I am 64,disabled and do fall at times. I fell into my 55 inch TV, busted to hell does not work, cannot see. I have insurance. I still owe $300 to pay off. All I wanted was another 55 inch TV to replace it with, nope they wanted the rest of TV payment and I could buy a 65 inch tv.

That is no way to treat a person. I can't buy 2 TVs and one is no good. Someone better make me happy.

therefore the washer could not be installed or tested to ascertain if it even worked. That tried my patience BUT I WENT AND PAID 30 DOLLARS FOR A HOSE AND THE WASHER DIDNT EVEN WORK. I called management and the units were picked up the 21st after the men tested the washer it did not work.

When i called the manager she tried to infer that the washer worked when it arrived in the store . it wasnt credible. I asked for a refund and was told i would have it in a weeks time .

I called the manager and she stated she cou;ld not see that i had ever been charged i had to provide my bank statement to show proof of payment, or that i or she had to speak with the area manager. I have been charged a 2-week payment, multiple times, on my unemployment credit card in which I never authorized them to use as a reoccuring payment. I have had my laptop paid off and was even given the courtesy call to see if I want anything else.

For a second I was interested in the Nintendo switch but then I said no but I am still being charged. They are taking payments off my credit card and I never authorized it at all especially when I'm done with my contract

Canceled rental agreement because service is poor, customer service people are rude, and the sofas are not of a quality that I would pay an additional $700 to purchase.

Today, when picked up, there was a 3 inch tear between a cushion and the back of a sofa. Normal wear and tear on cheap merchandise. The mover pointed it out, asked how it happened...none of his business, but I told him.

Then, outside, he wanted to talk about it again, told me I'd be charged and I told him again, I've more than paid for it. It will cost you, RAC, 20 dollars to repair it...get over it.

I called the Saturday before July 1 when rent was due. On hold 14 minutes. Hung up. Called the following Monday, they didn't answer the phone at all. Called back after they called me when rent was late. Arranged pick up for today, July 10 (!) and I'm expecting them to show up!

Got another call, they wanted to know why I didn't pay the rent on time. I told them why...I have an appt for it to be picked up. He put me on hold. I hung up.

I don't have time to be on the phone, fixing their mistakes. Now, they are calling me again. I called back....no answer whatsoever.

Rent a Center location: 4434 Bee Ridge Rd Sarasota Fl. I ordered a bedroom set 3 weeks ago. I was told I would get it within 5 days, no longer than two weeks. The store associates and manager have given me the run around.

I honestly don’t think they had even placed an order. So instead, I found a different bedroom set that was in store and the staff said they would deliver it. It has been three days and I have called 3 times and they keep changing the delivery day/time.

myself or someone has been in contact with rent a center because I was admitted into the hospital in a differant town due to having stage 2 brest cancer and I could not get in to make my payment. A emplyee by the name of Char called my phone and left a message stateing that i was lieing about being in the hospital and stated she was tired of playing phone tag and she wanted my payment.

My husband then called the very next day and spoke with someone else and told them to make arraingment to come get the stuff but the lady Char has kept calling my phone I will not rent anything ffrom that company any more to have to deal with rude people like that. I think it is extremely unsettling that rent a center has to call the local police department for a civil standby on order to pick up products from my home. I have spent thousands in their store in the last 2 years.

Rent a center has lost a faithful customer. The emotional damage that was done to my children by having 2 police officers in my home to get a washer and dryer is unforgivable. I will be looking into legal action for harassment and undue emotional abuse caused by this company.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Employee at the Steubenville Ohio branch named Derick is very arrogant and rude. Took a payment by phone from me and set an agreement for the remaining balance then calls me 5 times within 24 hours about the past due!

I have a washer and dryer from rentacenter of which the washer was purchased by me. I lost my job and instead of the store on Flatbush honoring the the unemployment clause in my contract which i pay benefit plus every month for the employees call come to my home and

My name is Riley Reijnaert and I was attempting to change the account under Delilah Perez for some couches over to my name. I went in on OCT 1st, 2019 to fill out the application paperwork with an associate named Rogelio at your George Dieter location in El Paso Texas, I also made a payment on the same day and he said he would get everything situated and call me when it was ready to go.

So I was in traffic and was at a stop light and smelled marijuana. I looked around and saw a cloud of smoke come from the passenger side of the rent a center truck. As I proceeded forward and came to another stop I was able to pull up on the side of of truck and saw a Caucasian male with glasses coughing and smoking marijuana from a silver metal object.

