Rude cashier at rge Safeway in Apache Junction' AZ 85120.

Went to pickup my prescription and offered my Gold RX as a means of reducing my cost. The cashier told me that it might not work and I said then we could edit Gold RX to adjust the pricing. She then proceeded to to tell me respectively I have entered the Gold RX numbers and that there are people waiting. ( 1 person behind me) I believe that person needs to be trained properly. The pharmacy is a service that I choose to use. It is not a convenience for the cashier to push anyone out of the way to service the next in line. Happened Friday June 16th approximately around 9:40 am. I shop there for groceries, bank and use that Pharmacy. Please find someone to be a cashier that understands customer service.

Safeway is the best store around,but today we encountered the rudest cashier I've ever seen. His name is Keith Funstin. we did tell the manager about his horrible behavior. You can tell he really hates his job and the customers who he encounters.

He needs a good talking to.

a regular shopper at s=Safeway for over 15 years and over the last 6 months I have repeatedly had the worst experiences of my life. I have purchased prepared Caesar salads containing brown lettuce, baked goods that were dry and waited for up to 15 minutes for an associate to unlock the liquor shelves.

I have not reported these instances as I wanted to give Safeway a chance to do better, but now I see that Safeway has no intention of providing quality products at a fair price. I am writing to say I will never shop at Safeway again and I don't know how you continue to deliver such poor quality at high prices.

I don't understand how you can operate thinking your customers don't deserve better.

I experienced the worst customer service ever at Safeway today. I was unaware that the deli closed at a certain time (no sign of hours). Two employees were there and left me standing there until I spoke up asking were they closed.

And they both replied yea with their backs turned. Which was very rude to me since I’m a store manager of a retail store as well and would never have employees act as such. I told the manager but she seemed to not care.

And I’m not upset of them being closed but the fact they gave me eye contact and didn’t say anything.

I can’t believe a simple rain check not given. I drove 7 miles to grocery store and they were out of the sale strawberries. Buy 2 pounds get one free. I asked for a rain check. The”so called manager” had to go ask the produce manager… and since he said the shipment would be in tomorrow they wouldn’t write me a rain check.

I don’t see the logic or the “ customer service” in that sort of response. When I said it made nonsense. She said. If I write one for you I would have to do it for everyone. There were only a couple people around.

Not everyone is buying sale strawberries. I then called a customer service number. She told me she would have to refer me back to the store. Like that would help.. because it is up to each stores discretion whether they write one.

What happened to good old…

I went to the Safeway off Murray and Allen. I went to the deli and the new guy was alone the associate training him was there n the back eating and then he came out front I saw him pick his nose.

Never washed his hands . Wasn’t training the deli clerk very well . I don’t the guy name cause they don’t wear name tags. Young man, been there for three years with dark hair . It was on June first around 230 pm .

, Superior,Co today May 30 at approximately 3:00 pm . I had to checkout threw self checkout because NO cashiers were open. The male employee, a bigger figure guy with NO name tag, that is always at self checkout was there.

I was scanning my 4 items and he comes over and stands over me watching me like I was gonna not scan something. He was maybe 6 inches from my body and all of a sudden I look at him with a look of "GET OUT OF MY SPACE" He then takes his right hand and rubs his crotch and smiles at me.

I was so upset that I almost told him to get away from me and STOP staring at me but I didn't want to cause a argument with him. Every time that I shop at this location he ALWAYS stares at me.

Your manager needs to have a talk with him and tell…

I use the generic form of suboxine, for chronic pain as I have MD and Transverse Myelitis. I am wheelchair bound with a trach. Twice in a row now not only has Safeway been completely out of my medication I rely on, but they did not inform me that they would not be able to fill it until I myself went to find out why I had not received notice that it was ready for pick up.

I absolutely can not go without this medicine, even for one day! This is a pharmacy, they should never be out, much less NOT notify the customer in time for that person to have their Dr. call the rx into another pharmacy!

The fact that Safeway will NOT even transfer a rx is absolutely ridiculous, as well!

While I was in self check out in a hurry to pay for my stuff a worker came up beside me and started filling out the survey on the pin pad for me. She didn’t say hi, or what she was going to do she just came up beside me and marked 10 for all sections.

I found if extremely rude. If she would have just asked me to do it or even explained that she could do it for me I would have been completely okay with it. But the fact that she didn’t say not one word to me upset me completely.

