8/13/24. Your door to door rep knocked on my door, I went to the door and told him, I'm not interested but Thank You. He said, What is it that you're not interested in? I said Anything you have to offer, Get off my property.

He refused to leave and stood there continuing to laugh. I walked away to grab my phone,when I immediately came back, I was on the phone with my husband,describing your worker,Early 20-mid 20's of Oriental descent with a black Vivint shirt and hat to match,refusing to leave our property.

We sold our house in June '23, cancelled our Vivint service July '23, received a refund check from Vivint in Aug '23. Now, in October and Nov , Vivint is sending us past due notices saying our account is past due.

When my husband called he explained that we don't have an account. The guy said they reopened it and now we need to get our equipment back from the lady who bought our house in June. Help!!!!

I have had trouble with Vivant since day one of installation. I was informed one thing by the salesman, then another by the person that installed services at my home. The installation guy said that salesman’s will say anything to get a sale.

I have been charged for equipment that I didn’t have and etc. I regret getting involved with this company.

I need someone to tell me why Vivint has a customer service sept but they don’t help the customer at all. I was on the phone with several 3 reps and only one gave me Information on getting my contract transferred to the new homeowners after selling our home.

He gave me instructions on what to do and we followed them through. Our realtor got a hold of the buyers and they were ready to do what they needed to do to transfer contract to their name. But we got a call from our realtor today and said that what was discussed was not the case when they got a call from a rep.

The price was not the same and they told them they would have to have their own contract. I’m beyond furious as this was the only way I was not liable for the remaining of my contract even though I owned all the equipment…

I’ve only had the Vivint Home Security system for a couple of months. Currently my entire system has been down for almost a week and despite multiple requests, they refuse to send out a tech. I’m discontinuing all my Vivint services effective immediately and want to warn anyone looking for a home security system, DO NOT USE VIVINT.

We got vivint to try 8/2/23. We weren't told about having 3 days to cancel nor was told it was a contract. Now we are not able to cancel without having to pay a lot of money. That's not right.

It's not right how they are getting people like this and not informing them of the trial periods or it being a contract. We are needing to cancel with no hassle and no fees. This was a mistake on Vivint's side.

The Email I sent to Vivint HR Department: I’m regrettably composing this email to report the unprofessional, aggressive behavior I encountered with one of you door to door sale reps on Tuesday, Aug 1st at 3pm pst. This sales reps name is Mario (#198073).

Today Mario and another gentleman came by my home with offers to replace my current ADT security system with Vivint. I expressed to both reps my distaste for the level of quality and service I’m currently receiving from ADT. Hence why I had reason for many concerns and questions to be answered.

Everything was going good, the other gentleman (not Mario) was very attentive and answered all my concerns. Mario (198073) then presented to me the equipment package and cost, which was $40 more a month than the current plan I have with ADT.

A Vivint salesperson came to my door and was extremely condescending and rude. ) and then shows me an ipad with security footage of someone else's home while explaining how great the Vivint devices work. I told him that was awesome, but we already own a system.

He asked if our system was Blink, to which I replied, 'Yes, and my husband monitors it obsessively. The salesperson then says that he would buy our equipment so we wouldn't be out any money. " Stupidly, I told the truth and said no, but we're fine.

He asked if it was me, my kids, and my husband who lived in the house. WTF? I said we were good. He was obviously perturbed that I wasn't interested in what he was selling, so he asked if my husband was home. I asked him why?

I was a Vivint customer for over 14 years. I moved to new addresses twice with no issue until December 2022. I sold my condo so I called Vivint concerning service, I was told that I had to cancel service by a Vivint rep because I would not move into my new house until spring 2023...more than 90days away and that I could just open a new account.. so we proceeded to cancel the account. The account was never canceled. I called Vivint in January after getting a bill, again in March each time canceling service and getting a credit back to the closed account. In July I started getting automated calls from Vivint about an outstanding 56.00 balance due on this account.

Called at 11:55am. Problem not fixed. Was disconnected with no return call. Called back. STILL on phone 2 hours later being REFUSED a technician to come to the house unless I paid BEFORE the service was done. System has not worked completely for the last year. Customer service is horrible.

Was told that a "supervisor" is in a meeting and unavailable. Told them I would wait, and was told that it could be HOURS before I would be able to speak to a supervisor. Did some research online. Vivint looks to have turned into a very shady company!

This is the worse company ever! The sales agent would lie to you just to get a commission sale, then when you call to file a complaint no one cares. The sales rep Koy Randall lied and stated I wouldn't be in a contract for the equipment yet days later I get an email stating I agreed to a 60 month term contract.

I was like wth no sir, no one wanted to hear what I had to say, basically brushed me off. So I will be emailing the CEO of this company to inform him on how his employees knock on customer doors selling lies.

