I go to the store @ 3900 Wadsworth Blvd. in Wheat Ridge. I like to go there often mainly because I like the Lucerne brand for dairy and cheese. I like the deals on those items. I also will browse the meat and produce depts.

With that being said, for one, the prices are unbelievably high in grocery and GM depts. My husband and myself used to work for Safeway, we did all of our shopping there. But since then, the prices have risen so high, that we had to choose shopping elsewhere.

Another issue that I have with Safeway is when I receive a coupon for a free item. If I don't go to pick that up within 2 days, it's unavailable. They stock only a certain quantity of the item, then the shelf is empty.

I guess that's what your protocol is? Along with sale items. Is that the way it's supposed to…

Hello Safeway Sunday evening I was shocked by what I witnessed at the Safeway Diamond Heights store in San Francisco. store. Check you cameras for a visual of what happened between 7:15 pm to 8:40 pm. There was a lot of commotion at the entrance by floral and self checkout.

A guy was apparently stealing and was caught. He was pretty much tackled and manhandled by the big and rather taller guy, Art. I went in to find out his name but didn't ask him what it was, I believe his name and the very tall security both wrestling with this guy and trying to take the stolen black cart full of merchandise from him. From my vantage point it appeared to me that they went outside of whatever your policy was and what should be acceptable. What I saw, to me, was unacceptable verbally and physically.

I was in the Shadle Walmart on Wellesley in Spokane Washington at 4 50 pm Saturday 4 13 24. I was looking for a specific item. A Safeway employee walked into the aisle. I said excuse me do u know where this item is. He ignored me.

I said do you work here? He said yes. I said do you know if you have any of this specific item. He said no. I said could you check? He said no. I said what is your name? He said Kenneth. orange or yellow vest.

My complaint is with the pharmacy dept in Safeway in Montrose Colorado. I had on going prescriptions with this pharmacy and consistently have some form of problem that arises with trying to fill my prescriptions. Getting those workers to actual do their job and use some common sense is nearly impossible.

They have failed to fill my prescriptions smoothly no matter how much interaction I put into helping the process to be less complicated! This comes by way of my contacting my doctors office staff, and contacting my insurance company to help the communications between them and the Pharmacy.

I have wasted so much time continually coming in and waiting only to be told there is some problem or some company policy that causes a conflict in filling my prescriptions. " They work harder at…

I was in there shopping not doing nothing wrong I had two employees follow me to make me uncomfortableand then a big black dude with a beard threatened to assault me he is also a employee I think any employee that threatens a customer when you're not doing nothing wrong is out of the question even if someone is doing wrong it should never threatened a customer. The store located at 2845 Alabama Ave SE in one of your most needed store for improvement, customer service sometimes is off but management of how it should be tan sucks , isle always empty , lines are long .. never stocked like other Safeways .

I frequent this store for convenience and I am now disabled , I have bought spoiled food , so now I father travel by bus to 415 15 th street SE , why our neighbor hood store can’t look like that . There are never any carts for your groceries

Hello how are you, yes this is a a customer service complaint on a Safeway employee. On 10/18/23 at store # 3217 415 14 St SE I went to the deli department an request sliced cheese. I ask employee Chris for a 1/2 pound of Mild Cheddar cheese.

I asked if him if he didn't mind if he could put thin sheets of paper between each slice. He Replied to me, "NO DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY OF SLICES OF SHEETS THAT WOULD TAKE",?! I then asked him isn't that about of his job description because the cheese I was purchased flakes apart easily making it unuseable and 1 Big crumb flaky mess.

The Sushi employees at the Wailuku Safeway looks so ghetto, unprofessional (Wearing jewelry and ear buds) and with a bad attitude. Every time when I come in around 3p the food looks old and dried out. So when I asked if they can make more noodles or fried rice, they refuse to make it.

They said they’re closing and not cooking anymore. And as for the sushi, the rice is hard and need more varieties. And they need to learn how to wash their hands after sneezing and change their gloves after touch something else and continue making sushi.

