Quoted me one price, charged me another. When we tried to fix it, we got the run-around from their customer services. After 3 weeks and hours on the phone, we gave up and deactivated their system. Now they refuse to acknowledge cancellation of service because they say we owe them money (but they never corrected their overcharging us).

Young man named Blake came to my door at 8pm. I greeted him and said - I know you're selling something and honestly I'm not interested in anything right now. Also, I'm entertaining company. I should have just closed the door in his face - unfortunately for me I have better manners than that.

He continued - do you know Diana down on the corner - are you the homeowner - just very intrusive. Then when I said I'm really not interested - he turned while I was speaking and walked away!! So unbelievably rude, inconsiderate, and intrusive.

In the past I've actually considered looking into Vivint - but not via door to door sales. I will NEVER EVER consider them again!! NEVER!!

As of today my cameras are still not functioning, this has been going on for months. I'm very disappointed and upset about the service I have been receiving. No one is willing to assist with fixing the issues, however they are continuing to take monthly payments.

My equipment is not working. I have spoke with numerous individuals and no one has dispatched the Technician out to my house. The loyalty department is telling us one thing and nothing. Today I spoke with Travis G. he stated to me my work order was closed again, without my knowledge.

Now this is the 4th work order that was cancelled. Do you even care about the customer? He assurance me that a Tech would be out today and now Paula is telling me it will be July 7th . I will be reporting Vivint to the Better Business Bureau.

Mr Cooper, Good day. I am Marcia Williams and I have a problem with your company that I joined 5 years 1 month and 3 days ago. After 3 yrs I asked that the system be disconnected. I was told it couldn't be until the contract ends. 90.

The contract ended on May 23, 2021. I did all I was asked to do, and was told it would be done in 30 days and there would be no cost. It's now 33 days and a monthly payment has been deducted from my acct.

I feel like I am being forced to keep a system I no longer need and that my acct is being hijacked. I feel like a hostage to vivint. Please have this matter resolved at the earliest possible time. I have spoken to almost everyone in the company and no action.

I am completely frustrated by your sales representative, Chad. He came to our home a week ago Wednesday and although he talked of the benefits to your security system and the superiority of the security system he also was extremely high pressure.

We did agree to buy from him and he immediately had a tech come in to install a portion of the system but the tech installed the complete order that evening, which delayed us having dinner until 10 PM. Chad had advised us that he would return the following day to advise us how to use the system and program it into Alexa and the app on our phones.

A customer for over a decade and cancelled service on April 26th, moved April 28th, paid through May 4th. Repeated harassing calls and texts from the company that we have an account that is delinquent. It isn't, we call, we explain, we provided proof with phone records and email of the cancellation and each representative said they will resolve and calls/texts will cease - they have not.

Each day is another call to the same departments with the same explanation and no resolution. I've asked for a manager or anyone in authority to remove the account and any faux charges. No one will transfer me - all have assured me it is resolved, and it never is.

I tried calling corporate and can't get to the management. Their services and products are expensive but good, and if you are an active…

This company is the worst experience I had. There is no way you can sale security equipment & have the unprofessional deceiving service. There is an issue with my service a technician came out to my home & verified what was wrong & your customer service even contacted the technician by email & still denies the issue.

Nothing has been good. I was lied to from the beginning. The door to door saleperson told me 2 year contract and then rushed us through the process. We shortly after realized we signed on for about 5 years. But vivint told us there was nothing they were willing to do.

We then dealt with poor customer service and spotty connections for over 2 years after and they were never willing to do anything for us. Anytime we called it was rude people who didn't care about us at all. They don't care that they lied and they don't care that they are screwing over thousands of people.

I would never ever recommend them to my worst enemy. My parents had them first and they even were told if they referred us that they would get some money back and stuff but when we got our system hooked up my parents…

One of your employees knocked on my door just now. I opened the door, saw the uniform, and immediately told him I wasn't interested and that I was busy. He kept pushing for when he should be back, I told him never to come back.

He started to catch an attitude with me. I asked for his name, then saw his badge. " He used a smart-assed tone in his reply, and I had to aggressively tell him to leave my porch twice before he slowly walked away, running his mouth until he turned the corner.

00 late fee each month for something that was paid on time. I will never refer anyone else to Vivint. When you call to speak with a supervisor the CSR refuse to transfer the call to a supervisor. I think the company is a rip-off.

I will be glad when we are done paying for the system. If I had know I would these many problems I would have stayed with ADT. This was the biggest mistake that I’ve ever made.

