When calling customer service you have to give the last four digits of your social security number which is no problem, but then to go further they ask for your 4 digit PIN which is not supposed to be asked by anyone! Then after you put in your PIN, you get someone in another country that can’t speak our language well and I’m tired of it.

It takes 15 minutes if more to speak to a live person in the USA! Your company is awful. I used to be able to call my bank, which was SunTrust, and someone would answer the phone. Now you have to leave a message and wait 2-3 days before getting a return phone call.

We moved 8 years ago 30 miles away from our bank but wanted to stay with SunTrust but now am thinking of changing EVERYTHING to another bank. I needed help today but after 4 or more phone…

Paid flood insurance after deadline of 30 days. Instead of 1800 went to over 5k. Insurance had been paid out of escrow for 12 years-no problem! Have talked to apx. 12 people and most agree Truist had the bill in time to pay.

Truist is now saying I have to pay the 5k before they will decide how to handle this. Luckily, I did not have flooding problems but what if I did and had no insurance? Trying to get an attorney but they are all working on flood claims.

Have lost the grandfather status and will pay more each year due to Truist negligence! Not my fault!

I went to location in Calhoun Georgia and was discriminated against a form that I had to be complete by the tellers for my assets. not at the location. I would like to know if I let them fax to another location how can I get confirmation that form was submitted.

I am very disappointed because I have had forms filled out in Tennessee in person. I was treated very harshly.

Randomly hold your deposit for 10 days with no explanation. I never had a overdraft or anything. They also change the policy how deposits, instead of using your card you need to write a deposit slip out. When I explained I can’t write because of a handicap and asked cashier to do it I got a attitude and was told they won’t do it again.

Also I don’t discriminate but their customer service is foreigners with broken English very hard to understand

Changing my own address online: NOT POSSIBLE!!! For any issue I must call Truist! Chat is NOT working, the button for the chat at the Truist page is DEACTIVED! I had to call them for an address change. I needed more than 30 minutes only to change my address!!! Any bank which is only via phone reachable should be sued. This is customer shitting and customer stalling!

Why the ask me "thousands" questions to verify me? Name, first name, SSN, account number, street, city, zip code, state, phone number.... WHY???? The the sending me an number via SMS in order to confirm that I am me. They can see my phone number, why are they asking?

Why the not just send you the number and ask for it? NO, 10 minutes confirmation!!!!

The atm in Hazleton Pa. Is down way more than it’s working. The latest incident really has me ready to switch banks. For the past 2 days I’ve been trying to deposit money to pay my bills. I can’t make it to the bank during their hours so I really need to be able to deposit money at the atm.

Plus none of the services were working except balance check. I wish someone would stay on top of this.

I regularly shop at Walmart, however, periodically my credit card declines the transaction. When I called the credit card dept to discuss, the representative was short and rude and said there’s nothing they can do. The system will do what it’s going to do and there’s nothing I can do except answer the call when it comes in.

Neverminf, that I’m sitting at the store with tons of groceries until it’s resolved. She was downright rude and unhelpful. I’ve been a customer and exemployee of 28 years but will be considering moving my entire banking relationship!

I have had a suntrust account for years, always excellent. Since I been with truist, nothing works: my postal address was entered wrong in the truist sytem. I do not receive any account statements any more. M last three checks (total about 500 dollars) i sent to the NC address are not credited but seem to have disappeared. when using phone from Germany, i only get in touch with a machine, never a human being. I do not have a social sec number.

I have been trying to reach the Branch Manager of the Truist Bank Palm Harbor Branch, Jim Willis, for many months regarding coordinating banking services. I am an adult caretaker (along with my sister) of our elderly mother, who lives in Palm Harbor near that branch.

