My experience from Store #2404-Manager: Sherry Olson, Seekonk, MA, 02771-Cashier: Jenna I was in line to pay for my groceries (4/30/24 @7:39pm), and I noticed that the cashier wasn't hearing me talking/asking questions/comments, I thought she was ignoring. Well, she was ignoring me since she was on the phone the entire time!

She had an ear phone piece and was able to hide it w/her long hair. Not only did I find it to be EXTREMELY RUDE, and a poor representation of the employees that represented your company, but I didn't even get my sale discounts!

I've been an avid customer for decades! Not only do I request the difference of my savings $, that I paid for, but I need store management to be more cognizant of the poor business practice from their employees!! I work for a bank, and my…

My friend works at store 17 the store manager he’s nothing but a bully germaphobe and ocd combined all he cares about cleaning not the employees he’s a bully to all the employees and doesn’t care about them at all. The pharmacy team @ your Bourne,MA 1 Trowbridge rd. Location has been considerably unkind and does not treat their patients as such. I've been talked to with no respect hung up upon, but most recently I've had an issue with filling prescriptions so much so I've had to call my insurance to call on my behalf as well as my Dr to get a proper response.

5 days ago my Dr authorized a refill yet o called today and they still haven't called my insurance for a simple override . What exactly has to be done for these employees of yours to just do their jobs and take it seriously and treat their patients with courtesy?..

I'm aghast and very upset that it's come to this. I have to transfer all my meds to another location.

I would like to say domething about the meat department from Stop&Shop in Wareh a m, MA. I bought two packages of stew beef, which I've had the same problem the time before when I bought stew beef from there.

It had so much fat on it both times. 99 a pound and it was disgusting to pay that price for what I got. Half of it was totally fatty. It also had pieces on the bottom of the package that I couldn't even use because it was all fat.

I paid over twenty dollars for this meat and was awful, the quality. I'm on social security and watch my budget. Wanted to make a good batch of beef stew and half was thrown out because I lottery had to cut off all the fat on the pieces.

Good morning, my name is Alycia York. I was notified yesterday 11/19 morning about a pick-up at a Dorchester, MA location. This order was not placed by me, after looking at my Cape Cod 5 debit account, my card had been used 13 times in the amount of $150-$300 over the past week. All at the same location. It appears my online account was hacked and orders were placed again not by me. One order was also placed with my master card jet blue card.

(I have actually been out of the country, not using my debit card, and had no reason to check my online bank account during this time. Thus the reason it was not seen on my end sooner)

I notified Cape Cod 5 and my card was shut down, also notified master card and Sandwich police.

I am no longer able to log into Stop and Shop online and it’s fine,…

The managers of the stop & shop Northampton violated the state constitution on November 11, 2023. Mike threatened an employee of mine with police action for simply exercising his rights under the Massachusetts Constitution article 48. There is very clear case law involving the very important role of signature gathering in our democratic process in the common wealth.

I have found Stop&Shop continually violates the law and consumers should understand. Make no mistake, privately owned shopping centers are considered public space - check out Batchelder V. Allied Stores International, Inc. 388 Mass. 2d 590 - this case dates back to 1983 and stop n shop STILL has not educated its management staff on the reality clearly layed out in case law and the state constitution.

Sunday October 1st at 8:50am. I used the coin star machine and when it was done counting my change a message appeared. It said don't worry your coins are safe but contact a partner for help. So I went to the service desk and when I asked for help I immediately got an attitude from the customer service worker named Arianna.

I said I just used the coin star machine and it told me to contact a partner for help. She rolled her eyes and sighed at me, huffed and said what the fuck under her breathe and also said I don't know how to work that machine.

She called her Supervisor I'm guessing whose name I believe was Anna and said there's a problem with the coin star machine. Then hung up turned to me and with an attitude once again and said she's going to be a while.

