My wife arrived at the local bank in Palm Coast with paperwork in regard to our son's accounts. Their teller named Ericka looked at the paperwork and immediately threw it in their trash and told my wife it's their paperwork.

My wife came out upset and I immediately went in to challenge this individual. She told me it's Truists paperwork and I corrected her to remind her that we printed the paperwork and I demanded that she retrieve it from their trash.

Erika then slapped the paperwork in front of me. There were numerous customers overhearing this debate and she continued to be downright nasty. I wrote to their customer service on two occasions asking why this individual is allowed to be in front line customer service, they never replied.

My brother in law is mentally disabled since birth. His wife died and then her niece drained their account of every cent. His payments for owed obligations after drained the account put the account into a severe deficit. A police report was filed.

The transaction report clearly shows she used the account money without authorization. A copy of the death certificate and police report were submitted to Truist. They denied the fraud claim then denied the appeal then denied the inquiry from Consumer Fraud Protection.

Think twice before using Truist.

I've deposited cash and went to do a bank transfer and got declined I deposited $200 and only 100 was put in when I went back the look on the tellers face was of dread and I don't keep overdraft protection on and they keep giving me overdraft fees I've been to the bank they always assure me its fixed won't happen again one time they said that and

I got another the next day I don't do checks just my card never had this kind of treatment in Baltimore branch but since I moved to chestertown md its all the time I've complained to customer services but that is people that do not speak English very well they don't get it so after 5yrs im done going to try else were im a half full person but im disabled and

The customer service at Truist is non existant, not just in Murray but the on line customer service. I have been hung up on by many many people who answer the 800 numbers. They are there to collect a pay check and could care less about the customer.

Being hung up on is as bad as you can get in my opinion. I have been with BBT now Truist 23 years. BBT was the best bank I ever worked with. Truist is the worst. The change was overnight when truist took over.

Yesterday I called the local bank and held for 35 minutes and some seconds, I hung up couldn't wait any longer.. I don't blame them I can see that they are stressed to the max when I visit inside the bank.

Still I have never been hung up on by local branches I visit, which are Hopkinsville and Murray. Today I called the 800 number and…

I've been a SunTrust customer for a long time, and they used to be good. But since they merged with BB&T, the customer service has been terrible. Today, I went to the branch near my business where I have several accounts, both for my business and personal use.

I stopped by for a couple of transactions, and the teller who initially helped me was amazing. She was always helpful to customers.

However, when I needed to do a wire transfer, the person who took over after her lunch break was incredibly rude. I waited for 15 minutes for her to come back, and when she did, she cut me off when I asked questions and flat out refused to help me.

I've had to deal with her before, and she's one of the most unhappy and miserable people I've encountered.

Worst bank to deal with in my last few years of experience with mortgage payment. I have been making regular payments for few years now. The payment for Aug 2023 was sent BY MAIL but for some reason not received by them. I was out of the country so did not receive the information until i came back in the country in September 2023. When i saw the mails, i made the payments together for August and September but by that time they reported to credit bureau. They did not issue any warning regarding reporting to the bureau. this hit my excellent credit score really bad.

I never had this stupid experience with any other banks i have been dealing with over 15 years.

I opened a money market account and was promized 3.9%. The manager told me he had to login on monday and add the additional .5% in June 2023. It is not September and numerous emails, calls and being told "We are working on it". It takes 3 months to fix????

I have had my business since 2012 as sun trust. I am to the point of going through the hassle of removing all my business from here. I don't understand why no one cares or just blows me off.

Prior to this event on 8/28/23 my bank account was in good standing. Now my account is in the negative and my payroll was deposited but because of the fradulent actions, all of my money is gone!!!! Not to mention the charges froma week and 2 weeks ago are just posting, so that means all of my bills and everything else will bounce becauuse of THEIR mistake!!!