My sister and I are both remote; she in Atlanta and me in Los Angeles. My sister has provided a signed Power of Attorney to Mr. Willis, and despite follow-up calls from my sister (Jill Howard Church) and me (Ken Howard), and my sister and mom (Ann Howard) visiting him at the branch months ago, he still has not gotten back to me to "sign some forms" giving me authorized co-access (with my mom and

Chronical incidents with my accounts at BBT / Truist: In the past 45 days I've found out through multiple phone calls and a minimum of 5 agents per phone call: 2019 Fraud alert put on my account with BBT that was transferred to the Truist accounts. It's taken 3 phone calls to figure that my external accounts are: Linked, but can't see.

Linked, but not really linked. And this last phone call, linked but not verified. AND You've taken $144, only refunding $30; although I've had plenty of monies in there. No wonder you're worth over 500 Billion. Take take take from the little guy.

I have tried to deal with customer service for Truist several times today for a debit card fraud complaint. I have been cut off several times by people that have English as a second language. They indicated that they emailed me a fraud form to fill out and return to my local Truist branch.

I have no such email or form. Truist has really taken a nosedive since their customer service is now in the Plillipines. This bank is horrible.

I went to my local branch and the banker could not help me make an additional principal payment to my mortgage. He also could not tell me how many months/years would come off my mortgage with a certain additional monthly principal payment.

He told me I had to call the Truist mortgage # on my statement. I came home and did that. I have gottem only the run around. from several people. One person told me I had to go online and do it there.

I could not get it done online. I started a chat with someone who tried to help me do it but that failed to. He then said he'd like to try to get it done a diffenet way and would I give him my bank account (not Truist, thank God) number and my routing number. NO WAY!

So far, there is NO customer service available at Truist.

Paid off 30K (Cash) truck loan on Monday, called bank Friday and still have not processed my paperwork. I've sold my truck and cannot get my E-title from State DMV so now it's costing me $30/day for a rental for the purchaser until I get E-title through DMV after this bank decides to process my loan payoff.

One click of a button and this could be done. Branch manager at Daytona Beach branch told me she would call me that Monday afternoon after depositing cash to my loan and see if she could expedite, but her incompetence led to no phone call.

This bank has serious employee issues from branch management to corporate. Will be pulling my account(s) as soon as they decide to process my loan.

I received a random call from Sundrelly Torres, who claimed to be the branch manager of the Eagle Trace Truist bank. 00 taken out of one account as a maintenance fee. The Truist representative, at that time, assured me that an on-line request had been made to return the maintenance fees (6 in total) and I would hear back within ten business days.

Sundrelly said she would like to set up an appointment with my husband and myself, since we are both on the same account to see what could be done to rectify this problem. Since Wednesday is my only day off, I asked for an afternoon appointment.

I was a SunTrust customer for 20 years with 0 issues ever. Any problems that came up were resolved immediately at no fault of my own. Truist has totally turned me upside down. I had neck surgery in June so I was out of work from June 13 to September 26.

In that time period truist arbitrarily with no warning, email, letter or Phone call closed my account for inactivity and a $15 overdraft. of my bills to bounce. They were not receptive when I went into the branch to retrieve the balance of my check.

I will never refer anyone to your bank including my employer which uses truist and flows millions of dollars to your company.

I was shorted 20.00 at the ATM. I asked my fiancé to take out 300.00 and it was short the 20.00. I went to the bank manager, Alfred, at the Forks Branch,Easton,Pa. He stood at his office door and in a rude voice berated me while I was standing out in the bank. He rudely asked me whose name was on the card, I said mine, again I was rudely told that no one was to use it except me! I told him Tom was on my account. He went over the same speech again and sent me to a teller.

Tom got a letter from the fraud dept about this matter. I was the one that gave them my information yet did not receive anything!

I was informed by the fraud dept that 20.00 was deposited into my account. Nothing was told to me from the bank !

I will not be treated like that again and want to make a strong complaint…

My husband and I deposited a check issued by the state of Maryland in the amount of $968.00 on 10/12/2022 in our savings account ending in 6337. The check was not available in the usual timing. We received a "notice of exception hold" in the mail telling us the check had "Doubtful Collectability". The notice stated that the check may not be paid. How long has the state of Maryland been in the "doubtful collectability" category? Is Truist accusing us of trying to deposit some kind of bogus check? My husband and I feel very insulted by your actions in this deposit.

