Travelocity itinerary #72359002452601. I made this airline reservation the evening of August 1st and decided to cancel the morning of the 2nd in line with their 24 hour cancellation period. I tried cancelling online, but was told I would have to call them. So I did call.

The reservation was with British Airline. Travelocity told me I had to cancel with British Airlines. After a very long wait, I reached them and they told me that the reservation could only be cancelled by Travelocity. I went back and forth between Travelocity (on chat) and British Airline (my hold time was at least 30 minutes each time) for 4 1/2 hours.

I finally did get it cancelled, but who works for 4 hours to get Travelocity to stand up for the 24 hour cancellation commiment? And it was finally Travelocity that…

My daughter and I booked a flight and paid extra for the convenience of a shorter layover on my return trip. The flight was cancelled. We ended up with the flight with the longer layover that I was trying to avoid.

I requested a refund of the extra money I paid and was told that I couldn’t get a refund. This situation is the equivalent of paying for a double cheeseburger but only getting one hamburger patty on the bun. When you ask about the other patty, you’re told they didn’t have any more and no you can’t get a refund. BS!

I’d like to share our ‘wonderful’ experience with that giant, Travelocity. My daughter booked her flight through them to move from California to New York, to take a position as the Lead make-up artist for an off-Broadway production—truly exciting times. Then Covid hit, and the production was cancelled, and thus, her flight was as well. Fast forward 2 years; she gets another position in New York, goes to book her flight using her credit, only be told that a year had past, and that her credit had been lost.

I understand corporate policy, but in a Covid world this is an unconscionable application. So I reached out first, to their help center, and unsurprisingly received no response, so I in turn reached out to their Executive Team directly, knowing that any corporation with a conscience…

I booked my honeymoon using Travelocity.

We are scheduled to fly to Punta Cana for 5 days.

I received an email from Travelocity months after booking that simply states one of the flights has been canceled for my itinerary, they called but "were not able to leave a message", and requested that I call them back.

I called and have currently been on the phone for 1.5 hrs with customer service, my care was escalated to a manager 20 minutes ago. I have spent over 45 minutes on hold. Their plan is to cancel my entire itinerary from Punta Cana home and refund me the whole amount. This strands me in Punta Cana (which would be lovely, if we both didn't have to be home the next day). agents acted like I had forfieted $1000 in airline ticket fees. Then I called the airline and the airline told me what to instruct Travelocity to do to refund my money. They acted like they didnt understand english or customer service and had me waiting 5 hours.

We were scheduled to fly on July 12th 2022 from Birmingham UK back home to America, flying in to Boston MA. The flight was cancelled by the airline. We were rescheduled by the airline to then fly home on July 14th.

I got to the airport only to be told by Aer Lingus that we didn’t have ticket numbers issued when they rescheduled our flight, And weren’t able to fly home that day. And that there were no other flights home for us.

So I had to leave the airport with my 4 year old son, and go back to our lodgings. I have called both Travelocity and aer lingus 3 times, and have messaged them on Facebook for the past 10 days.

I booked a flight and hotel to Seattle and when I arrived I was told the hotel had been cancelled. I had to call around and find a room and finally found one at 1am because they were all booked.

I ended up having to pay more than double what I originally ally planned on paying for the hotel so I spoke with Travelocity rep and they told me to send in my receipt for the new hotel and I would be refunded the difference as well when I told them the price.

I booked my trip for four people from Orlando to Larnaca, Cyprus and I specifically chose the option of economy standard which allowed me one checked pice of luggage and one handbag. I got the confirmation with the long list of things, it said I could curry one handbag with me and a personal item, it didn’t say anything about the checked luggage, but

If I could give negative stars, I would. The ABSOLUTE worst customer service and company I have had to deal with. I had booked tickets 3 months in advance for a very important family function. A day before the trip, we got notified that our flight had been canceled.

Now I understand that flights are constantly changing post pandemic, but there were plenty of options available and I thought since I booked with their services, they would give me the next best option. That was not the case. I somehow managed to contact the airlines and they dutifully notified me that they are doing the best they can, however since we booked from a third party agency that I will have to discuss with them.

