He was unhelpful . I called to double check that my auto glass claim was accepted because the app was glitching and he didn't know how. U let me stay on the line without communicating to bare with him and.

He would find out for me. He was unable to say why the claim was verifying and not accepted. He rescheduled my appointment without informing me. I don't know what is going on there but he made thus whole process more stressful than it needed to be

I had an all day appointment and left my vehicle at 7:30 am. I went by at 4:30 pm and they hadn’t moved my truck. They originally told me they would be done late morning/early afternoon. When I called to check at 2:00, they said they were just ready to pull my truck in as I was next.

At 4:30, they had done nothing so I took back my truck. Awful service experience!!!

Safelite tech was suposed to replace windshield on van . Key was left on dash as requested. Tech said he was not able find key . Key was highly visible. Then tech wanted me to take van to body shop to fix non existing rust around windshield.

There is no rust there . I just want my money back so I can take van to a reputable glass shop . I may file a lawsuit against safelite.

I can't call ny of the Safelite phone numbers and actually talk to person. The local Safelite doesn't answer either.

I brought my van to Safelite, in Greensburg, PA. They removed my windshield and couldn't replace it due to rust. My vehicle was towed ffrom that location by AAA, to the garage where th rustt was repaired.

Safelite never returned my inspecttion sticker. If I get pulled over without it there is a mandatory $500 fine. I need the sticker back or reimbursement for a new inspecttion. Please contact me.

The technician from Safelite Rutland, Vermont shop improperly installed the windshield by not sealing the passenger side. This resulted in leak that damaged the car interior carpet and floor. This required repair by a professional body shop. I called Safelite several times and made multiple visits to get reimbursed for the damage and repairs. No one responded.

Based on my experience I DO NOT recommend this company.

I decided to have 2 windshields put into 2 vehicles.

First they was coming to me. Then canceled. So I rescheduled. The second appointment canceled. So I scheduled to come to them. I show up. They put vehicle in shop then come tell me they did not have the windshield so I will have to reschedule. So I did.

Showed up today they put the windshield into the 1 vehicle that I've been having trouble with. While I was setting in the waiting area the man that was working on my vehicle come in looking in a desk and come out with electrical tape.

I thought that was odd. Anyway when I got home I hit the button on my remote to lock the doors and nothing. I tried to hit my button on the remote to start the vehicle and nothing. So I had a ideal what was going on.

On 12/22/2023, it was replaced. After driving it, I noticed that air was coming in around the windshield and the moulding trim was coming off. Unfortunately, I was on the road for a few months and could not get back to make an appointment.

On 2/27/23, I was in town for a few days and needed to get the vehicle fixed, as it was getting worse! " I got the manager to approve replacement without an appointment if, I could leave it. I agreed.

The replacement split down the middle last week! I called the warranty number and she scheduled a home visit appointment for 03/31/23. Between 1200 and 5pm. The last email I received from Safelite was at 1:48pm stating that my tech Scott would be arriving by 5 pm today. No one showed!

I was given an appt on 3/21 for between 12-5 I received no call, at 4;30 I called the number supplied and was told that the care would have to sit for at least 2 hours after install. 00 I was told that the glass is in Oklahoma.

I now have another appt for next Tues between 12-5 for a mobile visit. Please understand that MY time is as important as yours. I was given your Company name by my insurance, I will do EVERYTHING in my power to make sure that Farmer's Insurance DOES NOT recommend your company again.

They send LOTS of business your way. the fact that you cant even speak to a human being tells me all I need to know. I am driving an unsafe car, I just lost my Dad and I have a sister in ICU an hour away, she is on a ventilator and I NEED to be available to get to her.

Twice I was rescheduled without contacting me and claimed I failed to answer phone yet no number, text message, or e-mail so there is a failure to communicate by the company. As a senior citizen I feel I was taken advantage of and it is not that easy to change to another company. Received late messages after speaking to costumer services yet still feel I was the one at fault and not the company

Kissimmee location in Florida. Amazing staff and the manager Shawn was amazing. So many rude people and loud customers who just make his life hard but he just apologizes and moves on. File a windshield claim on February 21st. Has being going back and forth for the last month. Was told by Perma plate that safelife would replace my windshield but I would need to take to Mercedes’s Benz to complete the remaining windshield.

Everything has been lie after lie and I am not happy with this company. 00 out of pocket . 00 warranty that I pay monthly included with my car payment. I will not give any money out of pocket because Perma plate refuse to give my funds to my choice to repair my windshield.