Used to be a good bank when it was BB&T. Now it's one of the worst banks in the nation. Don't bother with customer service - all you'll get is broken English. Try to get on there phone system and it takes nearly 3x as long as the old system.

If you ever DO get thru to Customer Service - you have no idea what country they are from. Even trying to getting pending transactions, to avoid an overdraft, requires close to 20 different promos. Totally disgusting dealing with them.

I was trying to pay my mortgage payment, I was informed that video couldn't pay it in cash, in which I've been paying it in that manner for the past 8 yrs, the bank manager (Albemarle Rd) was so rude, I hot upset, voice my opinion, long story, she called the local police, lied & had me trespassed, the manner of the fact that I got upset was because of the racist remark, I do have a case number, bit if this is how your establishment treat customers, just like BOA you will start to lose customers, I just read the reviews from the BBB & they are very disappointing.

Yesterday, July 31, 2023 at 9:24 am (Eastern) my sister and I contacted customer service to resolve this latest double payment and after verifying myself and informing the agent named Tamia that my sister was authorize to speak on my behalf because I had to focus on the road as I am a truck driver, the agent named Tamia instructed us that it could not be done and when we requested repeatedly to speak with a manager, she hung up the phone. I reached out again and spoke with an agent, Jayrick,who took the information and ask me to hold for him to get a manger on the phone and never came back to the phone. After holding for 1 hour and 10 minutes I disconnected. I have not been able to contact anyone by phone since. Each call is sent to voicemail.

11 on Friday before 6 PM central I believe the policy is 9 PM Eastern and it will be available the next business day. Well they’re not making it available on Monday they’re making it available on Tuesday they’re liars.

I should call this liars banking not truist they don’t even follow their own policies! I called and complained and told them to make that check available today. Everything depends on when it was supposed to be cleared. I will be looking to find another bank again I thought I found it this time with $100 overdraft protection or balance, buffer whatever you wanna call it, that’s probably not true either something will probably come up with you” liars”!

Since April 28, 2023, I have been attempting to resolve Fraud Claim, C-202305051517, with the Truist Centralized Fraud Claims, regarding the theft, forgery and fraudulent negotiation of a check (#4381) from Truist Checking Account # 000000001511532986. 00, were stolen by a caregiver working in the home of the account holders, Gene Purvis, age 90, and Nancy Purvis, age 86, in Savannah, Georgia.

I went to the branch located on 5272 River Rd. suite 101 Bethesda , MD 20816 and experienced the worst customer service ever. The teller Tina Heinrid was not only very rude but i believe I was discriminated against because of the color of my skin and me being African American.

I called customer service this morning due to 3 overdraft fees (a total of $108) from my account. These fees happened because of a mistake. My mom and I share an instacart account and she accidentally charged my debit card for her grocery delivery, resulting in 3 overdraft fees overnight.

As soon as i realized what happened my mother sent the money back to me which I deposited. They would not refund the overdraft fees. I am a single mother who works paycheck to paycheck. $108 when I do not get paid again until next Friday is a lot of money!

And all due to a mistake in which the $ was re-deposited as soon as I woke up this morning. I have been banking with Truist/suntrust for many years but I will be switching banks because of this.

I am a retired US Army Master Sergeant. I also manage a tax service owned by my wife whom is joint on my Truist accounts. In the past week I have been denied service by your Fraud Dept. 00. I had the bank raise the ceiling on my account in order to make the purchase.

The first time it was denied. My bank associate at Truist bank called the fraud dept and spoke with them telling them it was not a fraud. They said okay and it is good now and to run it again.

I ran the charge again, it was denied again. I repeated this contacting the fraud dept thru my Truist associate (Wanda Campbell, 2480 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA). We did this 10 times and it was denied 10 times. Over 2 days.

The service at the Truist branch in Kill devil hills, NC is terrible. It is NOT the fault of the employees as they seem not to be enough employees. I never had this trouble when BB&T was in Kitty Hawk.

