I am writing to complain about Travelocity's poor chat services. I got faulty information from the chat bot about an existing hotel reservation, which prompted me to cancel the reservation, since it was NOT what I thought I had reserved. I canceled the reservation and made reservations at another place, only to realize that I was being charged for the cancellation.

In addition the chatbot also gave me false information about other hotels.

If you are going to use chatbots, the information MUST be accurate, not totally wrong and misleading. I will NEVER use travelocity again, and from here forward will use Expedia and/or work directly with the hotel or airlines that I intend to use.

While I found your agents to be pleasant and professional, and they ultimately solved my problem for me,…

I thought that the trip i booked was round trip it wasent had to book a flight back from Vegas to leave on Friday cost 600 one way for two people came to golden nugget for the cool pool it’s drained the room we were quoted on and was on the sheet was premium we got a regular room where the shower doesn’t work and smells of smoke and really isn’t that clean sorry I booked with you guys this trip has been a nightmare would like to see what you have to say just frustrating thanks

I was flying to Poland, and my trip was canceled when I called to change the flight to a domestic flight (SRQ-PNC). They told me they couldn't help me and that I needed to call Delta directly. They told me to use the number on the back of my Delta card. 40 credit.

Today I tried to use it, this time calling Delta first.

However, delta said the credit was located through Travelocity, and id needed to call them. When I did, Travelocity told me they had no data on the flight or any other information, and I had to call Delta. So I called Delta back this time.

I had reservations for Starlight Hotel in Middletown Pennsylvania for Saturday night May 27. I checked in and didn’t know it was a smoking room the guy said he forgot to mention it. He found one another room he said it was the last one.

That room the air conditioner did not work. The place stinks and not like the picture shows. I left and stayed in my rental car for over six hours. That place is ridiculous and a waste of my time and money.

We made travel reservations through Travelocity on 1/11/2023. Our car reservation Itin. 60 at time of pick up. Alamo Con. 93 at time of pick up. I have been on the phone with Travelocity and Expedia for 10 days trying to solve this issue.

We have been connected with a Tier 3 agent (Mike) on 5/22/23. He stated this is not his first rodeo and he would get back to us with his progress, we have heard nothing. During my last conversation I was told to pay the higher price and contact Travelocity when we returned.

We just want Travelocity to honor their confirmed price and work the difference out with Alamo before we pick up the car. This has been very stressful. We would like to hear from someone who can correct this error. Terry Brown 240-818-6014

I can usually count on travelocity, however I just had the worst experience ever at a a hotel they recommended. Hotel preston in Nashville. After arriving at the hotel there was at least 50 people waiting to check in with only one very slow clerk working.

That's not even the main issue, even though I feel at any given day they know how many people are checking in and should be prepared with staff. While I was waiting in the 2 hour line an employee came and pulled his friend out of the line and checked him in then left.

So they had extra staff but only to check in their friends? Despicable! There wasn't a manager around to control the mass chaos in their lobby. When we finally got to the room, it was a rundown pit. No light on one of the bedside table, 2 lights out in the bathroom, etc...…

I tried to cancel my flight within 24 hours of booking it so I could return from a different city. I received a message from Travelocity saying that they had a "technical glitch" on their end. I tried to call the number that they gave me but no one answered so I sent an email.

All of this is documented with screen shots and a receipt. So I rebooked through Orbitz. I want a refund from Travelocity or I will file a complaint through the Maryland Attorney General's office.

I got two airline tickets and after I paid for everything through Travelocity, two weeks later, I get a email, not a phone call not a text message Just an email that happen to be in my junk folder. Without my knowledge, they canceled my flight and gave me a whole other flight time both ways plus downgraded our tickets to basic economy. They did not offer a refund and they will not give one they said and I need to find out how to make that happen because it’s a $300 difference.

I book first class tickets round trip to florida for my family of 4. I understood. Grand Rapids to Chicago would be Americn Eagle and a puddle jumpumper. I did not know one of the legs coming home would be economy.

I paid for 4 first clas tickets and expect first class. I am 400 lbs. I have a huge back issu. I cannot stand more than 10 minutes without severe pain. I book first class always for all these reason.

I have been trying (for over 8 hours) to upgrade to 1st class on the last 2 hour leg of my journey. You guys tell me to talk to American. They tell me to talk to you guys. 8 hours later, A snotty lady from AA said I would need to pay $1200 more to upgrade. This is BS. I bought 1st class.

Good morning, I stayed at Riu República in Punta Cana, from 3/9-3/14. I am sorry to say my stay was not pleasant at all. The day I arrived I ate at your steakhouse restaurant, and towards the end of my meal a roach was at my table.

I made the manager aware, he came over and killed it. The second night I returned back to the same restaurant against my better judgement, due to a group of my friends who we had traveled together convinced me to go back.

In the middle of dinner a roach crawled from under my plate, the manager killed the roach and did not even clean the table. They even had roaches at another location around the buffet. So for the remainder of my stay, I refuse to eat there.

