My furnace broke down. Called to get fixed. Got a $1950 bill for me to pay. Unable to pay that amount. Requested check to find my own person. Told check would be in the mail a month ago. Told a mistake was made.

Check was supposed to arrive today, but didn't. I have been freezing my ___ off. No check and no accountability. I praised your company to friends and family for service I received in the passed. But this is a Big misstep.

I'm pissed and disenchanted with your company now.

I was to receive a replacement convection microwave in November. Because of back order until April. When microwave came was chrome. They were to replace the microwave which was black. They sent a chrome, was tokd I had to pay a stocking fee of $300 to to get the black they were to replace.

Then I was given the potion to allow total protect, to send a balance, and I was to purchase on my own with less money. But as of this date I have received neither. Please help to get in this matter resolved.

6 month without a microwave.

My heating unit stopped working in January 2022 ,I called total protect filed a claim and explained what was going on, they sent someone out, I was told a part was needed and I would have to wait for the part to come in and they would let me know when it arrives.

I explained to them that I’m a disabled senior and needed heat I patiently waited, while waiting I got sick with phenomena. I didn’t hear anything else. April I was still waiting. I called and was told that the heating unit had to be replaced.

(No one called me) The company delivered the unit but it’s just sitting here. It’s now the end of April. I have called total protect several times trying to get this resolved sometimes four times a day and I just get passed from one costumer associate to another.

The weather is no getting…

Our Heater went out on December 12, 2021. I went on line to put in a request for repair. We were assigned Sears as the servicing company. I contacted them and they said they wouldn't be able to get out to our home until December 20.

They said they had no one available. At this time, the evening temperatures were in the the mid to low 30s. The repairman arrived at our home on December 20th and replaced a capacitor on the heat exchanger and said he had to order a heat strip and be back in 2 days to replace the heat the heat strip.

He never returned or returned our calls. I contacted Sears and they said it would be mid January before they could get anyone out to our home. I said that was unacceptable and they told me to call Cinch back.

Please do not do sign up with this rip off company. They are worthless.

My MIL was signed up with them and has been taken advantage of. There is an email address associated with her account; at the time the plan was taken out, my MIL had no internet and NO email address. Her cell phone only had telephone capabilities; she could not receive nor send text messages. There is no way she could have provided this fraudulent company with an email address. And of course, her premiums are through a bank draft on her bank.

Her daughter (POA) asked to have the contract canceled. They refused. My MIL asked (per telephone) for it to be canceled. She was refused, also.

As far as service, who knows; my MIL didn't know she had the plan and it was never used.

Total SCAM artists. They take advantage of the elderly, sign them up using bogus email addresses, refusing to cancel the policy even with the policyholder VERBALLY requesting the plan to be canceled. NO customer service. Almost impossible to contact. Avoid this predators.

SCAM!!! Do not purchase warranty from this company!!! They use unlicensed people, don’t kno what thy are doing. Keep calling to reschedule. Never have parts. Will not refund ur money or let u cancel the subscription. Thy have soooo many phone numbers that are actually the same line.

We have been on phone 6 hrs total in 2 days. Whn someone does answer after hours…thy keep transferring you, talk so fast u can’t understand. Thy hang up on you. You will never get it cancelled or ur money back.

If thy was local I would definitely be there!! The address thy have is fake as well. Our last tech was so high on drugs he couldn’t even work on the water heater!!!! DO NOT USE THESE PPL.

Requested service for my built in microwave over my stove. When I used it, it while boiling water it sounded like glass was breaking although it didn’t do it while repair person was here. I was told by the repairman, if that happened while boiling water to not use my microwave at the same time.

My Microwave is fairly new and I hadn’t had this problems in the past. I am now forced to purchase a new microwave or not boil water while using my microwave. What is the purpose of having a warranty if am told not to use the broken appliance?

Is there anything that can be done to solve this problem and save me the expense of purchasing a new microwave?

Had water heater replaced on June 7th by McAtee, LLC. While replacing the heater, they cause damage to my duct work on my furnace. So I can't use my furnace. My neighbor who was there for me, because I was at work They told him to tell me not to run furnace, because of the duct.