Deposited a check from the us treasury on 10/04 went through on 10/05 then immediately being placed as a hold. After calling 4 different times I was hung up on 3 different times. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said that it would be a few minutes because they were doing something else.

Then I heard the phone pick up and then was hung up on. My online bank says it will be available today and now I’m being told tomorrow. I deposited a check with my other bank and the check was NEVER flagged and it has cleared already.

I will NO LONGER be a customer to Truist bank and I will tell people to steer away from Truist. This has been so ridiculous and overwhelming to the point that I don’t even want my money to be with Truist.

Truist closed my savings account without notice, I had $1,550 in my account but was unable to access it bc I was out of state and could not get into a Truist Branch. Bc they had closed my account, I could not transfer money from savings into my checking.

As a result, I had a snowball of NFS fees totaling $180 in 1 week!!! They refused to refund all the fees!!!

00 at the ATM on Monday, a holiday. I went in first thing Monday morning for help. I explained to Albert, the manager, that my fiancé made the transaction, he immediately berated me in a rude tone that it was my card with my name on it and that no one else should be using it.

I explained that my fiancé was on my account, again rudely informed me that it was my card with my name. He did not start off saying they would help me, he just was very pompous and demeaning. He sent me to a teller who was just as unpleasant!

I opened a new account and a corporation I thought was legit wanted to send me money but when they tried truist closed my account stating the company was fraudulent and wouldn't offer me a new account. My job tried to direct deposit my check but the bank had already closed my account and was to sent the funds back so I could get paid but after several days and messages and speaking to 3 bank members on site I.

I have had so many fraudulent charges to my account had to be inconvenienced by new cards being issued.

However when I got my last card it was not provided to a previous auto draft vendor. Truist did not protect me and allowed 2 drafts to go through. When I contact the customer service department they cannot do anything you ask because of the language barrier.

Also 10 days to receive a new card is not acceptable. How are our accounts safe when other countries have all of our information? Very disappointed been with this bank since it was Bank of Kentucky in 1999.

I wish I could give you a rating of minus. I have been fighting a fraud case , since July. The fraud department, gives me a runaround. Two managers, I have talked to in person, will not return or answer my phone calls.

When I was with SunTrust, I was given a label of , Preferred customer. I lost , that status, when you became, Truist. Considering, transferring money to another bank, and will let family and friends, know why.

I have a CD that matured 9/15. Since Wednesday I have been trying to get the rate at which it renewed. I spoke to Brenda st the Coral Gables office Wednesday morning and she said she would call me back that afternoon.

Not having heard anything I have left voicemail messages all of yesterday and today. I left voicemails at the 67th avenue location. NOBODY CALLS BACK!!! In addition, the 8474 number is useless. more than 4 times I've been supposedly transferred to the CD personnel only to be cut off or transferred to investments this last time. TOTALLY FRUSTRATING!

I was treated rudely at the Drive-thru window. I had to wait 10 minutes in line behind one car. Which was fine but when the Teller got my deposit & payment out she kept hollering at me. I actually thought she was hollering at the woman that had pulled into the lane that was closed.

My account is 20352233661001. I paid off my car loan on 8/16/2022 and have not received my lien release. I just called and let them know this information and they informed me it was on hold because they have not received a title.

Missouri does not send car titles to lien holders. When a lien is satisfied the lien hold the sends a notarized lien release to the property owner. Truist customer service doesn't understand this concept, yet this is how it works in many states.

I will now go to the BBB in Truist Corp state and file complaint.

Our monthly mobile deposit is now being put on hold each time for 9 days, making our rental mortgage late each month. This is new. This deposit has been made monthly for years but now a lengthy hold is being placed. I cannot walk to our local bank, where I could cash the check monthly and deposit it, as it is too far. I have no car. I called and got nowhere with your customer assistant. Not helpful at all.