The manager, or so he said, not wearing a name tag, told me in a very curt tone he’d get to me and just wait. I had an issue with self checkout and was there for several minutes. Another customer had issue with the self checkout, too, and stopped him to help him first.

If your employee hadn’t been so rude I would have waited but he didn’t seem to appreciate it when I told him he should help me since I had been there longer than I should have. This incident happened at the HUB location in Fremont at approximately 2050.

The restroom was disgusting…..used hand towels all over the floor, some wet, some dry….. why put the hand towels across from the sink so everyone who washes her hands, drips the water across the floor…js Floor filthy

I don’t use the restroom often and when I used it last time, I mentioned it to the service desk that it was in need of some TLC….

We went to Safeway on 24rh & Nobhill Blvd , Yakima, WA to buy flowers for Mother's Day...the Hispanic music was blaring so loud we couldn't hear each other talk about the roses...it wasn't appropriate for the place or time! It wasn't Cinco de mio...not Mexico, but Washinton ...we turned and left, very disappointed because we always buy our flowers at that store. Just wanted to bring this up, very unhappy customers.

Employee not aware of Friday special. Deli Department not being prepared for Friday 5pm dinner options such as Jo Jo’s to go with chicken not having both chicken options available when canceled order for chicken because not having total meal that I wanted he turned around and said WOW insolent. I do not like shopping at this store things like this are to frequent there are other options.

Extremely rude pharmacy worker at store number #3136 saying my personal information loud enough for everyone to hear when it is sensitive. Her description is that of an elderly white woman. I've had multiple messages saying my prescription was ready to be picked up and she argued every step of the way telling me to just come back tomorrow.

Your digital ad system and in-store computer systems are a total disaster...

The digital ad system fails on every level and it seems that you really only want to advertise low prices in order to get foot traffic through the stores...

Make it simple and operational or turn it off... Local store employees, cashiers, and managers are quick to admit they can't make it work either...

This failure is an insult to both your customers and your corporate image...

Seeing that you recently lost a lawsuit for apparently trying to cheat your customer base... you might want to act to improve your image.... but no sign of that yet...

Fix it... or lose your customer base... At this point, words won't do it... only action...

It was a Saturday night just before closing approximately 5 minutes I ran into the store to do my usual last minute shopping I made it to the canned food aisle where I picked up three cans of nalley chili and realize that I had more groceries than I had room for in my arms so I decided to go back to find a basket upon approaching the front of the store I asked an employee who I didn't know was the manager if I could use the car that was blocking the lane there since it was only 5 minutes till closing he immediately said no with a scale on his face and

said that I had no business being in there if I needed the car I pulled the car aside to walk past it so I could go out to their main lobby and grab another car which was at least a hundred feet away or more and they are getting ready to…

(1) I purchased $200 Amazon gift card at Safeway store 0767 in 4/20/23 and found it is fraud gift card. The claim code has been cut off and cannot redeem the $200. I went back to the same store around 11:am of 4/21/23.

The lady Neldim first told me to call Amazon fraud department and indicated it is not related to Safeway. (2) We randomly picked up 5 Amazon gift card in the store and found out 3 of them have the same issue.

The claim code has been cut off. The lady called 866-362-9035 fraud department of Amazon right away. We were told it will be processed in 3 to 5 business days to refund the $200 after the lady Neldin provided all informations including purchase date, time and gift card bar code to Amazon.

Sedona Safeway. Very poor customer service. Only one check out open. I was one of 12 carts full of groceries waiting. Asked for the manager. Expressed the issue, got all defensive with attitude said if I didn’t like it to leave.

This was after bakery , meat & produce department all negative and said I’m overworked. Not shopping there again , thought I’d let you know,

There was a total and complete mess in the entire store with large metal shelves on wheel in the middle of every isle. At check out 1 lane was open. There was a line clear to the back of the store.

1 checker came and said to o e person to come to the next line. When other customers came over she refused to Check them out. She said she was only there to help one person. She told everyone to go on back to the end of the line.

Which was at that point wrapped around to the pharmacy and across in front of the seafood counter. I’ve been going to this particular store for over 20 years. In the last year it has gotten progressively worse. I’ll be switching to King Soopers now.

When grocery shopping at the safeway located at 13023 NE Hwy 99 Vancouver, WA 98686, I was being followed by two employees, one of which was a PIC. She watched me pay for my groceries then continued to follow me outside the store and off the premises.

