Recently my Vizio smart cast started goofing up upon start up. I would click Hulu, Netflix, or other apps but smart ast would freeze up, that is until it all the sudden loads an ad for a streaming service or a movie or show.

I DO NOT wish to have these ads forced upon me. It also takes 2 minutes or more sometimes just to load the ad. I never agreed to this, stop showing me these ads or I’m getting a different tv and this one will be in a landfill somewhere, getting you NO views!

Knock off the forced ads!!! This is completely unacceptable!!!

Tv purchased was delivered damaged. They sent a technician who said it would be picked up and replaced. He lied. The company when we called to find out said it was a non manufacturing defect. But it was delivered like that so it was their own fault.

So to leave a 70" tv that they didn't want to accept responsibility for is ludicrous.

I called vizio customer service 3/10/23. I purchased 2 tv's from vizio both were delivered 11/2/23. I am getting a someone fuzzy not sharp color picture on both. Customer service wanted to trouble shoot which I reluctantly agreed to. I am elderly and have difficulty with this.

He couldn't figure out what was wrong either. He consulted with a colleague a few times. I went through all the prompts he gave me numerous times. Then he wanted to do a factory reset. I did not set up the tv originally myself. Because I cannot.

I also had someone go through everything with color and sharpness they could not fix it. I asked if a technic ian could be sent out . He said no. I would have to get someone else to talk to vizio customer service to do the factory reset.

Retired single female on a limited budget !!! I purchased 2 Vizio TVs in the last year & half & my main 55” tv lost its sound this week & was unable to retrieve it after all resources! First TV had to be returned due to lines going across it. Luckily warranty was still valid.

Second TV will not connect to internet. Spoke with customer service. Been waiting 4 days for aupporr to call us back. AND tv is at summer house so hasn't even been been being used. Now we r trying to use it and can't. Absolutely horrible customer service.

Customer service is a joke! I've talked to 5 different people and a manager by the name of Grey Williams about the problems with my tv. Grey Williams said he would call me back in a couple of hours after he had the Received the proof of purchase and a picture of the tv.

I sent it and He never called!! I called numerous times and left voice mails which were never returned. I received a call yesterday 12/15/2022. and said they had a resolution to my tv problems and to call back. I bought a 70” tv from Walmart in December. I can’t find the receipt so I went to Walmart yesterday to see if they could pull it up. They told me they could not that I’d have to contact Vizio.

Yesterday I called and explained what was going on. She told me I’d have to contact Walmart because I need the receipt. So I asked to speak to a supervisor which only works Monday through Friday. She assured me that they would call me first thing this morning.

I didn’t receive a call so I called them late this afternoon. Got told the same except in her notes it showed I received an email which I did not. S.. if you can’t back your product you should not be in business.

Vizio has the worst customer service. I have been through three TV replacements and they tell me I'll have to wait 3 months to get a check for a refund and in those 3 months I will be without a TV.

I bought a 70 inch v series that has been nothing but junk with each one the repair technicians that come to my home to fix it had told me that Vizio is basically false advertising while their TVs are truly doing. They're low in TVs do not put out what they are supposed to and Vizio does not want to send me a better model seeing that I have been through three different replacements each time.

There was a software upgrade to my Vision Smart cast TV and it has completely disabled my tv which was just recently purchased. The unit is stuck in setup mode after hard reboot after all other attempts to fix failed. 00.

Which leads to a moral question. Why am I paying for tech support on a recently purchased TV and fixing it on my time? I'm spending more time fixing than watching. The blogs are full of examples of same situations following update from Visio.

iii used to like my vizio tv. iits only a couple mos. old. but now ever since about a week ago if i want to watch the so called free vizio tv i have to pay. what happened to free?

and now that i chose not to pay , my tv is all screwed up. it shuts off by itself. no matter what i try to do with it you guys are controlling it. i have to keep switching my HDMI cable back and forth every time i turn it on.

Purchased a Vizio 55 inch M7 Series 4K.

First one was technical glitches. Retailer replaced it as within 30 days. 2nd one died in 3 days. The third replacement would try to turn on then off at night intermittently. The 4th one actually did turn on and stay on until I got out of bed to turn it off.

I requested refund over replacement number 5. That was like pulling teeth. Vizio has had my tv and not refunded my money. There is no one to talk to. I am waiting for a query into it. I emailed execs at the company and got no response.

