They was not a bell or anything to ask someone to the gate which was 70 yards from a house. Owner eventually came up to gate and asked if I had four wheel drive. Yes, But I am not hauling this up a muddy hill (already dug up by tracks - it had rained 2 inches night before)

He said fine and walked away I called uhaul and told them I was leaving equipment by the gate and wanted reinbursement for unhooking trailer. I took a video of this.

The only reason i could figure he wanted me to do this was his little 4 wheeler could only bring trailers down...not take them up the hill. He was actually rude when walking away when I said "no... I dont want to muddy my truck or risk getting stuck.."it is your job"."

He literally just left me standing at CLOSED GATE.

I left the trailer on the driveway…

A manager, named Dean called three times asking about whether our rental would be taken out of the state and we told him three times that it would not be. He asked my son for the destination address and then he called me.

We offered my driver's license but he was more adamant that we were lying and I asked him what does giving an address do? It verifies nothing. So you want proof of my license and he got very nasty and retaliated saying he would cancel our reservation altogether.

He needs to be trained on customer service and should not be a manager. I want someone to call me back with him on theine to explain his rudeness.

Most of the people in Customer Service I've dealt with have been excellent. BUT, a young woman in Customer Service answered my 1st call this morning (around 9:30am) and did not give her name. She was very rude in her tone and also left me on hold for 5 minutes, then hung up on me!

PLEASE note that both Labelle (on 5/12) and Moriah (on 5/13) were excellent in helping me. THIS WAS THE YOUNG WOMAN IN CUSTOMER SUPPORT WHO ANSWERED ON 5/13 BEFORE I CALLED BACK AND GOT MORIAH!

Truck door was unable to be pulled down after furniture was loaded. Called roadside they came, left and returned with parts and help. They guaranteed they could fix it but after. 5 hours they couldn’t By now it’s 6 pm. All uhaul are closed.

Truck had to be unloaded and returned to storage, truck had to be towed, and movers reschedule for next day. Customer service rep stated move would be free because of extra inconvenience. No one offered to help unpack and repack new truck next day, additional help had to be paid for.

I went into the uhal office on 4/5/2023 and inquired about renting a y ruck. The lady whom I spoke to took all of my information and told me nor to worry about taking a truck that night. She assured me that I would be able to pick up said truck the next morning at 5:30 am which was when I needed the truck.

She told me that I would be receiving a link the next morning. I never received the link. I called the store a few minutes ago and was told by the manager there was nothing that they could do other than make me new arrangements. This is totally unacceptable.

The truck rental was am urgent need. Uhal clearly dropped the ball. How can I be helped with this situation? I only need a truck for 1 Saturday morning and I would appreciate if this situation can be fixed or afjusted.

U-Haul daytime manager Glens Falls New York exit 18 clearly abusive to his staff. Young woman very helpful and patient with difficult customers in front of me was berated by this manager in public scolding her for answering a question for me without an appointment.

My only question was does U-Haul do the type of wiring I needed so I could make an appointment. His foul berating language continued with me while walking to look at the wiring at which time I left. I can count on one hand the times I've ever made a complaint like this.

My complaint is not for me I went to a different U-Haul that was very helpful. The complaint is on behalf of the employees that were helpful and professional but clearly intimidated by an abusive manager.

they refused to rent me a trailer that I had reserved because I parked in the parking lot in front of the store. He said I was too rude to rent to. Although he was extremely rude to me about parking.

I arrived on time to pick up my reserved trailer. The C.S. person informed me that I needed to upload a picture of my Drivers License. I explained that I didn't have a smart phone with me but presented my license and asked her to handle the problem. She informed me that she could not proceeded with the rental because I was not able to upload a photo and because I did not have a phone on my person with which I could be contacted if need be.

Essentially I was refused service for lack of a Smart Phone.

Hello. I was under a wrongful eviction from a bad landlord for no reason except mean spirited behavior. Here's what happened back in early November 2021. I was employed at a warehouse named Radial in which I accidentally left my cellphone in the bathroom.

I didn't realize it was missing until it was too late after a fifteen minutes break. I checked my locker and noticed it wasn't there. That's when I remembered I had left it by accident in the ladies restroom. I explained to the landlord or rental manager my phone was stolen in the bathroom.

I cannot believe that uhaul has stoop so low with customer service I make a reservation but the manager said that if I had confirmed appt for a truck that if someone walked in off the street that they would give my truck away and hope that they had one when I arrives.

Don't say it not true because it happened on Monday of this week. The manager I spoke with said this was new policy. Crazy!!!

I rented a U-Haul in Savannah, Tennessee at Renroe Lawncare on Cumberland Street. He had no pads to cover furniture, no tie-downs, and no dollies. Because we had no tie-downs, the piano we were moving fell over. The place I wanted to return the U-Haul truck to in Southaven, Mississippi did not show up on his list, so he said I had to call U-Haul to tell them where I was returning the truck to.