I needed the payoff amount for my Home Equity Line of Credit. After two hours of being switched to the wrong department, including being disconnected twice and being sent to a fax machine twice, I finally reached the right person.

They told me it would take up to two business days to complete. Two days later I check and learn that they entered the wrong fax number (they misread the number). Then, instead of expediting the process, since it was their mistake, they told me it would take up to another two business days!

Since we are entering the weekend, it will end up being a full week later. This is now jeopardizing the closing on my house! I have never dealt with such a ridiculous set of policies! Why does it take two business days to run a simple report and fax it!

I am complaining about the poor service I have been receiving at the branch in Palm Bay Florida. The address is 6000 Babcock Street SE Palm Bay 32909. What is up with this branch? They continuously are staffed and it is ridiculous.

I should not have to drive across town to do my banking which I am being forced to do because service takes so long at this branch. I banked with BB&T for over 40 years and NEVER had these problems.

You need to address the Branch issues and solve them hopefully? I do not hold out much hope and may be forced to find another bank.

I went to the Austell, GA location to do a large money transaction of $20,000+. I did not want to do it with a lobby clerk out in the open with other customers. I asked to see if the manager could do it in her office.

I was told the manager said she was busy right now ( no customer in her office) and then she was going to lunch and I would have to wait up to 2 hours. My husband and I decided then Truist may not be the bank for us and are considering removing it from your institution if your own manager could not take a moment to handle this for us.

My mom co-signed for a loan and Truist put her as a contact for my personal checking and saving. When I contact Truist and they had to call me back and I gave them my number to call but they would not call me they would call her.

I’m 37 years old and a single mom and she was just helping and Truist will call her instead of me. I ask for them to take the number off and the refused to. I will be refinancing soon and get a new bank for everything.

We needed entry into our bank safe deposit box today April 18th at the Dawsonville, GA branch. On arrival my husband told a teller what we needed, he told to take a seat and a banker would be with us in a few minutes.

Fifteen minutes later the same teller told us it would be a few more minutes as the banker was with another customer. My husband was taking time out of his lunch hour to take care of this business. 45 minutes later and no further communication from any bank staff we had to leave so my husband could get back to work.

There seemed to be at least four other bank staff moving around office to office. What was so aggravating to us was that there was no acknowledgement that we were even there. We have 4 accounts with Truist and are clients in good standing.

Paid off a car loan 10/2022(originally had loan through BB&T and they were bought by Truist after I received my car loan) and the dealership mailed the GAP coverage refund to Truist. I called several times and each time was told they would not cash a check if the loan was paid in full, they would return the check to the sender.

6 months later it was discovered they did cash the check, but they won’t send the money to me even though I’ve called in several times to request for money that they shouldn’t have had in the first place. I’ve been told countless times I’ll receive a call back after the issue has been “escalated” yet I haven’t received a single phone call.

When I do call to find out the status of the money, I’m treated like a criminal because I don’t know the VIN of the car I sold…

I made a deposit on Saturday morning and when it had t cleared by Sunday, I called and was told it should clear by Monday, Tuesday latest. When it hadn't cleared by tuesday, I called again and was told it would be credited on Wednesday. Thats not acceptable!

It was a sizeable check but they're paying their CEO $13,200,000 , SO MY $5000 won't even be noticed! After nearly 30 years with the bank, I expect better treatment!

I opened a new checking account with Truist in January and transferred $10,000 from my non-Truist account at the time of opening. The money was taken out of my non-Truist account on 2/1/23. I have called multiple times and went to the branch several times and finally was told that I need to bring in a statement and call the fraud dept while I was in the local branch (that is, if they answered).

Numerous different suggestions like call my non-Truist bank to see where they sent the money? the money is being help up BY Truist) and multiple other non-helpful things like "I just need to wait". After calling to fraud at the local office, I was told that I could now transfer the money again into the Truist account.