I cannot deal with this new hold each month. Both the account where the check is drawn from and our Truist accounts have much more money in them that will easily cover the 1500. monthly mobile deposit amount.

It’s impossible to reach A REAL PERSON by phone in a branch. I don’t always have time to go into a branch for assistance. I’m so frustrated and angry. Since SunTrust became Truist my banking experience has become a nightmare.

I expected the same level of service as I received when it was SunTrust. I have been banking all the way back when it was still Third National Bank and I have to say Truist has by all means been the worst.

Even the Truist sign looks angry and unwelcoming.

The Truist branch at the corner of Red Banks road and Greenville Blvd in Greenville NC has extremely poor customer service. On 9/9/22 at 2 pm I waited 20 minutes in line before giving up. There were only 5 customers in front of me when I joined the line.

There were only to cashiers to take care of the line plus 2 open drive thru lanes. Other occasions have been just as bad. I typically wait 20 minutes to access my Safe deposit box. Some much for being a Vantage customer.

I have an auto loan with Truist Bank, and my first payment was due on August 29, 2022. In a telephone discussion with one of your representatives (located in Tennessee) on August 16, 2022, we agreed that I would put the loan on "auto pay" status with the monthly payment of $785.39 being deducted from my checking account beginning on August 29, 2022 and continuing on the 29th of each month thereafter. The branch in Doral Florida at 10690 SW 12 street has the worse customer service I have ever experienced at a bank. On September 2nd, I visited the bank. There was a long teller line. The customer in front of me was told he couldn’t cash a check drawn on a Truist account.

He explained he has done it dozens of time. They finally complied. When the customer next to me left, the tellers were loudly saying horrible things about her in Spanish. I speak Spanish and understood everything. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, I was told I couldn’t process a wire at the teller window.

they said I could have one and I needed to fund a Savings Account for the secured card. I funded the account but they never sent me a card nor updated my application. I applied at Capital One all was quick.

I told Truist I did not want their card now as I only required one. Supposed to be 30 days to give me back my $500 from savings account. It has taken from June to Sept 1 and they are still holding my money.

I did an online deposit and they placed a ridiculous 10 day hold on my money and when I called reps bullshitted saying the bank was told on verification of funds the check would likely bounce so we put an Exceptions/Admin Hold on it and felt we should hold on to your money longer for the hell of it and will say to make sure funds are available even though the bank has already cashed the funds from the check and it left the account.

Its excessive for no reason and I think it was racially motivated so I am pulling my money out for waiting on them to sit on my money.

Was a BB&T Customer before the merger. Accounts were merged by Truist and in the process they stopped a monthly recurring payment for my Mortgage/Equity line. Was not aware until collections called saying I was 45 days past due. I immediately explained we have auto payment and always pay $1,000 even though monthly due is $390.

They had no record or access. I authorized agent to debit checking for $2,000 to cover past and current due. Next day in business hours I called to inquire why autopayment was turned off and to get restored. after 4 calls went to branch whom completed paperwork to debit monthly.

Instead the bank over drafted my account and had the nerve to charge a draft fee because I didn't have enough money to cover the amount. No calls or letters warning me this was going to happen. That to me is dirty business and mine you I wasn't even the person that took out the loan.

I had 2 checks stuck in an atm branch in Hillview Ky on August 5, 2022. Called branch they told me, they are not responsible for atm machine and gave me a number to call. Called number talked to someone there they said they will work on it person was short with me.

3 days go bye and no one contacts me so I call again this time I am told I need to call my bank. So I called bank and left message for the manage to call she never called. I called back 4 hours later now she was gone.

I talked to another person who was going to track checks 10 days ago and not a word. I went to bank to see manager and she was not in again. PLEASE I NEED MY MONEY THE ATM KEPT, AND NO MORE EXCUSES

Deposit checks that are on hold for 9 days. Check cleared is issuing in one day. They will not release hold. So they are sterling my money for 8 days. No one will help. I’ve talked to several supervisors who say they can’t do anything and will not escalate to another supervisor. Pissed!!
