Their customer service is horrible. I’ve been on the phone for over an hour trying to determine why my doctors request for a heart Cath has been declined. I not only had a problem understanding the lady, she spoke extremely fast with an accent.

I requested to speak to a supervisor or manager. I was declined this request.

When I signed with you I was really excited and pleased with my navigator. After holidays I had nobody then one was issued and I realized that she was unable to provide me information about so called healthy food information and wasn’t sure about my benefits as utilities and rewards program.

I feel that many of the people I speak with needs more training and experience. U was able to reach my previous navigator where I got information immediately and she connected me with OTC department, but after she did this person I spoke with hanged up she realized that, second call and

Been trying to get an invoice for 35 days. They have given me a number of promises to provide but nothing. Even heard from their escalation department. Rep promised to get back to me in 24 hours - 3 days later nothing. Even left a message for the rep. - no call back.

Only using because my company recommended. I will not be using them when I transition to my next plan.

Wish I could give a minus 10. I am a healthcare professional and this company's transportation service is the worst I have ever seen. They don't show up or worse yet take people to appointments and fail to pick them up leaving sick and elderly people stranded at appointments for hours.

Their customer service is a joke. Good luck with the wait time to speak to someone if they don't hang up on you. Their should be some oversite being done by medicaid. This is unacceptable!!!!!!

The utilities program does not pay your bill until its to late. The representatives are robots reading from a script. I spoke with 18 people daily. Since Jan. 1st. It's like they are in a large room with no answers.

I called UnitedHealthcare this morning to activate my Renew Health benefit. The customer service agent could not explain how my gym would be reimbursed. The customer service agent insisted the gym only needed my member number. The customer service agent asked me for the group ID # on my card; when I gave it to her, she said that couldn't be it.

I spent almost 18 minutes on the phone without getting an answer. Then I went to the parking lot, opened the UnitedHealthcare app, and got an activation code in less than 90 seconds. Why have a customer service department if they cannot answer customer questions and never even suggested I could get an activation code through the app? Horrible customer service experience.

My Medicare Advantage Plan began on Jan 1, 2023 but I have yet to be able to login online or use my Ucard to purchase OTC medical products. I had an old UHC insurance plan that ended in 2021 and it is linked now to my current insurance.

I keep getting the run around by CS saying they have a ticket in to fix this but nothing has happened yet. Attached is my old account information. My new plan is a AARP Medicare Advantage Plan 1 Member # 0771480-01.

I have attached an image of what comes up when I log in. This needs to be taken care of immediately.

I have been working for United healthcare approved agency for over 5 years now. I have never seen this kind of corruption and greed. They are only in this to line the pockets of the investors and top executives. They have now denied coverage on my homebound patients 80% of them.

Some of these patients have been with the agency for over 6 years with severe conditions such as MS, amputations, stiff man syndrome, some are bedbound and then all of a sudden they are not getting coverage because they do not meet qualifying factors? what do they just rot away in their beds and die of wounds and infections?

because United is F#$ing greedy as hell. Its worse then drug money they are making money of these sick, dying elderly that are not getting serviced. I get phone calls daily from my patients…

-I am a disabled individual with various diseases and one really rare disease. I'm on a feeding tube and at home IV fluids/

-Anytime I call the insurance I just get given the runaround. I explain what I need or what is going on, and they "walk around" it and try to do something unrelated that won't help. Most of the customer insurance agents are uneducated and uninformed about anything more than the basic insurance stuff. I'm severely disabled and need/utilize all aspects of my insurance. They don't actually care about your conditions or if you get what you need to survive. And you can tell them the same thing 50 times and they will still ignore you.

UHC just denied my back surgery less than 24 hours from when it was to happen! They previously denied a spinal cord stimulator and said I had to have surgery first. We went through the steps to get surgery and they said it wasn't medically necessary at the last minute.

We WILL be suing a and since I'm a journalist, I will dedicate the next year to exposing this criminal enterprise masquerading as Health Insurance. I have lost two years of employment because I can't walk! I am also filing a complaint with the BBB.

I have dealt with these people for almost a year. My doctor's off was sending bills to a wrong address. I have talked to the claims department 6 times this year and still do not have anything worked out. Clerk says they are months behind on processing claims.

