When I called for an appointment they informed me that it would have to be done in shop. I was told to drop it off at 9:30 and it would be done in a few hours. When I actually get there the manager tells me that it might be 3:00 before they even get to it, because its considered a drop off.

Never did they tell me this before. Now I have driven 20 miles for nothing. So the manager tells me he can make a real appointment. So I go with that, and set one up for a couple days later at 11:00.

I got there at 11:20 and apologized for being late at the window. NO ONE even speaks to me and then they walk into the shop and just let me standing there. He finally walks back in and sits down at his computer screen, Again not saying a word.

By now Im almost ready to just say forget it, and he looks up…

Made an appt. mind you I am on vacation... I know it is a small request for them to be here doing the work at 8:30am and a customer should be told "yes" to such a simple request! I would recommend not using them when they do not know how to get a Vin at first contact or give a simple request of 8:30am on a mix up they created!

Windshield replacement, 1st appt canx due to new glass recieved cracked, re-schedule appt 2 weeks later dropped off car and waited 3+ hours no word went back to shop car not done and informed new glass was cracked again, customer service was poor took car will go else where informed insurance. Wasted my time, gas 60 mile round trip want recommend to anyone, I hope other safelite centers are not like the one on Covington Pike in Memphis TN.

I called 2 get a quote tht quote waz ridiculous $1500 2 change out my windshield I even work maintence 4 a apt complex were 1 of there employees live & got another quote he told me $1200 why so dam much this isn't right

I was quoted 1 and a 1/2 to 2 hours for a window replacement. Over 2 and 1/2 hours into the job I had to ask someone what was taking so long. Someone finally came and told us there was a problem getting it all back together and that they were still working on it and was getting help to get it done.

Plus they still had to calibrate it. I was told it would be about another 40 minutes. Almost another hour and a half later we finally got the car back. I was told they had a problem hooking up to recalibrate it.

The technician came and apologized for it taking so long and that someone who had more experience helped him finish it. Nothing from anyone else about the inconvenience of the extra 2 hours. If I hadn’t asked someone who knows how long it would have taken.

I had to ask more than once…

We've been on vacation in Texas all week and had a rock crack the windshield a good 12-18 inches. Our insurance scheduled with Safelite to have an onsite repair while we're here which we thought was pretty cool. We were scheduled yesterday between 8am-5pm.

Pretty crappy schedule, but I assume that's normal and fortunately didn't mess with the vacation at all. Got an email that morning saying he should arrive about 10am. Heard nothing til about 11am when we got a call saying the tech had an emergency and couldn't come, they needed to reschedule to today...

The local branches of Safelite are great, everything is professional and they've been quick and efficient.

Their national customer service line is a completely different story and they are absolutely horrible. Here's what went down: -made an online appt on a Saturday and filled out all their questions and indicated I wanted OEM due to sensors and the vehicle being less than a year old. Online scheduler indicated they could do a mobile service the following Thursday. No where was there any indication on next steps with insurance. -called on Monday and customer service looked at my appt and said there's no way they would be able to get the OEM windshield in by Thursday and pushed my appt out 11 days further. Went through the whole questionairre again and said OEM please. Hung up and got…

Complaint is not in regard to service...Ronald the technician came to our home and did a great job...the complaint is in regard to the desk help at the 985 Central Park Ave. Yonkers NY location, who refused twice to fill out a Certification of Automobile Repairs which is required by State Farm and NY State Law.

Diana was rude, gave no reasoning as to why she wouldn't fill it out and offered no assistance as to how I can go about completing Safe Lite's part of the form. I even called State Farm in front of Diana in hopes she would give an explanation the agent but she sat silent.

When I cam home and called Safe Lite's Corporate headquarters I was disconnected both times. this is unacceptable .

Number 1- I had a rock that hit my windshield and I called Safelite. It was a chip and the technician fixed it but it still left a mark on my windshield, the same size mark that was there before! " This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!

I called my insurance company (which is State Farm) and they told me the same thing - that after it's fixed, it should look like a brand new windshield. Number 2 - I scheduled my appointment on 7/1/22 but they didn't to my house until 7/2/22.

I actually took that Friday (7/1/22) off of work so I could get this repaired and they replied "no, we scheduled it on Saturday, 7/2/22". It's a good thing I didn't have plans on that day. I'm not a happy camper and I want my money back.

Also, State Farm is aware of all of this and they will remove Safelite off of their list…

Today I arrived for the scheduled appointment and in fact arrived an hour early and read while I was waiting. At approximately 3:10 p.m., the technician takes my 2021 Subaru Outback back into the shop and I have the Service Representative call me to the desk shortly thereafter. I did not catch her name, but I was told the windshield had not arrived from Albuquerque, NM as of yet. This would not be so bad, (the error), but this is the second time in two weeks I have driven my vehicle to the Surprise, Arizona Safelite Location. Both times same thing, no windshield.

