They do a good job at replacing your glass but their lifetime warranty is a scam they will find any and everything to not live up to the commitment of a lifetime warranty By pointing out that your glass was forcefully broken/cracked by something or someone just so the could charge all over again.

the below scenarios were violated by the trespasser that came to my private property and ilegally/not authorized worked on my vehicle without my authorization and car keys causing $21,000 in damages, plus $15,000 service investments on the vehicle - I have the email confirmation from Safelite that says the work was completed, I even responded saying that it was not and that someone called me asap

No show. Waited at my job for them so I called @12pm . The rep said that they will see me after 2pm. Then I get a call @4pm that they're running late can't make appointment and ask to reschedule.

I said no thanks because I cleared my calendar for them. 8-5 is unreasonable, need to have 4hr window like other companies. I only went with them because of CSAA

My windshield was replaced on 12/31/21. Apparently the windshield wipers were not tested by the technicians and there has been no rain in San Antonio. On 1/24/22, when it was raining, my windshield wipers stopped working on a busy interstate.

I managed to make to school, as I am a teacher, after a dangerous drive. At this point, I had no idea what was wrong. My mechanic was able to look at my car and determined "wiper hosing tangled around wiper motors".

The Safelite representative said they were not able to send anyone out for a few days. I am a teacher and needed my car, not to mention there are no rent cars, so I had to get it fixed. 79.

I called to make an appointment with the local safelite. instead I reached a person in the south. the person said they could get me in 5 days later. I now find out that this was a drop and go appointment meaning there was really no appointment at all!

Hearing nothing on my cxare I try to call the local place and reach a regional person who says I signed up for drop and go. SOMETHING I WOULD NOT DO! So disgusted with safelite. Now I don't know if my car will be ready or not and I had to make arrangements for rides.

POOR, REALLY POOR experience with the booking. I know the shop is separate from this experience.

we went to a safelite shop put a new back window in my 2017 ford edge and the new glass was blurry. today a safelite tech came to our house to installed new window after he took everything apart i was told from the tech that my back door on my car was jambed shut and

a piece of glass from the first repair got stuck in the lock his boss told me to bring it to there shop i did after 2 hours they gave my car with all the loose parts told me to go to a body shop i cant drive this car

I have tried twice to schedule a windshield replacement. I get no confirmation of appt, my acct will show the pending transaction for replacement, when appt day comes the money is put back in my acct and I still don't have a new windshield. I have tried emailing on 2 separate occasions and I get no response.

I brought my 2017 Red Honda CRV with brand new RainX wipers on it. I needed a small ding in my windshield fixed. I left my work back packed and a second work bag on the floor of my vehicle.

When my car was returned to me both my bags were on the passenger seat and my new windshield wipers were replaced with old ones. Very bad ones that scraped my windshield. I didn’t realize the wipers were bad until it rained and I had to buy new wipers.

The wipers were the first item I purchased for my new car that I just picked up a week earlier. This was done at the Cartersville, GA location 40 S. Morningside Dr.

Don't waste your time. I do not recommend using Safelite for windshield replacement on cars, they really suck at it and will likely damage your car like they done to my personal vehicle.

Safelite damaged my car forgot to put the latch of the hood down and I left them within a half a mile from the repair shop it open up and I nearly died they said they had a broken latch and lied to me I drove to get the windshield replacement and I showed them it was locked they damaged my car and they were rushing to get it done so I am out of a vehicle due to them they won't fix the issue as they are in fault I need a lawyer

The installer came to our house and installed our new windshield. It was raining and muddy. Install is good, but he stood in the mud and got mud inside the car and his shoes picked up rocks and gravel and he dented and scratched the sill plates. This is a Lincoln and they are lighted with the Lincoln logo. The repair estimate was dropped off at the Safelite store in Renton Wa. 2 days ago. I was told a district manager would contact me or the Seattle office manager. I have not heard a word from anyone. I have been told 3 different times someone would call. but nobody ever does. As if they are trying to avoid me.

I am not going away. The tech damaged my car if Safelite will pay to fix it or I will hire a layer.

Called Safelite 12/6/21 to schedule an appointment to have our windshield repaired/raplaced. Spoke to Rebecca (who we later learned worked out of the Orlando, Fl call center). She took all the necessary info from us and scheduled an appointment for Thursday 12/09 at 8:00am at the Ocala,Fl Safelite facility. m. m.

34 for a rear lite repair. manager strongarmed me into believing that its my responsibility to pay for repair and seek credit issue from my carrier. This is ridiculous! I have never had this experience in 50 years of driving.

Per Liberty Mutual, Safelite is their glass claims center. My windshield has replaced with a defective windshield. Center of windshield was very distorted, extremely obvious. Safelite appears to use very inferior replacements. Now I need to have the replacement replaced.

I was driving on I 81 south on 10/29/21 at @ 3 in the afternoon near exit 100. There was a lengthy construction zone with traffic down to one lane. One of your semi drivers pulled out from behind me, sped up and passed me on the right shoulder and cut in front of me.

