On September 24, 2024 my luggage (confirmation number 2HTLFU)was taken at the gate by a Southwest employee and told there wasn't enough room for me to take my luggage on that I would receive it once I got to my location. Got to my location and it has been 2 weeks now, I have not received my luggage, and to make matters worse, a few days after flying out, Hurricane Helen destroyed my community back home.

I have 561,000 travel points with this company that I apparently can not use! A few months ago I tried to book a flight for one of my kids and found out my points were hacked. I called the company who assured me that I still had my points I just needed to send them a picture of my government issued ID.

I had my passport out so I sent that. I thought everything was taken care of. I booked a flight for my daughter, her son, her friend and her 2 sons. Put in everything needed for an international flight all passport information.

It took a long time! Get all the way through and it won’t take my payment. After 2 calls and an hour of hold time I finally talk to a human that said that my account was frozen because of possible hacking activity.

We were denied our flight because of our puppy. She is a mini Golden Doodle. There was a small (less the 1/2 inch tear) in her airline approved carrier. A supervisor was called due to the tear. My puppy had been given medication provided by my veterinarian to help her relax on the flight. By the time the supervisor approached us my puppy was very relaxed and sleeping. She took one look at my puppy and said you can board but she cannot fly. She stated the carrier was too small for her and we were being abusive and inhumane to our puppy. I was overan hour early to my flight paid extra at the last minute to upgrade. they scanned my ticket ans advised that there was a gate change and directed me to a different terminal on the otherside. when I got there they stated that I should be back where I was nd I missed my flight.

Why oh why do I pay extra to get an A boarding pass just to have an “open” seat Saved?? This has happened on my last three flights and I think it’s time Southwest kept their promise of “open” seating.

The flight attendants just smile a smirky smile as they seem to be told to do. Maybe if we all started moving our business SW would uphold their “open” seating policy. It is ridiculous when a passenger is 6’8” and the only extra leg room seat is “saved” with 23 people boarded, awaiting a C group 5’4” person.

Our flight was delayed leaving out of Charlotte, which was flying through BWI not a plane change. I called customers service 3 times to verify that the flight from BWI to DTW would be on time because our first leg was delayed.

The plane was not going to change. I was rudely treated by 3 different customer service representatives to the point of them yelling at me, I was told only a ticket agent could help me and to head to the airport.

So we arrive at the airport only to be told the second leg of the flight was cancelled and we could not get out for 7 hours at the earliest. If they would have told us this on the phone we could have avoided this mess altogether.

I am flying with 2 children to top it all off. Southwest Airlines do better.

I was on a flight from Charleston to Denver. m that night something is wrong with this!!!

First they blamed it on the weather but the whole time we was low on fuel and had to get fuel and then wait for Clarence because it was other planes ahead of us getting fuel!!! I don’t appreciate being Stuck somewhere on a plane for all those hours for Nothing that’s not fair to me.

On flight #855 on 4/12/23 I tried to use the restroom. I was close to front, it was busy so I went to back of plane. Full already. When I responded “I heard you” he turned around and had to tell other flight attendant I was “giving him trouble”!!

I was shocked by the disrespectful treatment-in front of all passengers! I do not fly too often, but when I do, I pay hundreds of $$$ and I am always respectful. I will NEVER USE SOUTHWEST AIRLINES AGAIN! As far as I’m concerned if they employ such “unfriendly flight attendants in the friendly skies”-count me out!!!

I have waited patiently to be refunded for a flight I booked for my daughter at Christmas, 12/2022. Due to your computer crash and thousands and thousands of people being stranded and unable to be home with their loved ones at CHRISTMAS, including my daughter.

My daughter filed the appropriate paperwork that they said was requested to receive a refund with no response and I have send several email without of course no response.

It was devastating enough for my daughter to be alone at Christmas and without her family, but now I can't even be refunded for the ticket BUT still keep getting bills from Southwest that I am expected to pay my credit card that I purchased the ticket from but was unable to use.

My next and only step is to contact an attorney to try and get this matter resolved…

Never graceful about delays. Would rather push a flight back nearly 3 hours and force people to miss connections and be forced for other arrangements to be made and rather than try and send out another crew to replace it. This airline is going down the drain fast.

Over one week period we had 4 flights from ORF to MCO via BWI. 3 were very poor. 1 delayed a late night flight 40 minutes for delivery of 2 bags with 100 customers. Another had frequent delays causing many travelers significant anxiety and missed flights.

Another delayed a flight 30 minutes because baggage loading had only one baggage loader unloading 2 large baggage cart.

This complaint involves employee ID 180499. Date February 21, flight 791 from St. Louis to Denver.