Used the online site to make an appointment. One of the last things it asked is for payment information. It stated it wouldn't be billed until service is done. Safelite LIES!!! I had over a week till my appointment and knew I would have the money before service.

I get a call from the bank saying I'm over drawn. Safelite processed the job the day I made the appointment - not the day of service. I called to get my money back and I get some a$$hole who cancels my appointment and doesn't refund my money.

Fist that's no way to treat a customer.

Second if I took money and did nothing for it (maybe I should try this) that can't be legal. Probably even criminal. I don't get paid until services are rendered and COMPLETE. It's day three and I'm still trying to fix the damage.

My car was vandalized a month ago I filled a claim with my insurance company progressive they got safe lite to come out weeks later and when they came out to fix my glass they we’re missing 2 peace of glass the teck said he didn’t have the glass and it’s going on 2 months since another tech came out to fix the glass they said they don’t have it now and I am waiting on molding for the car I have called for 2 months now trying to get a date so

I had a safelite tech come to my home and install a front windshield. He was prompt, let me know he was coming and very nice. Here’s my issue. The next day when I drove my car on the highway, the trim on the windshield came off.

I contacted the tech(He gave me his cell phone number) and told him what happened. He told me he would come back and fix the problem. He never returned. After time passed, I bought some adhesive and fixed the issue myself.

I thought that was unprofessional. If he wasn’t going to come back, he shouldn’t have told me he was. I have speech issues, otherwise I would have called. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I paid a lot of money for this service.

I just feel it was incomplete. Irresponsible on the tech’s part.

Good morning, I had a broken windshield back in Dec, which was replaced with Safelite location in Altamonte Springs, Fl. I took my car for warranty appointment about 1 month later due to window panel was loose, so they tightened the part, in March I was driving and the panel just came off since then

I have been driving my Kia Carnival 2022 with this ugly missing part and loud noise. March I had to drive for appointment to evaluate the parts and their employees just took a picture and told me they need to order the part, I told them I could of just sent you a picture instead of having me to drive 40 minutes for 5 seconds picture.

Norther less, they told me to wait for the call once part comes in to schedule an in house appointment. 3 weeks later after attempting to contact their location…

Had a mobile tech come to our home for a chip repair, after inspecting the repair we had concerns, so we called the 800 number and were told to take the vehicle to the local Safelite shop. When I took the car in a supposedly Safelite technician came out to assess the situation and immediately you could tell he was giving me a BS line.

I asked for a manager and a Gilbert Fira came out, he started telling me that the repair had been done and that there was nothing he could do to fix what the mobile tech had done. When I told him that we were not satisfied with the work his voice started getting louder and he started walking away and said there was nothing else they could do for my concern (complaint).

I made the appointment online and it was scheduled out a week or so. The day of the appointment my husband gets a call saying the motor had to be ordered and it would take about five days. The same day I get an email asking for the VIN to order the parts.

I called the 800 number from the email spoke to (Cassandra)and gave her the info. A little later on I get a phone call from Shannon and she proceeds to tell me I need to take the van to one of their shops and have them take a look at it to see what part is actually needed. No appointment needed.

Almost all companies want you to deal with the Online experience. The online appointment did not ask for the VIN and made it seem that was it. Now ten days later I have to start from scratch.

I’ve been trying to get Safelite to contract railcrew express about a part order number so we can get the back glass fixed on one of our vans. I called 3 times and each time I told them to get in touch with railcrew.

Gave them the email no response! I call them back and the lady tells me their systems are being upgraded, I told her to call me when things are back up and I’ve heard nothing! I need a call back so railcrew can approve payment for the back glass.

This is ridiculous please get this fixed now.

I took my 2017 Lexus RS 350 to Safelite in Troy, MI for a windshield replacement. I was told the work would take 2.5-3 hours to complete. Upon arrival, I was told to be prompt when returning because they wanted to go home and one person stated, they wanted to go fishing.

In one hour and 10 minutes, I received a call stating my car was complete.

Upon inspection, the windshield had major voids at the top of the frame where it has not been sealed. The technician told me that the car needed to be in the sun for the material to expand.

Further, my car calibration were in error. I was told a Trainee calibrated the car because the Texhnician who would have normally performed the work was off work.

I was asked to return in a week for them to fix their errors. I need n entirely new windshield…

They are a very unprofessional company.

