On April 24 I mad an appointment to have my glass replaced. 30 am W O # 01822-3432 Dropped off my Audi A4 convertible and started walking home, I get a call from technician that he needs to open the top and job can’t get done otherwise, I understood and told the gentlemen that top stop working last year.

Complaint of a Safelite vehicle. In Connecticut, 6:50 am, 5-12-21, north bound on Rt 25 in Monroe CT. Van driving erratically, tail gating, speeding, unsafe passing in traffic. CT LIC # C039500. I could not see if this van had a vehicle number on it.

I have seen this vehicle many times in the past with similar unsafe driving.

I had my windshield replaced on my Jeep Cherokee, and the techs left broken glass and pieces of rubber all over the seats, hood and driveway.

also, the left glue streaks on the windshield. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. Getting ahold of them to file a complaint is impossible. Will never use them again and will warn everyone I know to avoid them.

I had an appointment at your safelite center located at 3070 business park drive. the complaint is after waiting 3-4 hours for my replacement the windshield that they installed was damaged than I had to wait 2-3 more weeks for them to come to more home and

Next time I would not let Geico send my car to Safelite. Such waste of time "because calibration" required took 3 hours. They stop working for the employees lunch...... And the customers at their lobby waiting for the job to be finished ...

Last time they work on my Mercedes Benz windshield water leaks all the time with rain. They claimed it was the car and not the windshield... I am not coming back here...

My appointment has been rescheduled again due to the wrong windshield being brought to replace, this has happened a couple of times now, not counting the appointment that had to be rescheduled due to the one that was brought to replace was cracked.. I have been waiting for over 6 months to get my windshield replaced and I just feel hopeless.

I have another appointment scheduled for April 28th at 8am.. I am just hoping it is the right windshield and will finally be resolved. Could I get a discount or maybe even just some reassurance that it will be the correct product and will be taken care of?

They are always so nice, but I called and confirmed each time to make sure it was right, and the wrong one has been brought again and again.

I had a chip repaired on my windshield through my insurance, GEICO. Repair was done incorrectly as resin did not fill entire chip. I told technician the repair didn't seem right. He said it 'should be fine'. I wasn't satisfied so I called another technician from Safelite to take a look the same day.

He said the repair wasn't done right and likely won't hold, but nothing can be done once the repair is made. He said - 'well I guess you will know once the temperatures change'. Well, 5 months later I have a huge crack from end of my windshield to the other.

Neither Safelite nor Geico will do anything so now I am out $500 (my deductible) to replace the windshield. Do not use - don't stand behind their work!

Can not get a mobile truck to come fix my windshield when I'm stranded with a busted windshield. Your commercials state that you will come out and fix or replace windshield were ever. This is a insurance claim through direct insurance.

Had an appointment scheduled at the oklahoma city office which is a 2 and a half hour drive. During our travel, we came across an accident which caused a delay. Knowing we would be about 15 minutes late due to this delay I called the customer service line and reported it, was told it would not be a problem.

When we arrived and being 17 minutes late, I was told we would have to reschedule. I informed the woman that I had called to report it and that I drove a long way she said there was no record of it and went to talk to the manager. very rudely.

I had a 10:30am appointment that was made 2 weeks ago at Safelight-Austin on Howard Road location to replace and calibrate the front windshield of my Cadillac XTS on 03/16/2021. The weather was overcast and the road a little damp.

I took off from work to get my window replace. They Call Me 2 minutes before my schedule appointment to tell me that is going to have to be rescheduled because the part that was scheduled to be here on today won't be here until 3 to 4 days later.

I asked the lady for a discount because that puts me in a bind and she told me I couldn't get one because I already had one, which I went and found myself online. So now I took a whole day of work for nothing.

I will be reporting does complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well

I scheduled a windshield at my Maine vacation home for this morning between 8 am and 12 pm. I called BOTH Amica insurance Glass Claims AND Safelite to confirm the appointment. In addition I received a text from Safelite last night saying ' We will see you in the morning !! ' However at exactly 8am they called to say due to the Covid no one was coming and I would have to bring the car 3 hours away to have the windshield done....This is contrary to their TV ads, and their communications with me . They KNEW long before my appt that their service people were not coming, and they should have advised me of that.

On 3-13-20 I found I had a cracked windshield on 2013 Lincoln MKS. Called Progressive ins and they recommended Safelite and connected me to Safelite at 1265 Purchase St New Bedford. They informed me that I would have it replaced the following day, on 3-14-20 between 12 and 5 pm.

Shaun was my installer and was courteous and competent. I was a happy customer. On 3-17-20 I took the car in the rain and discovered the windshield wipers were not working correctly. This car has multi position switch. Off . Rain sensing. Slow intermittent. Medium intermittent . High intermittent.

I am extremely upset, i scheduled a windshield replacement at 1:30 today saturday, February 29, 2020. They call me 10 minutes before I arrive to tell me they did not have my windshield and would have to reschedule. I drove all the way from Lancaster,SC to Concord, NC, which is almost 2 hours.