My complaint is about the pharmacy at the Ballard Safeway store on Market St. And 15th Avenue in Seattle. It has to do with their incompetence and one employee's rudeness.

I recently switched my prescriptions to this pharmacy when my Bartell's closed. My first experience went fine. But about a month ago I needed to refill my prescription for Ropinirole ER that I take for restless leg syndrome. My doctor had sent the prescription, but when I went to pick it up they said they had none in stock and couldn't get it until the next day. I was completely out, and when I don't take this medication it's a nightmare, with muscle spasms that keep me awake all night. The woman who helped me was apologetic, and called until she found another Safeway that had the medication in stock--so I drove across…

The most unfriendly Safeway I have ever been in! The people who appear to be managers are the worst, no eye contact, no verbal interaction at all, on multiple occasions. Long lines at check out while managers just stand there??? Over seeing the self checkout that people rarely use? No baggers ? Carts of items for restocking setting in almost every isle, on any day and time of the week. Store sucks!

At entrance yellow onions in bag marked 99 cents ea. Next to bags of large Russet potatoes marked 99 cents a lb. We got the yellow onions thinking the bag was 99 cents but the cashier rang it up as 99 cents per onion, not even 99 cents per pound.

I complained to the manager but he said he would not honor the listed price. He kept saying 99 cents per pound and it was priced 99 cents per bag. The manager was very rude and his assistant manager was worse, he knew he was wrong but would not honor the price.

I was shopping at the Safeway at 64th and Scott Rd (120 St) Delta. I have shopped there since it opened 40 years ago.

As a senior citizen, I am tired of being ignored and rushed through the checkout.

Today, I tried to use my debit card - only to find I had a different step to follow before indicating which account I preferred to use. The cashier was busy chatting to the customer behind me when I asked to have assistance in completing my information. She took my debit card and simply used the fast process -- I noticed this and said ,:That's not what I wanted to do. You used my checking account and I wanted my savings account". The cashier totally ignored me and opened the till to give me the receipt and Lotto tickets.

I received very poor customer service at the Safeway in the town of Monte Vista, Colorado. My husband and I went to the Deli department where a very unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful employee, by the name of Catarina, made our visit unpleasant.

She talked to us in a way that made us feel like it was an inconvenience to help us and had a very VERY bad attitude. Will not shop at the Deli here again.

Why is it that your computers never have the current digital coupons working? I always shop the coupons and find that I must stand and review my receipt like today for errors. Yep, there were errors today. 00.

Also, discounted items on the shelf not part of the coupons were not properly showing up on my receipt. It seemed a small issue to ask for fifty-three cents back on a discounted item that didn’t show up correctly. ) time to issue minuscule refunds.

How many other customers are so exasperated and don’t pursue this and get ripped off? so they are dead to me, I won't go there unless forced to. Almost every time I try to use app for sale items it does no give me everything I select. Went in late to pick up a few sale items. I had to ring a bell for cashier. I saw her behind boxes and said oh there you are.

So had a sour look on her face. I had to keep showing her the item was on sale and I checked it. She said it was certain flavors of ice cream. It did not say limited flavors. Then after check out the steaks on sale did not also come up.

She called another women to help me and the problem was resolved. I feel the checker was so rude and no one apologized. This is not the first time for this app not working correctly. I have been in in the day and checkers say this happen all the time and have been very friendly.

The produce section was a mess, with wooden pallets on the floor, big boxes everywhere and delivery carts in front of the displays, blocking the aisle. The floors were filthy, I couldn't find prices on things, and the stock was very low.

The milk department smelled sour, like it has for years and the bakery section was in terrible shape too, plus ithe store is a dark and depressing space.. , is clean, bright, organized and the help is incredibly nice and helpful too?

I live closer to the store in Annapolis, but I usually avoid it, if I can. While the property is located in front of a low income neighborhood, the rest of the city is quite affluent.

Re: Andronico's Community Market, 1550 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94709 I have shopped for many years at Andronico's (25 years). This week, I bought a prepared soup under the "Signature" label. It was a Baked Potato Soup. We had it for dinner, and my husband got sick that night.