I had a written confirmation of a cancellation from Sheraton hotel for one of my three rooms but Travelocity wouldn’t accept the written manager’s cancellation because they couldn’t get hold of manager ( they said twice). Re the Sam trip because of COVID they wouldn’t cancel flight and return my money, gave me credit. Which is no value for me now as it was a special one time event.

I bought ticket for my mom from this company. Now my mom has a big problem. She is going back to her country through Canada which she does need a visa transit and she does not have it. I wanted to change her connection flight (any country but NOT canada) I already paid 1800$ for the ticket.

I called both airlines and told me as I bought it from Travelocity I have to see with this agency . Amd Travelocity did not solve my problem. I paid another 300$ more but still through Canada. I talked to the supervisor and told her that she has to call the airlines and see with them as they do have a CIDESHARE and as I did bought the ticket and put my faith with Travelocity to let it handle any problem.

My complaint is that I have been trying to book flight and hotel since last night due to glitches in the systems on expedia. This morning I gave up on expedia and tried Travelocity. After a few attempts I was successful FINALLY!

Unfortunately I was so consumed with completing the booking I forgot to use the promo code for 10% off my hotel. I called customer service and for more than an hr was placed on hold by Roy who only made up reasons on why he could not give the 10% w/out canceling the entire booking.

I did not want to cancel it because I had set up a pmt plan. In the end I spoke to a supervisor after another 20 mins and she offered no accommodation of my request either.

This is the WORST company I have ever tried to do business with. I made a booking to rent a car and paid in full prior to going down to the rental place, I live in the state of Colorado and needed to rent a car to get to Oklahoma to see my sick dad.

After being charged $278 I called the car company who informed me they don’t rent to locals and to give Travelocity a call to get my reservation switched to a company that does, mind you I paid $278 less then 5 mins of me now discovering that the car rental place can’t rent me a car, so I call and ask them to move it to a company that could rent to locals.

I spend 45 mins on the phone with Travelocity who then verify’s with routes that they can’t rent to locals and to refund my money which is still notated in routes systems, they email me…

I purchased a package trip to Punta Cana. The flight back was a different airline than going. Travelocity didn't book the returning flight and didn't tell me. My hotel ask for flight info and when I called Travelocity they told me their mistake and it was up to me to find a new returning flight.

If the hotel hadn't ask for that info I would have been struck in the Dominican Republic with my family and NO way home. Never use them again

I asked for a refund on 4 airline tickets back in March of 2020 because of Covid. I was made aware that an ecredit would be issued instead but the tickets are for people I know longer do business with the people attached to the tickets and no one at Travelocity apparently has the authority to help me change the name on the ecredits or refund the ticket amounts back to my card.

I was told a request would be submitted but it would take up to 20 days because of the airline I had booked with through Travelocity. The airline told me that they couldn't issue a refund, but Travelocity would have to do it.

I booked a flight for my honeymoon with Travelocity and the funds were taken from my account, the airline then took the same amount for the tickets, Travelocity refused to release the hold on the funds from my purchase, effectively removing double the amount of the cost for my tickets. Because the hold remains on my account and the airline has already deducted for the tickets, my bank account was overdrawn.

I’ve called numerous times to Travelocity and tried to get them to release the hold on my funds only to say it takes 5 businesses days. This is inexcusable! Once the airline took the money, the transaction should have been completed and the hold released.

I contacted Travelocity online today to get support with my booking. The virtual agent, Nanao, responded to my request.

First, Nanao was unresponsive for several minutes. Then, the agent failed to read my request but continued to push information that was incorrect. On Sunday, April 24, I booked a Package trip on Travelocity from Lubbock (LBB) to Prague (PRG). See Travelocity Itinerary Number: 72292252867049

On Wednesday, I received emails from both British Airways and Travelocity saying that the flight on one leg of my trip–from Prague to Heathrow at 10:35am on May 24–had been cancelled.