” I spoke to a manager who checked the footage and he ensured I paid for everything. This woman’s name is Riha and if Safeway cared about the customer service experience, she would be fired. This was an unprofessional and inappropriate way to approach such a situation and I felt very unsafe and an uncomfortable.

At the very least, I would appreciate if someone could train her properly to ensure that other customers at this location don’t have to endure this uncomfortable situation with this incompetent employee.

Your new online clipping process does not work properly. I was supposed to get Soleil water free blueberries were supposed to be .99c I paid 3.00 the coffee was supposed to have a dollar discount and other assorted discrepancies. Your IT people should take a look at the glitches.

I am writing to let you know my continued disappointment with the Safeway store at 13111 W Alameda Pkwy in Lakewood, CO . I do shop here when needed but the customer service and management is terrible and I try to shop elsewhere b/c of the poor service at this store.

You offer FedEx pickup at this store and I have stopped by 3x to try and retrieve my package with no success due to lack of staffing at the customer service desk. Today, Katrina was the manager and there and new I was waiting at CS for help with a FedEx pickup but she said it would be awhile before she could come to do package pickups as she had to fulfill grab and go orders.

Went to Safeway in Casa Grande at 8:30 am on April 14. Fridays mornings typically busy. Had a sizeable order and when I went to check out there were NO checkers. Went to service desk and was told the one checker was on BREAK! I told her I cannot do self checkout and need a checker. She reluctantly said to go to No 5 and she will come over. I went to No 5 and waited and a line formed behind me. Finally got checked out.

This is not first experience with a lack of checkers. I have made decision I will never go there again. It’s never a good experience. It appears store is poorly run and employees not happy to be there.

So you have lost a customer. This store needs to get its act together. And what’s with never having milk expect for the expensive designer brands?

I know that this will make absolutely no difference, but I feel compelled to let safeway corporate know that the people in estes park are very tired of getting ripped off. I just returned from sams club where I purchased fresher produce, and meats and poultry at a much cheaper price. Further my drive to loveland is Further enhanced by fuel which is 60 cents a gallon cheaper. If you read this I seriously hope that it matters.

It's not about your customer service. I bought Safeway select canned apricots to make a smoothie, as I had a couple of teeth pulled yesterday. Imagine my surprise and horror when I suddenly almost choked on a piece of apricot seed.

But that's not the worst part. the worst part is getting a sharp piece stuck in the hole where my tooth used to be. now it's bleeding profusely, and it's really stuck in there. But, it is Saturday, and there is no dentist open.

I have run out of the extra gauze my dentist gave me. I am in serious pain. My mouth is bleeding so bad it wrecked the shirt I am wearing.

Was going to buy a chinese express combo meal and the worker hardly put any chow mein in the meal. I asked the girl about it and said what’s going on you guys used to actually fill the container on the left side with chow mein. ” How is that?

99 you’d expect to get the meal container filled with the food you’re paying for. If you’ve never seen the container before it’s not even that big. The amount of chow mein they gave me is the amount I would give to a toddler.

27,2023 at the customer service desk, I ask in a nice voice Cecilia Real the worker there if she knew how to load money on my card and I'll show her my card and she told me that there's no pin pad on western union where I wanted my card to be load and I was telling her still in a good tone of voice that her other co worker knows how to do that coz I usually always going there and

doing that, but then she suddenly raise her voice and yelled me in front of many other customer she said to me get out of the line she is rude and unrestricted and not supposed to put in customer service desk coz she don't have a customer service relation.

At 1:37 pm today I received the wrong order. Driver took said order away. I called Safeway customer service and was told to wait until final order time (4 pm) and call back. NO order received. 00, and no order was received.

Was told I can re-order or cancel. , but what about my time and inconvenience…apparently Safeway has no back-up plans for Customers inconvenience. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY.

Price gouging

I just want to simply State Park shopping at Safeway for more than 30 years I am appalled at somebody’s extra price is put on certain basic food

One example has a simple loaf of Jewish rye bread it’s now almost 7 dollars , At least a dollar more than other stores.

Another example is a simple 2 L container of zero sugar A&W root beer ridiculous now three dollars, a dollar more than other stores

Simple bag of pretzels was 299 last week and now it’s 399 a one up 25% in one week. These prices are insane Frank Covich Chico California

I was picking up mediation from the pharmacy and realized I needed a gift card. Seeing there is a Starbucks kiost in store, waited 10 minutes while in store Starbucks personnel was on a break only to be informed that they didn't have any gift cards.

