I received a call from a agent regarding my contract. I advised her that I don't want to upgrade my contact as it's ending in November 2023. She twisted everything, later on I received 2 sms that I I have extended my contact.

Why does the agents do that , is it to get a commission by misleading they clients??

Honestly guys, im putting data on 3 devices every single day and we never get to use the data because we don't have signal. I've been with Vodacom for more t han 20 years and for the first time feel that I need to change to a nother network.

its now the second Month and they have taken off more money than they should. after calling them and telling them a month back. and this is also after calling the cancellation department to. And yet still waiting for Vodacom to call again for the same issue.

Vodacom has by far become the worse to deal with.

Your fibre is terrible. Always having network connection issues and the speed is not nearly what we are paying for. I had Cell C before for many years and only 1 issue. Can’t wait to cancel and go back to Cell C.

Poor service and no response from Vodacom. When on call its very noisy and difficult to understand. I have received a call from Elite saying that that can migrate me and will pay less. This was not the case I am paying more. Vodacom billed me +/-R250 more on my account and I never signed the agreement. I have also tried to cancel the deal before the expiry date. When calling Vodacom they are saying that they will log it with Elite mobile and might take 72hrs and received no feedback. Elite now charging R904.00 to cancel the deal. I need someone more superior to talk to.

My fiber link went down on Thursday 17-08-2023 at 21:00 due to a base station went down. I was not notified that there was an outage whatsoever. When service was restored at the base station, no notification was given, yet i was still without service.

I called the call center numerous times wanting to restore my service. After my 4th call to the center, i received a ref, SR230818-377202, at 19:30 on 18-08-2023. I called the call center again at 21:38 again, wanting an update, no informing me that the turnaround resolution time wss 24 hours.

I called agin 4 times today, still wanting feedback on my fault, still with no updates from anyone st Vodacom. It has now been over 48 hours without any interbet service since the 17th. I work from home Monday to Monday, dependent on this 100MB fiber…

I had a 2year contract with Vodacom and it was closed and the contract cancelled inay 2023 to my surprise Vodacom is still debiting when I called customer services I was told I have a new contract which I did not sign up for told Vodacom agent I know nothing about that new contract she transferred the call to accounts department the lady I spoke to transferred the call to account queries I was told to hold the line for 30minutes and the call was cut.

I didn't get help from Vodacom I need to open a case of fraud because I did not give any consent to Vodacom for this new contract that I know nothing of.

I have upgrade my vodacom contract last year November 2022 to a data 400GB contract . About 2 months ago I was unable to use any of my data and are only able to whatzup . This is my main contact number and I do need to access my mail and internet regularly for work.

I have made queries and unfortunately had to deal with a robot that cannot understand my issue. I also went into a coda shop branch and they tried to help but in the end said that it was an home internet contract and I cannot use sim in phone.

When I applied for this contract it was nowhere stated that it was a home internet contract that cannot be use in a phone. I have been a client with Vodacom for years and for the very first time I must say that it is very poor service that I have received.

Vodacom is running a scan on their data promotions, they are selling 10gig 7day promotion for R15.00 when using bank card but changed me R159.00 on my bank account. Am not happy at all, i tried calling customer care but no option to talk to someone.

I went to Norwood Branch Vodacom, to do a sim swap for an ailing 80 year old relative, who is currently hospitalized for the past 1 1/2 months. Venetia Khoza, had the worst customer service representative skills, I have EVER!!! encountered.

Not only was she unpleasant & not helpful, but also refused to give me her full name. I had to drill it out of her. I am 73 years old. Fortunately I do have a fair bit of knowledge about technology.

She needs, to be more accommodating to the elders, and everyone else, because, that’s what customer service is all about. Be pleasant, be courteous, treat people with respect. A smile goes a long way. Thank you Louella Charvat

On 12 July 2023 - I upgraded online. My current contract expires end August 2023. The consultant assured me my new contract will only start once the current one ended. I agreed to a contract for R399 p/m. I told the consultant I will rather call back end of August as I don't want to pay any extra fees.

