I chose Satellite to repair my daughters windshield on her car because I thought it would be a fast, timely service. They came out the next day and repaired her windshield and then broke her wiper blades. They said they had to speak to the manager about the repair.

Since then I have called the 1-800 number several times to speak with someone about the situation. To no avail they keep giving me the run around. It’s been 11 days since they repaired my daughter’s windshield and she cannot drive the vehicle while it’s raining not can she get a vehicle inspection tag until this situation is fixed.

The Hampton Virginia store is awful. They never answer their phone and the only time they did call me was to get the VIN number to check and make sure the part they ordered was correct. I need this…

Made an appointment to have my auto glass replaced from 8:00am to 1:00pm. 1:00pm came and went and had not heard anything whatsoever. Called and was told my technician would not be here for another 15 to 20 min and it would take them 45min to replace the glass.

I specifically made the appointment for that time frame because I have to pick up my child from school. This is the 2nd time this has happened, similar instance this summer when trying to replace glass on another vehicle. Had to reschedule 3 times before getting it replaced.

I am officially done with saftelight. Won't use your services or recommend your services again.

Today I called to ask about why after a week of waiting for an appointment it was canceled-come to find out my glass wasn't approved for a week as I am leaving the state in less than 2 weeks. I ask for the complaints department and was hung up by a women.

Called back and LITERALLY had a Parts person name "Dion" answer. " I said excuse me? He literally starts raising his voice telling not letting me get a word in until I have to raise me voice EXPLAINING I was just speaking to a Rep who explained the dates and

Worse customer service I have ever experienced!!!! On Friday, 11/25 I made an appt for 12:30 for Sat to have my windshield replaced on my 2018 Chevrolet Equinox LT. After about thirty minutes I received a call from a young lady advising me that I need to change my appt to 12pm.

I agreed to the 12pm appt on Oakland Park Blvd in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I arrived at the location at 1130a. At 1145 I was told by Fritz that they did not have the windshield for my vehicle. I advised him that I was leaving town and going back to the Tampa area on Sunday, and I did not want to travel with a cracked windshield.

After I had my windshield replaced yesterday, the Pre Collision malfunction light came on. I turned around and took it back. Turns out the censor that controls that safety feature was broke. They couldn't install a new one because the only one available was in Virginia.

They said they they ordered a new one. They tried to say it probably csme that way from the factory. I think the person installing the new windshield broke it and they were covering up for thêm. It is a 2021 Corolla.

Watch out for these guys they're steal the chip right out from your toll tag and then stick it back on like it's still there and then when you call to complain about it they act like they don't know what you're talking about and do nothing to help

Set up an appointment through progressive to replace the windshield on my 2012 hyundai santa fe. I told the representative that the vehicle had a special windshield with a heating element so be sure they have it in stock before sending someone. He ignored that completely, and scheduled my service. When the tech arrived, they told me that they had the wrong windshield, and did I know it had a heating element in the glass. They rescheduled me from that Monday to the upcoming Friday. Made plans to make sure to be home.

They supposedly have a store in New Braunfels TX but the local number just linked to the nationwide number then asked you to go online to see about scheduling an appointment. I finally got sick of calling and found a local company that was happy to help and actually answered there phone!!!!!!!!!! Good riddance to Safelite!

Replaced a cracked windshield on my 2002 Toyota Rav 4 on October 6, 2022. Work seemed to be fine. Experienced heavy driving rain on November 8, 2022. Discovered that the new windshield was leaking. Called safelite right away. Asked that a mobile unit be scheduled to fix under the warranty.

Scheduled an appointment for today, November 9 between 1:00 and 5:00. Waited all day. Got an email that the technician named Osvaldo would be out. Never got a text or email alerting me that he was on his way. At 4:50 I called to inquire where he was.

The person answering the call took the infor and put me on hold saying they were going to check with the technician. At 5:00 the phone went dead. As of 6:01 I haven’t heard a word.

Made promises and appointments that it could not keep multiple times. Then goes out if it's way to avoid direct communication, aside from immediate $ find collection.