First I was scheduled for May 16 and they called to reschedule me and then it was suppose to happen on May 27 between 12 and 5. At 4pm I called Safelight to get an Eta and the person said they were definitely on their way and I said ok.

Nobody ever showed up . They are a joke. Don't use them.

Got a quote to fix two chips in my jeep size smaller than a penny They quoted me 211.00 to fix it. I called around and found a glass company that fixed them both for 60 00. And it looks awesome so I cancelled my appt with satellite Don't understand how you can ripp people off.

Safelite (AutoGlass) customer service complaint: I am now scheduled for my Third (3) appointment to replace my windshield with Safelite. The first appointment was for 5/12/2022 between 12noon and 5pm. Got an email confirming on the installer’s arrival the day before (5/11).

On the morning of 5/12 (8:50am), installation day, got a call from the installing technician saying “windshield had not arrived“ telling me I need to call Safelite to reschedule a new appointment. Then at I received a call from Safelite’s local office alerting me the installing technician had called out and had no one else available to send out that (5/12) day.

Small star in windshield repaired on 4-28-22 , a crack spread the next morning . Scheduled replacement for 5-4-22 ,parked in garage as it was raining . ) I refused and another was picked up at the warehouse . Met at the garage again and it was installed after the calibration I was given the vehicle back .

Another appointment scheduled with another replacement windshield for May 9th , I was told it would be first service call of the day and it turned out to be 2:00 pm when the tech showed up . Numerous calls to the Safelite office went to no avail .

LOUSY SERVICE & total disregard of other peoples time .

There was a flaw in the glass and my replacement windshield cracked before installation was completed. No big deal. The tech assured me I'd get a timely replacement. It will be another 3 weeks before I can get a replacement. On top of that my wipers weren't reinstalled correctly nor were the fluid hoses reconnected.

Very unsatisfactory.

April 28th I had a repair done of a small star in my windshield , I was told it possible could get worse while the repair took place (1 in 1000 ) . Repair was made and I was assured it wouldn't extend beyond repairs , it did the next morning .

Scheduled replacement windshield at my work location . It was scheduled for 8-1:30 window on May 4th , met tech in a garage as it was raining . He prepared to set up , 45-60 minutes into preparing he called me over and stated there was a big noticeable scuff in the bottom middle of the replacement .

I called over 4 numbers to complain about one of their company vans driving wreckless because the driver was holding paperworkup in his face and driving across every line on the interstate. THERE'S NO WAY TO COMMUNICATE TO A REAL PERSON, IT'S ALL AUTOMATED. This is very unprofessional and I will never use this company for any reason.

Couldn't talk to a real person. It kept saying I have a smartphone then giving me an internet address. They quated my wife over $600 for a back window. But I couldn't get in touch with them. I found it for $275 at another place.

If you have this branch (Cherry Hill, NJ) replacing your window, BEWARE!!! They were scheduled to do a rear glass replacement at my home. Before the appointment, I vacuumed all excess glass from the rear door area. My rear door was fully functional.

I then left the van parked for the remainder of the week (4 days) only duct taping plastic over the damaged rear window. My wife was home when the technician arrived. After working on the replacement for an hour, the technician tells my wife that the rear door will not open/close.

He tells her that he has to take it to the shop (15 min. drive w/traffic) across town. 5hrs later, my wife texts me at work telling me that the technician still has not brought the van back. She then calls the technician asking where is he with the van.

My daughter had a 2:00 appointment with Safelite today at 7290 Hartford Rd in Baltimore MD. The location itself is horrible on a one-way street with little to no parking. She got to the location at 1:59 pm to discover the parking issue.

When she finally found parking and went inside the man who "greeted" her was exceptionally rude. So rude that I will never get a window replaced by Safelite.. there's just no reason to treat people this way. She walked in at 2:05 and told the man she had a 2:00 appointment.

A few years back I had a bad window. I called safelite, made an appointment, and waited all day. After a no show I called them and they informed me there was an issue getting the window and had to reschedule.

So it was rescheduled a few weeks further out. Again I waited all day and they never showed. I called them again and got yet again the same excuse.

Finally after over a month they came and installed the new window. After they left I looked at it and it looked like utter garbage. I decided screw it I'll just live with it. So, years later my dad needs a new windshield and we call safelite.

I have been trying to get my windshield replaced with Safelite since June 28th 2021. Today is April 14th 2022. In June they brought the wrong windshield and had to reschedule. In July I paid them $100 deductible and they put a windshield in.

The inside had a scratch, but I did not want to deal with this company again… In February of 2022 I reached out to let them know that my cruise control was not working. I did my research and found out that it was due to the wrong WS being put in!

