On the 23rd December 2018 I went to wimpy Sandton with my family, we were served with dirty plates and lost appetite. They offered a very reluctant apology and we paid the bill and left. I will never go any wimpy again

I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH WALMART FOR HAVING SO MUCH ITEMS WITH GREAT VALUE. GREAT VALUE IS NOT A GOOD ITEM. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL OF THEIR ITEMS AND FIND THEM OF VERY POOR QUALITY. I EITHER HAVE TO BUY GREAT VALUE OR ORGANIC, WHICH COST MORE.

I MIGHT AS WELL GO TO ANOTHER STORE WHERE I CAN GET WHAT I WANT. I DO ALOT OF BUSINESS AT WALMART, BUT YOU ARE FORCING ME TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Good day I was at the Wimpy in Mimosa Mall Bloemfontein yesterday at about 16h00. Only one waiter on the floor. I had the worst service ever. She was running crazy between all the customers. The Wimpy was full. We waited more then 45 minutes for 4 milkshakes and 3 small plates of chips. I just feel that in the future if you want customers to come back - make sure there is more staff on shift. The Manager was not helpful - just standing around not making rounds at tables asking if everything is ok.

I would rather go some where i get service then waiting for no service - We waited more then 15 minutes before the waiter took our order.

I did not tip her because i feel good service gets rewarded. No service - no tip

I went in to Wimpy with my Granny in a wheelchair, the Lamb Chops I ordered for my Granny were off and smelling. Other customers could smell it too, I told the waitress who was assisting us about the smell she called her Manageress and they told me those lamb chops aren’t smelling and there’s nothing wrong with them.

She went to the back and check on the kitchen and as I was expecting “there’s nothing wrong” now at home my gran is not well! They served us lamb chops that are off and stinking and did nothing about it!!!

My Gran and I were not pleased at all and saddened that we put it to their attention and nothing was done! How sad!

My husband, my daughter and myself walked into the wimpy at Baywest mall, port Elizabeth on Monday 2018-10-22 at 11:00. A waitress attended to us and we asked her to give us 5 minutes to decide what we would like to order.

After a few minutes she returned and took our order which was 1 tea, 1 Fanta orange, 3 Monday breakfast specials, 2 with scrambled eggs of which one with white toast and the other with brown toast and 1 with eggs medium baked with white toast. The waitress took our order and after a few minutes she came back with the tea and the Fanta.

So we waited and waited, my husband had already drunk his tea and my daughter of 19 had already drunk her Fanta. At 11:50 we were still waiting for our breakfast, we saw people that came in long after us, already being served and…

On 20 October 2018, we visited Wimpy Carolina. The first sight that greeted us, was a very unhygienic drain overflowing. Inside the tables were dirty and when we asked the waiter to please clean it, she had a bad attitude and said she will get to it.

This is not the first time that this has happened. I am very disappointed in Wimpy Carolina and will not be visting them again. I will also not recommend any of my friends to visit them.

I phone and the lady pick up the phone then she said in her language that this person is making me tired. She took the phone off the hook while I am still on the phone, I hear how she is talking and I am hanging on for 20 min and still she did not think to me or she did not put the phone back on the hook.

This is not for sure not her first time she did it and the scary part is she is on duty but she phone is still off the took. Where is the manager. When will she put the phone back on the hook because if I phone again I will not be able to get through.

the time is 08:20 I phone at 8:00.

That was the most tasteless coffee ever. What a disappointment that time of the morning when I need a nice cup of coffee! This lady was not knowing how to make coffee and I could not drink the coffee and pay R50 for nothing! This is unacceptable! I do not expect it from Whimpy.

yesterday 03 / 10/ 2018 around 12H15 went to Wimpy waverley plaza in pretoria to have some lunch , I was nicely seated by the waitress without the name plate. I ordered some thing to eat . after finishing eating she gave me the bill of which I also respond by putting the money that money cover.

while I was busy reading the newspaper another guy by the name of tshepo came and took that money and he said he will pass it over because my initial waitress was busy with other customers. Minutes later I decided to go out and do some errands I heard a loud voice from behind saying you didn't pay sooo I was so frustrated ,disgusted and hurt by that utterance by that nameless waitress - the I made a u turn and

