Vincent sent a technician with COVID to my home and then installed a system that's not working and now they have the nerve to tell me I have to pay 220 to have the technician repair a broken camera just installed 5 days ago. It's a riot off!!!
They appeared at my house around 8:00pm which I'm sure is after company hours. I signed up and was told that someone will be coming to install the equipment. They arrived aroud 10:30 pm which is also not business hours.
They were in my home until about 12;30 am the next morning. I had to ask them to leave because I had to work the next morning. They came back the next day and had to finish what they started the day before.
I was forced to sign paperwork stating the work was completed when it wasn't. My cameras weren't positioned as I requested, the main source of control (HUB) wasn't fully activated. I contacted the salesman and the contractors to have this matter resolved.

Dec 22 I had hired Viviant to set up a home safety protection system because I was leaving to go to Florida for a month during Christmas. A tech named Aaron Williams from Waldorf MD came to my house with a man identified as Nick Taylor and installed a security system in my house.
I had paid for cameras and the service via Arron Williams with my TD Bank ATM card. Nick Taylor installed the door and break glass connectors in the garage. Within a day of me leaving to go to Florida my house was broken into and I had continued break in's during the time period I was in Florida.
I had two more cameras that I paid for that was to have been shipped after leaving for Florida and asked to have it delayed. I later found out that the Camera's were delivered while I was still home and had been taken…

I had several false alarm from my security system that is only a few years old. I had to delete the sensor from the panel because bypassing would reactivate the sensors on its on and false trigger the alarm. it took several weeks to get a technician appointment.
Granted they gave me 1 month free monitor service and told i would be the first appointment on 07 April 2022. It is more than an hour from the 0800 start time and still no call. I call the service center and the local Huntsville support (Mr.

Have had issue over the past year bc I refuse to go into another contract with Vivint to purchase a new panel when this one works fine. Every time a tech comes out they fix an issue and a day later more issues pop up.
Feels like sabotage to me in order to force me into another contract to pay for a panel. These practices put me family and I in jeopardy as of now 3/3/22 we had a tech come out to fix a door sensor issue and the next day all the sensors in my house went inactive and I can’t set the alarm now.
We can start out with the pure deception when your salesman arrived at my house, the destruction of my property upon installation, the non-stop harassment and lies that have been told by your customer service department and the bullying trying to force me to comply with your illegal tactics. Your company preys on senior citizens. I now have an alarm system that does not function, I've been turned over to a collection agency, and nothing left to do now except to start writing the Attorney General and my governor to ask for help.
On December 26, 2021 I contacted your company to install a program that would work with the program that was already installed in my home to use my doorbell (RING) and to open my garage door (Chamberlain). I was told that your system would do this.
Your technician came out and stayed most the day. He ended up having to install a different doorbell and could not get my garage door to connect to the system. After installing door chimes and water sensors and your monitor (because mine wouldn't work with your system) he told me to contact our internet provider to have an extender put in.

I am so frustrated with Vivint. I have been trying to get my system installed for over a month. The technician was terrible with my first appointment so I called and complained and then they sent the same technician out who was still terrible and never finished any of my install.
I was charged for equipment that is sitting on my cupboard with no install and no solution. He didn't even hook up the recording function of my cameras. u I am beyond done with vivint. I attempted to contact the rep who sold the equipment to me originally and they have not responded.

Horrible service with Vivint. Although their monthly fees are relatively low, their alarm system triggered several false alarms over the duration of a few months. Spoke with a technician over the phone who said they have pushed an update to our system to fix this issue as there were potentially bugs with our system.
It hasn't happened since the update, but because our alarm was triggered three times at our store when no one was there, we were fined by the City. Explained the situation to Vivint and they would not take responsibility.
Worse alarm system ever!! The alarm siren is super quiet. The door sensors are super quiet. The cameras are ALWAYS lagging. The cameras always detect bugs so all night my phone is going off for movement detection. POINTLESS! My car got hit outside my house at the end of MY DRIVEWAY and the cameras did not catch anything at all!

I registered a complaint. over a week ago. I requested service and was told you no longer send out technicians and will not replace the paper work which was thrown out by mistake with Christmas wrappings. You have no problem collecting my payment every month.

My cameras are blurred and my monitor is blacking in and out we have ask them to help to get it fix but they will not. This system is not good it is the worst. We are under contract still but need some help.
When you are having a problem they want to you to run and do test instead sending a technician out. When the test fail they tell you are in a cue. They can’t tell you when you will see a technician.
My niece is having this issue as we speak. One agent said the technician would be there with 24 hours and now they are saying she is in a cue for technician. This very piss poor because they want their money when they want it!

Originally in July of 2020 I contacted Vivint and requested to move my alarm system from one address to another being I was moving to a new location. Instead of moving the equipment the Vivint technician convinced me I could get a new system on my new home for little to nothing being I was already a Vivint customer.
The entire sell went through a third party Vivint employee. I was told that I was paying about $1500 for the entire new system along with upgraded equipment. This was a phone sell while the technician was inside my home installing the equipment.

We order a indoor camera . When we got it we was to call and make an appointment. Which I did. Ever time I called to get an appointment they would tell me I had a appointment and no one would never show up. It happened twice.
Spoke to a representative and she promised me she would get to the bottom of it and call me back that never happened. Poor customer service.
5-years. My review prompted a reaction from Vivint who finally sent a technician to my home and they fixed all the issues which were created at the original install. It took awhile but the system now functions properly. I wanted to reflect an improved rating since this business is attempting to improve my customer experience.

