I have been a member for AAA since I started working with them back in 2012. I worked there from 2012-2016 and had never had any issues with the company then until now that I have had to use the Road side assistance varies times during the years and

the last couple times have been so bad that I don’t even know if it’s worth it to even continue to renew my membership. I had to request a tow truck on 10/24/22 due to my van not starting up.

I called in the towing service at 5pm and stated that it was urgent due to the fact that I was on the emergency lane on a busy expressway side. They stated that they were on there way and that by 6pm I would get picked up.

Well 6pm came around and nothing, called and dispatch stated that the tow truck was about 30 minutes away due to traffic,…

The transition of the AAA Advantage credit card from Bank of America to Comenity has been nothing short of disappointing. Comenity did not send a card for the primary account holder so cannot access online services. Even after call made by primary account holder requesting card, no card received two weeks later.

One card arrived in authorized user's name but they will not speak to authorized user, even in spite of their error. The lack of corrective action is very frustrating and hugely inconvenient. We will be transferring our balance and will close this account.

We were very happy with this card when it was part of the B of A family. So sad about the decision to sell out.

I very recently joined AAA - Classic Auto Insurance. Together with the membership card they sent me a week later was a form entitled “What does the Auto Club Group do with your personal Information?" This form asks for my Policy Number and says to mail it back to them if I do not want my Personal Information shared by them to all sorts of businesses. – Fine!

However, none of the papers they sent even mentioned a Policy Number nor did they send an address where it should be mailed. So I tried phoning "AAA - Customer Service". I told them that I had my Membership Number at hand (4290147103109005) and asked them to please use that to look up and tell me what my Policy Number is. - They hemmed and hawed and wound up putting me on an indefinite hold. Ask for a tow at 7:45 am today. It is now 3;22. We've been told at least 4 times it would be there within the hour. s. it's happened more once. After this I will be terminating my membership. After. 18 yrs.

Travel Service has let me down big time and told me today - one week before I travel to Hyatt Zilara - Punta Cana the hotel is closed till November . I am extremely disappointed in AAA's customer service. , but boyfriend contacted AAA because he had a flat tire on the side of the freeway. We have a joint account. AAA sent a staff member out to fix the flat.

My boyfriend sent the staff member who was coming out a pin on his location. The staff member called my boyfriend and angrily stated that his location was incorrect, which it was not. The staff member arrived and indicated that he could not put on the spare tire due to the size (although this spare was what came with the car).

He said he'd call a tow truck. The staff member entered the wrong address and my boyfriend had to contact customer service once again. He was told it would take 2 hours before the tow truck could arrive. My boyfriend patiently waited.

Good Afternoon,

I have a complaint to make at one of your company's contracted thru you. I had a driver at the scene of a 4 car Tc 3 vehicles of which went to west hills towing in Los Angeles California on Deering Ave which is a AAA provider. Each of the 3 employees picked up the vehicles however never picked up the mess belonging to each of the cars they towed. At that point we contacted the manager at that location and was said he would turn his drivers back around to clean up and collect the items that belonged to those vehicles. Not one of the drivers went back to the scene as well as the officer placed a call to AAA and they blocked the call from coming thru. I cancelled my total AAA service about 6 months ago. No insurance and no membership benefits. Today I see they charged my bank account $89 for membership dues. I call them and was told they will refund me my money BUT it'll take 10 to 15 business days!!

I informed them it was unauthorized and if it is not back by Monday, October 4 I will be contacting a lawyer and the BBB which I find out they are not accredited with them. I ask to talk to a supervisor and because of Ian that could take days.

I'm not heartless I see the devastated state. There has to be a better way to get things done.

I dropped my car off on Saturday Sept. 10th before I left for vacation. I was to get my blinkers fixed and my tire pressure modular light fixed. They called me on Wednesday and said my car was done. When I picked it up on the following Saturday the blinkers were fixed but the tire modular light was still on.

I asked them why it was still on and they said it shouldn’t be please bring it back in and we will take a look at it. I dropped it off again on Friday night September 23rd for them to look at it again on that Saturday .

Again they called me and said it was fixed. I picked it up and again the tire modular light was still on. I don’t understand why I paid $754 to have them put on machine and look at what was wrong, fix the blinkers and attempt to fix modular light.