We were in line boarding when an older gentleman tried to board the plane out of order, he was under the impression that since he paid extra he would be able to board. The SW employee told him no that was not the case, but the gentleman was confused as to why he could not board yet. Instead of calmly explaining, the SW employee shouted at him and continued to loudly berate him for several minutes. He shouted to the gentleman that he has been an employee for over 20 years and he thinks he knows what the ticket states and when he should board. 2 kept pushing back with his back into my knees from the Atlanta throughout to Oakland Airport with the transfer of flight. I was unaware of this being he same passenger until we reached Oakland, Ca. When the apparently uncomfortable passenger mentioned I apparently kept pushing him off my knees due to his constant trying to recline his chair.

On the transfer to Oakland this patron was still trying to push his back on the seat, hurting me. I was booked on a flight from Salt lake City to oakland at 6pm on Dec 25. After a number of messages that the flight was delayed it was finally cancelled at midnight with the message that I would be booked on another flight. I booked a flight on Delta with Protection insurance "just in case" for Dec 26 for $254.59. After a 3 1/2 hold on the phone i finally reached someone who told me that since i had booked the flight with points they would refund the points and could book me on Dec. 30. This was not acceptable so I did return home on the Delta flight. on Dec 26. I expect SWA to reimburse me for this flight since obviously my SWA points were of no use on Delta.

My flight was delayed 2 hours and 10 minutes. This is a 50-60 minute flight from Burbank to SFO. It caused me to have to miss work because t h e flight got in so late my ride couldn’t pick me up.

I am a specialty RN-1st line responder with Covid @UCSF in the current Covid rise this is unacceptable. Is this how you would like to receive care. I get to you when I can. You have no idea how many people I had to call in favors from foe housing, transportation, meals etc.

We had problems both going and coming back from Hartford,Ct. on the trip out on Christmas Day there were problems getting a crew and then huge delays with the luggage. On our return we were in the BDL airport for 8 hours before finally returning to Chicago Midway.

Upon our arrival in Chicago we then had to wait almost two hours to retrieve our luggage. We were unable to drive home because of the late hour. I hope we can at least be compensated for our hotel room.

I feel that is the least you can do. I had not flown Southwest since 2010 and now I guess I can understand why. Southwest has been saying they are going to compensate their customers so I do hope they stand by their word.

On 12/14/22 I deplaned in Las Vegas from SW flt#438 from Atlanta, GA. The flight was a very pleasant one. " Needless to say I had to endure the long walk with my carryon and personal baggage to the other concourse to my other flight onto Reno (flt#3352).

This was too much stress on my body due to my medical conditions. I was just diagnosed with pneumonia, four days prior. Beside that I suffer from Asthma, Fibromyalgia, Osteoporosis, Spinal Stenosis and Neuropathy. This tedious, long walk irritated my lung condition and on my return to Atlanta had a medical appointed on Wednesday.

You have took so much from me and thousands of others with these cancellations. I have no clothes, toiletries, and my possessions because I was denied getting my luggage.

Horrible experience with this airline. Showed up for my 5:15am flight for them to tell us they didn’t have pilots or a crew for our plane. After about an hour delay we go to Las Vegas for my stop over to switch planes.

The same story here as the first stop. No pilots, no crews. Why would an airline sell flights and not have crews? It’s also not like this was sprung on them last minute I understand staffing shortages but this is just general incompetence.

Good evening and Merry Christmas, I booked a flight for my son to come home on 12/23 from Phoenix and that flight was cancelled. SWA rebooked his flight for this morning and that flight was also cancelled once he landed from Phoenix to Las Vegas.

So disappointing and your company been flying for years with you. Two days trying to get to Tahoe from San Diego waiting at the airport 11 hours on Friday flight 2529 December 23. Understand delays and issues but we were standing in line to board the plane and all of a sudden they come out and say there’s missing a pilot and two flight attendants.

Elderly passenger with daughter with Down syndrome. Southwest left our bags out in the rain. Upon arrival to Chicago, they delayed my daughters bag. Now they give me one choice to go back to airport to retrieve it myself. But will offer delivery to perfectly capable customers.

I’ve been loyal to southwest and even have their credit card. Unless a resolution is made, my company will be discontinuing all services and will make sure everyone hears about this.

I would like a refund for the cost of early bird check in yesterday on my flight from Nashville TN to Columbus OH, flight 2880. My position was A48. I encountered no fewer than 5 people who refused to let me sit because they were saving seats for other passengers.

The seats in front of where I ended up must have been in C because they were the last to enter the plain. There was no announcement about not saving seats nor was anyone present to say it wasn’t allowed.

I did NOT get to sit where I wanted because of seats being saved. Early bird does not truly exist and I want a refund. I will NEVER use this option again. I will attempt to cancel an early bird that I’ve paid for flight in January.

