I was treated well as a customer. When I tried to stop services, the customer care was awful. So many call transfers. Finally it was done and I thought everything would be ok. I got an additional bill. I called, again 4 transfers to be told that they had indeed sent a refund. Untrue of course. I returned my TV box and not just received another packaging for return. I imagine I'll be billed. I do have the receipt from the post office. Anyway, this has been a bad experience. I would call but I don't have the emotional fortitude to accept the many transfers and the confusion everyone has. When transferred, I have to tell my complete story again, and of course, I get transferred again.

I called in to ask why my bill was so high the first agent offered a $15 dollar credit if I made a payment that day. I asked why would I need to make a payment if my bill is not due until December 26 the agent explain that was the only way to get the credit so

I made the payment he offer to transfer me over to see if there were any promotions going on to see if I was eligible. Connected me to a number that was invalid. I called back provided my information to the second agent she ask me to make a payment not even asking what the nature of the call was.

I asked if she had the correct account up she stated yes. I asked do you see the notes from the first agent confirming that I made a payment and just needed to be transfer to the number I never got transfer to in the first call.

I called in a phone line being down on 9 November 2023. I spoke with your representative on 9 November to inform them the date of repair I received of 20 November 23 was unacceptable due to the fact the line is connected to an medical emergency system for a disabled 86 year old.

I was told the ticket would be escalated; however as of to date there has been no repair. I have called and spoken with 5-6 representatives who are unwilling to assist and either keep me on such a long hold until I disconnect or simply hang up on me after telling me that they are unable to help me. because .

This is the worst customer service support I have ever experienced. "

When I called to pay my bill a recording stated my services had been suspended alrhough my phone is in working order. After I payed online I opted to speak with a rep how the phone was working. She kept saying it was suspended on the 7th, but i am able to use it.

Interrupted me several times raised her voice at me & then stated "I'm not doing this today" & hung up. No option for me to speak with someone else.

The number and frequency of commercial calls has reached epidemic proportions. m. last night after I had gone to bed. m. I tried calling Windstream 's corporate office ( 1-501-748-7000) without any relief. If my wife were not in an assisted living facility, I'd drop my landline in a heart beat.

I thought the government and phone companies were going to solve this problem, but it is only getting worse.

99/mo once my ACP was applied. I was also promised lots of visa gift cards. I had no problem with my previous service, but I am a single mom & very poor, so the extra . Fast-forward 2+mo later, & my bill is over $151, no gift cards, & still waiting for ACP to be applied.

Customer support is rude & gives me a different answer each time I call. The manager that signed me up says he’s trying to help, but I don’t believe him. I feel I’m being ghosted. I absolutely cannot pay this bill & will have to use grocery or bill $$ to pay this. 99/mo Spectrum.

I fully regret switching over to this underhanded company, who I feel makes empty promises to people for new customers. Shame on you, for praying on poor people for profit, Kinetic.

Tried numerous times to get this issue resolved to no avail. Last date was to 9/20/23. Time line 2PM to 4PM. Why wasn't told this from the beginning. I've been a windstream customer for several years. This is the worst I've experienced.

Where do I begin? The entire 2 day experience has been dismal. Support centers are a complete joke, the last call was the worst ever. The lady accused me of lying and had an infant screaming in the background. I had set up a ticket the previous day which she informed me had been cancelled.

I did not cancel for I was waiting at my residence for them to arrive. She insisted that the service tech texted me 4 times, which is not true, so he cancelled the repair ticket. UNACCEPTABLE! I took a day off work to be here and she wanted to reschedule.

I was Hot, to say the least. we shall see, I don't have much confidence they will show. This problem arose yesterday about 2pm when my service went dead. The first call I made was middle eastern which I couldn't understand his broken english.

A few weeks after initial installation of Windstream Highspeed the glass coming into my became disconnected at the device. I have no service: it will be 8 days to get here and fix a plug which will take all of three minutes to repair.

Windstream is one day away from losing a 40yr continuous customer. Brilliant!