I’m supposed to get married in Jamaica on June 1. I called the 800 number to confirm my flight information and the automated system canceled my flight. I tried to call and speak with a representative but no one could help me. The representative told me that my ticket is nonrefundable I try to get a credit and no one could help me. On October 21, 2022, I reserved a compact SUV for pickup in Jacksonville Florida on February 25, 2023. The time for rental was from 2/25-3/4/23. 15. The company was fox rent a car. I was traveling with my sister and her husband.

Customer service is a Hot Mess!!! I've tried repeatedly for the past two days for hours to access my intinerary for a trip I purchased 48 hours ago. I know the payment was processed because I can see the charges on my credit card.

All I get on their customer support page is a message from a bot saying "won't don't have this information on file". I've never seen something that should be so simple be such a hassle! Avoid them at all costs!!

I booked a trip with Travelocity to a destination out of the country. After reading the fine print it was discovered that there will be a large tax added payable upon arrival. This was not initially communicated. After spending a significant amount of time trying to rectify this issue I finally had to cancel the booking.

We booked a flight reservation to London in 2020-Itinerary #71007095613784. Because of the pandemic, we cancelled our plans. We were told that we could use that credit before September 2022 for an international or domestic flight as long as one leg of the flight was through Virgin Atlantic.

In 2022,, we attempted to use our credit for a flight to Jacksonville, FL and we were told that Virgin Atlantic doesn’t fly to Jacksonville. At that time, our credit was extended to December 2023. In January 2023, we attempted to use our credit for a flight to Tampa, Fl.

Travelocity is great for convenience of one stop shopping, however, nearly impossible to make changes or use credits. The customer service agents are untrained, barely speak English, are not equipped to make change or utilize the credits. They have volumes of excuses with no solutions.

I've booked through Travelocity at least 50 times and refuse to use them again. Its simply too painful and hours of wasted time on hold and listening to the excuses. Never again!

I have spent hours chatting with Travelocity agents and they will always ask that I go to the carrier to be able to use the credit, which is not what the credit balance email stated, and which hadn't been my experience in the past.

In one instance, I was on the phone with American Airlines for 52 minutes requesting to be able to use the credit, and although the American Airline's agent didn't understand why I was asked to call them she tried her best to investigate it for me but was unable to do anything about it since I bought the original ticket from Travelocity, a third-party company.

My experience with this travel agency has been terrible I ask for them to change the date on a ticket I purchased for my wife to go to her friends bachelorette party when I purchased the ticket I mistakenly put the wrong month which is my mistake that month was the month we are going to the wedding same date following month I tried to call Travelocity to help in changing the flight also willing to pay a penalty fee I was told to ask American Airlines to help but

Bought cancelation insurance. Their insurance company denied my claim because it was to have a cancer biopsy. Didn’t seem to matter my wife’s family is there and was a family visit too. Tried to use flight voucher. They said no flights available.

Tried to use flight voucher. They referred me to the airline. Southern Air was gracious, kind and helpful. Flights were available they said but Travelocity had to initiate the 3 way call to get flights. I called them 4 times, explaining each time what had to happen and asked for a supervisor twice and was refused.

In desperation I booked direct through southern, paid for my ticketsAGAIN so I wouldn’t miss my cancer treatment in Houston. There cancellation insurance is worthless as well as getting a voucher. SPEND your money ELSEWHERE!!

I made a booking with Travelocity for renting car with itinerary number 72422501620211. My booking was cancelled by James at Travelocity, on Saturday 12/3/2022, as I couldn’t pick up my car from Dollar Rent A car at 4pm due to flights delay to Vancouver.

I have requested for alternative location to pick up a car on the same day and/or on Monday 12/5/2022 but was told by James the booking had to be cancelled, as he was unable to rearrange another car from different location and hence, he initiated cancellation of the policy and confirmed that full refund to be processed, but now my request for refunds been declined.

It was the absolute worst car rental experience I have ever had. The pick up location was in a dark dimly lit location, the service was terrible. There was no one at the sight, you were forced to use a video kiosk to get a vehicle.

The video assistant was unhelpful and would not listen to any explanation I gave her. She informed me of several additional charges that I would incur that were not on the original explanation of charges sent out by Travelocity/Expedia and Right Car.

It was late at night and we did not want to wait in your dark parking lot for a shuttle to return us to the airport in order to rent a vehicle from a different company. I informed her at the time of the rental I would be disputing the additional charges. 1.

For the past 2 months, I have spoken with a phone representative in reference to my credit with Travelocity for air travel. I've been disconnected twice. An email was forwarded with comments to contact Delta Airlines for my issue. I then contacted another representative and requested to speak with a supervisor twice.

Instead, two different representatives didn't allow me to speak to the supervisor as requested. I have been a loyal customer of Travelocity via business and personal. I do not like the way I've been treated.

I called Thrifty Car rental in Sacramento, CA and was told to make a reservation for a car online which i proceeded to TRY to do. I put in my name email, CC information and chose the date which I wanted to rent the car and the reservation went through.

