I've been getting help through marketplace in getting health insurance. I've gotten cateracts so bad,I think I've become blind in one eye. For the last several weeks it feels like I've played tug of war chatting with united healthcare over where and how and how much I will have to pay for getting the surgery,I've went to wrong eye clinics that had been referred by primary doctor,had exam done by doctor that was on the list,but found out the facility to do surgery isn't,what a mess.

ive been praying for help,as far as I know,I will be able use this service,see attachment. If I could have this surgery,I could use this service and getting a job,I am sick of being broke. The most aggravating thing to me,I accepted food stamps and welfare get my kids back into their own home.

I’ve been tryingto get reimbursed for international hospitalization for 6 months. Countless phone calls, form after form, case is shuttled from department to department. Hours and hours!! Certified mail, registered mail they still deny receiving it. Never a return response, just flooding me with forms many of which are duplicates.

It’s apparent that there is zero communication within the organization We’re talking about $2000here. I believe that they hope to wear down their customers through denial ,delay and lack of response .

So I need to go to the doctor right? And I find out that they gave me a virtual doctor! Which wasn’t told to me when signing up! No where on the forms did anything about a virtual doctor :) so I CHANGED my good insurance to this bullshit and now I have to pay way more money to go to the doctor than my other insurance that I never even got to use.

Now im stuck with this shit. I tried calling and asking questions and the dude just kept saying “well what do you wanna do” . Soon as November rolls around you can stick this card right up there so no one can find it.

What the hell is a virtual doctor going to do for me. “Oh doc I think my ovaries are going to explode” “oh damn ” yeah okay. Be so fr.

United Health Care bogus flex card! I have tried to use this card since December 3 2023, to have every purchased declined payment! I have called and called to be told every item was declined but if I purchase products thru there providers it would be approved!

This is price controlling by not telling the consumer what is the procedure to follow! I have talked with multiple people on UHC staff and never been told the same thing twice, or gotten any help from anyone there! So as of tonight I went to Walmart which is one of there providers and tried to purchase prescription glasses only to have that purchase declined again !

Then when I called in I was told that I needed now to go to my Doctor and have them prescribed! Are you kidding me!! So because of there negligence I am out the $250…

On December 16 we received a letter dated 12/7/2023 from united healthcare telling us that my wifes coverage through United Healthcare was cancelled in September of 2023 (FOR NON PAYMENT OF PREIMIUM) The problem is how in hell can you cancell a policy for non payment of a premium when it is set up for Auto pay then withdraw the payment every month after?

Also how can you cancel the policy in September and notify the policy holder 3 months later it was cancelled.? Next she has undergone Chemo treatments and various doctot appointments in between. Now before these treatments they verified her coverage for they told the Doctors that she had coveraged.

We are on a fixed income and are now being bombarded with bills out of this world. And now her treatment is on hold because of it. They will…

When I try to use my U Card at stores it is very often denied, even though I buy what’s allowed and there are funds on the card. I have had to get 4 new cards because of this. Which takes 14 days to get, RIDICULOUS!!!

When I call to complain, that’s the United reps solution. Then they say “you can order online”. I DO NOT order online because it takes days to get the orders that I need immediately. I am so mad about constantly having issues and not being able to use this card when I need to. FIX IT!!!

The new card I got TODAY is messed up (see picture) so they ordered me ANOTHER DAMN CARD! Another 14 days I’ll have to wait!

On 9/27/23 I called the number in the Medicare book to ask questions regarding 2024 benefit coverages. After asking some questions the lady told me if I didn’t want to sign up she will have to go to get other callers that do. Huh ?

This was the number in the Medicare book to call and compare coverages with other advantage plans. That was in 9/27/23. I decided to call and talk to a supervisor about this because I didn’t want to judge a company by what one employee said.

I called back today 10/9 and the rep forwarded me to what I asked for - a supervisor or manager. That person. Was just another rep and didn’t know where to send me to file a complaint. Super unhappy, been on the phone with different representatives for 4 hour and 30 minutes so far and no one can resolve the issue. I have 3 patients and total of 6 claims which we haven't received the payment. Representatives from claim department and EAP department can verify the claim number and they told me that it has been paid but I haven't received ay payment neither in Optum pay nor in our bank account.