Internet been out since 10am Tuesday morning about 2:48 pm received a text saying system back up but still don't have Internet as of 3pm Wednesday.Ive made several phone calls but keep getting the run around I'm very displeased with this service and the customer service I tried calling Windstream corporate office but no one answers that phone no matter what option you pick I can not wait until another internet provider is offered in my area so I can change service. I'd give a negative rate if it was offered

I can't say anything bad enough that would be good enough for this company. 3 ticket orders all made incorrectly . I escalation ticket. Multiple reps telling us we would have service by a certain date. Which has passed . No service.

1 supervisor promising to call the next day with escalation update. No call back. STILL the WRONG ADDRESS in the system and a supervisor right now has me on hold bc she won't allow me to speak to her about the account bc somehow I magically am not listed on the account.

Which I reconfirmed yesterday with the new ticket !!! And supervisor Olivia refused to even give me her credentials to even talk to someone .

Windstream has very bad customer service and technicians. I spoke to a representative and asked for a supervisor and he left me on hold for 40 min then came back to say there was a technician in my area to fix my internet I asked for a supervisor again and

was left on hold again and then he told me that there was no one available. He was very rude and unknowable so I called back and spoke to someone else who also didn't connect me with supervisor. It is impossible to get a hold of a supervisor or manager.

Would like to give a negative star but there isn’t one. My internet had been out 7 days. They scheduled a technician to come today. Just got a text saying he would not be able to come out until Friday. Not acceptable.

I called and all I got was, they just have too many jobs scheduled today. Well, why did they over schedule? I’m very upset about the runaround. My husband has a part time business that depends on using the internet and he hasn’t been able to do his work.

This is not acceptable at all.

I have a telephone pole owned by Windstream that has been rotted out for years. They have neglected to replace it. A month ago it fell partially over which ripped out the electric from my home and damaged my house.

I am wanting a new pole and the cost of electrical repairs covered.

First off I would not even give them one star. There service is terrible. There customer service is even worse . I called a few times and they were rude , hateful, they did not help me and they did not try to be understanding at all.

Very unprofessional for sure . Ever since I got service started with wind stream it's been a nightmare. Ok so in the beginning I had acp added to my Windstream account and was supposed to pay like $30. Ok so the acp covers $30 of someones internet bill.

So that would mean that without acp it should be 60$. Well my bill has been like 124$ every month and I never know what my bill is going to be. No matter what even when I pay the full amount of the bill they still say there is a past due balance every single month.

Awful. Internet is slow, inconsistent but my main complain is support. I wanted to make a payment arrangement bc I started a new job and my paycheck hits Wednesday morning but the bill was due Monday morning. She asked for my account #, idk it by heart so I say I know the last 4 bc that's all they asked for earlier b4 transfer and she instantly starts talking over me and getting obviously annoyed.

I asked if they're always this awful or is it just today and the call didn't get better. I've worked phone support, it's frustrating but by no means difficult, if you can't sit on your ass and talk, go home, try to draw a check. Worthless.

I will be allowing my account to default and DC, il pay the extra 200$ Wednesday to get my old ISP back. GG

I have had no working landline phone for 2 months and the internet is very spotty! I pay my bill on time. I should get credit for the two months I haven’t had any service. Can’t get anyone on the phone that speaks English that you can understand to deal with the problem.

Can’t get the technician to show up. Waited all day for him to show up according to the ticket that was created(he didn’t show up and didn’t let us know he wasn’t coming). This location is at our farm in a different county so we wasted a whole day for nothing.

Windstream is a joke and their customer service too!

I had Windstream for a couple years and had problem after problem with the service. Whan another company came to the area I moved to them. I cancelled service on April 19, 2023. I was then charged for a full months service on May 10, 2023.

When I called in I was told that I didn't cancel until May 10. When I proved that was a lie, I was then told it was my fault for not cancelling service on the service date. 5 hours on the phone and multiple calls to finally get them to admit that they messed up.

I now have to wait a week to get a refund of money that never should have been stolen from me. This company is not trustworthy and the customer service is terrible.

I am complaining because I've tried to call customer service 2 days straight and it says 24/7 and I was on the phone for over a a hour and still no answer. My internet is not working and I have to use hot spot which will charge me all because nobody will answer the phone I'm currently on the phone waiting for somebody to answer and yet have I heard anybody answer. I also used the chat and I understand there's no connection which is why I'm trying to call.