They directed me to a gift card kiosk that contined varous gift cards. I went to pay for the gift card in the self check out only to be informed that you can't pay for alcohol and gift cards in the self-service lines and was then directed to the cashier lanes of which only two were open.

) items line was not open and therefore I had to wait behind people that had a cart full of groceries. When I finally got up to the cashier, she was busy engaging with bagger and did not appear to be interested in helping me. Just don't know…

If I shop in person, I love Safeway best. If I have deliveries - I've always used the service through Giant. I finally switched to have Safeway deliveries and it's been extremely dissatisfying. My third delivery was late yesterday - and I literally received HALF my order. I find it impossible to believe that the store didn't have any bananas, romaine lettuce, cans of beans! I can understand being out of artichokes or specialty items........but this was ridiculous.

I'll be switching back to Giant foods for the time being. Lisa

I sent an email. It got bounced back telling me your mailbox is full.

You ran out of the Monday fried dark meat that was on sale two weeks in a row. Last week they did what they could. This week they did not do anything. You ran out by 1pm because the manager said you had a catering order. I don't care. I want mine. You should have baked more anticipationing the dinner rush. I was not offered a rain check. Get my guys the stuff they need to take care of me. I’m disabled it is tough for me to get to that store.

The team at that store has done a lot for me. I expect you to get them anything they need whether it is manpower, ingredients, etc.

I shop at Safeway almost everyday. I alway go on your app and down load specials. Almost every time I am charged full price. Lots of time I don’t check till I’m in the car or home. Went back in Monday had to wait 45 minutes for customer service. 00 gift card.

Today it was water and cheese and wine. 00 should of been taken off. I’m really fed up with it. I think I’m going to take my business elsewhere. I’m very frustrated with Safeway. Joy Swick

I am 77 years of age and use to shop safeway but no longer can I do that because since covid you have changed your coupons to digital and i. like a lot yes a lot of other people cannot do digital coupons.

I know my little amount of money's each month won't break you but I will not shop there again unless my little flyer starts carrying clip coupons again. Sad because I use to enjoy shopping there.

Just came back from a frustrating shopping trip to my local Safeway, where i've been shopping for 20 years. At the checkout I was asking whether i could get the "digital" coupon discount on the milk i purchased, without having a cell phone and the app.

I was denied even though i have an account (phone number) with the store. I guess there are now 2 levels of getting discounts for a customer and this is super annoying. I am a senior and am not good at using cell phones and downloading apps.

I feel this new "digital coupon" is a discrimination against elderly persons who are not as skilled in using apps as young people are. It almost seems predictable that the young professionals of Silicon Valley who are all well off, are getting the safeway discounts whereas the old folks are left…

I need someone to look into Donavon a manger at the Roxborough store in Littleton Colorado immediately. I have heard nothing but bad thing about him and his management “style”. From not being able to handle his stress, to putting call outs as NCNS, threatening after call out to write his cashiers off the schedule, etc.

This man needs to be looked at for his disgusting behavior and treatment to his cashiers. The photos I’ll attach is from a recent event of him doing this and he done this several times before.

No longer shopping at Safeway (5100 Broadway Highlands Ranch, CO) . Lazy, entitled, rude employees. No checkout stations ever open no matter what time you go. But always lots of employees standing around and talking or checking their phones. They are trying to force everyone into the self checkout area which usually has half the registers out of order.

The lines are usually longer than you would have at a staffed checkout register. I asked a manager if they could open a station and she shrugged and pointed at the self checkouts and walked away. A company completely out of control.

I'm am voting with my feet and going to King Sooper a few blocks way. Better selection, better produce. All checkout registers fully staffed and prices are about the same. should have changed years ago. Safeway…

Always try to be cheerful and never hurtful or harsh to the employees bit most are disrespectful and treat me as though I'm intruding on there space or time. It could be because of bad treatment by other customers but I feel as though I'm being beaten up just for shopping and going through the checkout line.

The management are the most self involved, disrespectful of all! It's the only grocery store in Chino Valley and they know it. Where is upper level management? It really is sad to see a big store so poorly managed. I'm 70 and feel uncomfortable every time I go in there!

I was a box boy at a Safeway in Anchorage Alaska in 1966 and would have been fired on the spot for being disrespectful. And all the checkers were all about the customers and made sure we were too. Times have changed!…