I called and had along wait time and had to talk to four different people to take care of this. The last person I talked to said it was documented that I would return the truck to a place other than the one I told the man I rented it from.

It was a very unpleasant experience.

I made an appointment to rent a U-Haul from Pawtucket location at the Newell Street location. When I arrive to pick up my reserved truck , noting I rented a truck the previous weekend as well. The Manager decided he wasn’t gonna honor my reservation.

I was contacted initially by customer service, but haven’t heard anything since . I had to scramble to get another truck. I am 59 years old and I was moving by myself and I didn’t get a truck until three in the afternoon.

I have to drive further. Spend more in gas and miles in addition, they charge me for a additional day because I only got the rental for 20 hours, apparently opposed to the 24. Made what was supposed to be the start of a new adventure for me terrible. Booked a truck 2 weeks in advance at the closest pickup location to me. During those two weeks I heard absolutely nothing in regards as a confirmation.

I decided to call the location 2 days before my pickup to confirm as to which they said they don't have a truck for me. So if I didn't call what were they gonna do when i showed up the day of?

A little over a month ago I went in to pay for rental truck I reserved. There were only 2 employees working since it was almost closing time. The male employee by the name of Eric Esopi began the check out process.

He 1st asked what I would be needing the truck for, which I found a bit odd ,but told him I was needing it to transport 1 item. He then asked what I would be transporting in the truck, which I found even more odd and quite franky none of his business,but answered that as well.

I was basically punished because I don't have a credit card. I tried to rent a pick up truck and utility hand truck and was told that I couldn't get the pick up because I didn't have a credit card but only have a debit card. They told me I had to get a bigger cargo van and have to pay $.30 more per mile.

he wanted me to stay there while he figured this out on the computer however i advised him again my helper could do the paperwork went back out to my truck. he then stepped out of line called the customer advised the customer not to take my calls, tried to get my customer to give him the payment code which clearly your instructions to he customer are to only give payment code to the drivers.

He was way out of line threatening my job and everything else....... but when it starts affecting my pay over his bad attitude something need to be done.

My husband and I rented a uhaul truck to move some furniture from store to storage. We did the paperwork inside, then went out to pick up the truck.

First, the gas level (1/4 tank) did not match the paperwork (full) which we immediately told the female agent about. 2nd, the mileage was 126 off.

Third, the key only went 1/2 way in the ignition and it would start without a key.

Finally, at the end of the day, they had to refund $327 to us because they charged almost $435 for a 6-hour rental in which our actual mileage was 56 miles. ) She also tried to charge us $67 for filling it to “full” even though we brought it back with 1/2 tank when we started out with 1/4 and she knew that!

She also tried to add on 180 miles instead of the 56 we drove- again in our pics! I tend to believe it was…

Ordered a refrigerator dolly along with the truck. Got to the site and was told that they did not have any. Had to complain to the store supervisor and then she called another site to locate one. I had to drive the truck to the other site to pick it up and was charged for the mileage to acquire the equipment that was ordered over a week prior to the pickup date.

The additional time required to pick up the dolly resulted in the next day charge. Instead of working with me, the same store manager said that was the rules. The lack of communication and irrgregard to the stores inability to meet the agreed contract is unacceptable and a refund of the overcharges is expected.

I will like to file a complaint on u-haul. I started working there June 6,2022 I got fired from January 6,2023 I feel like I got fired for no reason. The manager said I wasn’t doing nothing when I was doing something. I was always working taking care of the customer on the bey with the trucks checking them in and working at the register too. When other workers was calling off , I was always showing up doing shift. I honestly was getting pick on by the manager baby daddy. He was acting like he the boss instead of hear. My sister Renalda Carter, who is now deceased rented a Uhaul form u all for me, TRASHUNDA HARRISON (who made the payment)the day before I was suppose to move. On the day of me moving into my place I was told that I was denied but the truck was already parked in the apartment complex off of 94.

Customer service in the Uhaul store in Peekskill was rude. I get there and there's no cars, so I ask when there will be some available and the lady just tells me to come back whenever there is, and acted discriminatory and racist with a downwards tone towards me.

We reserved a truck a couple of days ahead and was told the utility dolly would be inside the truck when I pick it up. Well it wasn't but I cane back and got one. Next when we decided to start moving or driving to the new place the truck cutoff or shut down and the oil light was displayed on the instrument panel.

We contacted the store and the call waa answered by the sales dept. So I never got a chance to speak with anyone else as it was high call volumes. Please advise as we returned the truck by 7:15 and left the key in the drop box.

I was told there rent for a up stairs unit 5x10 was $5.00 more then a downstairs. I was charged $119.00 for a 5x10 and the posted price was $114.00 , that does not seem right! I visited the U Haul place on 3001 Boxmeer Rd Charlotte NC 28269 on Saturday 1/28/23. We were told they were too busy to help us with refilling a propane tank. That is not how you do customer service or keep customers. I’m very disappointed by the lack of service and for the rudeness that was given to me. This is not the first time I have experienced terrible service at this specific location. If this is how U Haul treats their customers then I will refuse to use them again.