This is very unprofessional, unacceptable, unreliable service. I wasted my time and gas and i am just very disappointed in your service.

I had appointment with safelite today Tuesday, 10-8-19, hours 1-6pm. I have been waiting all afternoon. No one showed, no called, it's after 6pm and I;m unable to reach ANYONE. There is not a 24 hour number, every number telling me office are closed and called back in the morning WO# 01812-860204 I am stuck at home, unable to drive my car because i'm afraid I will get a ticket for broken windshield on driver's side.

Ongoing inappropriate parking at Pooler Plaza (Pooler GA) by Safelite employees. Safelite employees continue to park customer and company vehicles in inappropriate places, even in areas clearly marked as "no parking between signs". Yesterday, when asked to move an Estes Semi the Safelite's district manager in charge denied any responsibility for the truck.

The truck was nearly towed, but instead I called Estes national headquarters in VA about the matter. It was considered that the truck might have been stolen. Estes removed the truck. This morning a Safelite vehicle is parked in the same location!!!

The entire story will not fit in this space, but someone at Safelite Corporate should call me at 912-704-0294 ... ASAP ... escalates

If I could give a negative rating, I would. On 07/18/19, safelite came out to repair a rock chip in my windshield. It was a day that was over 100 degrees outside. My car sits out site in an employee parking lot.

The technician cam around 2:00 in the afternoon, which is during the hottest time of the day. He was very hesitant to work on the vehicle and stated I might see some imperfections still. He did not warn me doing the repair in this heat might cause the window to be further damaged.

He proceeded to do the repair. He asked for me to leave the car unlocked. I said no, I am staying here. He then proceeded to fix my chip. He was having a hard time getting the equipment to stay onto the windshield.

He finally was able to get the equipment on and dropped the resin down in the hole. Once…

My insurance company pushes Safelite. I called to set up an appointment for a cracked windshield. It took a ridiculous amount of time with cancelled appointments for a damaged replacement, a delay in the the replacements replacement. A cancelled appointment at the dealership for the necessary recalibration to be done.

After a week I finally got an appointment, after 2 hours I was told by the technician that “good news” I would not have to bring it in to the dealership for the recalibration- he could do it in-house(yay). But I was in for a surprise, he actually couldn’t do the recalibration; failed test (several attempts).

I called the dealership and begged, yes begged to have my car looked at. The dealership told me to bring it in, but I would need to wait until someone had time. I’m now…

I had a appointment today between 8-12 and was told he was in Jamestown NY and it looked like rain my father lives in Jamestown and said it's very sunny out no cloud in the sky and I live in Fredonia by and he would have to get to my mother's windshield next week !!

They did a horrible job on my windsheild replacement. Parts removed from my car, not replaced. Poor workmanship. I had an independent body shop inspect the car. They agreed that the windshield was very poorly installed. I then drove the car to the Safelite shop and had the manager inspect the workmanship.

He noted the poor workmanship, but completely tap danced about fixing it correctly How do I contact corporate headquarters about this? I definitely am not going to let this matter drop. I do not want this Safelite location doing any further repairs .

I want an independent installer or another Safelite. I certainly don't appreciate the brush off attitude of the manager.

I submitted my complaint via online early this morning and have not heard back. , as I was traveling to work, I first encountered one of your vans (#18224) driven by a driver whom I strongly suggest you have tested for alcohol and/or illicit drug consumption.

This driver was driving on the twin span in Slidell, LA at an extreme high rate of speed, causing other drivers to immediately switch lanes in order to avoid collisions. The twin span is over a large body of water.

As a result, by the grace of God, this driver, who was driving erratically, as though he was impaired, could have easily caused others to land in the lake.

I went in to Safelite to have one chip repaired. The repair person saw another small chip that was not splintered and decided to fix it too. The finished product of making the small chip splinter and the original chip was a crappy job as well.

When I called back to complain and to have it fixed I was told there was noting more they could do I would have to replace the windshield completely. Is safelite going to pay for a new windshield? It was just poor workmanship and I didn't even asked to have the small chip repaired.

It's right in my vision line so now I'm worse off then before. If the repair person can't do it right then e should have said so. The small chip is now splintered and it wasn't before. I want this fixed.

Someone from your facility had my car towed from your facility located at 1306 s. University Little Rock Arkansas on May 24th and I feel it was unjustified. I had my dodge pickup truck towed there on May 12th because it needed a back window put in and I was told that they would look at it and order the window and give me a call.

I received a call from someone there letting me know that my truck was blocking two lanes and i needed to come up there and correct it. When I went to move it a few days later i found out they had it towed.

Been trying to have a window replaced since 4-26-19. I can handle the window not being able to be found by Safelite bc you only allow to go to certain vendors but I cant stand being drug around and miscommunication.

I was told on 5/30/19 that my window was in transit and today being told they couldn’t find a window. This has been going in for 5 weeks. The wrong window/wrong tint was delivered at week 1 then rescheduled only to be cancelled on.