In March they came out to look at it. They told me they could not recalibrate the camera that I would have to take it to the dealership!!!! I took it in left it all weekend and the dealership told me that they could not recalibrate it because it was the wrong windshield!!!

Had to call Safelite and schedule…

Three changes of date to change my windshield on my Lincoln Navigator 2020 first they tried to charge cash to replace my windshield I have State Farm with a zero deductible second it was supposed to be replaced tomorrow april15 I have the paperwork to prove it so today I called to find out what time safelight would be at my house only then to find out they won’t be able to make it so I had to call them in order to find out it has been canceled now this is very unprofessional also because of this I will not recommend this company to anyone

I was outside and witnessed two safelight vans, one right after the other, speeding down my rural, residential street. The two vehicles were easily going over 35 miles per hour in a 15-20 mile zone. I do need to have my windshield repaired but if this is any indication of your employees with their recklessness and disregard for save driving I am going to choose a different company.

This was on Happy Road in queen creek, March 26 at or around 3:30 in the afternoon. I would hope that your company promotes safe driving from your employees. That is not what I saw. Their are children that live here, horses that are being ridden on the roads and other farm animals that sometimes get out.

If I could give this company a zero rating I would. I have a Jeep Gladiator, the factory tires are 33 inches I have 35 inch tires. When the technician arrived after me taking off work to have this done, he stated the he is unable to even touch the windshield due to the fact I have a camera on the windshield and

he insisted the Jeep was lifted it has not been lifted, the wheel base on the Rubicons are higher. I understand the recalibration issues and I had no problem taking it into the dealership. He also stated I have gorilla glass because of the sticker on the windshield that I installed my self.

Sounds like he did not want to complete the work. I have since scheduled an appointment with someone else. Sad I will have to spread the word through the Jeep community. Not a good look on this…

Made an appointment 3 months ago to get my windshield replaced. I had to cancel a couple of times, I went just a few days ago to get the windshield replaced. I dropped my truck off, And received a phone call shortly after.

Telling me that they did not order the weather stripping for around the windshield. Now I have to wait another 2 months because of safelite's mistake. Unbelievable how many ruin children you guys replace and can't order a simple weather stripping to fit my truck and have it ready when my appointment comes up.

Tech damaged my side mirrors and claims he didn't do it. Heated seats, steering wheel and dash is acting up. Latter that day Sa location did admit they were at fault and wanted dealer give me a quote to fix it. Dealer tech found conection loose at rain sensor that shorted heated mirrors out.

Note local safelite location does care about my time or safety and refuses to communicate by phone, no updates to whats going on etc. Wants to take shortcuts to fix the problem. I can never can get anyone on the phone to discuss and forget someone calling you back. My wife is driving with no side mirrors for close two weeks. Forget about a simple Saturday windshield install and calibration.

Windshield cracked and spread across bottom…they won’t cover because after looking at it for 2 seconds they “think” it was caused by the windshield wiper being slammed down. The blades haven’t even been changed out in over 6 months and the crack appeared less than 2 weeks ago. So basically they have no warranty if it’s up the them whether or not they “find” a cause rather than a defect.

I had the front windshield replaced on my 2014 Nissan Murano at Safelite's Union City Georgia shop. I dropped off my vehicle at 8:00am on March 8, 2022 and received a call at 5:30pm that my vehicle was ready. The Union City office closed at 6:00pm, therefore my vehicle had to be stored overnight.

I arrived at the Union City shop the next day around 7:00am to pay for the installation and retrieved my vehicle. It took an unnecessary amount of time to pull my vehicle from their storage area to the front of the building, but it was raining that morning.

As I was driving to work that morning, my rain sensor (which I payed to have installed) did not work and parts of my satellite antenna fell from my front windshield.

First they argued with me saying I was there for a repair when I was there for a replacement. Then she said I had a $500 deductible because I have AllState. I said no I have a $100 deductible because I have Nationwide.

I had to leave and come back to my house to call my insurance company. When I went back to drop off my car they didn't even apologize for their mistake.

My complaint is Safelite was notified that the windshield wiper senors didn't work after replacing the windshield on my Lexus. has scheduled over six appointments and cancelled them. Didn't notify me that they had cancelled them during each time I was at home from 8am til 5pm waiting, no show Tech.

The wipers were working properly before this happen. Last scheduled appoint, a different tech did show and checked the senors and removed to show that it had glue around the area so he left in my cup compartment so the Tech Christ who did the wind shield could fix it.

I got email on March 2,2022 that had appointment to fix it. I called to confirm and was told I did ,no show Tech. Keep in mind now gave part taken off and not put back. So I done with this company playing cat and mice game with…
