Took my car to replace the back windshield. As they prep the car they noticed they had the wrong part so I was told they had to reschedule me. They scratched the car when they were preparing the car. I came back a few days later to talk to the manager and file a complaint about what happened and to find a resolution.

The manager was not friendly at all. I was told to leave the shop, they called the police on me and was told I couldn't come back. The police report states that no threats were made and nothing happened. So why did the manager have to call the cops on me? To intimidate me?

I own a 2023 XT5 Cadillac , during the winter storm my windshield cracked . I called my insurance company and Safelite was recommended because Country insurance has a contract with them for windshield repairs, They sent out a tech he was asked if he knew what he was doing because I have sensors in the wind shield and

a camera on the rear view mirror. When the tech completed the install , he told me he test drove my vehicle , I never seen the vehicle move, had the same mileage on the vehicle when I parked for the evening.

in May after waiting a week to replace a windshield. I showed up and was told they were too busy. I rescheduled a mobile appointment for a week later. The glass did not arrive and was rescheduled for August 14th.

The tech took out my windshield and said he couldn't replace it because of a VERY MINOR AMOUNT OF RUST AT THE TOP and left me without a windshield. I spent 1hr grinding the rust off. STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH for Safellte as the tech's manager said no after another week of waiting for his decision I used West Coast Glass and got the windshield done properly the next week finally on Sept 11th.

I assume you'll just ignore this rating and not show it your potential customers. If could, I'd give y'all a 0.

12/15/23 Contacted Safelight for windshield repair on my 2020 BMW 330-i. Instructed that the order may take a day or two to obtain the part. 12/16/23 Contacted Safelight for an update. Instructed that the part had not yet been located.

On December 19 2023 ,needed windshield replacement. State Farm recommended Safe lite. They replaced windshield. two weeks later the repair failed badly. It rained over 3-4 inches of water inside my truck, filling the cup holders in the console.

Also badly staining my headliner. Waldorf M. D. Manager informed me to take it to another Safelite location for replacement. After that take to dealer for electrical diagnostics, and headliner repair. Promising a rental. The dealer has my vehicle, for 5 days now still no rental car.

After making an appointment with the store in Sandy, Ut that I have had excellent service from several times before I found that my appointment was with another store on 90th south. Since I was from out of town I went to the other store thinking I would get the same service.

After having the windshield installed I thought all was good until I noticed the dash had been broken at the base of the windshield near the defroster vent. This dash was in pristine shape when I took it in and the vehicle has always had protection from sun damage, so I know it wasn't from hardening of the plastic.

My molding was never put back on after a windshield that I waited a month for, I was told it flew off, it didn’t, and if it did it would be the fault of the technician, I’m not satisfied with the service and have to spend money to get a piece that I had on my vehicle when I arrived to the south Philly location on Washington ave, I will get in touch with the better business bureau and continue to let everyone know that do not patron this location, the experience has been a headache from the beginning.

Replaced my windshield a year ago (took two due to defective parts). Then got a chip in August 2023. Took them 6 weeks for an appointment to fix the crack. A week later my review mirror fell off taking a big chunk of glass with it.

The refuse to fix it stating I “hit” it with something. Reading reviews it sure seems like their warranty isn’t really a warranty since they won’t stand behind it.

Our technician came to our house to repair small dings in the windshields of both of our cars. He did NOT give us anything to sign or go over anything whatsoever. He simply began working on our cars. After he left, one of the windshields began cracking and spiderwebbed out from the tiny dings and left a 3ft long crack.

We called and told them what happened and they scheduled us to bring the car in the following day. They never once told us we would be responsible for the cost, as it was their fault. When we picked up the car they charged us our deductible of $250 even though we were never told the work was not guaranteed.

GAVE THEM MY MERCEDES BENZ SL-550 TO REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD. THEY ADMITTEDLY REPLACED IT WITH A DEFECTIVE WINDSHEILD. THEY BLEW OUT THE CODES TO MY REMOTES, MAKING IT SO THAT I CAN'T LOCK MY CAR OR DROP OR RAISE MY CONVERTIBLE TOP, ALSO NOW CAN'T USE MY REMOTE START EITHER.

I'm extremely disappointed in safelites terrible customer service today. I scheduled 2 cars to be worked on the same day at my house. One a repair and the other one was to have the windshield replaced. I have been receiving emails and calls from safelite confirming my appointments for over 3 days.

I Took the day off to be here for this appointment. On the day of the appointment, I get a call from a customer rep telling me that they cannot come to my house to deliver an install my new Windshield.