I will contact my attorney at this point and sue the hell out of Perma plate and safelife for wrong information

Satellite is a scammer. Took my Toyota truck there first mistake. They told me they put in a temporary windshield until they get the right one. Unplugging my one of my sensor for crossing the line. Took it back to get the right windshield.

After waiting 4hours they didn't put the correct windshield tried calibrating the old one and couldn't get. Told me to take it Toyota because of the brakes. DO NOT GO THERE SOUTHAVEN MISSISSIPPI

Discovered a crack in my windshield about a week ago. Booked online an appointment with the Conyers, Georgia office (had to go to office rather than them making a home visit). Drove there (50 miles) today to have windshield replaced. The SafeLite online system did not include in the order all that was needed to replace the windshield (molding around glass was lacking*). So, I had to reschedule for an appointment 8 days later. Driving 50 miles home I was extremely upset and decided that there must be a better way. I contacted the collision company I used after hitting a dear two years ago and they referred me to the local glass repair firm they use. After having it cleared through my insurance, the appointment was set up for next week...and yes, they come to my house.

My complaint is with Safelite because my claim was submitted through USAA on 12/13/2022 and I still haven’t been serviced yet 2/27/2023. My appointment has been canceled on 3 separate occasions. I was told 2 times that the windshield would arrive on a certain date only to be cancelled both times.

I can understand shipping delays but it’s been over 2 months and I’ve driven around with a cracked windshield. Of course I will have to pay my deductible plus but I think this is unfair! I am scheduled for today to be available from 1:00 to 6:00 pm but haven’t heard anything from anyone as of yet 4:23 pm.

I am Highly Disappointed!!! 00 USAA deductible for damaged windshield and replacement by mobile tech on 1 Dec 2021 in which had to be replaced due to OEM defects and poor workmanship. Safelite Manager refused to replace my 2017 Tahoe windshield on 13 February 2013 as was promised via lifetime warranty.

The poor workmanship and 2 windshield manufacture defects necessitated replacement. The poor installation caused loud air noises (annoying sounds) around top left side of window. made an appt. to get my windshield replaced. When i arrived they informed me they ordered the wrong glass and i would have to reschedule- lost day of work but i figured after they inspected the window they'd get it right the next time.

Make another appointment, take day off from work and got to the Mt Kisco safelite to get the windshield replaced. Guess what, wrong glass again. Total incompetence! But the worst part was that the installer and the women at the front desk must of been frustrated because he began dropping f bombs in the waiting room which is so unprofessional and rude.

So now im out 2 days of work and still have no windshield. I honestly cannot believe how unprofessional and incompetent this company is. This is the MT Kisco Safelite in NY.

So after not receiving promised call backs from the location who was supposed to be getting approval for an oem windshield I requested the phone number. Then after almost two months, 3 calls to customer service I finally got an appointment to get my windshield replaced to then get a confirmation call that was at the wrong shop.

So unless you have months and a lot of patience I would almost suggest paying out of pocket for a replacement from another shop and fitting with your insurance company for a reimbursement. If I could give this place a negative review I would!

If only common sense and customer service was common!!

I had a crack in my driver's side windshield about an inch wide. The technician was kind and tried to fix it at my home. When he was unable to fix it he ordered me a new replacement windshield. They called me a week later and ask me to come to their shop 45 minutes away to have it changed.

I arrived and waited 3 hours for the replacement. I finally went with my daughter for a late lunch and when I returned was told that the new windshield was damaged but they would reorder one and install it at my home.

A few days later I got a text to come back to the shop for the replacement. I quickly called the store and informed them of the mixup she informed me that the technicians in the field were Amateurs on this type of installation, and in no way to be trusted doing a car like this!!

Specifically the Midlothian VA location - never once contacted me after initial appointment was cancelled because they didn't have the glass. I contacted Safelite twice to verify they were still waiting for my glass, the last time being September. Just got my vehicle back after body work to repair back end collision damage and checked to see if my glass was in and found out the order had been cancelled on 10/31.

Everything about the Midlothian location is bad and they should be held accountable

I visited a Safelite shop here in Chula Vista on 3 Sep 2022. I couldn’t get into the store good enough when an employee came from the back, opened the front door, looked at my truck and yelled to the person at the counter that my truck was lifted.

Got to the counter and met with Luis and he appeared agitated and rudely told me he could not service my vehicle. After asking why, and him rudely telling me to go back to my insurance company he threatened to call the Police on me.

