At roughly 3:00 today 6/17 at the S&S on Old Connecticut Path, Framingham. The young cashier, after ringing my groceries through, stopped and stood there with her arms crossed as I continued to bag my own groceries. I always help out w/bagging when a designated bagger isn’t available.

I do it to help, but it isn’t my job. I then handed her my bags and asked that she help me. She did so begrudgingly. Contrary to her accusations, I didn’t yell at her, but explained that I don’t get paid to do this job, but she does.

Her response to me was, “she gets paid to be a cashier not bag groceries”. Her attitude, defensiveness, and rudeness prompted me to speak to the manager. In my younger days, I worked as a cashier and the expectation was, you bagged the groceries too.

On Monday, June 12th, at the Deli: The Stop and Shop employee who waited on me was disgustingly chewing gum with her mouth wide open while she was chomping her gum! Gross! All the while she was cutting my deli meats.

There were 2 women working. She was the person with brown hair. I didn’t notice her name, but I will next time. It was approximately 3:00 pm. I would think gum chewing with a wide open mouth is disgusting.

I have been a customer of the Stop and Shop store at 1189 Broad Street Clifton , NJ 07013. For at least a year I have noticed that someone has been putting large quantities of The Vision Times in their free newspaper racks. This newspaper is not just news but part of the Falun Gong cult that has spread anti vac and Covid conspiracy theories. It clearly does not belong in your stores.

Over the years I have ordered from Stop and Shop catering of 50 pieces of fried chicken, sometimes ordering multiple boxes and it was always delicious. But recently I ordered and paid for two boxes each with 50 pieces of fried chicken which I picked up on Wednesday June 7,2023 for my great granddaughter JROTC annual picnic/BBQ which was to be held at Military Base on Thursday June 8, 2023 starting at 9am for approximately 90 JROTC cadets, unfortunately due the Air Quality all school activity was canceled.

So I was left with the chicken and upon me taking a bite into a piece I immediately spit it out because of it being to salted, I thought maybe it was just me but I had other family members as well as some of my neighbors who also couldn't digest the chicken due to it being to salty.

I've been a customer Stop & Shop since it opened but over the years the store has completely gone downhill I can't tell you how many times I have purchased Meats with a good expiration date only to bring it home and find it is rotten this is happened at least four to five times I've had instances of milk and creamer being rotten and just yesterday I bought a bag of bagels and

when my child went to eat them they are full of mold! Okay also when they run out of an item it takes them months to restock it and that is beyond annoying! Please start an investigation into these complaints thank you

I was in the Stop & Shop on Hawley Street in Peabody, MA today, June 4., from 3:30 - 4:00. I stopped to get something from the deli.(I was customer #2) There was one customer being helped when I got there. As I was waiting, a third customer stopped at the deli. The boy (“worker”) finished helping customer # 1, looked at me, and then looked away and asked to help the 3rd customer. He then stared back at me. The 3rd customer had no problem putting in her order before me, knowing I was there before her, but told the boy that she would be back for it later. He made no move to help or address me. He then turned around to go somewhere and so I left. 1. Why do you not use a number system? 2. I would like for that “worker” to be spoken to about his poor customer service.

Stop and shop in Miller Place off route 25a. It’s Memorial Day weekend I just spent a ton of money the night before in your supermarket to get the ingredients for the bbq. I forgot a couple things so I went back this morning to go buy it.

I was trying to get Corona rung up and I was asked for my license. I provided the license showing I’m 37 years old. Since it was expired I was told she couldn’t sell it to me. That’s fine I understand although clearly I’m well over 21.

I tell her hold on 2 minutes my father will walk in and he has a valid drivers license. She went on a ramble how she’s not losing her job and I could be an undercover cop. I need to go to another line to check out my 11 items.

I went to the store. I purchase my food with a food stamps card, and the girl did not know what she was doing and ran the cards. Many times at the card was blocked today. Girls name is Zoe.

I had a food delivery 2 days ago. The driver just left everything on my front deck and didn't even ring my bell. When I later realized that this large delivery was outside my husband and I really struggled to carry all the bags in.

We are 80 and 88 years old and unable to carry heavy bags. That's the reason we had the food delivered. When I called customer service I was promised $20 off my next order with a code that would be sent to my email No code was sent to my email.

This is poor customer service and totally unacceptable. You can and must do better.

Im standing at the deli for over 15 minute and there are 3 people and one having a side conversation lookkng at me but not acknowledging me and keeps going about doing something else after finishing over 10 minutes with a client this a total abuse for people that are buying food with my money no asking for hand outs it’s totally frustrating for me because I am sick and can’t stand for long periods only after I complaint what’s taking so long to be assisted did the side chatter assisted me with today at 2:52 pm after waiting for over 20 minutes to be assisted

I’ve shopped at your store in Andover Massachusetts. You pricing is higher when compared to Market Basket but your store is convenient to my home. Now you charge 10 cents fora cheaper version of your bag and 1 cent for tax on the bag.

Sales tax in Massachusetts is not 10%. Hope you enjoy your windfall from your surcharge for bags. As for my family we will no longer be using you store. What a stupid corporate decision.