I had appointment today Saturday 09/16/23. I brought my car in at 11:00. It is now 2:30 and it still isn’t finished. I was told 2 1/2 hours. They took cars with out applications before mine.

Also your two women at the front desk are very rude. When I first arrived either one of them said how can I help you. They just sat there. I had to tell them I had appointment. When I came back after 3 hours to check on my car. They were very rude.

On the September 2 2023 Safelite AutoGlass installed a aftermarket auto glass windshield. I'm not happy and I cannot accept the aftermarket auto glass that Safelite AutoGlass installed in my car. What I expected from them was to replace my windshield with a OEM Ford windshield, NOT A AFTERMARKET AUTO GLASS WINDSHIELD.

The installation of my windshield was fine -- pleased with that. My complaint comes from the fact that the technician dropped a large amount of glass in my driveway and left it there. In addition, there was a large piece of rubber that covered the window to protect it from the elements while awaiting the repair and it was just tossed in the driveway and left instead of at least asking me what to do with it. He could have even put the rubber down to catch the broken glass to avoid it landing in my driveway. I have grandchildren and great grandchildren who come and play and the glass posed an injury risk to them and us and even our pets. I answered the review request with no response. Not really happy with this situation as it also has a potential to damage my tires.

WA state Lake stevens area. had to take a day off work to get windshield replaced. tech called 3 times never spoke, and hung up when I answered the phone. called after the 4 hour time had expired and was told that the tech called me 7 times and that my windshield was damaged and that I would have to reschedule. totally unacceptable behavior.

You can't speak to a person ever! My windshield was installed incorrectly and the only way I could speak to a person was to call the installer . I had is cell number because he called me to get the gate code to where we live.

On 7/27/23 I had my windshield replaced at Safelite in North Haven Ct. Initially everything looked fine when they were done. However, they did not install my windshield wipers correclty. I found this out when I was driving on the highway in August and went to wash my window and the drivers side wiper flew off. When I stopped and looked at the passenger side wiper, that too was not installed correctly. The clip was broken and the wiper just came off easlily. I went right to the nearest Auto Zone and they replaced my wipers ($55). Note, I just replaced the wipers prior in late Spring. There are a few marks on the windshield from the wiper that blew off.

I'm not looking to have the windshield replaced, the car is 2014 with 206k miles. My mechanic said that they could just buff out the marks.…

Safelite 2655 Monument Blvd Concord Ca Arrive today 8/2 for scheduled front windshield replacement on Acura MDX. After 15 minute wait, receptionist told me that, for some reason, windshield hadn't been received from warehouse. She had no explanation for why I hadn't been notified the windshield wasn't there.

She offered no expedited appointment option in view of the inconvenience. Said she could make me another appointment, but it was 2 weeks out. My wife and I drove two vehicles to Safelite, a total of 64 miles R/T. Bottom line is that Safelite had no interest in working to satisfy a seriously inconvenienced customer.

Hi Team,

I am really not convinced that safelite can do anything for people's safety. I have been lingering with my windshield broke and they are not able to fix my glas. I have been trying hard since 2-3 appointments where in i have to drive all the way with the broken glas with safety concerns and they are not taking care of the windsheild replacement. Instead they will like to give the dates to you and then when you reach to them they try to push for another dates.

I did an online quote through the Safelite website an on Google their page offers a $60 or $80 off coupon code. I used it and was ok with the quote but when it was time to schedule a time, the page said there was an issue and to give my contact info so someone could call me after 12 hours.

They did do so but told me that the coupon code is not a valid one. I said it came straight from them but that didn’t matter. Not only that, nothing was included in my quote but the glass! Then.

There was a $49 fee for mobile service and $39 fee for disposal and then tax. How was at least one of those things not included in the quote? It was over $90 more than the price without the coupon and $170 more with the coupon.

They don’t even stand by their own word.

On June 30th a safe lite technician went to my daughters home to replace her windshield while pulling into he driveway the technician ran into her garage door causing damage. The technician reported it to the Lithia springs office and took photos.

Sine then any information about getting the door repaired has been gleaned from her calling the office, no follow up initially, no follow up when promised, nothing seems to be happening. You facebook messenger system is useless with hours going by without a response and the reposes are so non-committal that nothing is moving.

First appointment Saturday April 29th 12 to 5 PM, received a text proximately 11:30 AM stating they cannot do the job at the house they would have to reschedule to bring it in to their shop.

Second appointment: Wednesday May 3rd 1:00 PM, got to their shop and the Safelite employee informed by the Safelite employee it was going to take six hours to do the job, two hours as was stated in the work order. I was stuck with No transportation had to reschedule again.