Just spoke to a Southwest Airlines customer representative by the name of Amy 83. I had told her that I do not have a middle name but she was persistent and informing me that there was a middle name or initial which I know I do not have, I have already submitted a screenshot of the legal documents from my local court stating that there is no middle name/initial in my name.

We were delayed on the tarmac for 2 1/2 hrs on a flight from Burbank ca. to Las Vegas, might I also add with an infant! Our flight attendant that was working at the back of the plane where we were sitting, was the absolute rudest person, let alone a flight attendant, I have ever encountered in my 72 years!!!

Southwest Airlines what happened this company? We had one bag not reach our destination. The bag arrived on the next flight 1 hour later. This happens no big deal. This issue is no one at the company seems to want to solve the problem. I have spoke to 4 different reps. Going on six hours later and I still do not have my bag? I am sure Southwest will read the complaint and send me a voucher. Which is worthless compared to the time and stress this causes my family when we are trying to enjoy a rare vacation.

I am learning the hard way to stop using this company. You get what you pay for which is sad because Southwest use to be so good with customer service.

Our last experience on SW was very disappointing and frustrating. We paid for Business Select on our flight in order to board early. Before Group A began boarding, more than 25 people boarding in a group "needing assistance, and their companions" boarded.

This same group,occupying the front of the plane, (mostly aisle seats), stood up and left the plane unassisted. We do not fly for business and cannot take an extra person free anytime desired, or rack up huge personal mileage from business travel.

We simply pay full price whenever we fly and feel that we are not getting what we pay for. I am frustrated that we paid to board early but many (not all) simply played the system for their benefit. " I know this person and know that this was untrue.

My wife and 2 young daughters (5, & 10) and I are currently sitting on flight 6523 with service from Denver to Miam (9/16/22). We are sitting in the very last row of the plane. There are 3 flight attendants, one black woman who is servicing the front of the plane and then there’s an Hispanic man and a large white woman servicing the rear. We haven’t had any contact with the attendant in front but she seems nice-she smiles a lot.

I was at Nashville Airport checking in curbside for a flight to New Orleans on August 11, 2022 when a female Southwest Employee announced "curbside check-in is tips only. If you do not want to pay a tip, you must go inside the terminal because tips are required outside."

I find this policy making tipping mandatory disturbing and unethical. I am asking SouthWest Airlines to look into this matter. I am also going to contact the appropriate Government agency to inquire about the legality of this.

My flight was canceled on 06 August 2022, #3615 without notification. I stood in line & presented my boarding pass to the agent & it was at that time I was informed that I could not get on that flight.

The flight was a connecting flight from FLL to ATL & then to MDW, no plane change . I was informed by the service rep that due to mechanical problems, the second leg of the flight was canceled. This made absolutely no sense considering the fact that we were not changing planes.

We were changed to another flight the next day without any notice & no accommodations. We requested an earlier flight & then placed on standby for an even earlier flight. We were able to get the last 2 seats leaving at 1345 on 06 August 2022.

On august 12,2022 my wife and I were flying from Las Vegas to bwi airport baltimore on flight 2699. The ramp attendant was extremely rude and very unprofessional. We were set to board in 10 minutes when another gentleman on our flight asked about boarding the ramp attendant replied Oh, your gate has been changed to C-11 I guess I forgot to tell everyone.

There were several people that needed wheelchair assistance and they were told to push themselves because no pushers were available when arriving at BWI we were told no pushers were available.

1st) When my bag come down the conveyor belt it was open on the side and my stuff was hanging out. I always make sure the zippers are at the top of the suitcase, that way I know if it was opened, both zippers were on the side. If you're going to search my bag at least put a note inside saying so and for heaven's sake, zip it back up like you found it. Because of this careless act, I lost a few items (comb, phone charger and vitamins) and my toothbrush holder looked like it had been drug along the runway.

My recent experience with Southwest Airlines was absolutely horrific. My son, mom and I were traveling from Burbank California to Atlanta. We were delayed in Burbank first in the terminal then on the plane. We were supposed to fly from Vegas to Atlanta.

Once in Vegas we were delayed several ties then rebooked on 3 separate flights leaving out the next day. After insisting that we had to fly together because my mother is elderly and sickly we were booked on a flight to Chicago where we had to stay up all night in morning in the airport before traveling into Birmingham Alabama.

We then had to rent a car and drive to Atlanta. Although I know the workers ae in no way at fault, the insensitivity was unbelievable. We were told that no accommodations would be given. They could not put us up in a…

Southwest Airlines employees attempted to break into my luggage, damaged it and are now REFUSING to take responsibility. They are saying my luggage was given to them damaged and I’m 2000% sure it was not. I’ve asked them to view the CAMERAS and they are refusing to do so.

Instead they are thanking me for being a Southwest MEMBER and nothing further.