It's unfair and something needs to be done! They didn't offer to reduce my contract nor take it away completely just basically said it was my fault and hung up in my face.

I am reaching out to you to dispute a debt that I recently found went to collections.

I had service with Vivint at 4409 Aylesbury Dr Knoxville, TN 37918 and purchased ALL the equipment upfront so as to not be forced into any contracts. I was told explicitly that I could cancel at anytime. I was paying a monthly fee for monitoring services.

On July 1, 2022 I called Vivint and explained that I would be moving and no longer needed services. They said that they would need my new address. I explained that I did not need services at my new address. I told them explicitly that I wanted to cancel and that my closing date on the house was July 19th, 2022.

I had a very bad experience with the salesman, Don Le, lying to me about the Vivint System I signed up for. He lied about the cameras, added extra to the cost which he never mentioned. I had to research prices in order to discover I had been over charged.

$1700 of over charges which were put in a loan. I have since provided a NOC and my equipment was removed today. This salesman cannot be trusted. This was a horrible experience and I contacted DON LE by text telling him but he did not even care.

I will tell everyone I know to NOT sign-up for Vivint. My Service # was 9769658.

Also the Technician cut the electrical/power line to my older ADT Panel making it unusable to go back to ADT. This was a very disheartening experience. Is anyone trust worthy anymore?

The big problem started when I decided to add a camera to my existing devices. The camera was on sale for $299 I requested payoff @50 per month for 5 months. They not only charged me for the full Price of the camera, also full a payoff in one bill.

The bill is still not resolved and sadly after I was promised a return call, they have failed me. I want out of this contract as no one appears to be capable to resolve this matter.

Call to cancel account did so within 30 days notice as required, received confirmation accont was canceled no further fees will be do was authorized by a supervisor as told have the email and screen shot and save to file, next month's come accont been charged for service. Trying to cancel my service with Vivint and they will not cancel. Been on the phone for over an hour with them have talked to four people and either they continue to sweeten the deal to try and retain me or they tell me that they have to confirm that I have paid off my equipment which has been paid off since early 2022.

After all of that I was transferred again to a person that said I had to email them to get them to cancel. Buyer beware this company appears to be predatory. Never will I use this companies services again.

after the initial installation, we started to receive low batteries on all our sensors. Called what seemed to be a call center overseas. A representative was reading from a typed procedure. Wanting me to change batteries in all my sensors which is difficult because I'm a Disabled Army Vet.

I contacted the Representative that signed us up and one of the Tech came out and fixed the problem. Cleared the alarm and it was not the batteries. Few days later low batteries appears again. I did not bother to call in because of the experience with the call center.

Tonight I called in Thur. March 2nd. Explain to the Rep. She rebooted the system the display screen came back on. I told her about the low batteries. She insist that I change batteries on sensors. But the sensors are not visible.

Really hated to give them even a one star rating. When we transferred our Vivant service to our new home, it was installed by a idiot. My husband and I, both in our 80's made sure they were aware we DO NOT WALK.

This Old unit continues to make bong sounds when it needs batteries which I clearly told them we cannot install. He assured me they would come and replace the battery. They are supposed to come this Wednesday, March 1. It is a entire week that I had to call our son to disable that bong.

Would you say this is ADA compliant service?

Your companies are billing me for service I canceled via an area director of Vivint in Salt Lake City over 1 year ago!

I’m headed to EVERY CONSUMER COMPLAINT companies via TV in Texas and Utah plus the BBB and consumer protection agency/groups and blasting/plus going to start a cancel campaign against both companies for marketing misinformation, consumer abuse, consumer over billing, contacting all credit agencies - both companies have bad consumer practices of hang ups on customers, asking stupid questions and abusing customers!

I am pretty sure that you don't care, but I am very frustrated with VIVINT right now and on the verge of cancelling my services. I had an appointment to have another camera installed, I purchased the spot light camera and it was to be installed on Saturday 4th of February.

The technician contacted me Friday night the day before the installation of the new camera to be installed to verify the appointment and all was good. We were all set for him to come out between 12-4 on the 5th of February.

So I waited and waited and waited until 4:30 for him to show up and I contacted Sean the technician and he stated that they took it off his schedule. I asked why and he did not know. We installed in December of 2022 and one of our cameras was aimed the wrong way. We tried to adjust ourselves per our sales person. We were unable to move the camera-we called our sales person, he came out and tried to adjust it as well, he was also unable to move it.

He said he would get a technician out to fix it. We did not hear anything for several weeks. We again called and texted our salesperson, still nothing. When we finally contacted him he set up a tech to come fix it or replace it, whatever it took.

He sat it up for 1/19/2023. No one showed and no one called to let us know. We called again to our salesperson, Joseph Niger, when he finally answered he said he would call and get it straight. The next day he again did not answer calls.

