On Nov, 20,2022 my home was broken into by Cody Hanson who is a vivnt rep in Orlando fl. I had just purchased the new system and was told my home was safe and secure by the same person who the next day broke into my home and used it for a motel to have sex with a woman when he lives with his wife and child in the area.

I found out he had watched my home for activity the next day was aware that I would be out of town. Hi my name is Franklin Hudson Phone#706-836-4309 I have had the home vivint alarm system for almost 2 years and have been very displeased (disappointed) with the amount of issues that I have had. Almost every month I have issues with my camera's being stuck, not being able to speak through my vivint app when someone is at the door.

I have an alarm system which I love. I thought I would get an indoor camera to keep an eye on my elderly mother. I had it installed the first week of October and it quit recording the 18th of October.

I was told doing my sales presentation that I had 3 months to try the security system now when I call they telling me I can cancel but I have to pay for equipment! I was never told this information now I am stuck with it.

I want to cancel everything. When I got into contact with the sales rep he said he didn’t remember and told me he couldn’t help. This is awful to sale me a product under false pretenses!

Our door entry stopped working after 5 months. We've been told there's a known problem with the equipment, but Vivint refuses to send out a service employee to replace it without a $50 charge. We've been told we have to replace ourselves.

Have has this system since 4thif July 2022. At first seemed lije it was a fit for our family. System problems one month in. The panel wasn't updated. Ok, done. Thenanither problem can't recall this one. A few weeks ago YET ANOTHER UPDATE!!

This is the most ripoff company. Even if you move and the equipment is paid off they won't let you get out of your contract. I have tried and tired. I cant even get into my account but they want me to pay $350 for canceling my account even though the equipment is paid off.

I you are going to be locked into for 60 months just know you have to live in the house or take all the equipment with you. you stuck. bad business. Be ware

Since day one I have had nothing but problems with Vivint security. I found out almost 2 months later after signing up and so-called installation that my installation was not even complete when I called in about one of my cameras not working.

So I was left unprotected thinking I was safe. They did credit me for 2 months but I still have ongoing problems viewing cameras while I'm at work even while I'm at home. I only see Gray at times. My cameras are constantly go offline.

I have to reboot my cameras almost every other day or at least three times a week. I have a Vivint Wi-Fi box so that is not the reason they tried blaming it on my spectrum wi-fi. Worst Company and Services ever. Ever since I got the Vivint Smart Home security system, the services have been poor and the customer service is even worst. I ended up having calls for over 2 hours on almost every interaction and kept getting transferred from one rep to the other.

From last 4 months I have been asking to cancel my services, but no one actions it and they keep saying that a Supervisor will get back. DO NOT EVER SUBSCRIBE TOTHEIR SERVICES, IT IS WORST! WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY!

The software sucks and is tardy slow. Doesn't give your realtime update when camera detects. Camera quality is poor.

Poor customer service, high pressure sales, faulty equipment have been my experience with this company. The salesmen come in the night after a long day of work when your most vulnerable with their high pressure sales tactics, then the installers follow immediately and get the equipment in, less likely to turn back at this point, boom your stuck!

Installers left my home around 12:30 AM. The equipment especially the cameras are not very reliable, constantly having to unplug and plug back in to get those to work, the reboot feature on the panel and app don't do anything, so

Customer service is horrible, the equipment works about half the time, the salespersons are liars and cheats. The BBB rates this company with an F, they have multiple lawsuits for deceptive sales practices, on and on…… My Night Owl cameras which cost a 10th of the vivint cameras are far more dependable.

We were contacted by this company to replace our ADT service. They misrepresented themselves at 1st leading us to believe they were associated with ADT. Anyway, we were told that they would buyout our ADT contract. 4 months later they have not.

I submitted the final bill to them on September 29,2022 and as of October 6,2022, ADT withdrew the final amount of the contract buyout. Vivint has not responded to any emails. The customer service number is a joke. They give you the run around.

Sales tactics may be legal as their representative, Max, informed me I had 30 days to change my mind. Contract small print said only 3 days. ’ I have attempted to make a complaint on 3 separate occasions to Max supervisor.

I no longer want your services and everytime i try to cancel the service i get the run around. My air or heat is not working thanks to your system and when i asked if they can come take it out and reinstall my thermostat they told me no they cat the equipment is mine and that my account has been cancelled.

I literally told them that its hot in my house being a tho its 90degrees where i am they still did not care. How am i supposed to install my own thermostat back that makes absolutely no sense when i, not the one that changes it in the first place.

I was billed for a purchase of the new Pro Camera twice, and hit my checking account for over $600 and I received an alert from my bank at 5:00am that I negative balance and had to wait to address this at 8:00 am, no sleep and as of today no refund, I was told it take time UNACCEPTABLE, Vivint took it in a day and

Customer service has been horrible after the first year after getting the system. The thermostats never stayed connected and the panel and DVR would lose connection all the time. The motion detector was set for our small dogs but we had to turn it off since it constantly went off even though our dogs are under 20 lbs.

The glass break detectors would go off when they barked. We called to cancel when the contract was up only to be told they would upgrade the panel and cameras to fix our issues at no cost in order to keep our business.

The service tech showed up today and asked for payment of over $600 for the equipment so we told them to leave and we were cancelling the service since we were lied to yet again. Never again will I deal with this company.

I had appointment to get my alarm fixed and they had a 4 hour window. They confirmed the appointment by text the night before. So after waiting 4 hours and nobody showing up I called and found out that my technician called in and therefore they just didn’t send anyone at all.