For a dispute about service, not a crime. It leads me to believe that Safelite has issues with persons of color. The leadership and general counsel of Safelite does nothing to rectify customer concerns regarding racism and discrimination. They lost my business forever.

I had an appointment at 2:00 pm. My car was not even touched until 3:11pm. The guy has it sitting in the back for another hour before even starting it. It’s now 5:26pm and they tell me it cannot be calibrated and I will need to come back.

I’ve tried several times to get ahold of a real person to speck to at Safelite. All I ever got was automated messages. Fill this out fill that out. Well I wanted to talk to someone. So I called a different company and a real live person answered the phone that I could talk to one on one.

Our windshield was broken in an accident and my husband tried to contact 2 of our local Safelites. No one answered the phone at either shop after letting it ring for a long time. He tried to book online with no success.

00 to replace the windshield. Frustrated, he called a local glass repair shop. 00. We have used Safelite several times over the years and have been pleased.

However, we will no longer use y’all because of your high cost and total lack of customer service.

Windshield replaced September 22. A plastic cover over the electronics behind the rear view mirror was broken when the windshield was replaced and we are still waiting for a replacement. Repeated calls to the location is met with an answer the part is still on the way.

Three months seems to be a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a part.

My appointment is for today to have my windshield replaced. I scheduled this appointment then took a vacation day from work so I could accommodate the appointment. I was called yesterday at 4:00 pm and told the glass for my vehicle was damaged and it would be 3 to 5 days before a new one would get delivered.

I was told they went through the glass early in the morning and found this concern. My issue is why didn't someone contact me earlier in the day if they knew this in the morning. I could have rescheduled my vacation day at work.

You also have Safelite locations all over the Nashville area. Why didn't someone try to locate the replacement glass at another location. I am now losing a vacation day and still have not accomplished the reason I took the vacation day.

i had my galls serviced and they failed to secure my window panel and it flew off. They failed to fix it. Never showed up for my scheduled appointment. NEVER called to apologize for not showing or to even reschedule my appointment.

Attendant received me with rudeness probably because I wa 30 minutes late. I suggested he take his time that I was not in a hurry. He responded in a very belligerent tone saying he doesn't have time to waist that he has five jobs to do today.

When he came back to where I was I told him I was sorry he was having a bad day and that I am just a customer. He completely ignored me. I walked a mile up the road to sheetz rather be in the same building he is in.

I dread going back to pick up the vehicle. I feel I may have to defend myself physically. I do feel threatened by him. This work is being done in Bloomsburg, Pa at 8:30 AM December 17, 2022.

I'm not a review writer but this has me furious. Today, took my car in for a $1200 windshield replacement. The last thing I did before I walked through your front door for my appt was put 3 things in the cup holder/ph charging area in the dash console. Then I shut the lid. I get home I go to grab these items and they aren't there. Unbelievable. Work was completed by someone named Tammy. That's theft. And who knows what else was taken. I only noticed these items because I had just moved them. I've owned businesses in the local area for over 15 years, so I understand how hard it is to find quality staff. I also understand how negative reviews can be very damaging. I'm interested to see how Safelite chooses to handle this.

Three times in a row the warehouse delivered the wrong window for my car. The technicians were great and apologetic. He went out of his way to measure and photo the window (for one of the most popular Honda models ever sold) to assure the correct window would be shipped to them.

2nd visit and again the wrong window/part delivered except this time the window was SO WRONG it was like I was on candid camera or being pranked. 3rd time is a charm! Wrong again Safelite. I lost 3 days of work that I will never be compensated for.

I lost all respect for Safelite. Go elsewhere Safelite sucks

I'm 2019 F150 was hit be a ro k and cracked my windshield. I called my insurance company and they have an agreement with Safelite. They scheduled an appointment to come and fix my glass. The Fredericksburg, Va shop is totally incompetent.

Today, three weeks later, my 6th appointment was cancelled. Only one of those due to weather. I keep getting the same excuse, rhe glass didn't come in from the warehouse yet they tell me they have plenty of glass for my truck.

We had our windshield replaced by Safelight last spring and as far as we can tell they did an excellent job. Last week we got a notice that some calibration was not done at the time of installation that enabled the safety features on the car.

We were told to bring the car in for this work. We schedule the appointment, drove 40 miles to the repair center only to be told this did not need to be done on our car. Total waste of 4 hours and 85 miles on our car.

Obviously this company does not have their act together. I just question what else they are not correct on.