So, on Wednesday evening I called Travelocity to find out what my options were. I would rather not take the 7:05 am flight (that is awfully early), but I was willing to delay my trip one day so that I left on Tuesday, May 17 and returned on Wednesday, May 25. I could then take the 10:35 am flight from Prague to Heathrow on May 25. The only change, then, was leaving a day later and returning a day later.

I am beyond livid. On 04/04/2022 I was looking over my travel plans made through Travelocity - Itinerary number 72278046174410.

I realized a Kayak trip was booked, but it was the wrong trip. Because your website advises to use the virtual travel agent because of long wait times to be expected if you call, I used a virtual agent to try to cancel the Kayaking booking.

The Virtual agent ended up canceling my nonrefundable hotel at El Conquistador, my snorkeling trip, BUT NOT THE KAYAK booking. I have screen shots with the virtual agent stating I only want to cancel my kayak booking not anything else - (these screen shots have been emailed to a supervisor I have talked with).

I booked a flight through Travelocity in January 2022 and had to cancel due to Covid. I paid for travel insurance. I opted to use the airline credit. I have been trying to book my new travel plans with them and it has been a nightmare.

I start with the chat, have gotten hung up on 2x by customer service reps. Advised I had already used my travel credit, but no ticket was ever booked. I was told at the next attempt to book, my flight was not $170 more than what I originally booked for.

I waited another day, the flight went back down again. I reached out again for rebooking and they guaranteed my booking would go thru. They also sent a charge to my card for the difference in pricing. I got an email the next day that American airline canceled my booking.

Hi, this is a rare complaint I am filing against a hotel. We stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham in Williams, AZ from 3/25/22 through 3/27/22 (2 nights). I am requesting a full refund for the $379 we paid for the stay. Below is an explanation of my experience and reasons for the request. I am not able to use the remaining flight credit. Travelocity says they can't pull it up. United Airlines say there is an error. I spoke to the Travelocity agent on 06/25/2021, and was told that I have remaining flight credit that I can use by 06/25/2022. Travelocity confirmation# is DZDBJO. Case# 88371229.

Now nobody can pull up my flight credit. It magically disappeared. It is a fraudulent practice.

They deserved not 1 but 0 stars! My friends and I booked a flight to go to La Martinique on June 2020. Our flights were canceled because of covid 19 restrictions . They refused to refund our money , but give us a flight credit for around US$1,200 each .

Last summer restrictions were still in place and they extended the expiration of our credits until October 2022 . On January 2022 we received an email urging us to use our credit because will expired on March 2022 . We called them many times , customer service put you in hold several times and at the end they told us .

I was scheduled to fly March 9th from DFW to YDF. My first leg was with United Airlines however all other flights were with Air Canada. I was told my flight credit would be available through Air Canada as they are partners with United.

It was issued for United and is not able to be used with Air Canada. I was on hold with agent at Travelocity for over an hour. com with same flight pattern, starting with United and ending in YDF with Air Canada.

She said there were no flight options and was hung up on. No return call. I had asked to speak with a supervisor and a copy of the policy which is why she probably hung up on me.

On 2/8/22 I called and booked a flight using my flight credit. I never got an email so I called back and rebooked my flight. It was for 2/25/22 to Texas. I had to cancel my trip package and I bought everything refundable. The online agent told me I could get refunded on everything but my airfare and I could only get credit. I said several times that they were refundable too, but again was told that I could only get credit.

Why would I pay for refundable tickets if I couldn’t get my money back? I had to call the airlines and got fully refunded by American and Delta. You’re trained person didn’t know what they were talking about. I will never be using your website again, plus last year I got a jacuzzi room in Indianapolis that was nasty and had to scrub the jacuzzi tub several times before using it.

I tried getting my money back after complaining, but nothing. How do you let these gross hotels on your website?

I purchased a round trip to CR from Grand Cayman via Miami. On my original booking the flight were from GCM to MIA to CR on December 20th, 2021 and return on January 3rd 2022. In October I contacted Travelocity to change my return flight to January 6th.

