Travelocity itinerary #72359002452601. I made this airline reservation the evening of August 1st and decided to cancel the morning of the 2nd in line with their 24 hour cancellation period. I tried cancelling online, but was told I would have to call them. So I did call.
The reservation was with British Airline. Travelocity told me I had to cancel with British Airlines. After a very long wait, I reached them and they told me that the reservation could only be cancelled by Travelocity. I went back and forth between Travelocity (on chat) and British Airline (my hold time was at least 30 minutes each time) for 4 1/2 hours.
I finally did get it cancelled, but who works for 4 hours to get Travelocity to stand up for the 24 hour cancellation commiment? And it was finally Travelocity that…