Once he saw me looking he tried to hide it but i had already seen it. He then proceeded to light a cigarette holding the cigarette out the window with the ash from cigarette flying thru my window! I'm not the smartest girl in the world but I know for a fact smoking while driving is not legal and I'm pretty sure goes against company policy. Very unprofessional and dangerous.

Ok just got home and was told this Rent-A-Center guy knocked on my kids mom door. He's the same guy who sexually harrassed and talked down to me, while I was caught up with them. He told talked downed to me in front of my boys and their mom about how he has 5 jobs and still does better then me.

I am writing as i go to a rent a center in farmington maine. I have a washer and dryer set. I only been late a couple of times but recently the last few payments the store is calling me on the day my payment is due.

I am not late ... I either pay in the morning or towards end of the day but they start calling like 11am and call like 2 times. Why. This is harassment. I can not remember the store number but its located next to the hannaford in farmington maine.

I think something should be done. They want to keep calling about the payment i understand when someone is late but i am not technically. If something isnt to be done i will take this to the BBB. I feel this is harassment from your company.

They go above and beyond to threaten and harrass you, looking in windows or doors when you could be undressed is absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional. That alone could have them arrested and if it happens again, it will. They are more than inappropriate and no other company does this.

I go through summerville Georgia rent a center and have been with them since November and I pay weekly. I have had some major family issues and changes happen and the manager Richard that was there was so understanding and I would just double up on payments because I have kids and need a bed and washer and dryer which are almost paid off.

I rent from rent a center at 3021 Waughtown Street. Winston Salem NC I will be filing harassment charges against Tonya. She has been told numerous times to NOT disrespect my home and my work. I did not give any permission for me to be called 15 times at my JOB.

I have been a customer with Rent-A-Center since 2013, I have a medical condition in which I have to have blood transfusions throughout the year. I have never experienced so much unprofessionalism as I have in the past two weeks.

Firstly, I entered the store to make my two week payment with my credit card about two weeks ago, the payment with through with my bank, but there was a glitch in rent a center's computer system which showed that it did not go through on Rent-A-Center's computer system. Complaint from the only RAC store in Hagerstown, MD. My account is only a few days away from being paid in full and we receive a harassing call stating that they want to come pick up the furniture because we are 10 days late. There were bed bugs in my furniture. I’m very upset. I never experienced anything like this. I ordered furniture that came from fairness hills store n delivered my the north olden ave store I am very mad I have to still pay for furniture that wasn’t my fault at all.

I was just told by an attorney that the Liability Waiver Protection I have been paying for on my agreements for years is NOT mandatory. I was told that it is optional. I had questioned it when I saw it on my online account.

This was NEVER on a receipt that I received through the store. I have paid this "optional and completely bogus extra charge" for years. I was misled and this practice is shady. Is this an issue that the Attorneys ey General's office should be aware of??!!

I have had several issues with my current lease contract at the Gloucester, VA store with the employees there. I have several accounts with this store throughout the past 5-6 years even before it became rent a center. But the employees there now are very rude aggressive and almost harrassing intentionaly to the point I feel I'm being harrassed.

We recently moved to the Bithlo area in Orlando, FL. I was in desperate need of a washer and dryer. So my husband and I decided to go to RAC. We ha e been customers off and on for years.

The store located near 32820 has been the worst experience. It took them 2 hours to get us verified and signed up ive never waited longer than a half hour.

Also our washer was not working correctly so they scheduled to come pick it up and give us a replacement and they did not show up at the time the set up and did not call until an hour after the time they gave us. When my washer was ready they set an appointment with me last thursday between 4 and 6 to bring me my washer and they knew to contact my husband because i told them i was at work.

My husband and I are very disgusted with Rent a center store number 02045 located in Albany Or. My husband and I have never dealt with a situation quite like this and we have rented from a previous store before in Portland.

The only one and true honest thing that I can say that they were very up front with right from the get go. Was that if we did decide to rent from them and we needed our machines serviced it could take them a week or so to get to us, to have our machines fixed so

I pay my bill every week. I might be a little late and Rent-A-Center customer service calls me 20 times from different numbers. They even called my friends and family for 40 dollars. Very disrespectful and nasty attitudes from all of them employees.
