st and Biscayne, sent there by my Hepotologiast for urgent blood work regarding some finding in an MRI. Your staff has be here on a waiting list for over 2 hours waiting to be seen for blood work.

They tell me, “ well you don’t have an appointment “. Knowing all too well I told them it was an emergency. I am beyond disappoint in the customer service at this office. And to add insult to injury, they claim to be short staff and a worker just walks out at 10 AM, for Lunch ? What lack of empathy and compassion for someone that comes in for an emergency.

When to lab licacated on Pinecroft in The Woodlands Texas. I signed in as a drop off prepared specimen. I signed in before noon. After waiting 49 minutes I asked a lab tech about waiting for a drop off and was told you f just have to wai.

I waited for an hour snd left. The service could not have been any worse

I take test every 3 months. This last time apparently they didn't have enough sample to complete all tests. BUT no one called or notified. 3 weeks later the Dr office is trying to find my results and only after our contact did quest tell us there was not enough sample.

So now I have to redo the entire 3 month period again at a cost of another $500 to me, since we can't adjust hormones now, based off the test results we should have had. Someone should have called 2 days after blood draw to tell me to go in and give more sample and we would have been ok.

What is the recourse now? Who reimburses me?

On Tuesday May 2nd 2023 I had bloodwork performed at quest in plantation fl 7019 w Broward Blvd. I have never had a worse blood draw experience in my life. The phlebotomist was unfriendly and seamed to have a chip on her shoulder about something.

Her first words to me were to tell me my insurance didn’t cover one of the tears. When I asked her what the uncovered test was for, she acted like it was a big inconvenience for her to tell me.

Then we get to the blood draw. She was having difficulty drawing enough blood from my arm and kept poking the needle further into my arm which was painful and I expressed my discomfort but she didn’t seem to care.

She finally withdrew the needle and bandaged my arm and I tried removing my arm but she grabbed me and said no we didn’t get enough yet and…

I had an appointment at 10:40, on 05/02/2023, at 12731 Marblestone Dr Suite 100, Woodbridge, VA 22192. I arrived at 10:20, and checked in. I had to fast and being a diabetic it is not an easy task. I received a text of my 10:40 appointment.

At 10:50, I went to the desk to remind the staff of my time and they advised me they are busy and will let me know. At 11:30, there were other patients waiting and started to complaint among themselves. I went up to the check-in again, and they told me that I missed my appointment and will have to reschedule.

I was so mad, that I was shaking and told them of the situation again but to no avail. I WILL NEVER go to that location again, and will tell my medical doctor to switch me to Lab Corp and if he can not I will find a doctor who can.