To Whom It May Concern:

On Thursday 12th July 2018 my daughter and I went into Wimpy in Sittingbourne. I ordered 2 breakfasts that was advertise on the Point of Sale outside the shop which cost £5.70. It a buy one and get one free. When the breakfast came out it was different to what we ordered. We got Bacon, Scrambled Egg, Beans, Chips, Frankfurter and Tomato, The Frankfurter was horrible because we don't like them. The the tomato was over cooked. The coffee was far to strong and I was unable to drink it.

When I asked about why I did not get what I ordered, the lady said she was too busy, When its busy you get alternative,

This is unacceptable because if you look on CCTV they were not busy at all, We should have been consulted about alternative breakfast if they can't be bothered to…

After not going to Wimpy Matatiele because of its poor service that I experienced about 3 times last year I decided to go today with the hope that the staff has changed. An arrogant waitress by the name of FUNDIE or whatever decided to ignore me when asking for the menu, when I told her of the behaviour she did not show any remorse, you can't as a waitress respond to a person when walking in fact it's lack of morals in fact that proves lack of respect back from home.

A very good waitress by the name of Rethabile came to our rescue, she is an excellent waitress and she has been taught respect back from home.

Stopped at the Harrismith One Stop for coffee and my daughter decided she would like a milkshake. 95 was the tiniest little takeaway cup of maybe 200 mls at the most. I asked the lady who served me if this was a kiddies size it was so small which it wasn’t.

Really wimpy u charge that for a milkshake that size. 95 for a grande Cappuccino at Mugg and Bean and got a heck of a lot more for my money. Kota Joes make Gourmet milkshake with Zoo biscuits and Ferreira Rochers for less than what U charge and a whole lot more milkshake for your money.

A decent size take away cup is the least u can do for ur customers. Your coffee too.

We have just returned from your Wimpy restaurant at Eltham High Street se9 and were really disappointed that whilst we were eating our food the waiter was sweeping and washing the floors leaving the front door wedged open with intentions of the floor drying with NO consideration that the customers were getting really cold as the temperature outside was just 4 degrees. When asked to close the doors he then reluctantly closed it.

We do appreciate that floors need to be cleaned but surely not when the customers are eating and that the restaurant was not due to close until 1,1/2 hours later. Please could you give feedback to the staff regarding this problem . Yours Ray Friend

Good day. Please can something be done about the service at Wimpy Montclair. I have been there 4 times in the last two months or so. There is only one staff member that really knows what his doing and is always polite.

You never see the floor manager or the Manager checking around to see how things are going. I like sitting outside with my family and nobody seems to think to look if there is any customers outside. As far as I am concerned Bongani should be the manager there.

Maybe the kitchen staff should be asked to work a bit faster. I really hate complaining, but it has gone a little to far now. There is no excuse for this as your Wimpy at Ushaka for instance is top notch.

On the bluff the floor manager always checks very vibrantly how the customers are doing. Maybe a little training…

I ordered a chocolate milkshake expecting to get the same way the way it looks on the menu. I asked the waiter without name tag where is thee cholate she said she will call the manager. Thee manager came and said that they can not put the choclate on the due to changes. Well I am the customer I want the same product that is being advertised.

I went to wimpy carnival mall. Ordered mince and egg on toast as well as an omelette with cheese. The mince on toast looked as if it was a week old dried out mince ... spread thinly on the toast.

The omelette was the size of half a saucer and as flat as a pancake. Both tasteless. I asked for the manager. Needless to say was ignored so ate the food. Once ready to go . The manager came to hear the complaint.

He said the mince is pre prepared and sent to them and that there is a problem with the batch received. Why serve it to customers if there is a problem with it. He never even apologised but walked away not interested at all in my complaint.

There is for every table a waiter and nobody is working. You cannot get through the entrance because the waitereses is standing, doing nothing, everywhere. You need to call somebody to come and clean the table - full of old food and disgusting flies flying around.