I spoke to an agent from Travelocity and then received and email confirmation of the change. When I arrived at the airport in CR to check in with my return flight to Miami with Avianca I was informed I didn't have a ticket because I missed my flight on January 3rd.

We had to postpone a trip due to visa issues. Travelocity made the change but also, by accident, canceled our trip and so we lost our return. We paid for a change, we did not cancel. They admitted the mistake but we have spent over 3 weeks trying to get them to rebook our return, or cancel and refund our money.

Our return flight has now left and we needed to book a very expensive last minute flight. Travelocity keeps telling us they will get back to us. They have not.

Booking round trip flights using travel credits "held" by Travelocity on behalf of AirCanada. The system allowed for the purchase of single leg of travel (but not both on the same ticket) without communicating that any outstanding credit would be forfeit.

Now being told that my only recourse is to buy another full fare ticket for the outstanding leg thereby allowing Travelocity / Expedia to keep the remaining $ already paid for under prior credits. THEFT BY TAKING!

I booked a package to Tahiti, traveling June 2020. Due to COVID, I was able to receive a refund from Delta airlines even though the flight was non refundable.

However, Tahiti la Ora resort aka Sofitel told me it’s non refundable, willing to extend my hotel credit until Dec 2022. I was fine with the extension so I reached out to make a reservation for May 2022. This time the response was, the resort is closed and they have no idea when it will reopen to tourists.

I reached out to Travelocity and oh my goodness. This is where the nightmare begins. After sending multiple emails and speaking to at least 10 customer service agents in India, no one could resolve the problem. After having an awful time using an airline credit (credit was split between two parties), and spending hours with your Customer Service area, I learned today that even with an email, Travelocity failed to take the final step to finalize my booking for a flight my son and I are due to be on this Saturday.

The airline could not assist due to the only open seats being a different class. I waited 2 hours for a call back from Travelocity only to be disconnected immediately. I need to confirm my full original credit still exists.

Your customer service and follow through is the worst I've ever experienced

I am a USAF military member who booked flights on Travelocity for the holidays to come down and visit family. I can honestly say I will probably never book or do business with Travelocity again. I had a one way consisting of 3 flights going from GSP to FAI on December 31st and unfortunately I found out that the second flight got canceled on the 30th and only by calling the airline and asking.

I PAYED for extra coverage on my flight ticket so that I could get a refund or change flight plans but was told that there were no other options but to get a refund by a Travelocity worker. Refunds take 8-12 weeks to receive, I need to be back on base by a certified time frame so I am looking for any kind of help or my money back ASAP

Booked 2 first class full fair airline tickets (on United) through Travelocity on 11/21/21, Bought "travel insurance" at same time. Website stated that it covered all potentialities. Forced to cancel travel arrangements due to contact with COVID. Found out there is no refund at all from either United, Travelocity, and their third party insurance underwriter.

We are retired, 71 yrs old, and on fixed income. We are out $3,300 and no means of recovery. Each of the three parties points to the other and their insurance underwriter is ABSOLUTELY unreachable! This insurance is a classic scam with "bait and switch" and my wife and I are the suckers that bought into it.

I would certainly discourage anyone from booking with Travocity/Expedia in the future.

The worst of all the sites. did talk to 8 different CSR and they did nothing to help us. All of them promised supervisor would call us but no one called. The site said only $2185 will be deducted from our account but $3200 was deducted from our account.

No one is ready to hep or refund now. They have no email ID to escalate the complaints on. Complaint handling is too poor or say its ZERO. The worst... Save yourself and never book from travelocity ever.

Travelocity makes it impossible to cancel more than one component of a reservation. I went online to cancel my flight and car rental reservation. Travelocity sent an email saying my flight had been cancelled (which it in fact had been).

I went back online to cancel my car, but the itinerary number was no longer valid. I re-entered it several times. So there was no way to cancel the car. I tried their online chat which was a joke. I waited on hold on their customer "service" line for over an hour before giving up.

So then I called the car company directly and cancelled it. But the charge for the car was on my credit card statement the following month. ). Travelocity would not concede that I should not have had to call the car company anyway!