When sales rep Jeff Welch approached me I explained to him that I was in no need of such services. Explained I was in process of decreasing expenses, a renter and sole responsible party with a son I care for whom is paralyzed from neck down.

As knowing any add on rented property cannot be removed and belongs to said property. He replied that his company was doing a promotion and he just wanted to place sign in yard and use as advertisement for his company -VIVINT.

Never once did he bring up any billing, pricing nor invoice for any service. Never ever brought up financing, applications for retail loan NOR permission to do any such loan or monthly billing. Signed up for loan and gave me bill for almost $4800 paying minimum.

I am very upset with the way vivint handle my account. They informed me of a installation date. After being approve through financing dept. When installer arrived at my home with all equipment ready to install vivint would not clear the installation because of some technical issue with finance dept.

I moved in may of 2021. I called today and my account was still listed at an old address that I have not been at for almost 2 years. If I had. An emergency it would have not even been at the correct address.

I am really upset still with your company. I ordered services, I took off work early which I definitely can’t afford to do considering I live alone. Your company never showed up nor called, nor emailed, no text nothing. When I called to enquire as to why I was given a host of excuses and lies.

I already can’t afford the services, but due to living alone need something in place. Really disappointed that even after the call back to ask me why I didn’t get it they were still trying to sell me. Bad business

When the phone rep sold me on vivint i was told that should we cancel the monitoring would be easy to cancel and that we will be responsible for paying off the equipment. Today, we called to do just that and were told the same thing. 11.

We paid, got the confirmation number and were transferred back to vivint. The call dropped after waiting on hold for 17 mins. We called back and reached Chris who told us we would have to pay another $ 657 for monitoring.

Recall, the prior two employees conveyed something different. We refused, had it escalated to Timothy the supervisor who said the same thing as Chris and who was very rude. We told him of the prior statements and he refused to listen.

We have TWO no soliciting signs on and by our door, yet VIVINT does not seem to care, The sign clearly indicates that not only do we not want whatever you are selling, but we also don't want to hear about any promotions or work being done in the area.

I had a salesman name Anthony find Arde agent 138550. Come stand on my front porch till I got home. He sit there and lied to me saying that they bought a DT and he had to come in and look at my system, which I hadn’t had active for 11 years and

then he sit there and lie to me and said if I put a sign in my front yard I get all my equipment free because of the sign I’m on disability and I was over 55 and then after he charged me why he was there for my first med security later on I found out someone on a computer signed a contract that was not my signature and

Vivint collected tax in the state of Oklahoma from a tax exempt customer. As of December 14 2022 no refund has been processed. Tax was collected in October 2022. This is against Oklahoma tax law and I am filing a formal complaint with the state of Oklahoma December 15, 2022.

Substantial penalty which far exceeds taxes kept will be leveled against Vivint. I have contacted numerous agents, resubmitted information over and over and still can not get this matter resolved - Debi Currie

The salesman ate scammers/fraud and say they bought ADT out and they need to updated your equipment’s even though you haven’t had service for over 11 year then lie to you telling the new equipment is free if you will advertise with a Vivint sign like your ADT sign, plus your over 55 years old and disabled.

Guess what, later on I find out someone docu-sign a contract and i have a $1500 loan for equipment never once spoken to me. Thieves taken advantage just to make money and their legal department told Better Business Bureau October 26, 2022 tgey would cancel contract and refund all money, nope never did, now reporting me to credit bureau

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. They rope people into insane contracts, get them to buy a ton of expensive equipment, finance that equipment, and then the equipment never works. after a year of constantly coming out to "fix" the equipment for free, they start to charge you for service visits.

I got the system out of fear. I was being stalked and I wanted to feel safe. I signed everywhere they told me to and bought everything they told me too because I was terrified and I trusted them.

If i could give zero stars i would regarding their customer service! A while back i was lied to about the police being sent to my home for a false alarm and Vivint tried to charge me for that. The police NEVER came to my house and I turned the alarm off within 30 seconds of it going off.

Your customer service is awful! Do you pay them to ruin peoples day? No one has any information that matches anyone else’s information. We sold our house in the spring. The security system went with the house. The equipment is paid for and we are not allowed to transfer this equipment to the new owners of the home?

Not only this but we have been quoted different amounts to get out of our contact. The new owner of the house is not allowed to start her own account. The police have been called several times to the home and she is helpless to stop this through the company.

Vivint sales rep named Frank Neston came to our home of 26th July 2022 and did solicitation of their Smart home security system and told we could try it and cancel it anytime if we didn't like their services. He told to provide any debit card and sign a contract prior to the installation to charge the initial setup cost which would be adjusted in the monthly bill month on month.