It was a very dangerous and illegal thing to do. He may have been upset because I didn't let another semi driver who had rushed from the back and tried to cut in in front of me do it. Please do not allow your semi drivers to be so irresponsible as to put others in danger by pulling stunts like this. Thank you

It is hard to talk to someone from Safelite. I wanted to complaint that ever since my windshield was replaced I heard a lot of static on my radio all stations not sure if there was some wires that were running on the windshields that connected to the back antena that was probably cut or move that is why I have been trying to get a hold of someone but I can't. It is just frustrated.

First of all very poor Customer Service you can not talk to a live person. Have questions about availability of a wind shield but can't reach anybody very frustrating will not ever all your company again. If you do not feel it is important to talk to your customers we don't want to talk to you.

Safelite is a company that has precisely zero communication and organizational skills. The local store in my area has a chronic problem with ensuring that parts will arrive on time for scheduled appointments. I had scheduled a replacement for a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, and I was so nervous about making sure the right part was selected since there was a few options.

I tried to call the national number only to be bounced around on hold until I got someone in a call center 4 states away and they couldn’t figure out how to get me in touch with my local store. I broke down and made time to go to the store location.

My windshield was not delivered on time.

First time, the technician brought the wrong windshield. Had to set a new appointment.

Second time, the technician called and said that the windshield was damaged and could not be installed. Had to reschedule the appointment for the third time.

Meanwhile, I am left to drive around with an unsafe, cracked windshield until they can get the correct, undamaged windshield to me. Very unprofessional and very unreliable service. I was offered a pair of windshield wiper blades for my inconvenience.

Order #: 01846 – 787929 Glass was replaced and 2 days later I got in my car and there was a stress crack along the bottom starting in the corner. except that is A LIE. The tech came out and told me it would NOT be covered and that I would have to pay again.

I would rather go to ANY other company. In fact, I would pay triple with someone else just to NOT go to this sham of a company. You are not good people and I had to save up for a lpong time to pay the first time and now you want me to pay again!?!?!

First attempt at replacing my windshield they left it bulging out about an inch, second attempt they replaced windshield but damaged my body of my truck and said they will fix it. And call me back. Never received a call back and they think touch up paint will fix a dent in spot.

Contacted customer service and did nothing. There not getting away with this kind of service and damage even if I need take to court.

I have scheduled a windshield replacement two days in a row only to be told they can't do the job. The first day I was told there was a place pushed down in the body at the bottom of the windshield, so I had a body repairman come out and FIX it.

The second day the safelite employ got out of his service vehicle, rushed around to the same spot and said it couldn't be done again even though it had been fixed. He had no intention of installing my windshield when he pulled in.

Safelite needs to get new people that aren't afraid to do their job. I personally hope they go bankrupt and lose their business!!!!!

we had needed our glass changed . We thought it was great service but hours after, my daughter was on her way back home and had to pull over because the Tropical Storm had started & the windshield wipers were never connected .

We had to get the car towed plus fix the repair. I truly hope that someone will get back to me about this because it's there employee's fault completely. My daughter could have gotten into an accident or something even worse .

Lack of care during installation. 00 vehicle. What I saw when I went to pick up my vehicle was disturbing. There was grey tape on the top of each side of the window. That your unfriendly receptionist told me to take off when I get home. How professional is that?

On top of that, the installer made no attempt to clean up the mess he made. The markings he made on both sides of the interior the strips from the dashboard to the roof looked like someone that just didn't give a damn.

After I went back in and asked to speak to someone about this, some guy never identifying himself asked me what the issue was. Once he sat inside he saw what it was. He took it behind the building and cleaned it as best he could.

I had an appointment on Monday the 2nd of August between 12-5. The technician came around 3:30 /4:00. Once he got there he discovered the wrong gasket was ordered for the job. I was fine with rescheduling to get the right parts for the job.

I was rescheduled to Saturday August 7th between 8-12. No one ever showed. Around 12:15 I received a call stating that the technician had called out. If the technician had called out they should have known this by 8:00 and called me instead of having me wait all morning. PISS poor customer service.

Horrible contact information. Had an appointment from noon to 5:00 pm. Confirmed. 6:20 pm nothing no contact. No phone number but got into the internet que, spent 2 hours at number 9. Texted help to the confirmation text number. 3 hours later.

They finally responded to say they could not make the scheduled appointment and it would be 2 more days. I can’t drive my vehicle. So I will find someone else to accomplish my repair. So disappointed

I had a 9 am appointment today. The person that checked me in was very rude and decided to be unprofessional and mock me when I told him that y’all put my windshield in with a deformity. He even did this in front of his co-workers.

This is my second time having to drive an hour out the way for something safelite should have done correctly the first time. I needed a new windshield because a rock hit it on the highway. They replaced it with a windshield that had a deformity in it and had me drive another hour to get it replaced yet again.

I wasn’t given a discount or even gas money for my trouble. It’s not my fault, the job should have been done right the first time. Then to get attitude and mockery from the man at the front desk was uncalled for.

Scheduled this appointment a week ago, comes to the day of the appointment. Guy was supposed to show up between 1 and 5. So I waited at home ALL DAY waiting on this guy just to get a text from the company saying he is getting started on my car,, then get called AT 5PM saying he isn't going to show up because of weather.