Optum pay support team told me that since they haven't processed the payment they can not help me!!!! For hours I have been transferred between these 3 departments and no one can resolve this issue!!! Educate your team so at least they know who I need to talk regarding this issue!

since i joined uhc i tried to start a account for mysellf and i could not because of my old telephone number. i don't have this number anymore and even if i did i still would not be able to get a code to verify it is me.

i called uhc and spoke to 8 operators including supervisors and nobody can hellp me because nobody knows how to change my phone number. to this day i still have no account.

First time complained that I called two days ahead not 3. The car they sent smelled of feces.

Second time, rep stated that I didnt need my appt to do it over, again issue with the 3 day leeway. Didnt count the weekend. Third time today Friday. Rep stated change your appt from tuesday we are inforcing 3 day rule????

For several years it has bothered me that the co pay for a Prolia injection is never the same. 76. Each fall I check to see what the co pay for the following year will be, thinking I may change to a different program, however your c/s reps never have this information. 76 co pay.

I spoke with a rep who told me the Prolia injection would have a $100 co pay if I ordered it from Optum RX and had it delivered to my Dr. Office and received the Injection there instead of getting the injection at a hospital.

I was skeptical because I was told before that I could not do this. The UHC rep did a three way phone call with Optum RX and Optum RX also agreed that the co pay would be $100 if sent to my Drs office.

I had a crown placed in March, 2023 and unitedhealthcare aarp is refusing to pay the claim stating there was not enough bone to support a crown. This crown is and has been on since March with no issues and UHF is refusing to pay the claim even though my dental provider has submitted proof to them that there in fact is enough bone to support the crown. Now I am responsible for $1500.

I am totally disgusted with them and will write to corporate. I have never had any problems with claim payouts in my entire life

Constantly being harassed into using their “OptumRX” service even though I’ve told them for 5 years I have no interest. Also denied chiropractic care because “I’m not showing improvement” - I’ve suffered 3 concussions from sports and severe whiplash from a car accident; my chiropractor was never going to magically fix my chronic migraines but did help to not require handfuls of drugs in order to function.

They’ve also twice denied MRIs for my fractured spine as “not medically necessary” - once for referral to a pain management specialist and a second time to a surgeon. I’ve been trying to see the surgeon for 8 months now and still can’t get in because the procedure I need to set up the appointment has been denied, even on rebuttal from my doctor.

I am a provider and was calling about payment for a client. I was transferred four different times to get the "special department" that handled my clients case. The call with employee Ian. (phone call reference number 7315) said he had to transfer me a fifth time.

I asked him for a supervisor, without checking or placing phone on a hold he said there were no supervisors able to get on the phone. I asked him for an employee ID number in fear that I was going to be sent to the wrong department again.

He then went silent for a minute and just transferred me when he was unwilling to give me any identification that I could have a supervisor reference back to him as an employee if I was transferred to the wrong department. AND OF COURSE HE TRANSFERRED ME TO THE WRONG DEPARTMENT, I was felt…

I would like to file a complaint to a representative named Ara from the Philippines. Unfortunately, I was not able to get her last name initial. I am calling for a claim and was told that there was no claim on file and to resubmit a corrected claim.

Before I made an appointment with Dr. Hawkins I called United Healthcare and I was told he was in network. I made an appointment with Dr. Hawkins and his office checked coverage and they also were advised Dr. Hawkins is in network.

I received a call that United Healthcare denied my surgery and said Dr. Hawkins is out of network and John C Lincoln Hospital is also out of network. I called United Healthcare and asked to speak to a supervisor. Sarah Chavez is the supervisor of United Healthcare.

An employee of this company got a lead for a health insurance quote. The number belongs to my ten-year-old minor child and not the person he was trying to reach. The employee reached out and after the minor told him he was ten years old he continued the conversation and then give the minor his personal cell phone number to continue communication. The employee's intentions could have been sincere. However, this is inappropriate and should not happen again. I have the employees name and screen grabs of the communications which I can provide upon request. I did not rate experience and left the default of 1 is it is not applicable as to this issue.

I'm tired of getting customers service people that can't speak plainly and way too fast.. Most of them can't hardly speak English clearly. You need to get this corrected because it's frustrating to people with hearing problems!!! I had two experience today with this problem that I'm ready to look for a new mail order prescription drug company.

