I’ve used this service for years without issue so I’ve never used the extra services. This year there was a glitch that messed up numbers on my state tax. I asked for help & received it. Then I was asked if I wanted someone to review it just in case. I said yes.

At no time was I told there would be a fee. They charged me $130! It was THEIR system issue! I was denied a refund of the charge.

i spoke to several people on the phone especially today with racheal and she was very nice regarding my refund request. 10 because I didn't really use the software and/or I don't plan on using it at all within the next 1-2 years.

I had issues doing it online and it came back so I decided to go with HR Block instead. I don't have my order or tracking number available as of right now. I don't want to pay for something that I will not be using.

I just didn't want to pay more to get some more help that what I was paying at the time plus I didn't do my taxes correctly so I went with someone else. I filled out the online refund request for approximately 2-3 and haven't heard back.

I called several times previously before speaking with Racheal and they couldn't tell me why it was taken so long…

The “experienced” tax consultant, Talisha or Tamisha, something like that, was abrasive, rude, and spoke in a loud tone of voice as the conversation progressed. She called me combative because as she proceeded to tell me that I hadn’t completed my taxes and e-file, I insisted that I completed and e-filed my taxes on Aril 15 th.

When I asked her that I did not appreciate her tone or her volume, and asked her to lower her volume and correct her tone, called me combative then hung up on me! I learned that my taxes had not been filed when I called Virginia IRS to find if my refund had been deposited in my checking account.

I was told that they did not have my 2022 taxes. That’s when I contacted turbo. I am upset, because it appears that I filed my taxes late, when I did not. Also, I did not…

My son and I et up usernames and password for our accounts to completed our taxes. Logging in through the month March was good just password and username. After about 2 weeks we tried logging in to my account and system say: Access denied.

We immediately called the customer support number and they mentioned the account was deactivited and we never requested that. NO one was willing to up me get log in they just told me to start over but when I tried to get in it kick me.

Here was are my tax are late and nobody with turbo tax gets shit! I'm so pissed I don't know what to do or who to call to report this company. At this point its time to get a lawyer so we can get this completed.

A total nightmare. I spent 15-plus hours trying to get answers to questions from people who could not answer them. I was not able to file electronically and no one could figure out why. I was literally told they were too busy to figure it out.

I had turbo tax give me a call back and the young lady called my phone (918) 630-1931 at 11:50AM on Monday, April 17th. I explained to her that for some reason I cannot e-file for my special needs son. TurboTax keeps telling me my Adjusted Gross Earnings for 2021 do not match the amount I input so I could e-file 2022 taxes for my step- son. And that perplexes me greatly, TurboTax itself took the amount from my 2021 Turbo tax files and input it into my 2022 e-file form as my 2021 AGI and the number was $6,191 and it was rejected the 3rd time

Asked for guidance on a Cp-12 I received from IRS. They informed me to Amend my return which was inaccurate causing 16 to 20 week delay of my refund. They should be aware of tax rules and advise. All IRS needed was copies of 1095a sent in Especially when I paid $300 for my file.

My business and income depends on it now homeless and starting from bottom again. Thanks TurboTax

Hi TurboTax, I've been trying to reach you, but it's hard to get past your phone bot. I finally went through the whole thing with getting the code, waiting for your return call, allowing access to my screen, with a woman named Nikkita. She put me on hold for 22 minutes, all while loud music plays, and then came on the line apologizing, but giving me the details of someone else's tax return for 2022, another client entirely with renters. Not me. Confidential info. She said, "oh sorry, let me put you back on hold", and when I said, "oh no, please, I'm a teacher, recess is over, I can't hold anymore", she put me back on hold again.

Her demeanor was less than professional and she did NOT seem to understand my question at all....that I owe MORE than I made in wages as a teacher last year.…

Avoid them like the plague. TurboTax conduct them selves like a shell game. They will keep you in the dark about how much their service actually is until after you pay. And surprise what you believe is $40, ends up being $209.

Company charged me 250 dollars right before paying for the actual taxes. I called and they mentioned there is a clear disclosure twice right before paying the taxes that charged me by offering max services to help me with paper work to process the taxes.

Why would you offer your max services when you’re about to pay and be finished with taxes? Don’t you offer these services when ur about to file? Why offer those stupid max services when ur tired and close to finishing and about to pay the full amount of ur taxes.

I called them and they said they can’t refund bcs of this stupid clear disclosure of the offered services when ur almost done. They are CHEATERS and know how to cover their asses so they can steal money from people.

Especially the ones that barely make ends meet.