The people that answer the phone can only say they will escalate. They have taken my money and consumed so many days of my time swapping tv's and with emails and phone calls. They really consume the consumer. They should be called Vipers not Vizio.

v. and same result . My first , I got the warranty but ended the same. I took one more chance with v585-h11 but one year and three months later , I got a white screen and black lines ,no visible picture. v. `s 27 inch.

We used to love Vizio products until we purchased a TV in October. The TV was rarely used. We used it intially for one week in October. When we turned it on again in December the entire corner of the TV screen looked like it was cracked.

(Wasn't cracked on the exterior and TV was never moved or touched after we set it up). It was to late to return to the dealer we purchased it from and they advised us to go thru you as the TV had a one year warranty. What a scam.

They "diagnosed" the TV thru a picture we sent on our phone. We were advised it was caused by the TV being moved. I can promise you we never touched it after we initially set it up. You even advised that it may occurred during the shipping of the TV but it didn't show up until now.

We bought 50 inch Smart TV. There were problems with the screen after just six weeks. We contacted customer support about having a new TV delivered, set up and the old one taken away. We were lied to every step of the way about the service they would provide us.

We talked with someone who could not speak English which caused additional problems (TV was shipped to the wrong address). We talked with the manager, Nico, who also lied to us multiple times about the service we were requesting.

Bought one of their 24” smart TVs for my wife to have in the kitchen, bought it in June, went bad in September, contacted them had to go through some contortions with customer service to see if they could get it to work after which I was then required to send them a picture of the screen, after which they said yea we got it now we need the receipt which.

After a few more weeks I received a new TV and a return pkg, packed it up sent it back and that tv lasted 6 months. According to their warranty the replacement product is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty, I understand that approach, when you make defective product you don’t want to have to replace it multiple times, so I’ll give them that.

We purchased a defective 75-inch Vizio TV and an additional 3-year warranty. On 6/2020, we called Vizio due to problems with the TV: dark horizontal lines across the screen, intermittent sound loss, intermittent shutdown, and it takes 5-6 attempts to turn on.

We emailed images documenting the issues. During the 4 weeks of emails and phone calls, Vizio representatives were rude. ” The representatives also offered us the option to choose between 2 replacement models: P75-F1 or P759-G1 and they emailed links to specifications for each.

Based on the information they sent and reviews, we chose the P759-G1. They sent a confirmation with a service request link and saying the shipment might be delayed due to covid but the links did not work. We called to check the status.

I have purchased 2 vizio TV for our bedrooms. They are the biggest pieces of junk that I wasted my money on. It turns on when it wants to, it connects to the internet when and if it wants to.

Keep in mind I have 3 other LG tvs that are connected to the same wifi without issues. Once every three days I have to do a number of functions because the TV states that Smart Cast is not available.

I have to unplug and plug back in the TVs everyother day because it will not turn on with the remote. I will never purchase another Vizio product. One TV i can understand, but the issues are with both.

I purchased a 70 inch Vizio SmartCast TV on 3/24/17. I hung the TV on my wall and that is where it stayed. I couple months ago I noticed there were dark spots on the screen. I then put a blank blue screen on and can clearly see where the TV is darker on the upper right hand side of the TV.

I then contacted Vizio and they are telling me that the TV that I purchased 2 years ago that has never moved from my living room wall is now out of warranty and it would be cheaper for me to purchase a new one than to have it fixed. I will never buy a Vizio TV again and I've purchased more than 5 Vizio TVS in the last couple of years. The screen had lines down it and then went black. I filed everything as needed and provided pictures.

They responded at first that the screen was cracked, that was false there was nothing wrong with the front screen. They then said there was pressure put on the screen, which was incorrect because it was wall mounted and never touched.

I will spread the word on how terrible their claims dept is and let others know never to buy one of these TVS again. Ive always talked highly of them, but now they just lost a great customer.

We have an 8 month old 50 inch vizio smart tv, we are having a problem with the tv, none of the hdmi ports work. i notified vizio on sunday 3-3-2019 of the problem. we were to have a technician contact us within 48-72 hours.

I had to call again on 3-6 and was told by a third party[I don't know who it was] that they are still trying to locate a technician in our area. we also have a care plan that we bought when we bought the tv on 7-23-2018 that will not do anything until vizio takes care of the problem.. 00 and no tv.

we also saw many complaints against this company on the internet. don't know where to try next, apparently no one cares after they get their money!

After multiple attempts, at submitting required documentation to vizio, in order to file a warranty claim on a new TV; I am continually re-directed to submit the info on line or through an email when I talk to customer service. I have done both of these submission methods 7 0r 8 times to date, and the the website form will not submit at the very end after providing photos and other items. An alternate method of replying to an email sent from customer service is also not getting the info in to vizio. When I contact customer service they actually tell me that they don't see any notes from an agent sending another email. However, I have saved them in a file so I can prove how many times this has taken place.