In July of 2022, I began getting charged for two internet lines, when I only have ever had one. (I called in July to talk about lowering my bill with a rep. This is when they made the mistake and added another internet line that I had no idea about. I never asked for two) When I called to question someone about it, I was told they could only give me credit for 3 of the nine months that I've been over charged.

It is ridiculous I have to pay for something that was clearly not my fault. I have been a faithful Windstream customer for over 10 years now, always paying my bill on time. I will be looking for a new internet provider and I will let others know about this. 00 month I wasn't made aware of this by anyone. I didn't know it was changing. When it did whoever there that handles things jacked the internet up from what I was getting to the most expensive y'all had. I didn't ok this in any way.

Then I wasn't made aware of that for 3 months. I get a letter in the mail y'all going to disconnect so I call. They said they been emailing me but that was a lie. I had one email 3 days before that was it.

00 a month for it cause that's how much it was. I've tried to handle this but this isn't on me it's y'alls fault. I'd like to become a customer again or at least I did. Not so sure now.

If there was a way to leave 0 stars I would. I had setup 4 different rental properties with appointments to install service. Two of them were on a Thursday and the next two appointments were the next day on Friday.

All four addresses were located right by each other.

First appointment was at 8am-10am, they still had not showed up by 11am so I called and they told me the appointment was pushed back for both addresses until 1:00-3pm. So 3:30pm rolls around and I called again and they said my service was put on hold and no one would be coming out.

After finding out my orders were put on hold in error they said the soonest they could be out was a 9 days out. This would not work as I flew down to Georgia specifically for these appointments because they require someone to be at the house and…

This company takes advantage of rural areas with not many options. For years my bill has changed for no reason. When I call it's most rudeness and unclear answers. I have been with this company for 30 plus years because we have no choice.

They tell you you're getting a certain internet speed and you're not, their live chat does not work, their feedback feature does not work, when you call their hold time is very long. They are crooks!!! Their solution is payup or you don't have phone and internet service.

Received very slow internet speed prior to 17 Feb 23. Called help desk on 17 Feb 23. They could not help. They set up a date to install fiber optic cable and new modem on 22 Feb 23. Technician and I verified internet connection with very satisfactory results. Next day, no internet. Called help desk.

Was told they had system outage and would call when it was resolved (no return call from help desk). Called help desk again on 24 Feb 23. I was advised a PRIORITY repair ticket was issued. M. called help desk again and was advised a technician was scheduled for 1 Mar 23, no estimated time given.

Before I could get additional information I was disconnected. Now, I have was experiencing bad service prior to 22 Feb 23 to no service through today 27 Feb 23. Paying for service I am not getting.

I reported my dsl internet service down last Thursday. (12/29/22) a technician was dispatched and oribed the trouble to be both cable pairs crossed to working pairs. Ot was referred to cable repair and we thought they would dispatch on friday.

Mid day Friday i called in for status on our open ticket and was told no one would dispatch until Tuesday 1/2/23. On Tuesday we received a text with an appt window. No one ever was dispatched and when I called at the end of the repair visit window, I was told it was still inntje system for Tuesday by 5pm.

Then I received another text showing our repair for wed 1/3/23. On wed, it changed to Thursday 1/4/23. My wife called Wednesday and requested an escalation and a call back to me, the primary account holder. Not only did no one ever call, no one…

A month ago received a email stating that my affordable connectivity credit was being disconnected because my service was being turned off. I called back in right away to inform them that my service was not being turned off and that I did not cancel anything including my affordable connectivity credit.

The the person I talked to said they would put it back on my account and I would get credit this month which is January 2023 on my bill. Just received my bill for $85 and my credit was not on there, it should have been reduced by $30. m. m.

I am on disability and only receive a check on the third of every month. I'm on the Federal Internet discount program and had to contact the FCC about Windstream not honoring their end of the program and now they billed me on the 29th of the month, made a frantic call on the 30th and 31st to try and resolve the late payment?

The payment is in the mail. The payment was made as soon as I was able to make it. My bill was one day late and I'm receiving phone calls and receiving service shut off notices? I'll be getting back in touch with the FCC about billing harassment.

The absolute worst customer service. I called today to see why my sons internet bill was so high and to get his internet back on. I was transfered to lines that were not in operation, hung up on several times and even transfered to tech support.