Paying for something, being lied to repeatedly about the deliver date, and then going dark, are recipes for "non-business viability". IE should go out of business.

I will never use Safelite ever again.

First the guy came out on 9/19 to fill a chip, and that chip turned into a huge crack, so I scheduled again to have a tech come back and replace the windshield. Two cancellations later because Safelite claimed they had no techs available, scheduled My 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer to have the windshield replaced through Geico 9/30/22, by tech Wadi ID# 1833-581, work order# 01833-908864, where he came out to my Job replaced my windshield, scratched up my passenger side window arm and

October 29, 2022 at Safelight at Modesto we took my Red Subaru Forrester for windshield replacement and they did not fix it properly the insert are sticking out on the side and on the top. We complaint the manager and the technician say it’s just a cosmetics and they both acted like it’s nothing.

Then manager says bring it back on Nov5, 2022 and they made more mess. The tech wipe all my radio station my phone connection and they scrape a paint on the front right passenger window windshield. We complaint again and they said call our insurance.

The quality and customer service do not care for thier customers at all.

I scheduled to have my windshield replaced for my 2017 Audi Quattro 10/27/22 at the Madison location. They knowingly replaced my windshield with a defective glass that they were unable to calibrate so now my safety features to my vehicle are not effective, depreciating the value of my car .

The rep told me they have had problems with this glass manufacturer a lot and he unsure why they still do business with them . I was not inform of the risk nor was Inform during the process like I requested there was an issue.

Had I known there was a risk I would of never accepted the glass. In addition to that malfunction they also requested I pay Double the price I was quoted. I have called safelite multiple times to get idea of what I would have to pay .

So they asked me to drop off my car early and I did 2 hours Early and they told me it told me that that they could probably get to it before my before my appointment at 4 however If we can't then we will definitely you will definitely get you in at your at your 4 o'clock appointment.

So So 4 o'clock comes and goes and 430 be no communication and my car is still sitting in the same spot I dropped it off at. 445 I asked for my keys when there was still no communication. If they can't keep my appointment just say something so I can reschedule and not sit and wait and wait and wait and wait.

I get it if you start running behind but there's no reason to not communicate this to the customer. Extremely disappointed

After making an appointment 1 week ahead them taking all information on the car then driving 1 hr to the nearest safelite location to be there by 7 am. After a little while they told me they did not have there windshield in stock but they had an original windshield which they would not put in.

They would try to get it approved. After waiting about 45 min I asked if it was approved. no approval yet so I told them I was going to call custermer service. While I was on the phone they came out and said they would eat the difference.

Because no approval was given as yet. The place was very rude and made it seam as though it was my fault. There is no customer service.

I paid for a windshield replacement with Safelite while I lived in Fort Myers Fl. Safelite used my old weatherstripping which came off shortly while driving. The Safelite office said they will order new weatherstripping from the Toyota dealer which did not happen while I lived in Florida.

I moved to South Carolina and contacted the Safelite office in Columbia, who said they will order new weatherstripping from the Toyota dealer. To date, I have not had my new weatherstripping installed!

Scheduled an appointment. Got a call. Glass was not in yet. Told I would get a call when it was really. That was Friday Oct 7. It is now Monday Oct 10. Trying to call for an update. No one answers the phone, not even the customer complaint line. Machine just hangs up.

This company stinks when it comes to customer care.

I greeted nicely when I arrived by the person at the front desk area. He asked some questions and we understood what was going to be done. This was not my first time at this location - and have always been treated with great customer service.

However that was where it ended. I was there to get a chip in the windshield repaired & also have my windshield checked as I was getting frost/dew/mist on the INSIDE of the glass after the last replacement. After waiting quite awhile- a technician came out & explained to me that my windshield (which has a lifetime warranty and had been replaced previously) was not going to be covered under the warranty.

Was direceted to safelite auto by my insurance company after my car was vandalized and windshield was cracked. Was informed by my insurance company that safelite would be able to replace the windshield as well as recaliberate my cameras .