I am very disappointed with the service received from the online banking and using Zelle. I was on vacation and was unable to reimburse a relative for a service in the amount of $2000. The transaction was identified as "under review for fraud". This process started Wednesday, February 15 and after 4 attempts on Friday, February 17th I am still unable to send funds using Zelle.

I will be calling corporate offices today.

I had an experience yesterday that I’d like to share with you.

Around noon, I went to the Duval Station Road branch drive through in Jacksonville Florida to make a deposit. A car was to my right but seemed to be wrapping up his transaction. He soon drove away.

I sent my money in an envelope through the shoot and waited. And waited. And waited. About 8-10 minutes later, after no one acknowledged my transaction, I decided to go inside the bank. I thought it was busy and maybe that was why no one helped me in the drive through. To my surprise there was only one customer inside, but three tellers.

I have had my Revocable Trust Account since 2009 and filed it with the bank when it was SunTrust. Filed it again when I opened an account with BB&T, never dreaming the two banks would merge. Ever since the merger, I have experienced far from satisfactory service; but, yesterday, when I was locked out of my on-line banking, I think you hit a new low.

For the past two days I tried to use my on-line banking as a Truist customer. I called the on-line customer service number and the representative told me there was nothing wrong with the web site and that it must be my computer. She said I should try a different server. So. instead of Firefox, I tried Google Chrome, and Bing. Still no access.

I was charged an overdraft fee for my account for a charge by a company that was processed automatically in error. The company reversed/credited my account. I requested the overdraft fee be credited back to my account (the overdraft fee was the only item making my account negative).

I called 1/17/22 and was placed on several holds transferred to a representative who was unkind, transferred to a Manager, Lori, who was also unkind. When I asked for Lori's boss name or anyone who I could escalate the claim to, she refused to provide their contact information and repeatedly advised she could not escalate my issue or help me further.

I have been trying to get an error that was made by Truist corrected for the past week with no success. Someone at Truist changed my accounts by flipping them. This all began when I contacted Truist in November to inquire about a promotional ad I saw online regarding a higher interest rate on their money market accounts.

I spoke to my branch rep who said she would take care of it for me. I received a confirmation email a few days later stating that my money market account interest rate had been revised to the promotional rate.

If you should have the misfortune of being a customer of a bank bought by Truist run don’t walk to find a new bank that is more customer friendly. When more progressive banks are waiving fees & doing all possible to maintain their customers, Truist still has the same “too bad for you” customer operating style that was the problem solving modus operandi that banks practiced in the 2000s.

It is definitely scary that a bank cannot find a manager at 10:30 am. Although admittedly the loss of my deposit with them will be relatively small & my credit card balance is moderate, the amount of Ill will they garnered will be more costly.

I have been trying to work with this bank for over 7 months to get them to process a notarized Power of Attorney form to allow me access to an elderly parent's accounts as a caretaker, and two local branches in different cities have failed to follow through on processing the POA form and adding my name to their accounts, despite full consent, a legal Power of Attorney form, signatures, and notarization.

There have been so many emails and phone calls and branch visits, I've lost count, as have my parent's visits and sibling's visits. Truist Bank is just plain incompetent. I visited the 1900 Hallandale Beach Boulevard Truist at 9:04am today. Five people were waiting when I arrived. 13 minutes later I was still sixth in line. One teller and manager making sure to say "hello" to everyone in line is not what I would call good service.

I was a Sun Trust Bank account holder. Since MARCH I have been trying to get a new Truist Bank Client Card so that I may use the Truist ATM during off hours. TO DATE - DEC 01/22 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CLIENT CARD.

I have made many attempts to get a card and every time I am assured a new card will be sent. It is inconceivable to me that Truist cannot seem to get it right. I have called today and am assured a new card has been issued.

This is my LAST attempt and if a card is not received by Jan 01/23 I will simply close the account. By the way I attended my branch in Ellenton FL yesterday to inquire about the card and was today told they were to busy to deal with my concern and I should have a seat and wait until there was some one available to help me. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!!!!!