Can't give me any idea when the claims will be paid. She says they have 15 months to process claims. Clerks are rude and don't seem to care about the customers.

Dear Sirs, I have had company coverage with you that was unexpectedly interrupted with my job loss. As I was informed I contacted you regarding my options and the quickest way to get re insured. I spoke to approximately 7 representatives who were completely uninformed and kept transferring me to someone else that they would hope could help me.

I am not sure if this is a result of the current situation and call overflow, but this is by far the WORSE most useless time I have wasted on the phone. They are uninformed, misleading, and frankly don't seem to care.

You are a monster company who should be ashamed of the way you are being currently represented. Shame on you for failing us at worse need. I will share this news with everyone I know. Be better then the absolute worse!

United Healthcare switched their over-the-counter-essentials to WalMart for 2020. Let me tell you not very much thought went into this process change. With my first order this is what i in-countered:

1. I found that the on line ordering has problems and is not user friendly. 2. I placed my first order for 6 different items, but it was easier calling in the order then trying to do it on line. 3. out of the six items i received 5 of them on three different dates and 3 different shipments. 4. One of the items I have yet to receive and will have to call and find out why. 5. on one item i wanted WalMart wanted me to drive to one of the WalMart locations and pick it up. We have filed 6 claims and all deny, nobody will give us the information that we need to get the claim paid. We accepted this person and got a authorization number and are now out 7819.16. There have been at least a dozen calls. I am now on my third call this morning, the first two with John, I got hung up on. I have an hour already just today invested in this. I am currently on hold while the rep Charlie tries to find someone else who can help us.. We have more than just this claim and are currently not accepting any more residents at our Skilled Nursing Faciliity.

I called for MEDICARE to the main office. He walked me through the plans and said all my drs were on the plan. I said MEDICARE in our discussion 10 times.

He then hooked me over to my local agent in St Petersburg.

She said she was setting me up for MEDICARE as I turn 65 in December.

She screwed me up so bad and DID NOT give me MEDICARE she put me on some otherhealth plan........and I spent 7 hrs today fixing it with Social Security.

DO NOT USE THEM..........they are scam artists to the Max !

Apx. 2 months ago, I enrolled in my mom in a UH policy as a secondary to her Medicare plan. After many follow-up phone calls requesting a welcome packet and ID cards, I still have not received one item from UH.

On 10/24, I send a letter to Dirk McMahon, CEO at the Hopkins, MN address and still have not received a response.

I cannot believe that I am still at square one with UH. How is this possible that I haven't even received a welcome packet!!!! My brother informed me that the premium amount was deducted from my mom's account on 11/1. The worst experience I have ever had. If I don't get this resolved immediately, I will be writing to the BBB and to every board member of UH.

my child has the united health care community plan in Pa and last year she was offered a 50 dollar gift card and a 30 dollar gift card if she did her yearly check up and her 6 month dental check up. I filled out the papers and the drs signed off not once but twice because I put my home address not the po box.

Here we are 8 MONTHS LATER AND NO GIFTS CARDS, DOZENS OF PHONE CALLS IVE BEEN HUNG UP ON MULTIPLE TIMES. I want to know the status of her gifts cards.

Gary Harris is being cared for in home , after numerous hospital stays for respiratory Problems due to COPD, lung problems and complications from infections. He was release by hospital on June 7tn. He went to a rehab center to regain ability to stand or maybe walk.

He was neglected and abused by facility , which I reported to insurance co. And state hotline. He was brought home because he begged me to. Since this date i have been unable to get my husband , prescribed oxygen equipment from insurance co.

He has received no equipment from your co. Not from medicare. Everything has come out of our pocket. Yet 35 days home i am still begging for oxygen equipment for him. I have not gotten any help from your co.

If you are disabled and expect any assistance FORGET it. You only get lip service. They call themselves Service coordinators but they Lip service only. They also have the most out dated system in the WORLD. No email, no direct phone number to your so called Service Coordinator, no way to leave a voice message, not even a mailing address!!