They clean the table with a dirty cloth, not with something that can clean and kill fly germs. The manager is always sitting at one or other table chatting with friends, so loud! There is already no fan or aircon working for more that 6months - it is so hot inside, no fresh air.

Only the smokers gets an aircon???? The grilling equipment is so dirty because all the food have black pieces on it. My piece of "greenery" that they put on the plate was so old, looked terrible - rather leave it!

The service at the wimpy in Klerksdorp this morning between 9 and 10 am was extremely poor.The breakfast ordered by one of the people at our table took over half an hour and consequently had to be a take away. The restaurant was 95 percent empty so the slowness and lack of interest by the staff and manager unacceptable.I won't be going back to this wimpy.

Your service at the Wimpy in Heidelberg town Gauteng ( not the one in the mall ) was pathetic, waited for half and hour to be served, then the manageres approached us, was rather rude ,we placed an order for a drink, the waited for another 20 min, still no drinks, no waiter, no order given still ,then got up and walked out, we were ignored the whole time, and there was probably not even 5 tables with customers.

Never will I ever go there again, and I will advise all my family and friends to do so as well because the service is pathetic.

The one in the mall is excellent I must add.

I am sitting at Canal Walk there's one waiter Tinashe serving us he has 4 tables to serve there are 3 waitress doing nothing. The manager Angelique is standing with another 3 waitresses at the entrance laughing for 20 min.

We waiting for coffee our waitress is busy. Everywhere else mangers know what's happening on their floors and check in with their customers Not stand around laughing loudly with certain staff and don't have a clue about the happenings where they manage

Ordered Toasted mayo on white. Brought me a Toasted mayo on brown. Lady bringing it was not the person I placed the order with. When I mentioned this she walked away. Later the waiter came back and apologized. Could not wait for a replacement = King Shaka and I need to board.

Travel weekly and always eat before I fly. This just made Wimpy not my first choice anymore. So many to chose from. Attitude.

I am very disappointed by the taste of your burgers (Party),as I'm writing this complaint I've just ordered wimpy Burger and Coffee and the Patty is tasteless, it tastes like nothing I've eaten from Wimpy before, to say the least it tastes like rubber... The coffee is weak and light...

my expectations as a customer is to have the same taste everywhere in SA where I choose to eat Wimpy, otherwise you wouldn't brand it the same everywhere... If you guys are smart about your businesses you will do a research on what I just complained about or you will just ignore and lose one or many of the most loyal and long standing customers of Wimpy!

At first I did not want to complain but I am so disappointed about my sandwich that I just have to let you know. I just love Wimpy food but on Monday morning I craved a nice and warm normal toasted tomato and cheese sandwich for breakfast… I could already taste the cheese and tomato and could not wait for my “toasty.”

What a disappointment…I was so disgusted I could not believe my own eyes…. and for R91.60… seriously???? I would not even serve this to my dog at home.

I am so disappointed that I don’t know what to say or do about this.

I bought a meal for my daughter one morning. The service was the worsed. We waited too long. The waitress gave us the meal the drink was not sealed properly. It spilt she picked it up and gave it to us as is half.

When I demand them to give us a new drink in a clean cup she totally ignored me. I requested to see the manager and demanded a refund. She was rude and uncoperative . I lodfe a complain with the wimpy head office.

They claimed she could not get hold of me on thephone. So i personally went there. Asked for the manager a lady by the Name of Sylvia came and addressed me in an professional manner. Said she was the manager eventually refunded me.

No apology and so casually. I will never again eat at that wimpy or any other wimpy. The customer service sticks and the staff is so…

I ordered a waffle chocolate slice both with ice cream at Wimpy Quagga in Pretoria West. The ice cream had not flavour let alone the fact it was already melting. The waffle was flat and doughy looking also had no flavour.

My first time finding a wimpy that cant even make a proper waffle. As for the ice cream it couldnt be wimpy. Needless to say I will never go back to wimpy Quagga.

I brought my son and friends to wimpy virginia for his birthday. I cant complain about service, there was none.. I couldn't buy them milkshakes, they forgot to order ice cream. The same applied to the ice cream that they were supposed to get with the kiddies meals.