McAtee also charged me $125 for disposal fee of water heater. My neighbor took the water heater and signed two form, one written and one electronic. They never refunded the fee

I have asked for a supervisor to call me reagarding my account.. at least 20 times.. IWhen I call.. I can not understand a word of what they are saying... the calls are cutting out..

They do not have my info readily available after I have been put on hold forever.. and always follow the prompts...

We’ve been with total protect for about 5 years and only filed 4 claims. The first 3 I would give a five out of five stars. But this time I’m really frustrated! We’ve had a busted pipe for 3 days now.

No water for three days! We still haven’t heard from ANYONE! I’ve called customer service 5 times and still nothing! They say they’ve put us in the emergency category but still nothing. We’ve paid entirely too much money for them to tell us they can’t find anyone to service us this time.

I would love to hear from someone other than customer service. I’ve been told if they can’t find a service provider we can possibly do the po-option where we pay for a plumber and get reimbursed. But I can’t trust that option after reading the fine details.

Filed a claim on 3/20/2020 for my air conditioning unit. The time it has taken to get repaired is unacceptable. There has been no follow up on why there is a delay. A text message link does not explain what the problem is.

I am very disappointed in this service and the follow thru. The customer service reps are not interested in the customer experience. The customer service rep I spoke with today tried to "shame" me because I was complaining because of everything going on in the world right now.

I am well aware of what is happening and deal with the fallout every day in my job. That comment was totally unnecessary. I am beyond disgusted with this entire process. I was told twice that a Total Protect rep would call me.

I have not received one phone call. Almost three weeks to get a coil…

Companies sent by TotalProtect: DJS H/A no fix. Compaint to TotalProtect, they cancelled my claim w/o my knowledge. Hired outside company who cleaned unit:FIXED

Brunston Appliance and Electric: microwave repair: worked 1 day and no response from company.. Complaint to TotalProtect, they were unable to get a response from Brunston.

95 each I want a refund for both deductibles I have spent with two different providers with nothing being fixed. I have contacted you all multiple times about this. I want a refund for Adept appliances for $125 because they have been to my home at least 5 times and my claim is still open and not complete and is getting worse with each technician that comes to my home.

I want my deductible back from comfort Zone for my A/C, I have asked for the pictures to prove the looked at everything and have yet to get the pictures. Reported on 7/5/19 that refrigerator is not working early on Friday morning. It wasn't assigned to a provider until Monday July 8th and couldnt arrange appointment until that next Saturday because provider couldnt talk when I called and he would call the night before wanted to come the next day without time to plan for someone who works.

Then provider said that it needed a compressor and he could not do the work. Would be assigned to a contractor that could do it. After a week, no information. Provider said no word on parts. Contact home protect and showing original vendor.

3 companies have come out over a 2 week span to repair my AC in the desert when it’s been 110 every day.

First company Sears flat out refused to do the job and wasted 3 more days getting another service company out. 2nd company diagnosed the problem and returned within a few day with the part. Unfortunately the first guy could not communicate the fact that a brace holding the HVAC unit in place is obstructing access to the part that needs to be replaced.

Their incompetence led to 3 more days and a 3rd company coming out. Said can do the job if brace is removed giving access. They were told brace will be removed the next day. Called next day provider claims he lost all pictures of the space and unit but he believes he remembers he needs better access to the unit and not just the brace…

I placed a claim on washer and dryer Jan. 6, 2019. Ray Beasley Appliance Repair was sent to my home. The washer was not repairable and we got a new washer. The dryer’s timer was off. It was not fixed.

I have called repeatedly through the months about dryer claim. I am told claim is open and to call Roy Beasley. They finally came back out in June. They replaced the timer and it did the same as the old timer.

The repairman said it had to be in wiring and Roy would have to turn in claim as unrepairable. We are still waiting. When we call Roy Beasley they say they have turned the claim in and when we call Total Protect they say claim is open and we have to contact Roy Beasley.

Hello Records department, I am following up on the following claim SCCM7182FFFB which didn’t get done as the technician wasn’t able to come out during the agreed upon time-frame of 8-5pm on 7/15/2019.

I tried calling several times and didn’t get a call back or answer from the technician on yesterday. Next, I followed up by calling the Sears 7-888-959-6168 number to complain about the technician not calling back nor coming out.