So we were under the impression that it was a simple face to face visit and then the pt would be able to receive a lesser breathing assist device ( a BiPap), and

I have a pt, who, after multiple years of use, has been denied her RAD equipment by your company. , this is life saving equipment, the pt is compliant with use, and now we have to probably send her to a sleep lab in order to have any RAD or PAP device...

oh wait UHC will NOT pay for a RAD, so pt will get a system that will not meet her needs but lets waste 1000's of $ 1st. What a great company. I bet UHC will also NOT pay for her increased ER and hospital visits either, as she will need a RAD when she gets there, if she gets there.

I think they are real now and run UHC, as after reading multiple complaints, it seems that UHC does not want to pay for anything that actually helps people deal with an illness. I am not for single payer, but if it gets rid of crap companies like this, then…

I have never dealt with such incompetence in my life! Needed to move my father to California because he could no longer take care of himself and was told that because he was leaving mid month, I would need to file for an organizational determination. I filed and was told that everything was being taken care of and that United Healthcare would contact his doctor. A few days before my father moved, I call to inquire about the organizational determination and was told that it was never done. Really? The customer service representative offered no solution to the problem and told me we would have to pay out of pocket. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

I received transportation and was verbally assaulted by Danny Williams of Trusted Transportation who picked me up at 3219 Burke Road, Apt 602, Pasadena, TX on Wednesday, 2/6/2019. He had a man in the back seat when he arrived and the driver, Danny Williams was extremely angry and rude.

He was listening to a political station where they were speaking about the Black Lives Matter organization. Because I had just had a pacemaker put in a few days ago and was going to the heart surgeon to have it checked, politics was something I did not think would be good to listen to at the time, so

I am both a United Health Care participant and a current member of AARP. On 1/17/19 I received a letter with the UHC letterhead informing me that I was in arrears on my monthly health insurance premium. Being concerned, I immediately perused the previous four months of my bank statements. 99 ck# 226.

1. The claim for Virginia Thomson has been returned several times asking for something that doesn't make sense. copies are attached. 2. All claims are being returned for not identifying the policyholder, the number is on the UB04 and is legible. 3. This claim was paid as Medicare secondary but at the time of service UHC was primary. It has been reviewed several times with the same outcome as processed correctly. Brewster Place has sent medical documentation.

I have contacted UnitedHealthcare multiple times to get a claim paid and they are now ignoring me. My husband has MD and he has called daily/weekly to get his claims paid. They say they are in process, when in fact, they are appeasing us and not doing anything.

I have a claim from March for a mammogram. I called UHC to make sure HealthPartners Bloomington is in network, I emailed UHC to confirm, I searched their website of providers to confirm and it is in network. I called ahead for the procedure codes to make sure they are covered and they were.

I receive a bill saying HealthPartners Bloomington is out of network. HealthPartners Bloomington listed the service provider as themselves, which is in net work, but listed the billing as Group Health, which UHC is saying it out of network even…

My complaint concerns the Practice of Dr. Frank Kush. Here is a summary of my communication with Dr Kush's office. 18. 18 (see below) and received a phone call that week stating that his office would seek approval from my insurance for a CT upper body scan.

I am trying to get an insulin pump. I was denied a new pump back in march or so I thought. I broke my pump back in june. I \was told my pump was out of warranty and I would have a loaner for 90 days.

This starts a new claim process but wait that claim back in march its still open so instead of getting a new pump in a timely fashion I'm waiting for an appeal on the original denial. To say I am upset is putting it mildly.

Now I have to wait until August yep August for a new pump. Thanks for nothing.....

I live in Greenville, Ohio in Darke County and a man name Tom Flanders signed me up on United Health Care. I had been on Medicare's SLMB program, and before that, I paid into the Medicaid Spend Down program. I have a rare disease commonly referred to Alpha One disease.

It's a liver disease that destroys the lungs, plus causes other problems. takes anywhere from an hour and a half up to 4 hours on a bad day. Anyway, Mr. Flanders assured me I would get every service and medication that I' been getting, but with many added benefits such as dental.

My mother was recently rushed to the emergency room at NYU Langome in New York City due a suspected seizure. While at the hospital she was seen by a neurologist who requested that she have an EEE, Upon calling her office we were informed that the doctor did not take her United Health Care insurance.

The doctors name is Tahani. I called her insurance company and asked for someone who did take her insurance to get her the EEG and she had already been put on the generic version of Keppra for the seizures. I was given the name of a doctor who when I called his office also did not take her insurance.