Last week I received an invoice stating my new contract started immediately when upgraded. Vodacom also added 15 GB data as well as 1000 voice minutes to my bill.

Also charged me for the old headset twice. 53. I made numerous calls, been on phone for hours and still it is not resolved. 53 I still have to pay. On Saturday 8 August I got through to a consultant that logged a service call so this is the only ref number I have 2-36144445442283.

I asked her to please remove the data and voice…

I was sold a new wifi contract with the intention of not adding to what I was paying, but to reduce what I was paying. As much as you say our calls are recorded the lady said my 5GB and my 20GB contract will be canceled as I will be only taking the 100GB contract.

I was paying close to R600 and i expect to pay R500 and something something, and now I'm going to pay R900 and something. This is so wrong as I was sold lies. I really need assistance on this matter because this is too much, I just wanted to reduce my installment not adding it as financially I'm trying to cut some of the bills.

Good day I want to lay a complaint againts Vodacom in Waterfront Mall in Bloemfontein. On the deal we aggreed on was a Dual sim Samsung S23 and a dual sim Samsumg Zflip. We did received both phones but the Samsung Z flip is not a dual sim.

I have 4 contracts with vodacom, all 4 contracts clearly states that the amounts are including vat but Vodacom is charging more than the amount agreed upon by both parties. They are stealing from me. There's no way of dealing with an actual person from the accounts department.

You either get to deal with a bot called Tobi that's ridiculous and an insult to my intelligence or you get through to an call agent that's totally uninterested and uneducated in regards to accounts, taxes vat etc. I want to lay a complaint with the ombudsman at this stage

I’ve been phoning the call centre 082 1958 cancelling mobile router 0660748743 from the day of fibre installation at my place. “Nkosi “ on the 05 May 2023 told me that it was going to be cancelled. To my surprise on Friday, 21st I was told it was still active.

I never received any statements from Vodacom to know what I’m paying for. I only got explanation on Friday after I referred to “Andiswa “ after I was told by “Brandon” that he’s not getting authenticity and asked for my first language as he was going to put me a person who speaks the language.

I’m frustrated for not getting the help I need urgently. The mobile router I’m cancelling (contract) is not serving any purpose now. I was not receiving the 20GB looking at my vodacom app and I only saw on this particular Friday.

I have sent a number of emails over the past 16 months to customer care requesting the cancellation of my contract ie 1/03/22 & then again on 19/07/22 . Contract Number I4125446 P20025165331/1 ROUTER Business Internet LTE More Data .

We have not made use of this service since 1/03/22. I am now receiving urgent messages from VVM Debt Collectors to pay this account.

There's a deal that was approved online under my ID by vodacom turned out it's was scam/fraud,as I never took or signed any deal with vodacom, I need this to be canceled asap. Consultant said it would take a month to get feedback interms of cancelation and I can't wait any longer as this is ruining my credit record. I have been without fibre/internet since the 12/07, as per Vumatel they say Vodafibre need to renew the leases on the rooter - my ticket number logged on Friday after phoning over 50 times is SR230714-277824. I'm not happy with the courier company you hired. They are inconsiderate and unprofessional. I haven't received my order for 0823728518. I left my ID card with my daughter bt they refuse to give my daughter my order. Today I was home didn't go to work, I waited for them the whole day.

They arrived at around 15:50 and I was not at home. And now their are saying I won't get my order until they find me. It means I won't get my order because during the day I'm at work and they told me that they work 8am to 17H00.

I had the worst customer service experience with Vodacom today. My Vodacom WhatsApp ticket wasn't working, so I called customer service. Spoke to 3 different agents, by name Sipho, Boitumelo and Khulekani... two managers by the names of Phumi and Rose, Rose and Boitumelo were the worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like Vodacom to do a collaboration and listen to that call and determine if that is how a customer should be assist!

Took a laptop on contract in December 2020 Mecer Device could not read the sim and it was exchanged. I only use it twice or once a month It started not reading sim again,went to voda shop at Woodmead,the did not want even to look at it Was given a number to phone I phoned platinum warranty and laptop was taken for repairs.