Apparently, the soup had expired almost three weeks ago. He mentioned to me a similar experience with Emmenthal Cheese from the same store. It had been packaged quite a while ago but was still being sold, and he said it was moldy on the bottom.

Could you please speak to the manager of the store about this ? They need to be checking the expiration dates on items in that section -- prepared soups, and cheeses. Thank you for your attention to this.

45th. We where told everything would automatically transfer to the store at 7340 35th Ave NE. when the store closed for take-down ! e. supplies for testing blood glucose for diabetes 2) and nobody was available to help. Phones didn't get answered and orders wouldn't go through automatically.

Your call for the takeover at another store is totally unacceptable. the advanced planning was not there and ignored. At the store on 35th they are overwhelmed and the young new help finally hired, is inexperienced and confused. Your call from the headquarters and board are hurting the reputation of SAFEWAY .

I hope you hear from many other dissatisfied customers because I know I am not alone !!

Come on. Long time customer. Went through self checkout with 5 small items. Employee followed me watched me and my every move,with arms crossed. Even after I paid, put receipt in my purse her eyes followed me. I almost asked if she needed to see my recript but didnt want to sound defensive.

I felt shaken, harrassed by her shadowing me. You really don't need to treat every self checkout customer like a thief. Some of us are probably more sensitive than the employees. Scared to go back alone. Why, I wondered is she doing this???

I will never use self check out again. I am sensitive to doing anything illegal. I love law and order. I am a great grandma, an example to my family for doing what's right Shame on you for hiring someone so unable to see good.

although this was the ONLY lane open at 4:02pm with 8 customers behind me. My complaint is that the checker was VERY slow in scanning my items and slowly sliding them to me for ME to bag.

Finally another young man, approximately 18 years old showed up to assist myself and my girlfriend to bag our items. To my surprise the guy who arrived to bad our items was just as slow, if not slower than the cashier was.

I was just shopping at the Safeway in Castle Rock, CO (on Perry Street), at about 1:45 PM. I took my purchases to one of the registers to ring up and pay. 00, which (as usual) I wrote a check for.

The clerk tried to clear the check three times, but the machine wouldn't approve it. A supervisor was called to determine the problem. " This is news to me. I have never had a bad check in my life, anywhere (I'm 64).

I have never been informed by anyone that my bank account or check writing was limited. In fact, I wrote a check at the same Safeway six days ago (on 8/10) with no problems. I mentioned this to the supervisor and she pretty much just shrugged.

At this point, I abandoned my groceries and left…

I brought a garden salad and the salad was old when I opened it. I thought it was just too cold so when I went for it again. The lettuce were wet and old. This was the store in the Fillmore center, San Francisco

3 employees at Safeway in Port Angeles were talking amongst themselves about me as I was shopping I was in Safeway for about 15 min. watch what I was doing I didn't hear the rest they started laughing amongst themselves.

While in your store last night I was in line with just a few items. The line I was in was busy with only one checker who was getting them done as fast as she could then there was a another lady ( Amber) who was just standing there not doing anything.

I ordered grocery delivery online & 1/2 the order was missing. I contacted Customer Service immediately and they were ADAMANT there was no possibility re-delivery of the missing items until the following day. In the interim I ordered from Mollie Stone's in SF as I was having people over for dinner and it was mainly produce, cheese etc. I was promised a refund of $52.18 of a $150.74 order. This was on 7/7. I've got nothing after numerous (and I mean 20x) contacts w/ promises of a refund.

Do not believe a word they say until the $ are refunded to your account.

Your newport store over charged me AGAIN. It took 15 minutes to locate night manager who was very rude. 00 . They have to manually override most sales items because computer is wrong. This is not a once off mistake and not the cashiers fault it is just a way of stealing from customers.

I am going to report this to who ever over looks your business practices and start posting where ever and when ever possible to let other customers know they are overcharged every time they shop at newport washington store. I am very angry!

The Safeway gift cards have a font that is way too small to locate them in the mass of the other gift cards. It was one the cards that lists Albertsons and other grocery stores. I had to ask if there were Safeway gift cards.