Why the hell did I have to wait until 5pm to hear about that and why the hell did the company say he was out there starting on it when he was sitting at home? So now I have to wait an entire week for them to reschedule me.

I had an appointment to have a windshield replaced on my 2005 Taurus on July 14. The tech broke both my windshield wiper bolts, and the new windshield was broken before it was replaced. The tech said they would get a wiper mechanism replacement part and a new windshield and fix the problem ASAP.

That was the last I heard from them. Today, July 27, I called Safelite and was told that they could not find the needed part and would not be repairing my car. No time between July 14 and July 27 did they ever contact me and tell me any of this.

Driver Complaint - on July 26, 2021 in Concord, NC between 11:15 - 11:30 EST, driver pulled in front of me, only to turn again in several feet, I blew my horn, he slammed on brakes and stopped in the road trying to get me to hit him in the back end.

I followed him to get his truck number in Legrand business parking lot. His truck number 17256. This black guy, with a beard is a total asshole. Should be fired for almost causing a wreck!!! What a joke! We have used Safelite many times however we will NEVER use them again!

They are absolutely un professional all the way around from not understanding what to order or who to order from. I never get returned phone calls only time i speak with them is when i check up on my order.

I have been waiting two months now for an order its so horrible I never want to use safelight again. The store manager can not even handle an order and forgets who you are at least 5 times. Very poor customer service never again.

My one month old brand new car car was damaged by a Safelite representative when they came out to repair a ding in the windshield. The repair bill was $3,000 for repair to roof paint. Safelite is trying to make me pay a $500 deductible for the repair caused by their technician.

Horrible customer service and a bill for repair sent to me 6 months after the damage was repaired. Disreputable company!

The old bait and switch routine The online scheduling and evaluation of the vehicle gave me a price of $263.99 day of the appointment the price that went up to $400.00 and I did the online chat with a Safelite guy to ask him why did the price change less than a week ago and all he would tells me was the price does fluctuate a bit. I would never deal with these people never ever again and hope that nobody else have to deal with this trickery and price gouging during this pandemic.

order no 01502 684347 windshield put in 05-05-21. leaked bad right away. tech named brad reset it. it sealed but he left glue on the window, tore the door gasket badly, left the mirror laying on the floor along with the wrong size torx tool he removed it with, also left a flashlite there too.

he was grumpy at having to repair another techs work and complained the whole time he was here. at least it doesnt leak now but what super sloppy work. i wont be back needless to say.

Went thru my insurance spoke with an agent that fit your company with my needs. I'm a disabled veteran with stage 4 cancer so went with your company because the agent said that I could get the job done in 3 hours.

The morning of the appointment I received an email that said I would have to leave my car till 5 o'clock. I waited until they opened and called explained that I had an oncologist appointment at 1 o'clock and she was very understanding and said to bring my car in by 9 o'clock they would have me done by noon.

In June of 2018 I had a windshield replaced and recently the mounding started coming off. On June 7, 2021 I called to have it repaired. I was given an appt today June 9 between 1pm and 6 pm. No one showed up and when I called to see why no one showed up ( which was a long drawn out process) I was told no appt had been made.

I gave someone a referral number and was told that was the same number from June if 2018.

Finally, an hour later, with a second appt, I was told the referral numbers do not change. Seems to me Safelite employees need some job training and customer service training. I took off work to be here today, so I wasted time off from work.

My work order number is 00645-251235. I prepaid for a windshield for my GMC Sierra. I received three emails telling me I’m on the books for an appointment Thursday May 20 for home service and an email telling me the work was complete, but nobody showed up to replace the windshield and i still don't have a windshield.

I was scheduled for 8 am to 12 pm Thursday and after 12 someone called telling me they had to go to another town in SD and would be back by 3:30 pm for my windshield; they didn’t show up or call. I called them repeatedly at and after 5 pm and they finally answered and said due to a mix up they couldn’t get to me on Thursday.

I asked if they would be out the next day, he said its not up to him, he’s only an installer. Friday, May 21 I called and got the Sioux Falls store…

Technician installed a new windshield that came pre-chipped. Sold as a new windshield but obviously damaged. Technician did not notice until pointed out. Unfortunately he already had my payment or I would have refused on the spot. Stated this would have to be a warranty repair (although the windshield was damaged when it was installed) and will take at least a week.

This is not a warranty issue, the windshield was never correctly installed. I expect a full refund since you installed damaged parts and refused to correct the problem in a timely fashion. Have filed complaints with BBB and state attorney general for shoddy work.

I had a small chip in my windshield. When attempting to repair it, it turned into a major crack. I was told it can happen. They ordered a windshield. Today I dropped the car off for install. I got the car back with the headliner fabric hanging down and big black fingerprints all over my off white fabric. I went back.

They cleaned the fabric and glued it. Backing out of their garage the fabric is dropping again. They said someone will call me to fix it. As I left I saw more handprints they missed again. I am so angry.

It’s a luxury car that was immaculate. Nothing is resolved at this point and I’m out $244. The headliner fabric is loose all across the top.