I then went to my email within 2minutes and read the confirmation letter and it had the wrong ending date which I HAD NOT entered so I called your customer service and someone answered who barely spoke English told me I could not change or cancel the reservation. I had booked flights to visit my family. on day of flight- we unfortunately tested positive for COVID. I spent over 8 hours on the phone with travelocity trying to switch some of our party to a later in the week flight but they were extremely difficult to work with basically stating we needed to just cancel our reservation and

re purchase new tickets OR we needed to deal with the airline ourselves. They also placed my sisters daughter (infant) attached to my husbands seat which complicated things as well and as usual they were not able to help us regarding that as well.

I called Travelocity to book a round-trip flight from Honolulu to Maui and they transferred me to Expedia. Expedia booked the trip on Southern Airways express for $326. When I reviewed the flight, the return trip had a five hour delay layover in Molokai.

I then discovered that Hawaiian airlines offer the same trip for $77. I called Expedia to cancel and rebook and they told me the flight was non-refundable by two different agents from India who had very thick accents. The bottom line is that I got ripped off with no offer to compensate me.

I recently had to cancel a flight that I booked through Travelocity and it was the worst experience of my life! I originally booked the flight in April of 2022 going to Montego Bay, Jamaica in September 2022. The airline JetBlue cancelled my flight and I had to call Travelocity to see if I could rebook the flight for a different time.

Needless to say Travelocity didn’t have anytime that made sense nor any nonstop flights returning to the US. The fist call I made to cancel the flight for a refund I was told that JetBlue would only issue a travel voucher that I could use at a later date and the voucher was only good for travel from the US to Montego Bay and no where else.

I booked online with travelicity. The hotel picture was the AC hotel in Asheville NC. The reservation I just realized was not the hotel pictured it is Cambria. So disappointing as I told my sisters it was what was pictured.

Why do you do such a thing???? My choice is either to cancel or research more. I just feel this is false advertising and now I am at a loss. Its still same now u checked again. So us all a favor please and change the pucture!

What a HORRIBLE company! I worked on the phone for my limited English friend who had booked a flight from SFO to Manila, Philippines through TRAVELOCITY. Unfortunately, Philippine Airlines turned her away at the ticket counter because her valid passport still reflected her maiden name (she had married recently) even though she had furnished her birth certificate, marriage license, green card and CA ID.

They suggested she talk with her booking agent, TRAVELOCITY. In 72 hours, I spent 24 hours on the phone with TRAVELOCITY, often getting hung up on, or disconnected, and having to explain this small discrepancy all over again each time.

We tried using an airline refund credit from a trip that was cancelled in March 2020. Had to speak to a customer service rep to make flight arrangement--took well over an hour. Paid the difference by credit card for the flight. Two days later got an email from Travelocity stating the reservation was cancelled. Called Travelocity and was on the phone for another 2 hours re-booking the flight, and had to pay the difference again by credit card and was assured the previous payment was only "pending," and would drop from the statement. The very same day another email came stating the new reservation was also cancelled!

BOTH PAYMENTS WENT THROUGH. THEY WERE NOT REVERSED.

Travel arrangements and flight tickets purchased on 8/10/22. Cancellation Protection also purchased. Plan change within 24 hours of my booking and purchasing protection to cancel if necessary. I understood that I could cancel without issue with the protection. When I called to inquire about using my cancel protection, only part of my trip was honored.

I have been calling and speaking with representatives since 8/11/22 to resolve this issue with Travelocity to no avail. I am requesting that my cancel protection be honored for my entire trip and a full refund honored as well. I will continue to follow up regarding my concern until it is resolved.

They try to stole my money. 60 in my account. I call them and the credit was expire really so many time travel with you guys. Poor customer service. Someone should call me and resolve it.

I couldn’t travel because my whole family have Cov 19. The agent told I have to nov 30 but I guess was to today. I think this stolen your client you should send me my money back. Never again travel for travelocity so many times that I did it.

Starting to be worst than ever I make sure everyone around me know how awful was this situation. Agent worst than ever!!!!

American Airlines nor Travelocity take no responsibility or provide assistance as I and family members were stranded in New York. No food nor lodging over 3 days. The trip that was planned turn into a disaster.

Secondly Travelocity charged my credit card for an additional ti ket and requested I check with my credit card company.

Overall,your customer service is unsatisfactory and the challenges of communicating on through a chat line and they disconnect when they're unable to answer questions.

I Booked a room at Portland Hilton. 00 to park. 00 Parking charge in there Non Refundable booking. Service rep then said a refund will be issued no need to check in. The day after was told " Sorry no Refund".

5 emails and 5 different Reps later still no Refund, and now Travelocity will not return emails regarding the matter . This Company sucks!!!! 19 room.

I didn’t realize Travelocity had their own option of submitting a complaint I submitted one through the Better Business Bureau.. On Friday June 24, 2022 I was looking for a hotel room with an earlier than 4pm check in time, for Saturday June 25, 2022 at a Hilton in Manhattan. I booked the New Yorker to see if the check in was earlier than my booking at the Hilton & unfortunately it had the same check in time.

I told the Travelocity representative that I had two bookings & I needed to cancel the New Yorker stay. He stated several times he only saw the Hilton booking. I asked him to cancel numerous times & told him I didn’t want to be charged for 2 hotel rooms at 2 different hotels on the same night. He persisted he only saw the Hilton booking.