My son was mislead on October 31st about a security service package. He was told it would only increase his bill by $10. He was mailed 2 cheap indoor cameras that he was never able to get working. He was also told there would be no activation fee but was charged $60 also was charged $60 for each camera.

In total $123 charges that he shouldn't have been charged. This is a very sad and dishonest way to do anyone but even worse to lie and try to over charge people who are disabled.

I writing in regards to account #073599896 Edna Rucker. The internet has been out since December 12 2022 and someone was supposed to come December 20 2022 6:00pm ticket #52184437. No one has came I’ve been without internet long enough I can’t do work on my laptop my son can’t play his online games me and my wife can’t watch tv.

The bill was just paid a few weeks ago and now I’m being told that you guys can’t get anyone out here until December 30 2022 and that’s ridiculous. We need a refund,major discount or immediate service out here

I cant get in touch with a real person. Ive been trying to pay my bill for the past week. Spent my lunch break for the past week looking for phone numbers. Last month I called and someone helped me. This is getting rediculous.

I dont get a paper bill. They send me an email saying i can view my bill but I cant. I have no idea what my account number is so I Cant pay it online. A little assistance would be great. Like actual customer service.

I am not tech savy. It should not be this difficult to get in touch with someone. On top of all that my internet is out today and since i dont know my account number i cant even report it because i cant speak to a real person.

I have been working with Windstream Kinetic since Nov 3rd to get internet service to my home. There have been several issues that have cone up and no one will allow me to speak with a manager. No one calls me back to keep me informed as to the progress either.

Both my wife and I work from home and currently have to drive 10 miles away to use the computers at the local library. I have tried calling the corporate office and no one answers the phone in the complaint dept.

I am angry, highly stressed and very frustrated at the incredibly poor customer service I have received from Windstream.

Account services agent was extremely rude. My autopay had turned off (unknown by me) 2 months ago, so I received a past due notice. Speaking with the agent, who I had immense trouble understanding, due to English as a second language, I assume, and when I finally got he to check my account status, she said it was overdue.

But, I had gone to my Kinetic account online and paid it and also re-instituted autopay. She said she did not see that, then after a few moments of attempting to get info from her, she said it went through and the line went dead. Very poor customer service!

We found out this summer after calling out a technician to repair our Windstream connection that Windstream had been billing us for over 2 years for what they call a second “green line,” in which we never had. Their billing is extremely vague, and their customer service representatives are outsourced and a joke to deal with.

It took months for me to finally get in contact with a human being who was able to remove this extra line, in which we never requested, nor used, but were being charged for. I was only able to get a number to do so through the technician, as the regular customer support would routinely transfer me in circles or hang up on me, making it nearly impossible to disconnect this non existent second line.

After getting it disconnected, I was sent in circles through care…

To whom it may concern: My account # is 100132554 account name is Jimmy Lowrey. I have tried to resolve this issue for 2 months now. I call windstream and because my dish is bundled with windstream and windstream says that they bill the customer as to what dish says the charges are.

No internet for the last month and a half. (Using voice to text) So on November 9th of this year, I called Windstream to set up a date to connect my internet after I just moved in to my new place.

I was then sent an email back saying November 14th They will have a technician out here to set up my internet. I live in the old historic house that they converted into a duplex and theres a lady that lives upstairs and I have the whole downstairs, it's made into two houses/ apartments.

She actually has internet through Wyndham and that's how I figured who I would get my Internet through. So on the 14th of November I had a technician show up and he was here for a couple hours at least and he said he wasn't getting a good signal coming from the pole to my house.

They have bad customer service and half them do not speake English very well. Since Windstream join kentic it's been a nightmare. The customer service people get upset with you when you ask them to repeat there self rush you off the phone so you can't ask answer about your account.

Every time you call and make arrangements about the bill it's different every time. 00 say it have to have that on a card just so I can pay on the extended date. I have ssi and my money comes then .

I'm not going have no money on my card till then . So many change with them. So looking I'm for another internet provider . They checking my bank account like it there's.

I assume they severed the line to my house. 5 days from when they caused our internet to be disconnected. in my mind, they haven’t completed their original appointment because their actions severed out connectivity.