Now is July the laptop is giving the same problem not reading the sim i phoned vodacom asking them if they can help me maybe to change the contract because I'm not enjoying the laptop at all I was told that unfortunately not There is nothing that they can do because it is over 14 days I must just keep on repairing it I'm disappointed and frustrated paying every month for something thst im not enjoying.

Hi I am so disappointed in Vodacom service I have requested a change of insurance on the 26 January 2023 now that I have a claim it seems that the request was not honored I have proof of the change of insurance forms were completed in store. At this point no one is able to assist me and the keep pinning the blame on different departments but I don't understand Vodacom is one company despite the different departments. PLEASE HELP!

When I was doing an upgrade I was offered a free laptop but now I'm being invoiced for it. I lodged a query and response came saying my query is invalid. I have been requesting a voice recording of the call with the agent who did my upgrade but to no avail.

I visited the store on the 10th of June and the African guy sold me a device and a ruiter, he told me it's 50Gigs and now it's only 20G,I went back to store and he was off. I just spoke him he's telling me to call the call center.

As long standing Vodacom customers , myself and my wife , we are very disappointed in the service we have received over the last 6-7 weeks. My wifes cellphone was either lost/stolen at the mall close to the end of April , our insurance had requested confirmation of cellphone contract/itemized billing as well as an activity report or an email confirming that the phone was still in service at the time of loss , this is totally understandable request however this is the point where our claim has paused for almost 2 months with back and forth request and not receiving this letterhead from Vodacom as requested. Whilst emails have been provided , our insurance requires this on a letter head in order to continue with their portion.

I bought a phone at Vodacom Store Phuthaditjhaba on the 25/04/2023 and the manager ordered it. She said it takes 2-e working days, 4 days later I went to the store and she told me it has been back ordered.

Now she said I'm going to get it the very same week and I waited. After waiting for 5 days with no updates at all I called her and told her to cancel the order and she said okay the money will reflect in my account in 2-3 working days.

Again 4 days laterbi call her and she tells me she didn't cancel the order because my phone was on the way so now I ask her who told her not to cancel the order and she says she thought I'd still want the phone. I have been waiting for my refund until now and it has been more than a month since I have paid for that phone.

I have applied for cellphone contract in Fleurdal Game Store Bloemfontein past Saturday the 17 June 2023, the application was approved and was notified that they do not have stock, later I got information through the Game head office that their are cellphones in Vaal Mall Game through my enquiries. I was advised by game consultant that if I am interested I will need to request Fluerdal Game Store to cancel and it will enable the Vaal Mall Game to apply for as they use different ID store number.

To my disbelief the vodacom system rejected my application to be fraudulent . I even went to vodacom in Vaal mall only to find out the is nothing that can be done as the people who cancelled the contract clicked fraudulent.

I was told I will have to wait 3 months before I can apply again.

The insurance department does not respond to calls or emails with regards to putting alos cellphone claim, other departments cannot assist you they still put you through to a no replay department , been trying to claim against my lost cellphone for a month now still no response or help from the claims/insurance department .

Consultant was very rude. She's got no patience or understanding whatsoever! Vodacom is failing as a brand and the last consultant I spoke to was not even trying to help. All I needed was confirmation and help with regards to my early cancelation and I feel like I wasted my time trying to solve my problem.

I have been a vodacom customer for 13 years. I recently applied for a contract for my wife. Currently i have two contracts with them. i tried to do an upgrade on my own number and the consultant said they can't find that number on their system.

He suggested i apply for a new contract, which doesn't make sense as i am already paying for two, why would i apply for a third?

I have done an upgrade on 2 business simcards, which I have asked Vodacom to do an immediate activation on 1 of these contracts. I have told them that we don't mind paying extra as long as the upgrade is activated immediatedly. I have send all signed paperwork that they have asked, but the activation still was not processed. This is by far the worst experience I have had with Vodacom.

I want this done ASAP or they we will cancel all 7 contracts that we have with them for over 15 years now.