On 8/31/2023 than elderly woman named Stephanie who works for stop and shop had come out and began smoking a cigar while standing directly at the entrance to the store while doing so. My daughter had pulled up for me to get out and get my stuff out of the car when this woman had the nerve to storm up to me aggressively repeating over and over this is a fire lane Ty need to move the car.

Now anyone can see not only wasn’t I driving but that the car was going to move after I retrieved my things. I told her the car would be moving but in actuality she is the only fire hazard as well as health hazard out there considering how close to the building and the customer she is while smoking.

At the Stop and Shop located in Cross County, I experience the most nonsensical customer service, on 9/6/23. I have been going to this store for years, and across the city. Today, I went to the deli counter to place an order for cold cuts.

Prior to today, I have gone placed my order and went shopping. This store didn’t have the monitor to place the order, but instead had a number ticket system. So, unlike before I took the number and was willing to wait.

I saw the monitor was 136, and I was 140. I figured I have about 10 minutes before my number was called. I went through 2 aisle near by, returned the number was still 136, so I thought let me go to look at some stuff.

Rude Attendant at self checkout. Disheartening after having shopped at this store for over 30 years!

Bakery - Muffin Self Serve cost is not clear for customer! Pre packed 6 quanity muffins are priced at $6.99.(nothing saying they are day old and therefore less $) Muffins in the cabinet are unclearly marked for purchasing 6 in the plastic container, at $2.19 each because they are fresh that day. .

I was told that I can't buy cigarettes with a stop and shop gift card at stop and shop because it is a store policy. In addition, I am being charged for bags? Can someone shed light on how I can pay cash for a gift card and not be able to buy a product at the store that I bought it from, and then have to pay for the paper bags that they bag my groceries in?

The manager refused to show me the store policy, straight out told me, "No, you can't see it" and smiled. We spend an easy $1000 a week there for a family of 5. Now, we will go across the street to market basket.

I use Stop and Shop Pharmacy in Teaticket, MA. Went to fill my Dilaudid script today and was told they didn't have any and I said I'll just take two days worth if you have it as this has been done in the past and

then I go back another day and get the rest of the script filled. Today I'm told if they fill two days the script will be void as Dilaudid is back ordered as so many of their other meds were and they did not know when they would be in.

This is the Pharmacists words not mine. So I said I would take the two days of med and text my doctor to write another script to CVS. As I'm sitting texting my doctor I am then told Pharmacist had found an unmarked bottle of the med and she would be able to fill the whole script.

We have been going to the S&S Pharmacy in Amesbury, MA for well over 20 years. We have found the employees there, John, Michelle, Jessica and Brenda to always be professional, respectful and helpful. My complaint should not in any way reflect negativity in regard to them!!!!

I have been appalled by the lack of support they have in order to fulfill the responsibilities of their positions. only one had been filled)! answering the phone, questions from customers before me, and trying to fulfill the back orders.

I told him I could wait until today to get my prescriptions. I have seen customers not as patient as I leave angry and frustrated. BECAUSE OF THE FORE MENTIONED EMPLOYEES! this is definitely a workplace that needs support from the headquarters!

I was waiting on line to be checked out. My friend finished before me and the cashier took a young woman in front of me who she had already checked out. I thought she was just price checking something but she let her skip the line and pay for her items.

I wasn't going to say anything until the customer turned to me and thanked me in a mocking voice for letting her go ahead of me. I said you didn't ask me so don't thank me. I said I would have been happy to let you go ahead if you or the cashier had asked.

She cursed at me and said derogatory things about my age. Your cashier Simone laughed the whole time during the exchange. I asked her why she thought it was ok to take her instead of me and why she didn't just ask me. She didn't answer me.

Order #1381783400 was delivered last night, 8/18 at approx. 6:20. It included a carton of 12 organic eggs all of which were broken with the carton covered in yolk. Obviously this bag was dropped. I believe the delivery person had to know this had happened but just grabbed the tip and left.