I am getting charged for Premium service- $119, which I never chose. I was under the impression that I would be charged $89 for the premier service. There is no way to know how much we are going to pay before entering your card details.

It is fraudulent and I need a better explanation for being overcharged. The call center didn't help.

I am really unhappy with Turbo tax. I filed my taxes and was charged with tax $199. I am a senior citizen and cannot afford charges like this. Unfortunately as I navigated through your filing process I was not given any option for payment until after I gave my credit card information and clicked on finish. This is a bad way to do business because I wanted to file for free and indicated that at the start of my filing. I’m sorry to be so critical about this but it is quite a hardship for seniors. I have been doing my taxes with you for about 8 years and never remember it being so expensive. Next year I will be seeking other options but for now I just had to get this off my chest. I don’t expect you can do anything about this but just had to let you know my feelings about

I recently did my taxes on TurboTax and when I received my taxes back. I only received two hundred and thirty eight dollars, instead of my four hundred and fifty fifty dollars I called turbo tax customer service and explained to the representative of the situation.

She tried to say it was the IRS who was responsible, and then the woman asked me if l requested an advance. Who l told her no, she went on to tell me, people have called complaining about the same issue She told me that I had to file a claim against the other turbo tax.

When I first flie my taxes, but I never finished the process but they still took money out of my account. I will never use their services again, it was supposed to be a free service

I was promised a 30% discount and when I put the codes in to get the discount it said it applied. then I pay for it and didn’t get a Discount! So I sent a request and they told me it was only for CDs and bought , software.

So no discount and I didn’t ask for refund just want discount. There tax people are not very good a taxes!

I am filing about a 311 dollars. Turbo tax charged me 271 for a product, and green dot charged me 40. I am to through because I would never pay anyone this kind of money to us their site, name, or product.

I would agree to pay them maybe 50 dollars but never what they took from me. I will never stop until they return my funds. People please read reviews and be aware of these companies and fees. Just a rip off.

I have been using TurboTax for many many years and my taxes are extremely easy. This year the only income I have is SS, so I couldn't believe I was stuck in the review section and needed help advancing from the page stating not eligible for electronic filing due to no dollar amount on a 1040. I only filed a SSI 1099, so I asked for help to advance to the end of the review. Spoke to a nice gentleman who directed me to go over to the left of my screen and click on file. DONE! When I asked for help how in the blue blazes was I to know I was talking to a CPA. The cost was an unbelievable $193. more than I have ever spent with Turbo Tax when I had a 1040 and 2 additional self employment amounts to claim.

I firmly believe I was misled on the "free" help and "free" federal filing you advertise.…

I have been using the service for 3 years no problem. Love Turbo Tax.. But I spent 6 hours preparing my taxes. Using the same credit card for 3 years. 5 hours. I called my bank. Tried 3 browsers. 2 computers.

Even virtually with a friend and it would not process my payment. I called bank a second time and no issue with card. The bank saw Intuit refund me 11 times. After spending 6 hours preparing my taxes on the platform I am at a loss.

I do not have another credit card. Your support is excellent. But you must have changed something this year because there was absolutely no problem for the last 3 years.

turbo tax would not accept last years password so i spent 2 days online and on phone trying to correct this. I followed every instruction given and submitted everything they asked for including my drivers license #.. All I received was an email denial of entry to my acct.

I-have used Turbo tax for many years and have had to switch to another company because of your failure to correct the situation.

Had free filing until the very end than was charged for filing. Spent an hour on the phone with rep trying to get fees removed. Federal was filed free than when went to file state a few days later Federal fee was added.

Couldn't bypass in order to file.

I had to have my taxes for 2021 refiled because of a mistake on turbo taxes part. I owed over 4000 in taxes after the readjustment plus fees.

Also I got charted an additional 1500 in fees from the state of colorado, even though the tax advisor said I only owed 138. I called customer service several times and asked why I owed 1500 to colorado when the documents clearly stated that I owed 138.

They were of no help. Turbo taxes guarantee is of no value. You can get screwed over and they will do nothing to help.

I file the simple standard deduction 1040SR AND ENTERED MY INFORMATION INTO TURBO TAX FREE turbo tax has my birthdate right as 06/20/48. but fails to have any way I could find to get TURBO TO GIVE THE higher standard deduction for single , over 62 yrs of age tax filers.

I am upset that this SEEMS to be a way to get those of us older folks to give up and pay 29 dollars for a "tax expert" to help correct turbo tax FORM to give us the higher deduction we who are 62+ QUALIFY FOR. PLEASE EMAIL A RESPONSE PRONTO

There are many issues with using Turbo Tax to file my taxes.