A salesman came to my residence and told me since I was a loyal, long time Vivint customer, I was going to be rewarded with an upgraded system, after agreeing to everything he wanted to do never, informing me that it was going to cost me over $2000, I assumed, because of the way he pitched it, I was getting upgraded, because I had and old system, until it was all said and done, which I reluctantly agreed to, and him telling me I was going to keep everything that I already had installed plus a new panel, outdoor cameras, a doorbell camera and a Nest thermostat.

We send an email with all the information a vivint representative told us was needed to cancel our month to month account. 3 days later we received an email verifying they received our request. A month later they tried to bill us. I called vivint.

Representative said yes the account was closed and apologized. May 2 days ago I called again and was again told the same thing, account is closed. Yes an online chat today said our account is still active. The online chat went from saying they were with the billing department to they were only technical support once I stated the problem.

For over a month, my Vivint smart home doorbell and camera have been malfunctioning. Each time I tried to call, the prolonged wait time caused me to hang up. I finally got through on 5/4 & was on the line with a rep for 45 minutes.

After many diagnostic exercises, the camera & doorbell were reset to factory defaults. The problems continued. I made another three calls before talking to someone again on 5/11. More diagnostics, no improvement, & on 5/12 a repair work order was issued for a service call today between 12 & 4 pm.

No technician by 5:15, so I called & was told the work order was canceled. I did not cancel it. ) would call me back in about 10 minutes. Over one hour later, no call.

I have contacted Vivint several times about a camera issue and bad battery on main panel. I was on line 1st time an hour and 40 min unloading the camera and loading it back on going inside to the panel and outside to the camera and still didn't work.

The battery issue still wasn't fixed either. My power went out for 2 hours and the panel went dead so I had no security. They called the next week and I was on the phone another 35 minutes but they got the cameras working and wanted me to take the front panel off and look at the battery.

I could not get the screw loose on top and neither could my husband and they said they couldn't send someone out until I opened it so they could see if something wrong with the battery. I said this happened couple years ago and they came out and replaced it…

I cancelled my services on March 31st via email as prompted by Customer Service. I called on April 30th to follow up and was told that my service was still active. I will not be paying this bill and look forward to a zero balance and account closed letter.

I purchased Vivint system in January 2021. 99 a month. 99. 00 and admitted the mistake. Today I called, because after the past issues with their billing, I can’t trust them to do an automatic payment. 99. 99 that is not what I agreed to.

99 that I agreed to or you will no longer receive another payment for me. 99 and that’s what it will remain. I informed him they will not receive one more payment from me ever again disconnect the service. When I called them back in March I told them to disconnect the service because I was so unhappy with the service I was getting.

So they pacified me gave me my $15 off and then up the bill to $45 a month. Your company will not now nor ever receive another payment from me. I want this disconnected and there better not be one thing on my credit bureau…

Services were switched to my name back in September. The previous account holder was still being billed as well as me. Both of our accounts were transferred to collections. The previous account holder should have not been billed as the account was transferred to my name.

I paid the billed and all my receipts went to her email and they keep calling her. The money was applied to a different account and not mine. My services are still not active. I spoke with someone and it was supposed to be fixed as a priority and my services are still inactive.

I am very upset about this. I have called numerous of times and all they say is it is being fixed. No one has contacted me instead they keep contacting the previous account holder

And now they have pulled out all my money in my account and I can’t get anyone to help me been on phone for 5 hrs total with only 30 min of that was taking to a live person. I’m beyond what to do but file at the BBB and talk to my brother who is an attorney to move forward with legal actions.

” He knocked on our door asking about our camera system. And soo then we made conversations cause we were interested. And soo then he made his way to come into our home, without asking. He didn’t not even have a Business card or anything.

He tried to convince us to get the camera systems. And we repeatedly told him we were ready, and to just give us his contact information. But he just insisted on asking our information and SSN. Vivant installation at my home was very poor. The system was removed with in a five day period due to non- completion of installation and non-responsiveness of complaints to customer service. 00 taken from my account has not been returned.

Customer Service had equipment pull from my home , however we have not heard form anyone on our refund. We had over nine phone call to service center with at least 45 minute to 1 hour wait, per call and nothing was never resolved. e.

Talked with Vivint in October on installing a doorbell camera and troubleshoot my panel because I'm experiencing a delay in the services. They scheduled me for an appt on Nov. 11th to which no one showed. I contacted Vivint after being home all day and they stated "Oh yes, so there's an emergency and the person will not be there today.

They then rescheduled me for an appt "TWO WEEKS" later. I told them that was too long to wait for someone to come and install a camera. They stated that they would escalate the appt and someone would call me to reschedule before Nov. 23rd.