This store in Nantucket makes no attempt to pack your groceries. The cashier just stands there while you struggle to pack quickly as the next customer is being checked out while you are shoving items into a bag. I shop there a lot as I have lots of visitors.

No one packed my groceries all summer. When I return to Florida in October, Publix will pack my groceries and offer to take the cart to my car. Please advise

Ran into the Stop and Shop in Grove Street in Braintree, MA to pick up a few things. Upon checking out, they asked me if I had brought bags with me. I said no. The cashier tried to up sell the res use able bags to me and I declined.

She then stated she would have to charge me for bags. I wanted to just leave everything there and walk out. I declined the bags and took what I bought loose, just like I was at BJ’s or Costco. This practice is absolutely insane.

I will no longer be a customer of Stop and Shop. Just tied off being nickeled and dimed at every turn. Whoever thought of this business model should go work for Bud Light!

at around 5:00 pm and it seemed like a lot of people where having " self checkout " problems ( myself included ) " .

And one guy; maybe 25 years old 5' 9 , short hair ( slightly curly ) heavy set / with a kind of taciturn manner Was Taking Pride in trying to help as many people as he could !

Yesterday corn on the cob was 6 for $3. I took 4 to the register and was told that I owed $3. I said no- that's .50 each and I owe you $2. The boy didn't know how to put it in the register and insisted on $3. I asked him to get someone to help him. A gal from the service desk came and looked and said he's right you have to buy 6 and owe $3.

I left and added this to the number of reasons that the store has very little business. This happened at the Elliot Street location.

At the checkout earlier today, I needed to assist the bagger, who had some cognitive issues. I highly commend Stop and Shop for hiring this person and I did not mind helping him out, he was very kind, as was the cashier.

I had asked for $50 back and realized as soon as I left the store that the cashier had not given me my cash with the receipt. I went back in and told her what happened. " The cashier admitted that she had not -- this transaction had only taken place minutes ago. " I was gobsmacked! "Excuse me!

" I replied, "I have no issue with her, it was an honest mistake. My problem, madam, is YOU. " and walked back into the office. I've been shopping at this store for a long time and have always been treated with dignity and respect by all employees.

I have been a loyal customer of the Stop and Shop in Dedham, Ma for over 40 years. Yesterday was my last day shopping in the Dedham store. I have never seen so many uncaring employees. The cashiers don't acknowledge the customers and are mostly on their phones.

The baggers couldn't care less how they bag the groceries -- my deli was crushed on the bottom of the bag, my grapes were crushed on the bottom of the bag, my cupcakes were crushed on the bottom of the bag with very heavy items on top. Nobody seems to care anymore.

It is obvious that the baggers are not taught how to bag groceries. I brought my own bags and was still charged for the 4 bags that I got because I was still putting things on the belt and didn't notice what was being bagged.

I would rather and often do bag my own…

I've been buying Boar's Head roast beef for quite a while now. Boar's Head foods, as you know, are expensive cuts of meat. I ordered a pound of the BH london broil roast beef. I just now opened the package to discover the meat had been sliced the wrong way - WITH the grain, instead of AGAINST it, which does not alter taste, but does alter texture and makes it very stringy and "chewy".

This is the second time I've had to bring this to your attention. I truly hate complaining, but it's important that your deli personnel are familiar with how to properly cut meats Thank you for your time.

My wife stood in line at the deli this morning with 10 people waiting & one employee working. She left after 20 minutes. I went back tonight at 5:00 pm , took a number & waited to be waited on.

Two employees were behind the counter & both clearly saw me . I assumed they were working on orders of some sort so i was patient. After 10 minutes they never said a word to me so i went up front to ask if anyone was working the deli.

Cashier & bagger looked dumbfounded. Is there a manager here? No answer. At least if those two at the deli were going off shift & cleaning up they should have had the courtesy of saying so. Or, if they were busy with orders they could have explained they would get to me asap.