I purchased a Visio 65” flat screen in September 2017. Was building a new house and bought the TV before it was finished did not move in till October 2017. TV lost the picture November 2018 contacted Visio support they said they had to go by the purchase date and it was 6 weeks out of warranty and could not help me.

This was not a cheap TV and for it to not last a year is sad! It is also sad that Visio doesn’t care about their product any more than this. After talking with my son he had a LG with the same problem it was 4 months out of warranty and they came to his house and fixed it.

With that said my family will only buy from a company that cares about their product that will be LG from now on! And I have a large family 7 children and 15 grand kids that’s a lot of TV’s over the years…

I purchased a 55" vizio tv 2 1/2 years ago and took out a 5 year warranty. On Friday, December 9, my tv had no picture, but did have audio. I contacted Best Buy where I bought it and they sent out a repair man today December 10th. He could not fix the problem on the spot and had to order the part, which he said will take 3 business days from Monday making the part to be here on Thursday and he would be back on Friday to repair it.

My husband and I owned a Samsung TV it was 7 years old and it started loosing rows of Pixels. We were looking for a new TV without spending a fortune. We saw Vizio E series 55U smart-cast 4k home theater for a good price so be bought it. We brought it home hung it on the wall and hooked it up. Internet showed a Vizio M55-C2 on sale with free delivery and PU of old TV. Went to store liked TV had clerk load TV in SUV. Set up TV and worked great. Called store to PU old TV. I was told would not PU old TV because they did not deliver new TV.

I have had my television I thought for a year, but, Walmart's receipt says since 9/27/2013 The television has began having issues with turning on and off properly. I turn it on the switch switches on and then shows the Vizio sign for a half moment and switches off. Approximately 2 years ago I purchased a 50" Vizio tv from your store in Brick Town NJ. I brought it home, had it hung on the living room wall by an electrician and was very happy with it. 3 days ago the picture disappeared, the sound went also. I called the cable company at first and they said the problem was not on their end. I called my electrician and he came over and took down the tv and we tried another tv using the same outlet and cables and the other tv worked fine.

My husband purchased a 47" Vizio TV 0n 2-18-2014. He passed away 01-26-2015. I was watching it this past Monday, January 4th, 2016 and the picture went black - could still hear voices, but no picture. I did the usual - unplugged it - turned to a different channel - left it off for 30 minutes, but with the same results.

The TV was not quite 2 years old! 00 in 2013. 00 a year to watch television, not counting the cost of the satellite. I just read many of the letters sent to your complaint dept. Many had the same problem.

From the looks of it, you do not care what happens AFTER you make the sale. Your company should not be in business. And I will tell others of my experience with you!

1 just because there is no 0. Spoke to a manager tonight in customer service who was the most rude customer service rep I've ever spoke to. Absolutely didn't want to hear what I had to say or my concerns about a TV I ordered two weeks ago and have not received any notification on.

Tried to cancel order but he said the shipping company has it. Funny how I've not received anything saying where it is. Now I guess I have to wait another week for them to tell me the shipping company has it.

First picture, then sound, and in speaking with customer service rep, it is not repairable and they are unwilling to replace. It is not a good deal if it only last for 1 year, We have had an LG that has lasted for 7 years.

V. D43-C1 at Walmart & only received a manual with ONLY in french & spanish. I only can read in English, so it's of no use to me. I called Vizio corporate office to complain & was told they can't send me one in English, I can only download it from the Vizio site.

Not good enough to satisfy me, I need a hard copy. So please call someone in the warehouse & have it forwarded to me via the mail not thru the computer.

Bought a 70" Vizio TV from store 4989, 09-19-13 the tv quit working ,8-29-15 less than 2 yrs. I googled Vizio and found that they were having problems with this model [E701i-A3] Vizio said they would replace the TV just send pics and a proof of purchase.

P from Sam's club and the pretty much called me a lier. Either Sam's Club owes me a TV or you can help me get it from Vizio.

On Oct. 00). 00. The digital cord was suggested by the sales rep. It turned out the cord would not fit my TV. The next day I went on vacation for 2 weeks. location to return the cord. It turns out I was only 2 days late and was told I could not get a credit for it because of the 15 day return policy.

I have made many purchases at that store and to refuse a credit over 2 days is not right. I left the store and cord as well as my receipt. I would appreciate someone looking into this matter.