At some point after I had been on hold trying to get an appointment as soon as possible at a time when someone would be home as they continued to try and schedule me for a time when we worked. I saw the email that I was sent 2 hours into my 4 hour window stating that they had rescheduled me for an appointment a week later which was also for a time when we will be at work which nobody asked if that time was even ok or not they just took it upon themselves to do it.

The desk top computer that I have used for 5 years is now coming up un-registered. No problem the system sends me a 5 digit code to my old de-serviced phone. I see the notifcation but when I try to open it; it opens to the mobile app and there is no code that I can view.

I've tried for 2 days to get online and chat help to register my computer that should have never been listed as un-registered. On top of that when I call in to speak to your agent I have had 4 dropped calls and only 1 call back.

I own a rental home in which my renters installed a Vivint security system. The renters are moving out, and Vivint broke a window in my rental home when they were removing their equipment. I contacted Vivint, and they will only deal with the renters on this claim since the renters have the account with them.

It is unacceptable that Vivant will not deal directly with me regarding the damage that Vivant did to the house that I own. I regret that I allowed these renters to install a Vivint system. In the future, I would not allow another renter to install a Vivint system.

Worst experience w security company & I've dealt w many. I actually like Vivint products & was eager to install into my newly constructed home. It was a larger order- doorbell, 8 outdoor cameras 3-4 indoor cameras, 11 window sensors, 4 door sensors & misc additions.

My home is in Florida and currently I'm in Georgia. So I explained this to thoroughly to Vivint scheduler and appointment was set up for Monday, 8/15/22. Vivint informed me that it was ~10hr job so make sure I was present. No one showed.

Horrible customer service. I called to cancel my account, they said to submit a form, I did right away. The guy never mentioned it takes 30 days told me it will take couple days. I got a charge on my card, he told me that it will get reimbursed once the account is cancelled.

It’s been 38 days and I got charged again. I called the girl told me it will take 30 days I told her it’s been 38 days. She told me not to worry it will all get reimbursed. Asked her when it will get cancelled I’m tired of being charged.

I would like to file a complaint against Vivint Home Security System. My door handle for Vivint stopped working. I called and I was sent a new one. The new one came with a label but required a code in order to return it. I called the company and explained the situation and requested a return label. m very disappointed with the service I receive from Vivint. Calling customer service can oftentimes be a joke. I am having the same problem again with my service going off-line. It disrupts things in my household. My doorbell doesn't work, the doorbell makes a loud buzzing sound, the microphone echos and makes a scratching sound, the cameras do not record continuously and more.

I have 2 cameras that have been offline for approximately 3 weeks. I called and vivint said it was the bridge to the cameras. I received the parts and vivint said it will be a month until someone can come to replace.

Our account was on suspension due to Tornado Damage to the house in December. We moved back into the house and I called today to re-activate the service. It took 24 minutes of being transferred and put on hold several times, and the service is still not re-activated.

It should not take 24 minutes on the phone for a simple request to re-activate service (no new equipment needed, no new address, no new billing information). It just needed to be re-activated. I should not have to spend 24 minutes on the phone, and then be told it has to be processed and will take several days. Thanks

I dealt with the most inconsiderate sales person I've ever met. Vivint, you have hired someone to represent your company that does not respect others. He did not respect the "No Soliciting" sign that is clearly visible on my door, he did not take no for an answer after being told repeatedly that we were not interested and lastly, he had the nerve to ask for water. On three seperate occassions, 2 different salesman have been in my neighborhood and came to my door. On all 3 occassions, the salesman were asked to leave my property in which they continued knocking on my door. I have a dog that is aggressive toward anyone near the front door.

I went to the window on 2 occassions and asked for the 1st salesman to leave my porch. He proceeded to try to talk to me through the window about nonsense and yard ornaments I have. I advised him that I already have a smart home to include cameras, doorbell, video, lights, and motion sensors.

A tech has been out here twice. The first time a tilt sensor was installed it set off two false alarms. A tech came back out and 'replaced' it. He never even connected. I have had a tech out here twice and then someone came out today who asked me how I was liking Vivint and I was very honest with him and told him it's the worst customer service I have experienced. New cameras came out and we tried to add 3 more and they wouldn’t work. They said if I added to new cameras there would be spotty service and wouldn’t allow us any credit on old cameras on new ones.

Would not recommend I have ADT at my store and I am gonna get it here too. Always been skipping video footage and never informed us that we were over the limit on DVR and now new cameras won’t work with them and I have to buy new ones with no credit.

We signed up with Vivint Nov-21. We purchased three outside cameras and within a year, two out of three are no longer online. I called our salesperson, but he did not take my call. I tried texting and nothing. I finally got ahold of customer service and they wanted me to unplug the offline cameras from the power source.

One power source is in the garage, which was easy to get to. I unplugged/plugged the power source and clearly you could see it was not getting power. The service rep asked me to repeat steps in the attic. Nope! 00.

After being a 20+ year customer of what became ADT, my wife and I moved. I decided to switch from ADT to Vivint for our new home. Mistake.

We started our service in September 2021. Either in late September or October, I made my first call about the Vivint Thermostat. Because it failed to recognize my wife was home when I left. So when I left home, the thermostat was reset to a colder temperature. I called Vivint, spoke to a tech, and reset the thermostat. That didn't fix the problem. Because I also missed a feature I had with my Honeywell thermostat at the old home, I ended up replacing the Vivint thermostat with a Honeywell.

I called Vivint to return the thermostat and spoke with someone who said I'd be getting a return shipping label to return the thermostat, but it might take a month…