When you choose the option for having your refund deposited to your bank account they now use a third party. This they tell you and must agree. However they do not disclose the cost associated with this. It Turns out that the third party bank will take almost all of my refund for their services. This is not compliant I am sure!. When I called Turbo tax to try to cancel my refunds I was told I could not. Turbo tax also told me I needed to file a Florida state return and I was charged $39.00 for that return. However it turns out that Florida has no state tax so that return was unnecessary . And then they tell you you must print and mail your Florida return but it does not allow you to print it. What a mess!

The third representative didn't know how to resolve my issue. Aren't they supposed to have knowledgeable tax people working for them?

I have been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years but now I am done. I competed my return by the end of January with no errors. However, you had a software problem with the federal return so I had to wait until mid-February to file . I also could not file my Oklahoma return until the federal return was accepted. So I just submitted my returns again but now the Oklahoma return has a software problem and you are now telling me to wait until March 2nd. This is ridicules. You charge too much for this poor service. You just lost a long standing customer.

I had a coupon code that I applied that I later found out did not take off of my payment. When I contacted customer service I was told that I could gift the code to someone else but there was nothing that they could do about it since the payment already processed.

I have been a customer of Turbo Tax for a long time and I am upset that this is the response I was given. My code was for $25 off my taxes and given the rate of inflation today that is something I could use.

If this is how Turbo Tax treats their long term customers I do not know if this is the place I will go in the future. I would appreciate if this could be resolved and applied back on my credit card.

I filed my taxes with your company, mainly to take a vantage of the refund advance. I even did all the necessary steps to sign up with Credit Karma and fill out the application for their bank. I was pre-qualified for X amount of money.

And I could see it on my app for multiple days and then I logged on this morning and it was gone. I’ve been given the runaround between TurboTax and Credit Karma. This is unacceptable. I really need the cash advantage.

That’s the only reason I went with your company and not my normal company. This is false advertisement myself and along with many many others they are filing reports, and they will be planning to sue for false advertisement. Your team has no experience on how to handle questions.

I've used turbo tax online for 5 years and never had a problem. I filed my 2022 taxes this year and because the web site has gotten so complicated with pop ups to click on a deluxe package I made the mistake of clicking on it.

I did not need this deluxe package. I file a simple single 0,and nothing else. There was $117 charge taken out. When I tried to get a refund for this mistake they said there was nothing they could do. I find that totally unacceptable especially for a customer of 5 years that always files the same way.

I will be switching to another tax company next year. Very poor customer service!!!

THE IRS NEW PIN NUMBERS ARE NOW 6 DIGITS. I HAPPENED TO FIND THE BOX AFTER CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR HELP AND NO FAULT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON DIDN'T KNOW THE LOCATION ON TURBO TAX TO FIND THE 6 DIGIT BOX.

THIS BOX NEEDS TO BE RELOCATED TO WHERE THE OLD 4 DIGITS ARE. VERY HARD TO FIND AND THE TIME I SPENT TRYING TO CORRECT THE PIN PROMBLEM WAS VERY TIME CONSUMING.

I put in my credit card information for a $40 upgrade (a hidden fee) at the end of filing my taxes and was then immediately charged $120 with no opportunity to review the charges before confirming. I was told my fee would be $106 dollars when I filed my return. My wife just said we got a deposit in our account that $155 less than my return. Your customer support said the $49 was because I had the fee deducted from my return.

Good Afternoon,

I filed with Turbo Tax and upon check out clicked Refund Advance, on which I was pre-approved for $2000. Before I hit submit I notice that it changed my payment choice to Direct Deposit. Noticing this, I went back and did the Refund Advance process again a second time. I then sent my taxes to the IRS to get approved. I received no emails or notices from Credit Karma Spend or Turbo Tax regarding my Refund Advance. After my taxes were approved, I received no notice again about my refund advance. So, I tried to call customer service where you have to search through the entire website for the correct number to get an actual human being to help you. At the end of doing my taxes I realize there was a $39 charge. What I wasn't told was it that also be charging me $39 to do the state as well and an additional $39 just cuz I'm using it.

They did not disclose that. It is not right. That's $117 coming out of my hard-earned money, when they disclosed just $39 to do your taxes. It's deceiving.

I spoke with a Kayla Roberson from Birmingham, AL to help me with my issues and she had to be one of the rudest consultants I have ever spoken with. If being rude and having an attitude is what it takes to work for this company, I want nothing to do with them.

I am politely not using their services again once I finish this season. I advise anyone else to do the same.