Drove across town in Tallahassee to get my propane tanks filled. Tenn. st Arrived at 7:28 pm and was informed the propane service gets shut down at 7:30 . I have been to this facility before on many occasions and that has never been the case.

My fiancee and I were completely ignored 3 times by " Lola" an employee we found SLEEPING on 3 separate occassions we came to this store in the last 2months. She was asleep on a couch in the front area...

, Asleep in the office, and sleeping on the front counter... Actual snoring!!? We have never been treated this way by other staff here. We were ignored by the manager when trying to complain about it, and have decided to take our business elsewhere from now on.

On 12/30/22 I reserved a 26’ truck for 1/7/22 on this day I was informed 1 hour before my moved they they had no truck and that I would have to go 19 miles away to villa rica to get a truck!! Store, Dallas Texas @ Harry Hines & NW Highway. 2days in a row, refused service to refill propane tanks. Girl in office told me to unload tanks from my car and the service manager would refill. Mgr. said no more propane as he was too busy.

On the morning of January 7, 2023, I rented a 15' moving van from my local U-Haul dealer located at 155 Saw Mill River Road, Yonkers, New York 10701. The truck had 1/4 gas left in the gas tank. I was told by the U-Haul representative to return the van with the same level of gas in the tank.

Before returning the van, I made sure to refill the gas tank to 1/4 level. The same U-Haul representative who waited on me earlier in the day came out to inspect the van and the gas level. 00 refueling fee.

The gas level was at the 1/4 level. The U-Haul employee insisted the level was below the 1/4 level by about 1/16. 00 service fee. 00 refueling fee. 00 refueling fee. The gas level was 1/4 level when the van was brought back.

On dec31/22 I reserved a 26’ truck to be used on 1/7/23. An hour before picking up the truck one of the agents called me and informed me that they had no truck for me and that I would have to drive 20 miles to pick up a truck !! Which I did!! not happy about!!!

So I had to pay mileage and gas for a truck when I moved local and reserved a truck local and I don’t think this is fair to me, I always is your Company for all my moves, I feel like this wasn’t fair to me and they acted like they didn’t care!!

I believe I should have not been charged for miles and gas for something that was not my fault. Thank you.

Our family has been a loyal U-Haul user. We recently had much damage to our home from hurricane Ian and have used cargo vans to help us. The last two have had tire issues. The first one almost being flat and the second one always losing air in its tires.

This problem cost us to stop many times, and put air in the tires doubling the time it took to evacuate our stuff. When we returned the van, we asked to speak to the manager who would not even come out of his office and talk to us face-to-face.

It was insulting, and a very bad experience we were hoping at least to discuss maybe a partial discount or help for that second day payment since it was no fault of ours. In today’s business world, I don’t usually complain, but it’s very sad when customer service no longer exists.

2 miles away from the facility at 21930 Miles Rd North Randall, Oh 44128. Major problem, your business is sloppy. There is a constant beeping sound from your faculty 24 Hrs per day. For those who work it's annoying when your trying to sleep at 1:00 am for work.

The police were sent there today and confirmed it is this U-Haul. A workman is there now working on the alarm. But he gave the wrong number. Makes me wonder if any such person exist. The beeping continues. Your Management staff is uneducated.

My debit card was charged $1400 and I was told it was a glitch in the system. Everyone I have spoken to has been rude like it’s was my fault my account is overdrawn and I have an overdraft fee added to my account.

Also my rent is due and my money isn’t in my account as of today. Now I’m about to have a late fee on my rent as well from a truck rental. I am do dissapointed in the customer service that I have received.

I have been renting a self storage with u haul for over a year now. My unit is always paid for on time and i never have gave them any problems since i started renting there. Today i was in the middle of moving and stopped at the u haul in kingwood tx i had all my dogs my baby and myself and iwas trying to get all of our things in before the storm.

So i accidentally let the door close behind me with my car keys and my swipe key inside i was never given an access code only my swipe card so i call u haul who tells me to call the manager for an a access code so i call and text and tell her my problem and let her know my child and i were locked out in the cold and she looks up my account sees im paid in full and

Someone gave my name, address and phone # as a contact when renting a unit. I did not authorize this and now I get monthly bills addressed to ME at MY ADDRESS! I am no legal expert but I do know this is illeagle. When I called to have my information removed from the system, I was told the person who rented the unit had to do it. It has been over a year and they are still harassing me with this. The location is: Uhaul 451 S River Rd BEDFORD, NH 03110

The Person who rented the box is Brian ODonnell, someone I have not contact with. If I continue receiving mail and my name has not been removed from this account, I will seek monetary compensation for damages.

Waited over 5 hours to get a trailer hitch put on my 2020 GMC ACADIA no one came and told us it was going to take that long when we asked what’s going on they said it would be another 1 to 1 1/2 hours more…..