I called safelite to get a back sliding glass full window for my husband 1999 Ford F250. I let Diane from customer service know that our kids and I were paying cash for the sliding glass window for Father's day gift.

I gave her all the information she need with the vin # she gave me a quote of $499. I said will take it. She set me up for a appt on June 17th @ 11:00 am. The next day I got a call from another guy and he said that Diane gave me the wrong quote it was going to be $632.

22. 00 due to my insurance. 00 is a small claim over it's considered a large claim. The service dept. said that my windshield could not be calibrated by the tech and I needed to take it to a dealership.

Yet the tech was able to do the calibration. 11 for calibration. If I had know, I would have taken it myself to have it done. My insurance will go up and this is what I was trying not to happen.

I want to know why the calibration was so much? Your workers need to know what can be done out in the field so they can give proper quotes. This is the worst service. I will be paying for a simple windshield for years, with my insurance increase. 00.

My encounter with “Safelite AutoGlass,” at your 8910 Waukegan Road, Morton Grove, Illinois location, has been one of abject frustration; and, being my first experience with your service, I’m compelled to inform you, that the service received thus far, rates very poorly among other business services I’ve enjoyed.

First, we’ve been victimized by one appointment after another, some set without consultation, because the part was not ordered promptly.

On the week of May 8th I scheduled a appointment with Safelite in Walker La for my 2022 Nissan Frontier. I showed up for my appointment Sat May 20th. I was asked do I want generic or factory molding, I said factory.

AAA had the wrong policy #. I told safelite the charge should be $100 not $345. The manager called me and told me that he will keep a hold on my card for one hour before he process the charge.

I said ok that is fine. I call AAA and they could change the claim because the manager processed the charge right after he hang up. I have gone through forward in shells now I find it kind of odd. The last windshield I had put in no sooner did I drive down the road and it very small. Any small rock hit my windshield and put a hole in it I am back on the same thing of needing a new windshield on top of that just the other day another small rock hit it and put a chip in the windshield.

Safe lite set a date for my installment. I did not they did. I received about 20 emails, phone calls and texts reminding me to be on time for my appointment. The morning of my appointment I got a text reminder to be on time , at about 7:10 AM. I am a contractor.

I let my crew go home costing them a days pay and me the work completed. At about 8:30 I got a call from Jeff at Spartanburg office telling me the glass was not in and they would have to reschedule.

I was very irate as this cost me hundreds of dollars and my employees pay as well. I was called , emailed and text to be there to protect safelite but they cast me off. I intend to call the better business bureaus, news media and Facebook.

As of 5/5/23 Safelite changed their scores of how many people book appointments in a week with specifically SafeLite to 87% which is unfair to the staff as a lot of factors are not within their control at all.

On top of in the website chats you cannot talk with your peer employees to discuss any of this as it will be deleted by management. They are not allowing their workforce to join together for better conditions and forcing impossible expectations on staff who has been there for years

Scheduled twice for windshield replacement. 8a-noon for 4 May 2023 was set. NO calls; NO emails; NO texts were sent to me explaining that Safelite did NOT have the part today. Last week when it was scheduled, they DID have the part! Unprofessional!!!!! Idiots!!! Lazy!!!!

Took me two hours to reach a human on the phone in order to get told that news.

Waited the four hour wait time. When that time was up, I waited nearly an hour still without contact. I then called Safelite who then called technician, only to find out our replacement windshield was scratched and wouldn’t be replaced that day.

Never received a call that technician was running behind or our new windshield was scratched. Very poor customer communication. Took our business to another company.

Again I'm going to complain about my Safelite experience. Calling corporate office several times and they said they would take a Safelite person to come to my house and fix the gas switch they broke or detached when fixing my driver's side window .

I've been told by many professional people at dealerships this happens quite often. I waited all day and week and no one ever showed up to fix my switch. so I have to manually open my trunk and pull my emergency handle to put gas in my car.

We had two vehicles serviced with windshield replacement. Both of our cars (Lincolns) came out looking worse than we could imagine. The windshield was not centered, the trim was mistreated and torn, the technician did not put the inside trim back on properly.

When we called, the technician said, “ You guys can do that”. We are soo very sorry that we took our vehicles to Safelite. This is a disaster.

Your company makes appointment for a specific time an we get text and emails as a reminder. When you get there they say it will take at least 4+ hours. What is the purpose of an appointment. I called and made the appointment by speaking with someone.

They should inform the customer that it will take 4plus hours. And if you want to wait that is up to you. But at least let the customer know so they can make other arrangements. This is not customer service.