The manager was also nowhere to be found! They could not even offer me a replacement dessert for the kids as they were responsible for their incompetence. Very disappointed.

Wimpy used to be my favorite place to catch a quick bite. No longer. Over the years the poor customer service and inconsistent standards of food preparation has left an ugly taste in my mouth. It's sad to see businesses being destroyed by its employees and most of all no one even cares to do something about it.

Shareholders & investors it's time u react. Disappointed ex customer.

Was at this wimpy on Sunday 25/09/2016 for a lunch with my family firstly the service was up to , then when the food arrived the waitress was very rude when we told her she got our drinks mixed up. then the food was old the buns were toasted to hide that they were old when we asked for a someone in charge we were told there was nobody. If my family was not hungry I would have left there and then.

I visited wimpy at trade route mall with my family and I was not impressed about the service that was given by the manager (Zola) . The mistake was from the kitchen . Zola as manager was suppose to handle the situation in a proper way but she was shouting and blaming us for the mistake that was done by her team.

My tea was very weak and I ask the waitress to add tea bag so that I can have a normal tea.

A friend and I had coffee and muffins at Wimpy Jean Avenue. On ordering the muffins I requested also grated cheddar cheese - as with any other franchise like Mugg and Bean etc. As the waitress brought the muffins it was 2 slices processed cheese. I indicated that we ordered grated cheese and she told me that they do not have grated cheese. I then asked for another 2 slices. she brought another 4. Upon receiving the bill, I realized it was extra and over and above that R8.00 a slices, which bring the cheese value to R48.00.

I called the manager Marcel, expressing my disappointment that I was not told that the cheese slices was extra, not even talking about the price - the value of 5 breads or 2 more muffins. his response was. Did you think you are getting it for free, where I indicated…

I've been sitting waiting to be served for ten minutes and waiters passing me as if I do not exist. There is no showing you to a table or waiting to be seated. The place is very empty. What happened about service.

I have a plane to catch and will more than likely not order. I'm at the wimpy at Cape Town international airport. On the 1st floor. Going on for twenty minutes now. And still waiting.

I went to purchase a wimpy & chips at the Shell garage in St Johns Avenue Pinetown. It was hands down the worst burger I have ever eaten. There was so little garnish on my burger I had to remove my party to find it.

Much to my disgust there was one little string of onion & a little piece of lettuce so small the burger patty covered it completely. Then because it was a take away it was put int the box and shoved sideways into such a small packet.

Needless to say by the time I got to eat it there was more relish In the box than on my burger!

Arrived at the store in Fordsburg at 20:25 for a meal. As we arrived the staff cleaning the floor tells us that the store in closed. Closing one is 21:00. Nevertheless asked for the manager after a long wait he arrives. I asked him for the store owners details he give me a number and tells me that I can contact him on that number all the time in fact it was the store number. Then told that the store owner asked that his number is never give to clients.

Nevertheless he called the store owner I spoke to him unapologetic says the store was no busy so they decided to close. This store brings along total disrepute to the Wimpy brand. Unprofessional staff and bad management.

Just had my second bad experience at Wimpy Malmesbury. The waitress just put the menus on the table without greeting and disappeared. After about 15 mins I went and ask if someone will come take our order. They all scrambled around.

I ended up taking my kids across the road to Spur. The manager apologized and offer a coffee on the house, but the damage was already done.

Went to Arconpark branch. Asked for 2 double up breakfasts. Brought 4 plates. On each plate was 1 piece bacon, 1 egg, half worsie, 2 cherry tomatoes and 1/2 slice toast. To my knowledge they halfed the brekkie. When bill came we paid for 2 double ups.

On questioning they said they halfed it. I said but we could have much more if buying sunrises. Its supposed to be buy one get the same free. It was pathetic. Went out very unhappy hungry and feeling robbed. From 4 very unhappy customers.

We had the worst service at Pretoriuskop Wimpy in the Kruger. Dirty, no service, we took the plates of the previous customers and placed it on nearby chair. After an half a hour we decided to order take aways and eat that. Bad bad bad.