Stop and Shop is more expensive than comparable stores. I continually find expiration dates expired especially in the dairy department. The packaged meat is low quality The tags cover up bad places in the meat. I only buy chicken and only when it is on sale.

Actually, I only buy things that are on sale. The customer pays more through high prices, is expected to check out themselves or wait in a line because only one register is open. The new policy of charging 10 cents PLUS tax for a cheap paper bag is the proverbial last straw for me.

The self checkout with your own bags adds a quagmire of problems to checking out. It doesn't work and a person must continually get help. Of course, the attendant blames the problems on the customer (that happened to me today) I personally resent being…

I am a regular customer at the Stop & Shop in Greenville RI and I am dissatisfied with the level of customer service in the last year. The cashiers are usually fine but the baggers are awful. They have no idea how to pack a bag.

I began using reusable bags in the last few years and we had to stop using them during Covid but I am now using them again and recently heard on the news that Stop & Shop will discontinue using plastic bags in RI which is fine with me. What you need to do is train your employes how to pack a reusable bag.

The girl I had today just threw my groceries in the bag; she didn't know how to properly place them in the carriage and then was worried about her nails; so much so that she left the bags on the counter and did not even put them in my carriage and neither did…

Stop and shop in Trumbull Connecticut on quality Street. This Hass to be the worst Stop & Shop I have ever been to. I’ve lived in Trumbull for 10 years. I have seen the decline over the years and it’s disgusting everybody I know goes to another town to a different grocery store because the Stop & Shop, their shelves are empty they never have what we need and

there’s never enough help, in the checkout lines, it’s pretty disgusting. I would like to know if they’re going to revamp the Stop & Shop what’s gonna go on about the Stop & Shop because it’s just sinking into a hole and it’s disgusting.

I was asked at check out how many bags would I need for my order. I said I don’t know yet. At the end of the order I said 3 bags and the cashier said I charged you 4. Just then walked over to my carriage and placed my bag of potatoes in a bag.

I had them in my carriage. I don’t understand that and it didn’t hit me till I was in my car how rude that was.

I went the Stop and Shop in Pawtucket and purchased a French Bread for 4.87 and when I got it home it was stale. You think for that amount of money I could get fresh bread. Also the half pound of Stop & Shop roast beef I purchased was very watery and devoid of flavor. I was very disappointed when I got home looking forward to a great tasting sandwich and instead of that I got stale bread and tasteless sandwich meat.

I am aghast that I received an email that informed me that as of the end of April you will be changing me for paper bags I really think you have lost the forest from the trees. What will be the next idea?

Charge me to pack my bag too? I have been a loyal customer of your store for more than 50 years and I am in shock! What I might have to do is shop at your competition and recycle their bags at your store when I Truely need to shop there.

I recently shopped at the Stop and Shop store in Somerset, MA. I have been going to this store for many years. 99/lb. 99/ea. 99 for the Coke. I talked to a worker who manually made the correction. I asked why I was charged a wrong price and he said, "I don't know. 99 as advertised.

I was told I had to go to the service desk. The clerk there said that I would have a credit for the difference put back on the credit card. Now I have to wait for the credit card company to issue a credit.

something fishy? I have been a stop and shop consumer for at least 40 years. From Quincy to Falmouth Ma and a few in between. I’ve NEVER had a complaint, until now. I ventured into the frozen fish section. I have never purchased fresh or frozen fish at stop and shop I always pay outrageous prices at local fish shop

Tonight I tried the frozen cod. This is NOT fit for human consumption. Nor would I feed it to my dogs Maybe, maybe in a stew?? But I’m not sure? So much wrong with it.

I did also but the smoky sweet salmon that was very good!! And I purchased scallops!! We will see about those?

I am a former employee of different locations of Stop and Shop and I know when I worked we were suppose to treat customers with respect and spoke to them with some type of sense.

I called the Newington Fenn Road store and spoke to the Meat department asking for lobsters on Easter morning and I was told they didnt have any.

I called the Cromwell store and Brandon was excellent and I purchased 4 steamed lobsters.

I called the Newington the next day(4-10) and asked for seafood and spoke to Corey who said they had lobsters but speaking with him he wasnt too shore if they could be steamed. I asked for the price and he says they are expensive. I asked him is there a manager and he told me theres no manager on.

We used the online ad to decide to shop in Yonkers yesterday. 69. 99. I have a membership card but didn't buy items. It felt like bait and switch. I have now located my member number but dislike intensely such practices.

I was leaving the Stop & Shop in Sparta and I got to the far entrance by 9:01 and I was told that they were closing The far entrance at 9 by signage. I'm a heart patient and I had a catheterization two days ago.

I asked the employees nicely if they wouldn't mind me walking out of this entrance so I didn't have to walk the 3000' to my car from the other entrance since I'm a heart patient as I explained to them in the kindliest manner possible. I lost my Stop and Shop card, so I use my phone number at the register with no issues.

When I use my phone number at the Stop and Shop gas station in Winsted, CT it doesn't apply the points and I know I have close to 800 points.