She said yes and sent me back. Thankfully she came over and pointed to them.

Also, one of the male workers shook his head at the cap I was wearing. It was an American flag cap- no words. (I quit shopping there when I was policed by staff and others to go one way down the aisles.

Backtracking not allowed while trying to locate something and had to go all the way around. Never did find the oatmeal after it had been moved).

I Visit the Safeways in San Francisco ca, particularly your stores on Jackson st and king st and for the last two months the stores have not been stocked the items I usually shop for are not available which is frustrating because I get off work kinda late in the evening and those two locations are open.

So with that being said it’s inconvenient for me because most of what I purchase is not available s few items are available at one store and not the other but why must I venture out to two stores of same to cover what I need. Thanks for listening.

I went to get weekly groceries from store at 51st and baseline last evening. No shopping carts. Advertised eggs were out of stock. I asked if they would substitute 12 CT for 18ct and Key Manager Dan refused. I asked for a rain check and Dan refused.

I left everything and went to Kroger across the street and got everything needed. I have been shopping Safeway for over 50 years in 3 states and this was the worst experience ever. Employees should be reminded that customers pay their wages.

I am having a real hard time shopping. There is no baskets. Can we bring the baskets back. If you want a basket go to customer service leave your keys and you will get a basket. Please I am in a wheelchair and I am in chronic pain.

This happened last week to my daughter and today to me. I ordered groceries this morning for pickup at 6:00 pm. At 7:40 I still got no clearance to pickup. I know they close at 8:00 I’m handicapped and use a walker.

I called and asked what my options are as tomorrow is July 4th and I’m guessing my order won’t be ready by then. The assistant manager explained they had a lot of “flash orders” and staff not show up. NOT MY PROBLEM Safeway!

The assistant manager is currently trying to get my order together and tells me to come at 8:30. Kudos to him but really. I’m thinking of changing stores. I just moved here and this has happened twice! Please don’t tell me every store is different.

I’m been shopping at this Safeway for almost four years. I have NEVER in all sixty years of shopping at Safeway ever been treated so rude with absolutely no respect. Every single one of them will absolutely make it known that you are inconveniencing them.

They will make you wait and pretend there doing something else and then close the customer service for the rest of the day. I have never complained about anything at any grocery store in my life but I’m going to start now.

The Safeway I go to the customer service department closes at different times everyday. You never now how long they’ll be open. I’ve waited in line with just me or maybe two other people for at least twenty minutes or more and then close and didn’t even tell you.

Hello. I am a frequent shopper at the Safeway store located at 310 W. Front Street Butte Mt. In my numerous trips at this store I have observed the front end manager, her name is Dorie ridiculing and reprimand the cashier for mistakes in front of customers.

Behavior like this is unprofessional for a customer service manager. Not to mention embarrassing and humiliating on the employee themselves. As I mentioned before I have personally witnessed this behavior from her on numerous occasions. If the employee has done something wrong, or made a mistake she should talk with them privately, not in front of co-workers and customers.

Safeway on Forest Dr. Annapolis Md. 21401 This store is consistently understocked and unacceptable fruit and vegetables. Poor store management. It is filthy. This is not new! It has been like this along time. I loved this store when it first opened however things have changed dramatically.

The Giant Food store a few miles away is always packed and always stocked. I believe I know why people are choosing this over Safeway. This Safeway store is in a great location. It's a shame. Many of my neighbors have also stopped buying at Safeway for these same reasons.

Just came from your Green Valley location, I don’t think I’ll be back…after spending a fair amount of money, I was not treating with a smile, a hello…nothing…Your clerk Landen…never acknowledged me. 1. He would not remove an item I changed my mind on as coupon I clicked on was not working

2. He would not put my items in my bags

Where is the customer service and what was this employees issue?

He appeared to not like his job and a senior at that. Bad attitude.

I also notice you have specials to get people in but digital coupons never seem to Checkers in the past can can never tell me why they don’t work but one did tell me this was design.