My washing machine door lock was giving me an error code! Called Total protect! This was back in June the 8th 2019. The service tech has been out at least 3 times ! Ordered the wrong part the first time!

Replace door lock and brain box still getting error code! Now they have back ordered the wiring harness! I’ve have talked to reps in South America! Georgia and Florida! A supervisor was suppose to return my call and never did till I demanded to speak to one! She was no help!

After 14 years of paying this company thinking my AC was covered, I called only to find out that they will not fix the air conditioner unless it had completely stopped working. In other words, they are sweating me out at 80° in hopes that I will buy a new AC myself. Oh yes.

The people that Total Protect send out to your home are unprofessional. I had to call Total Protect several times to resolve my issue and they still did not resolve it. I would highly recommend that customers go to a different warrenty company other then Total Protect.

The customer service is bad, as well as the people they send to your home. When I asked to cancel they stated that I am still under contract and they will continue to take my monthly payments until my contract ends.

I opened earlier in the month in May. The replacement motor/parts for my AC unit were allegedly ordered on May 13. As of today, no one knows where the parts are. I have had to stay in a hotel as the heat is unbearable in the house.

The temp as been over 100 degrees for at least 4 consecutive days here. It is unacceptable to be told a manager will be call back in 12 hours. The same part was replaced less than two years ago. When it happened in 2017, it took over a month for the repairs to be done.

Your parts are faulty and your customer service is a negative 1 star.

First of all your representative (Annie) told me she did not have a phone number for corporate only an address. I am frustrated because the company Total Protect sent to service my hvac system does not in my eyes represent your company well.

The communication has been one sided and i was not been kept abreast as to what is going on until I made several calls. I have been told two different stories on why my service has been held up.

I have filed a clam on 3/22 for my heating and air. Had your representation Acher's Air and Heating come out they filed the issue with Total Protect I have called two time now within a 2 week period and the claim still has not been reviewed and resolved.

We have been customers of Total Protect for 10 years. We called in February 2019 to have a Whirlpool Dishwasher fixed. A straight-forward request. We used to receive excellent service over the years and were quite pleased with the "Customer Service".

I don't know what has happened but now the Customer Representatives have no authority to fix issues. They apologize but cannot resolve issues. It is now 3/20/2019 and our dishwasher is still not fixed. Our order was mysteriously canceled, we had to call back to see what happened.

I put in a call for repair of my Samsung refrigerator the middle of September. A service tech came out within a few days he accessed the problem and concluded there were parts that needed to be ordered to complete the job.

Nearly two weeks later it was declared that the parts could not be located and I was given a choice to either accept cash or a replacement. The replacement was acceptable so that was my choice. I was told they would contact me for delivery a week went by no call from anyone.

Called to total protect they said the repair company would be contacting me. Called the repair company they said the unit should be delivered directly to me. Called TP back again to find out what was going on they told me the unit would be here on the 16th of October.

I have been getting the run around about a replacement for my washer since the part that is needed to repair my washer is no longer available. So, I was offered a monetary amount or I could get a replacement.

I decided to accept the replacement washer but it’s been a couple of weeks & I still don’t have my replacement washer.

Also, I am also having problems trying to get my dryer repaired. 70 out of pocket to get the dryer fixed. 70 but my dryer still isn’t repaired. I was advised my Sears that they cannot get the part for the door so they canceled the order for the replacement parts.

I have placed a claim in May 2018 for an outlet to be repaired and here it is July 26th 2018 and they have yet to complete the claim. I have called several times and have yet to have a supervisor return my calls.

As I type this I've been on the phone for 30 minutes requesting a supervisor and Guy Garcia rep#49297 in Miami, Fl has yet to transfer me but continues to be combative and sarcastic. I would like a supervisor to call me back asap as I've been waiting several months for a callback.

Today is 06/06/18. Repairman has been out twice and determined I need a new fan motor. The repair co. claims they have not gotten approval from Total Protect for the fan motor. I call both every day and get the same story.

My husband is a disabled veteran. He has severe health issues diabetes, agent orange poisoning etc. He doesn't tolerate 90 degrees heat. Please help! If I could get my deductible back, I will call another service company. We are on fixed budget and can't pay deductible and then another company.

If you could get them to come and repair, that would be great.