Complaining about Stop And Shop #2413, specifically the courtesy booth/ customer service desk. m. I frequently go to stop and shop in the morning and use this desk to purchase lottery tickets. Lately, this desk has been blocked off by the “ closed please use checkout stand to left” signs, while the person behind the desk does paperwork.

Once, after I asked why it was closed after opening times, the woman conceded and sold me lottery tickets, but made her displeasure at being interrupted clear. The next time it happened, I was told they were short handed and last nights receipts for the store needed to be closed out and the booth would not be opened until then.

I just left a Carlstadt, NJ S&S. Compared to the S&S in South Orange, NJ this one was sorely lacking. ) looked wretched and withering and there were only 4 in the bin. Products I usually purchase were not available in this one.

No mushrooms, bags of spinach nor Banquet breakfast sausages. The tomatoes (in packages) looked like some of them were already wrinkly. Sorry I don't have pics. I just had to get out of there and go to my regular S&S.

The store looked like the person responsible is not doing his/her job. I'll keep going to the one in South Orange. Just thought someone should know.

575 Greenwich ave Warwick RI. Stupid pieces of trash lock the door a half hour before closing at the side EVERYONE parks at, ESPECIALLY in the pouring rain and expect you to walk alllllll the way around when your parked 20 feet away now turns into a 200 feet.

Cashiers are very rude. Walked into stop and shop on Friday night just before closing in Bay terrace. I saw a cashier and asked her if she was open she said " No, you didn't notice the light was on, you have to pay attention".

So we exc words and I continued to another cashier who gave me the worse attitude. I go to oay her and she said she didn't have change so I told her to go get change because I didn't have any, she again gave me an attitude.

My wife asked her you should have change for your customers she replied Oh well if you don't like it don't come here. I called the Manager and explained everything to her. She brought the cha ge for me and told the cashier to give me my change.

I called the 800 number to ask about Digital Coupons. I was on hold for 16 minutes until someone picked up. When I voiced my concern that digital coupons should be eliminated, I was told "bear with me" and the phone became silent.

After 3 minutes the wait music returned. I was on the phone for 22 minutes without anyone responding to my issue.

I shop weekly at my Stop and shop in Hadley Massachusetts. I take advantage of store sales and “Go Points” for gas savings. Every time, after shopping I go to my store’s website to download my gas savings and 99% of the time the points on my shopping receipt do not match what it says online.

This is very annoying and a real pain when you need to fill your tank and the points are not there. I would love it if my gas points automatically show up to match my receipt. Thank you for reading this.

On 6/24/23 at11:59am, I was in your Stop and Shop store 543 in West Babylon NY. The cashiers name was Mary Jane. While ringing up my purchase, I asked if the water I purchased rang up at the sale price. 88.

88 and she told me it wasn’t her job to add up what I got to see if I got the sale price. I told her that I did not expect her to add it in her head but would appreciate if she could check to see if I got the correct sale price that was advertised.

At check out I commented to the cashier who I have had casual conversation with in the past that he looked unhappy. He usually has smile. He then began to do a shuffling and tapping feet dance along with a “yess-mam.

We have been a customer of the Freehold Twp. store in Mounts Corner for over 20 years, and have spent tens of thousands of dollars there. Yesterday I walked in to see an aisle display celebrating "pride month". A minute later an announcement over the PA extolled your joy in celebrating these sick, depraved degenerates. Are you insane?

I used the self service check out today in Coventry RI. Not very easy at Stop and shop. I have no trouble at other stores. It’s always calling over the help and believe me they are not pleasant. Please remember I’m not a cashier.

100 words is not enough. I will say that you have lost a loyal customer of over 28 years because of your self check out system which is completely broken. Equipment. Personnel. Layout. I hope the $15/hour you saved by having one more checkout clerk is worth having so many customers go to Big Y which is more expensive. But I am done.