Your customer service stinks and I will never use your company again!!

After a turkey tookout my windshield - car undriveable, on Fri 19th Apr, was told that a new windshield could not be replaced until Mon due to the holiday weekend. [2016 Ram 1500] Monday at 3:30 pm still hadn't heard from Safelite, so I called the local office.

" After I complained that this was my work truck, and I had already lost 3 days work, the lady told me she would try get the other guy to come out.... No more call received. Called Safelite Executive Services to complain.

They said that an email had been sent stating my windshield would be fixed on Mon 29th. I said that that was unacceptable and I would have never have agreed to that, at the time of the first claim call, Fri 19th.

My insurance company is USAA. They told me I had to call safelight for a windshield replacement. I called safelight and was transferred three times. Then when I reached the USAA claims service the lady was EXTREMELY rude. How can you have a claim number when you haven't even called us yet?

She continued to be condescending and rude until I finally hung up and called USAA to say I will never deal with them again!!! Unbelievable!!! The time/date of the call was 4/12/19 a little after 9:10am CST. PLEASE listen to the recording of that call Safelight Corporate.

I had an appointment window between noon and 5pm today. I was told the technician would give me a call around noon with a more specific time. I did not get a call so I ended up calling at 4:40pm. I was told the technician's work phone was not working so they were going to reach out to the technician's manager so they could call the technician on her personal cell phone. I ended up getting a call from the technician on her personal phone about ten minutes later saying she was just made aware of my order a few minutes ago and that it would take her about 40 minutes to get to me. (Mind you that would put her at my house around 5:30.

I took my 2012 Toyota FJ cruiser to Safelite in Williamsburg, Va on December 4th to have a new windshield installed. I had to have this done in their shop because the top molding has to be replaced with the windshield.

I was there approximately 2 hours, and part of the time was to do a walk around the vehicle to inspect for any kind of damage. The technician noted that the rubber seal on the bottom of the radio antenna was a little dry rotted.

I work rotating shift and was starting midnight shift that night, so when the windshield was done I paid for it and left to go and get some sleep. I don't drive this vehicle as a daily driver, it has only 42,000 miles on it and I purchased it new.

I scheduled appointment for Wednesday 11/21/18 and the Safelite guy called At 11:07 to tell me he would be there after 5:00 pm to replace windshield knowing I don’t have a garage or lighted place to put car. So he call me again at 545 pm to ask me if I had a lighted place to put car and unless he doesn’t know we have to put that on the report to get window fixed????

So he apologized and asked me what would be a good day to come back and I said anytime Friday and he said ok. Then he called me back at 552 and said that wasn’t going to work they were booked and ask me for another day and I didn’t have another day because my daughter was going back to college with car!

I feel I should have been 1st on the Friday list seeing he put me off, very upset and won’t ever use Safelite again!!!!!

I had the windshield on my 2016 Subaru Outback replaced on August 27, 2018. Since then when the windshield is wet and I use the wipers there is a disturbing "design" remaining on the windshield that is quite annoying when driving after dark.

The local Safelite shop here in Butler, PA tells me that it is residue from the car wash. I have a problem with that diagnosis. Why doesn't it appear on my other windows and why did this not happen to the windshield that was replaced and why did this never happen to any of the other 5 or 6 vehicles I have owned and run through the car wash.

The Safelite shop here in Butler scraped some of whatever it is but that did not solve the problem 100%. I find it hard to believe that the warranty does not cover what seems to be a flaw in the glass.

verified this with my salesperson at the dealership, Chad Stackhouse, despite this the repair was attempted which caused my windshield to crack all the way & now had to be replaced completely according to the repairman. Made an appt for today 8 to 12. When I made the appt. the woman verified that I had a garage as it was going to rain. NO SHOW. I called at 12:30 and was told the work was not scheduled.

Asked to speak to a supervisor (Guy) was not in his office. Waited until 2 PM no call back. Called my insurance company and complained. Received a call from a woman and she scheduled an appt for the next morning.

She called back and offered the replacement for today between 3 and 4. I said ok. At 4:30 I received a call from Carlos that he would be here between 5:30 and 6:00. I said that doesn't work and I cancelled my order.

I am have a disability. The lady Cynthia at the Satellite location at 20th Drive was not welcome. She was very rude to me. She was not willing to assist at first. She so rude to me for no reason. I had an appointment.

She said it was not in there system. I was on time. The mess up on my appointment. Be careful they are not nice to people with disability.

Work order 01907-721887. 1st visit - wrong glass 2nd visit - tech pried mirror apart breaking it, then informed me "I don't know how to do this, but we'll reschedule". 3rd visit - tech puts windshield in, says he doesn't know what to do about mirror.

Filled out survey and called no response. Now I have a Mercedes with no rearview mirror which annoys the hell out of me. It is obvious from the pry marks on the mirror housing this kid didn't know what he was doing. I am torqued.