I have been trying to get a toilet sewage line fixed May 2. There is sewage going into my kitchen on the first floor. Cast iron sewage drain has cracked total protect.. total protect is telling me 1 plumber only in my area under contract.

and he refuses to do it .. I have to pay with my own money to a second plumber. Pay upfront . email the receipt from the plumber to them. And they will pay it in full. When I called double check what the other lady had told me.

10 person. 5 hrs. later. tom Melton plummer. 5-10 . came in. nice. took my deckable 125. never came back in to do the work. left. called to see why know repairs been started. lady said we do not have to do the work. just get the money.

one lied by Melton said the cast iron sewage pipe was copper with pin hole. that the fire did it 7 year ago. no true sewage pipes are cast iron. Here and no water. When I put it under dispute after 5 hours today 5- 21 said they'll just cancel everything not approved.

When you approved everything else. Because we can. send receipt in. And maybe they are okay and pay me back but that's not what they said they will pay me back. Then another operator said no we will not nobody has the same answer.

I have been moved from person to person all day 5 hours later…

I originally contacted your claim department in December regarding my electrical panel. 00 co-pay and was told he would return as soon as the weather warmed up. After I week I reached out to customer service after I called several times and was unable to reach the repairman.

I spoke with customer service and they said they would attempt to contact them. several days later I called back again and they told me they were unsuccessful and they would have to reassign the case to a new vendor and start all over again.

I asked when that would happen and they said hopefully within the week. I hen asked if could procure my own repairman because I was told this situation was dangerous and could potentially cause a fire. Customer service told me at that time they were giving me permission to do so.…

i have an open total protect service order SCCKCKG8Y5 ISSUED ON 12/31/2017. It is now January 25 and my problem has not been resolved. I have contacted your customer support 5 times with not resolve. my heat pump ran continually for two weeks with out stopping, My electric bill doubled because of all the auxiliary heating devices i was using trying to stay warm.

this is without a doubt the worse customer support response i have ever experienced from any company i have ever done business with. In the past total protect was very responsive and handled any claims with no issues or problems . HELP HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I telephoned your office on Friday, January 12, 2018, around noon to report that my heating system was not working. They took the claim and told me that a company would be there to repair it between eight and six the next day.

I called the next morning and they gave me the company's name so I telephoned them. I received a voice mail system. I waited all day, calling your company in late afternoon to see what was happening. They could not reach the company so tried another one.

This company had only an answering service. Then they scheduled me for a very poorly rated company for Monday. I have tried to call them but all you get is an answering service. Submitted a claim for my washer October 16 2017 it's now January 12 and I still have no washer! Called dozens of times been told for the last month several times a supervisor would call me and nothing...... Most of the time my husband or I can we are on hold for 20 mins or more and then they disconnect our call.... Worst service ever!

I've been waiting over a week to have my electric heat serviced. Was originally scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 4th but TP assigned to a company that no longer services residential customers. Waiting since the 4th for a supervisor to return my call.

Temps in this are below freezing at night and I have no heat.

I called on 11-6-17 to file a claim for my microwave. I requested to be assigned to A & E service techs because you guys always do for my appliances. Again she became very hostile & nasty refusing to do so stating they were not on the list.

I informed her that these strange named companies have exhibited incompetence and stress with previous claims. After she finished I asked her for the corporate office #. She refused to give me the # but put me on hold for 10min, coming back saying she had tried but could not contact corp.

the tech was in a BMW auto with no company name on it. This has been a nightmare for me. I was told it would be repaired or replaced. Now they are saying the Keypad part has been ordered. this experience has been so terrible I'm tempted to cancel this warranty.

We had two major claims #1- filed on 5/26 , compressor stopped working. Total Protect was to order part, we waited 0ne month, all of June. Call "customer service", if you can actually call them that! Every few days, "will have part in 3-5 days.

We had a heat wave of temps over 100 degrees everyday. Our house was 80 degrees + everyday. I was getting ill, several migraines and customer service could care less. " Finally, trying to get info from the company as to where the unit was and we found out the unit had never even been ordered.

Happened to get a hold of the actual purchase order from Total Protect. Spoke to the buyer and he told me that the unit had never been ordered and he placed the buy on 6/26!!! Unit to be delivered on 6/29. 00 initial fee.