He did not explain that you all would be opening up a credit card as I am currently in chapter 13 bankruptcy and can not open up any new credit lines without prior approval from my trustee and attorney as I will be I violation of my bankruptcy order.

5-years and have never had a properly functioning security system. Each time I call they set me in hours of me completing their troubleshooting and technical support, that never ends. It’s the biggest scam I’ve ever been involved with. They give you hours of pointless task with a person on the phone in India (w/ a baby crying in background) and just keep instructing you to get more tools to disassemble yet another hardware component until eventually you hang up.

I'm Adam MacDonald. I recently became a Vivint customer. I have some issues with it. The technicians that came to my house one was knowledgeable and one wasn't. The new guy stepped through my ceiling and made a huge hole in it.
It was a brand new house just purchased a month ago. I have a claim on it now but the 2 options given by Vivint were just ridiculous.
Also when we finally got the account figured out after 3 hours of being on the phone. There service call window was 4pm to 8 pm they left at 1045 pm. I purchased the self install kit. Upon placing the order i notified the customer service agent that i will not be moving until a certain date and to send the kit to the current address not the new address. i was informed that i would not be charged until it was installed and that was a lie!!!

Vivint is a terrible company! I tried to cancel the contract with them but they would not let me cancel it. I moved and my new apartment does not allow this security system on the premises. They didn’t care and although I don’t use it anymore they are still charging me.

I have been having issues with my alarm system for over two months. I called in several times for assistance to no avail. Eventually I was sent an alarm for the front door. I installed it, the Atari still said front door open and I could not set the alarm.

A few weeks ago I switched from ADT to Vivent. Installation was 2 weeks ago. The man was late due to another job. He also left my attic windows wide open for any animal to crawl in. In addition, he refused to put up glass break alarms even though I asked many time.
Now, the Alarm goes off randomly when not armed. It’s been reset multiple times. I’ve called atleast 10 times. Neighbors complain . My baby’s ears are affected. My ears are ringing. Every time I call, I just get a reboot. No solutions!
I want my money back as I paid for a service not given!
The worse company in my life damaged my home and then they sent the same tech back to my house after he was the one to damaged my home and then he left with out installing back my other equipment left wires all out of my wall if one of my kids stick wire where the electricity at im going sue vivinit.

I am in the middle of a contract with Vivint (monitoring) that still has 27 months remaining. I have long ago given up on trying to use the system as it has proven to be waste of time. I have had Vivint technicians into my home on several occasions each promising that they will fix my system "right" and that the other technician did not know what he/she was doing. No repair ever works.
In less than a week after a repair, the system again shows error codes, from low batteries (changing the battery does not solve the problem), to sensors showing doors are open when they are not. It is just not one sensor, or one battery, it is continual and multiple equipment defects and I cannot stress enough that I have had Vivint here on multiple occasions to address to solve the issues.

Horrible service. I paid over $3,800 for installation and waited over 2 1/2 months for installed. I confirmed the week of for install and was told good. Next day received a text saying it needs to be rescheduled. I called over 6 times and was told will get back to you with no response. I kept calling and the person that was to be working with the installation teams was always out. 2 days later received another text that it would take another 4 mos before install. Who will wait 6 mos for an install. After calling multiple times I got them to credit my account and also disputed the charge with the credit company.

I wrote a complaint (the same complaint) a week ago, and Vivint has still NOT rectified the situation. For two weeks my doorbell is ringing when there is no one there. I have called Vivint 3 times, to no avail.
The third time I called, I requested a technician, and that request went ignored. If the scale rating above, had a rating of zero, that is what their customer service dept. would receive.
On May 26 2020 I switched from ADT to Vivint, big mistake. 99 for is not working and why my home still goes unsecured. I've been met with resistance, anger and representatives hanging up on me each time I call to complain or get someone at my home.
Vivint charges the customer full price for service and equipment it the customer cancels before the end of the contract, but what legal course of action can the customer take if Vivint is in breach of contract? I'm very upset and also disappointment in the lack of care and attention that this situation is being given.
I'd definitely like to speak with a supervisor and not be hung up on because Vivint has been busted in dirty dealings or business processes.
We have cameras set up at a Safe House for women who have been traumatized and far too often the cameras are not communicating with the panel and we can see who is running around outside the building and can't see what's happening at the doors. This system is not worth the 100 dollars a month we're paying as it's down more often than working.
The frustration is so high with Vivint. We call in and spend hours over and over again messing with everything. I am SO UNHAPPY. I am ready to change my bank account and refuse to pay for service any longer.

Was told when bought equipment if relocated it would be moved and reinstalled no problem. No mention oh almost 300 dollars to do so. When live on limited income this info was important. Feel misled or purposely lied to. I have posted on Facebook to beware of this company.

Solar was installed 08/14/19. Has not functioned since 09/2020. I contacted Vivant in April, 2021 informing them something was wrong with my system. They had no idea it was not functioning. That alone told me they do not monitor from their end.
Have contacted Vivant Solar serveral times - not resolution as of today. Customer service is claiming they are waiting on an inverter for the system. Each time I call customer service I am told someone will call me within 3 - 4 days for an update. That hasn't happened yet.