Received no call to escalate the appt and today Nov. 22nd someone shows up to my home without notice. So apparently they escalated my appt one day earlier and didn't bother to contact "Me" to see if I'd be available.

I had a rep approach my home because of it's location. I kept telling the rep i wasn't interested, but he broke me down with frustration. Had it installed, had several problems with it before it was even fully installed and it has been that way since.

Tried to get it cancelled but kept getting told they would fix it. They pushed it out so far, that now i'm stuck with this equipment that's never worked correctly. i would never recommend this company.

Tried calling Vivint today to report a false alarm. Went through the correct prompts. Waited on hold for 20 minutes before someone answered the phone. In the meantime the fire department was despatch to my home. (Had a contractor in my home doing work.

) Because of the hold time I now will be billed a false response fee. Spoke with a manager at Vivint name Tanner who was no help at all. Not happy with Vivint at all. Please address this as soon as possible.

We have been trying to get our vivint account disconnected since July of this year, Initially, we were not asked to send in a email requesting disconnection of our account. Subsequently, in August our account was drafted the monitoring fee. Another call was placed to Vivint requesting disconnection someone name Michael made my wife feel like she was the victim instead of assisting. I literally had to scream at this guy to get him to leave me alone. Super weird experience. He used my first name and tried to convince me that the Home Owner Association approved him putting a free camera on my house.

I checked with them and they have NOT given them permission or my name or address. They are reporting it to the police as we live in a “No Solicitation Neighborhood”. Super weirded out by the video of him basically casing out my house before he approached me as I stood in my back side yard.

We have been a customer for quite awhile. I called your service number a couple of months ago, about a couple of issues. They would not put us on a list for service, they wanted to talk about issues and sending me equipment for repairs.

I will not do repairs to existing equipment. If you don’t want to send a service rep you can cancel our account. I’ve had others approach us to change providers. If I don’t hear from you soon, I will again contact you to cancel our service.

A sensor on my garage door went out in JANURARY of 2018. I called Vivint and was told that since it was part of another company, they wouldn’t replace it. Now, mind you, they didn't mind using it to save money when they installed my system, but okay.

I was told that corporate would have to approve its replacement and they would get back to me. Time passed and i forgot about it until JULY of 2018. I called back and was told that the replacement part was approved and it was shipped two weeks prior. No call from Vivint.

Fast forward, it’s now NOVEMBER 28th of 2018 and still no sensor. 00 credit for my inconvenience. They have no regard for you, your family’s safety, or customer satisfaction. When my service is up, I will go with another service altogether. 00 dollars a month.

I canceled my service due to selling my home, I contracted VIVIANT to come and remove my system which I purchased outright without a contract and sent my cancellation notice to the correct department. On December 20th, 2017, my bank account was charged without my authorization and everyday I call and still can’t get it corrected or my money back for services not rendered and now get collection calls.

I have never experienced such service in my life. Every time I talk to someone they assure my they can fix it, the next day it’s all wrong! Don’t ever trust this company!!!!

Hello, I want to share how disappointed I am in your service. I have had the system for several years. It is often NOT working. I work long days, gone at least 12 hours. I do not like having to have servicemen come ‘fix’ the system.

I live alone so trying to schedule someone to come is difficult. I should not need to have them come so often. The last time I had it ‘fixed’ it worked one week. That was several months ago. I had called before to discontinue the service, [I agreed to continue with Vivint a little longer] and I was never told that I was on contract for another 3 years.

I just got of the phone with a representative and he told me I am ‘stuck’ [my words] with you guys for 3 more years. He tells me he can send someone to ‘fix’ it and he won’t charge me.

My compllaint is one, I was told that I had signed a contract till 2021. This was over two months ago. I asked for a copy of the contract and as of today 10/10/2018 I have still not received it.

I have asked that someone tell me how to fix or someone come repair my door that says low battery. We have replaced the batteries several times and it still says low battery. Now it says the camera is off line, I have rebooted the panel now it says to reboot the router I am out of state this is a problem.

First last winter the thermostat quit and at first they said it would be replaced but then when the repairman came out he said he had fixed it and left. Now you have to understand that last winter was really cold(15 degrees with a lower wind chill factor) It quit that night again and I was told that they could not back for three days and they were sorry, really!

They cut back on their repairmen in the winter and could do nothing sooner. I was without heat for three days except for a heater my neighbor let me use, can you believe that! I cantact the custumer services several times and they are telling me that I will get within few days, 6 moths later stil no refund I contact the customer services 15 times and i always need to tell them the story every time it look s like they never write any comments about my issue on the computer.

the last time I tell them that I need a physical check because they are failed to send the check. thank you