When I moved to Denver from Pueblo and transferred my medical care I assumed I'd be getting a doctor instead I got a nurse practitioner I'm not happy with that I don't I don't feel I'm getting the same quality care I would with a doctor as I do with a nurse practitioner and I'm asking for a simple letters stating what my disability is and they want me to make an appointment in order to get this letter so that they can charge United healthcare for an office visit for something they can do in 10 minutes centura health sucks.

Please fire the lady who signed me up. Her name is Angela Moreno. She lied. She didn't follow up. She gave me the wrong ID number. She contacted my doctor directly and couldn't help them. Now thanks to her I've lost a doctor.

My prescription medications are completely fouled up! This woman is only in the business for herself! The more people she signs up, the more she makes! Q. All she is doing is making potential customers extremely angry! Not a credit to United Healthcare at all, they should be embarrassed to have this person employed by their company.

Since January 2023 I have been contacting UHC about an order which had the incorrect item. I have been told , more than once the item is on its way. It seems I have been getting the faults information both from emails and phone calls. As I said this has been going on since the first week of January. I did reach out to a supervisor in UHC but she is also getting no where with them . She has been told by the Benefits Department “they need more time. “ In UHC Membership Rights it is stated that A UHC member is to be treated “with respect and dignity by United Healthcare Personnel .” I cannot say that being lied to is being treated with respect and dignity.

Claims for reimbursement was paid incorrectly and after 4 months and 18 phone calls I was told they were not going to correct the incorrect payment. Two people I talked to at Wellmed acknowledged that the claim was paid wrong but they were not able to get the person making the decision for correcting the problem to help.

I received a letter recently from United Health Care. They wanted $120.45 for a missed payment. I looked at my checking account and found that I had paid for Jan., Feb., and March. After talking to several different people - which took forever - come to find out this letter was for a missing payment FROM FEB., 2022!

NOWHERE on this letter said anything about a missing payment from 2022. What kind of operation are they running? It takes OVER A YEAR TO FIND OUT THEY MISSED A PAYMENT FROM ME? Not happy I have to pay - especially after such a long ass time. Ridiculous

My wife and I have been members for a number of years and we have always paid by check. Our bank always receives an image of our check to place into our monthly bank statements. With the February premiums (mailed in mid-January) that changed.

Instead of a bank image, I received a one line debit notification (similar to when I use my debit card in a store). My wife, however, did get her check image. Upon noticing this, I immediately called your customer service.

I just got off the phone speaking to 7 or maybe 8 people at your company. I was calling for my brothe iwho is hearing impaired. I was told when we had to switch his plan in your company, due to moving from CA to OR, that we had to send back a termination letter regarding his old policy.

The representaive was adamant about this. We never received one and I never got an answer about it talking to all of your employees today. When speaking to person # 3 or #4 I was told he only had prescripition coverage for the new policy. Huh?

I was sure he had both prescription and medical coverage (separate policies) when I made the change by phone on 2/3/23. Then person #5 or #6 told me he did have new medical coverage. It wasn't until person #7 told me his new ID number for the medical insurance.

Without fail every time I call UnitedHealth Care to ask for specialist 's name I get an "advocate" that does NOT speak English, and can not understand what I am asking for. Or I get argued with or told someone will call me back.

This is the WORST Medicare dual plan I have had the displeasure of having. to deal with. Clients should not constantly have to ask to speak to a supervisor in order to speak to someone that speaks & understands English. This must stop.

Several times in February I've contacted custemer service about getting Healthy Benefits to pay my bill and each time they said that they couldn't process a payment on my utility bill. They said they had to update their computer and wouldn't be able to process a payment.

The last person I contacted said I could pay it at Walmart Payment Center. I went there and they said they didn't do that any more. So now I have to ,pay it because they didn't update there computer for my utility service: Wilson Energy.

I paid for my utility service back in January. HOW LONG DOES it take to update their computer files? They've already had the whole month of January and part of February. They knew they had to update it so what's the excuse?

I have an MRI scheduled at NYU langone and they told me they do not know how much it will cost me and to ask the insurance and united healthcare oxford told me they don't know how much it will cost me and to ask NYU. I cannot get this medically necessary procedure without knowing how much it will cost and making sure I can afford it.