I was in Stop n Shop last night store number 622 getting a couple things as I was walking past the bakery the night shift girl Paula was on the phone yelling and screaming about another employee. Wasn't the pleasant thing to listen to especially having my kids with me.

I have delt with her before about asking a question and she was very rude about it. Her response is its over there and if it's not that we don't have it.

Good evening, one of your employees was operating a walk-behind handheld machine vibrating noise all over the store tonight. I am sure the noise is well over the (85 db) action lever per OSHA guidelines. It sounded like a compactor that's used for the outside for paving.

This happens often at this store. Your employee should not be doing this going up and down the isles while customers are shopping.

Also, FYI, this is the dirties unkept stop and shop in our area. If II experience this machine one more time, OSHA and the Health Department will be notified with a complaint. Please learn to care about your customer. Thank you, John

I was shopping at the Stop and Shop store on Harvard Avenue in Brookline today, shortly before 5 pm. I went to go through the far right express check out lane (lane 1). The woman working as the cashier said that the lane next to hers (lane 2) was open with no line.

I looked over and there was one customer still completing their transaction in lane 2, the same as in lane 1, so I was confused at her instruction. I commented that the lanes looked about equal. She replied in a harsh tone of voice that she had been talking to the man behind me and not to me.

I am a constant repeat stop and shop customer in farmingdale ny.. I noticed there is a manager TINA in Farmingdale. Whenever she is on, there is usually One line open with at least 8 -10 shopping carts long. The wait is unacceptable.

If you try and go on self service line and there’s a problem, she becomes nasty like we are bothering her. TINA is not good for your business. Just wanted to let you know

If any of my crackers or apples are damaged, I will return them, and anything else that was mishandled. , has made my decision never to shop there again. Observe her, re-train her, or get rid of her.

Please teach associates how to properly bag!!!!! Today I came home with two loaves of squashed swirl bread-they were under frozen pizza, cat food, produce and my container of blueberries was sideways and had spilled open. For what groceries cost is it too much to ask to get them home in the same condition you picked them out in the store?

I really like shopping at Stop & Shop as it is convenient for me especially since I am an overworked small business owner and mother. I have been enjoying the use of your card & points. Just recently the app stopped working for me and it would not accept my username/email address or phone number for that matter. Called customer service (not user friendly for the issue that I have). I went to the Stop and Shop in Braintree since 1 store in Brockton has closed and the second one will be closing too. I did my shopping and went to check out and there was only 1 register open with a long line.

I said to the manager is no body working today look at this line. He said everybody called off and he just walked away. There were about 10 or 15 people stocking shelves but 1 open register open. Everybody I asked said its not my job.

Two items I purchased Friday march 10, were not given the digital coupons. 00 off the Kodiak pancakes, both of which were on the coupon list beginning Friday, march 10th. Apparently store 66 did not input the digital coupons. 00.

While at the Rt 30 Stop and Shop location, 3-4-23 I was treated extremely rudely by an associatte in the floral dept who refused to help me. " I was polite when I asked her for service, and was very taken back by how she was so quick to respond in such a snappy, unprofessional tone.

The clerk is in her mid thirties, heavyset with reddish hair. This is not the first time where she has seemed irritated with the responsibilities of doing her job when I have purchased items from the floral dept. Myself and my wife shop at this location, and spend over $1200 dollars a month and I must say the customer service has dramatically been allowed to go down.

This is probably a waste of time on my part. We have been customers of your Natick Store for over 40 years. The customer service desk and general service is horrible. It has been going downhill for years and it is getting worse. We now only shop there when we need to pick up items at the pharmacy which is top notch.

Today for the second time this month there was nobody at the Customer Service Desk as it was closed earlier today when I was there.

I had purchased peaches last Sunday. I had inspected the peaches prior to perches and they looked ok. Had bagged them and not touched them or took them out of the bag until Tuesday when we had a snow storm.

Had one peach before going to bed. ". After 6 attempts at locating my vanes so that they could administer the medication, and 4 hours in the ER I was finally sent home. I went through all the food that I had eaten that day, and after inspecting the peaches they were covered in mold.

Stop and Shop on Rodman st Fall River Ma 02721-IS HORRIBLE! There is never a Customer Service Rep at the Service Desk. When there is someone there, they act like they don't want to be bothered. One Customer Service Rep was wearing Sunglasses-her hair was extremely messy and torn jeans!

What happened with the people you hire here? At the Deli-Same story. Everyone is busy pre-slicing meats and cheeses and ignores customers that need assistance! Your whole store is a mess! I went to receive wester union. The moment I entered the supermarket the head register told me. We are all in the registers it’s going to take about 10 minutes. After 15 minutes the lady made an announcement thru microphone saying that help was needed in customer service.

Bought pesto buy one get one free...the 6.99 were by the 8.49::in fact in the same row no less .sign said cheap.Iest one freebought two ...didn’t get money off .on Saturday...went back today with receipt ,..told me I needed to bring pesto back I said it’s in my refrigerator you take it back ? Just give me one for free..nope !,, Have to go back again before this Friday since sale will be over THEN WHAT !!! Three ,visits I don’t have time to go back and shoukd not need to Therefore I want a coupon for a free one for 6.99
