I phoned beginning April to cancel my data contract with Vodacom because I was paying R404 for 10 gig (old contract). I was offered a new contract and when I received the documents via email realised I will be locked into a long term contract again so had the new contract reversed.

The lady told me it will take a month to reflect as reversed so I can only cancel my contract at the end of April but will be able to do it with immediate effect. I phoned on 1 May but call was not answered.

Phoned today 2 May - held on for almost 20 minutes just to be told cancellation can only take affect end of May so I will have to pay for another month R404 for 10 gigs!! This is unacceptable. Please assist with immediate cancellation and refund. 0726102958.

I wish I could score Vodacom 0! My husband, Rob Field, has been trying to get an issue resolved with Vodacom for the past 10 days. One cannot get past the "front line". He has spoken to at least 30 different people at the Call Centre.

Most of them promise to "escalate" the complaint and/or phone back. We have a B&B and having no internet is a huge issue. Plus Vodacom happily debits our account but we seem to have no recourse for help. The problem started in January when our account was cancelled and they said Rob had given an instruction to cancel the account but he didn't and they could not provide proof of his supposed cancellation.

Someone at Vodacom eventually did reinstate our internet.

However, our account was suspended 10 days ago! Frustration isn't the word. I hope you can help…

Money was deducted on three separate occasions from my bank account in 2023. I have never opened an account with Vodacom or given Vodacom my account details or permission to withdrawn money from my account. 50 plus my bank charges and the inconvenience of having to go into my bank to get these charges reversed.

I have phone and emailed Vodacom in this regard. Instead of investing and appologising, Vodacom have handed me over to a incompetant debt collecting firm. They keep phoning me looking for money. It seems that it is easier to give a firm some commition, instead of investigating this and resolving the issue.

I was nearly scammed out of money and Vodacom continue to add insult to injury. Regards Kevin Harvett

I requested a cancellation of fibre contract in August 2022 paid the amount as was instructed and emailed proof to pop@Vodacom.co.za on 23/08/2022. On 01/04/2023 the contract was reactivated without my consent, and now billed over R9000 and vodacom is failing to tell me who and how was it reactivated and refusing to listen to the voice recording August 2022.

00 and was confirmed by the agent who assisted me to upgrade. Now my account shows an extra amount which I calculate as VAT. Being a lawyer I know that venders must include VAT when giving prices, so your website as well as agents are misrepresenting clients, which is a bad and unlawful act.

It is a 30 + 30 GB data package, so you can check on your website, it does not say anything about VAT so clients are let to believe it includes VAT. This is unfair and misrepresentation. I intend to bring this to the attention of the Consumer Council.

Good day.

On the 1st of March 2023, I purchased a Vodacom SIM card but had to cancel it the following day, on the 2nd of March, at the Vodashop in Fauna Mall, Bloemfontein because it was not working. I paid the cancellation fee at the shop and was assured that the contract was canceled on their side.

However, this year, I received a call stating that I was behind on payments for a SIM card I never used and had canceled on time. I called the head office on the 8th of February 2024 to enquire about the matter and requested my Vodacom sim card cancellation letter. The representative promised to send it within 48 hours, but I have not received any response from their office yet.

I am yet to receive any form of feedback or relief from your finance department regarding my refund. How utterly shameful Judy.

Requested contract cancelation on 19Dec for 0826435491 for keep number and pay as you go, the agent illegally added a whatsapp order to my contract after I seceral times said I do not want to pay a cent after contract cancelation per month, I have been phoning every day since 19Dec, because I still also have not received my cancelation email and no further confirmation that the whatsapp open order has been closed after requesting it was illegaly added, I also request action taken against the agent, your feedback or contact is requested urgently. I have experienced horrid service from Vodacom since I started a contract. Vodacom and people in its employ went against whatever was promised. Now that this contract is over I am not allowed to cancel till they upload my contract 36 months later.

After 3 calls to cancellation my problem is still not addressed. Pathetic service and I would never ever recommend this network. They treat customers like crap.

Vodacom client account deactivated for no reason, account with Openserve Unlimited data. Numerous calls lodged, four days later.... all they say is your account has been deactivated, and it will take 7 days to find out why..... HOW PATHETIC!!!! WHO DEACTIVATED OUR ACCOUNT....

AND WHY CANT VODACOM ACTIVATE IT AGAIN.... This is just a scam to get clients to buy data, because the wifi is not working. This is costing us a lot of money. And best of all they can not give us a reference number..... calls apparently being recorded.... bs. We want ANSWERS NOW.

A Vodacom Consultant Scammed me.