My car is a 2022 Subaru Outback only 6 months old.

FIrst appt I was there about 6 hours, only windshield replaced. I lost 6 hours of work. Was told I had to come back in one week when specialist for recaliberation was there due to being off that day. Came back in one week with no resolve.

Only to find out, they put the wrong glass in car. Subaru dealer contacted me and said only Subaru glass can go in car for cameras to work. Again, was told I had to come back the following week. This time I lost 4 hours of work.

No one ever answers the phone. Your automated service sends people in circles and is frustrating to say the least. If I wanted a computer response I would have gone on the computer. All I needed to do was speak with someone about your warranty but your system is so frustrating that I will not ever use this company again if my windshield breaks

Reviews and TV commercials do not mention the difficulty involved with changing an appointment. My insurance agent’s office provided my husband and I with assistance in dealing with a deer accident. Hurricane Ian was said to hit Delaware with tropical storm rain and wind.

Safelite representative provided us with an in-shop date for October 3rd or a mobile at home date of October 12th. Because the car’s windshield wasn’t weather friendly we took the latter date. Just called Safelite to see if I could get an earlier appointment, I was advised that if he went into the system for a new work order, I would lose the appointment I currently have.

The positive television Safelite commercial should at least put scheduling issues in fine print.

I had a rock hit my windshield on the highway; remembered the jingle and gave them a call, got an appointment relatively soon. The guy came and replaced the glass in an appropriate time and everything looked ok to me but I don’t know much about windshields… long story short my car was fine until about a month or so

later when a heavy rainfall revealed that not only were several rubber pieces on my car now completely loose and detached but water was now pooling inside my car somewhere and cause if mold to grow every time it rained.

I visited satellite on Westport Centre in St. Louis Missouri needing my back rear window covered and to enquire about the price to replace the glass. The tech covered outside of window with quality plastic and tape. Received a quote for the glass tone replaced.

On sept 3rd the glass was replaced with a tinted glass. 00. I was told the correct glass that was replaced cost the same. The receipt on that day 9/24/22 had a different price. The manager acted very unconcerned and could only say I wasn’t charged for it.

The employees are lazy, they could not locate the glass, which i did in 5 minutes, the person installing the windshield forgot to connect the wipers and calibration was not performed, because they did not know how to do it but made me wait for 2 hours. When i started to complain, told me to leave!!!! Great business!!!!!!

I scheduled an appointment on Monday, September 5th for Friday, September 16th to have the windshield replaced on my 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport at Safelite, 2121 W. Mercury Blvd, STE B, Hampton, VA 23666. My husband rearranged his work schedule to drop it off before work and to catch a ride to work.

He received a phone call stating the SUV needed to be dropped off, but it had been sitting in the parking lot since 5:30 AM.

However, he then gets a text message stating that the appointment had been cancelled because they did not have the new windshield in yet. My husband called Safelite and they stated they do not know what parts they are getting until the morning of the customer’s appointment.

Why do you even schedule appointments before you have the parts?

I had a windshield replaced and a knife from one on the technicians must have fallen between my seats without anyone knowing it. My grandson and I was looking for a stylus he dropped between the seats, me not knowing that the knife was there, I accidentally cut my index on the knife.

I didn’t have to have and stitches or anything but the fact that it was there and caused me a great deal of pain is unexpectedly. Can someone please reach out to me?

Today is the 5th appointment I have to fox my broken which Sheila. This has been going on for 2months. The tech broke the 1st window. The 2nd tech broke a piece if my car and the 2other times the wrong windshield was orders.

The price also keeps going up for your mistake. just horrible. I'm paying out of pocket for this. I'm a single mother of 2 this is not how I expected your company to be.

Worst customer service ever had! Tried for weeks to get anyone to reply to email messages, chats etc! No one ever replied. Couldn’t get through to a real person to correct billing issues that were supposed to be handled before installation with insurance claim number!

After weeks of trying gave up and cancelled all service with them! Will never return!