She offered a free laptop, data, router, reduced subscription and was told it would not affect my upgrade. I said this is too good to be true so I called Vodacom and found out it was a legitimate Consultant who called me. I was very excited, a gift for being a loyal custmer for 30 years. This was short lived, In january I get a quotation for the laptop and in February I noticed my account was being debited for the laptop. I was lied to, scammed and deceived. Vodacom are taking no responsibility they say it was an error on their side and I am to return the laptop with no refund. My husband made contract with my sim card in the so that contract ended last year September 2022 I have also filed complain to ombudsman

Now someone renewed it without his consent , I am a witness he personally told the person he doesn't want contract because he no longer works I also recorded those conversations and saved them in memory stick

I also run my business with that numbers

Good evening. The signal for wifi and cell phone is absolutely horrendous here in Gordons Bay. We stay in Fairview Golf Village. I have just renewed a contract with you and wish I hadn't. I have brought this to your notice before and each time I am told that the signal will be upgraded at some stage. Nothing appears to change.

Operator is un helpful, even after explaining the account number is not reachable while drive. Needed account to be set in right standing as it was paid. Needed to buy data in order to work while traveling. Operator kept asking information regarding account, which cannot be checked while driving.

Its extremely frustrating to have to call every month to sort issues out with account, even tho the amount was paid on invoice!

I have been trying to cancel a phone contract with Vodacom for more than two months now. They made contact with me when I made the initial request and I thought all went well. They ended up cancelling the cell phone contract and not the phone contract (which I did specify very clearly).

Now it's like communication has been cut off completely. The frustrating part is that I am not in SA which makes that matter even worse. I honestly do not know what to do anymore. This is the second problem I've had within a year, the first being adding a R99 data bundle to my account that did not approve.

I Tsundzuka Tlakula dispute the vodacom invoice that was sent to me, saying i purchase Airtime Subs - RED Flexi 75 Line Rental not from airtime. this is really fraudulant. I have been using vodacom for over 15 years on my 0721637554 and was happy until they billed my 0826109030 invoice.

Trying to get service from Vodacom and a conclusion to a simple task they need to do, changing a expiry date of card for monthly payment to them, is like pulling teeth. a service ticket has to be logged which takes them longer than the 12-24 hours they say to contact you.

When they called I was on a business call and then again in a meeting, so they then make the decision to close the ticket because they didn't get through on two attempts. the ticket should stay open until they have reached a customer or they need to send a direct e mail to the client to conclude the issue/complaint.

I tried to put a claim for a stolen fone at vodacom insurance and im just not getting any assistance i've getting transfered back and forth and they eventually hang up on me and when i call again i get a new agent and its the same process over again and they dont bother calling back and there is no communication so im frastrated and

Kelvin Dolph and Morme Speelmam from Vodacom CANAL WALK are worst with customer service. I bought an item on 16/09/2023 and realised within 30 minutes that the person I bought for already has it then I returned the item but they refused to take it back.

They advised that their company rule they don't refund I have to take something of same worth which I couldn't because I didn't need anything. I received worst service from these 2 guys. I need this sorted before I raised it with NCR because Kelvin didn't disclose the clause of no refunds before the purchase.

There was a migration done on my account in May , in June I called requesting the Migration for be cancelled, The migration was only cancelled in July and I have requested Vodacom to credit me for the month of July because they are the ones who delayed to reverse the migration in June. I have been calling them regarding this matter since June till today no credit passed on my account.

I recently upgraded my contract and agreed to pay R250 per month, to my surprise Vodacom deducted 300 on first bill for upgrdaed contract, i called and operator told me that i am using open line contract and i subscribed for NBA League, i immediately asked him to cancel it but he told me that they were deducting R7 a day and my bill for september is already R599 due to same subscribtion

Vodacom is not closing the fraud case i have opened with them.

I have received the below email from Vadocom to notify me that a cellphone contract which i did not open was in deed a fraudulent account. The below email was sent to me on the 18/05/2023 at 10.12am still today nothing has been done about it and I am being harassed by Vodacom to pay an account which i never opened. I will be laying a charge with Vodacom as my credit severely implicated and i also plan to take this matter further with the national Consumer commission. My phone was stolen and when I tried to do a insurance claim it turned out that Vodacom Canal Walk had not updated my IMEI number with the insurance company, upon inquiry at the store they said that their system had failed to update and that they'd update it. It has been a week of me calling them daily to get an update and there has been no sense of direction on the progress of my query.

This is causing a delay on the insurance process and is an inconvenience on my side since I do not have a phone. Please see attached emails which I also sent.