I was walking west on Bell Rd on a 110 degree day , when I crossed paths with a Safelite autoglass truck at 90th Ave. As I crossed the front of this truck the driver continued to roll forward toward me so I changed paths and walked behind the truck.

The driver then reversed the direction of. The truck and continued to roll backward toward me and the other car behind me. I open handedly hit the side of the truck so the driver would stop the vehicle before hitting me and the car behind me.

The driver then pulled out onto Bell Rd traveling west, the same direction I was walking, and threw a full water bottle with some force, and hit me with it as I walked approaching 91st Ave. The driver turned right onto 91st Ave and I was unable to get the license number from the vehicle.

Safelite replaced the windshield on my car on March 29, 2022. Tecniin said one of my wiper blades was torn. However the blades were 5 months old and I did not notice any problems and I am very observant. I called Safelight to complain and received no follow-up.

The windshield on the same car was recently cracked and needed to be replaced again. I completed the order on-line and scheduled the service. However I was worried that I saw no place to note a tinted window. I used the web site chat facility and after providing the information the chat person said that the order was for a tinted window. The Safelite mobile van arrived and they had an untinted window so I needed to schedule another day for replacement. The mobile guy came today and upon inspecting the window trim saw a cut molding.…

Had a windshield replaced recently and they damaged my overhead console. Contacted my insurance company and they never returned my call so I contacted safelite. They sent the guy back out to look at it and nothing was done. My truck was not damaged until safelite put the windshield in and he apparently hit the overhead console cracking it in half. Safelite will not respond. DO NOT use safelite.

Their technicians may install and recalibrate but they damage your vehicle and refuse to acknowledge it. Find another windshield replacement company.

On august 13th I had a appointment to have my front windshield replaced. Everything looked great when it was done. Then I just had my car washed and waxed and I come to fine black tar glue on the hood of my car. I cant send pictures cause the MB are to big so I will need someone to come look at the car. I will be getting a quote on the damage of replacement of the hood to my car and will be send the bill to Safelite. You may contact me either via email or my Cell phone. The first tech couldn’t open the hood, it’s 2010 Nissan not a new car but my wife opened the hood right after the frustrated tech slammed all his tools back in the Rey I and drove off like a child. Then when I was rescheduled for 2 WEEKS later, the day of the appt I got a call telling me the “part” came in Damaged and they rescheduled me for 10 Days later.

What Joke this company is completely not interested in any kind of customer service. I’d rather drive without a windshield if I had to get one from them.

You cannot contact a human, ever! Even if the tech gives you the number they are not supposed to give out. The phone numbers all disconnect you. The web site sends you to a link that is a blank page. My itty bitty chip is now a 5 line spider crack for $152.00

I had Safelite replace my windshield on my 2021 Ford Mustang Eco Boost on 28 May 2022 at my home. The repair job was horrible. There was excessive adhesive on the paint, the window leaked and flooded the car. Water was coming from the dashboard.

I called safelite and was told to take it to 421 E 5th North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The Summerville Office said they could not fix it and I was told to take the car to Safelite at 608 Saint James Avenue in Goose Creek, SC 29445. Safelite replaced my windshield Approximately 30 days after a Stress fracture occurred. The technician came to inspect Said it was rock chip and didn’t even offer to fill chip. Customer service technician was rude and Discourteous. Customer service Of Safelite had been horrible. From beginning.

The 1st installer damaged plastic molding. It took 2 weeks to put non Honda Part. I called Honda dealership said the part was in stock 1 day order. Safelite didn’t even offer resolution. Simply in a hurry to Screw over another person for.

I get a windshield installed and they couldn't calibrate the camera on my Honda accord. So they schedule me to come back another day and I take a nother day off of work. Same thing, new windshield still couldn't calibrate.

Mentioned the camera must be broke. And they would redo the invoice and take off the calibration charge. I don't get a invoice so I call customer service. They can't get a hold of the shop. They tried leaving voice-mail and send them emails to call me back.