Called for service in Atlanta , GA on 9/24 @ approximately 5:30, as of 6:45am no arrival or no one could give me an ETA. When I called back I was told that they had no record being dispatched to the address that was give.

Gave all the information that was needed and to find out no truck was called out. My son waited outside of his van where his keys are locked inside and than where he was at was threatened that the police would be called thinking he was trying to break into his own van.

We pay for this service and to be put through this is unacceptable. The first rep had me on hold for 20 minutes just to verify our card membership. At this time which is 7:25 am and he is still stranded.

I would like for someone to find out who this incompetent person they have working there then fire…

Car broke down in a small store parking lot. I needed a tow. It was 111° that day. I requested service. After an initial estimate of 2 hours wait, and after standing in the heat, I eventually spoke with a nice human who could do nothing and I walked home.

Finally after 3 hours a tow truck came. This isn’t fast service as advertised. I’m a +30 years member. Totally disappointed.

Been wait8ng since 1516 for AAA to get truck. Triple A is the worst service ever. mother sat in the Las Vegas heat and was reported as an emergency. Had truck pushed out of 2 lanes of traffic and went and bought, installed a new battery before AAA ever arrived.

Anyone asks, it's HORIBLE HORRIBLE. Waiting now over 3 5 hours

I was broke down on the side of I75 w about 30 miles east of Naples ,Fl at approximately 2:30PM August 28 when I contacted AAA for roadside assistance. The agent i spoke with was kind and understanding of my circumstances.

After acknowledgement that I would need a tow my Eta was for 3 hours. 00 plus tax. Even though I am a "plus" member I accepted the offer anyway. I was told that i would be contacted by the towing service and by a AAA agent when they were in route.

After hearing nothing from anybody i called AAA back to ask if somebody was in route at 5:03 She apologized and set up another appointment and assured me that i would get help.. I then shortly later was called by someone else from AAA and told that the driver was busy but in route.

Called AAA to get roadside assistance due to having engine trouble and was told it would be an additional 4 hours after waiting almost 2 hours before I called to check on the status. Really almost 6 hours before my vehicle can get towed do they only have 1 towing company they use?

The rep apologized and said they were running behind. I get running behind but almost 6 hours stranded at a storage facility totally unacceptable. Canceling services with AAA what a waste of money being I have not used them in a few years.

My car was overheating called aaa on 8/29/22 @ 550 pm told them where I wanted car towed said it be now to 845pm when I get serviced . 845 pm no tow truck 10. Pm no tow truck 11 pm called mid Atlantic they tried to get hold of driver no answer .

Said they tell dispatch and someone would call in 15 -20 minutes . 12 am Wednesday no call fell asleep after 22. Woke up around 430 saw towing company called at 419 tried to call back no answer . I HAVE CALLED AAA ON SEVERAL OCASSIONS IN DECEMBER 2021 ONE OF MY CARS NEEDED TO BE TOWED. , AFTER 2 HOURS, NO DRIVER AFTER 4 HOURS NO DRIVER AFTER 8 HRS THEY CALLED AND STATED THEY ARE IN ROUTE WHILE I AM IN MY BED.

I HAD TO PAY FOR THESE TOWS WHILE I HAVE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND THEY CAN'T ASSISTANCE ME WHEN I NEED THEM. I PAY MY FEES EVERY YEAR. NOW THEY SENDING ME AAA FOR LIFE INSURANCE WOW IF MY FAMILY NEED THE LIFE INSURANCE I DON'T THINK AAA WILL COME THROUGH I PUT THAT MESS IN THE TRASH.

This is the second time that I am having a problem with my AAA battery service. My battery was changed 2 years ago; This past June, my battery was dead and I called AAA; a technician arrived and changed my battery; the whole thing took probably 5 minutes.

One month later, my battery was dead, and I called again; another technician arrived and checked the battery. He told me that "it had been installed improperly, and there was nothing he could do, since he did not want to be "liable, and left.

I then called AAA tow company and, a wonderful young man, Chris, took my car to my garage in Santa Monica. They kept my car there for several days and told me that it was strange that it took so long to charge the battery, but, when it was ready, they told me everything was fine, and I drove away.…

I have been a AAA member since 2004. This year 2022 I need their road assistance twice in which AAA never provided the assistance. No one showed up. I wait with my family for 4 hour and 30 minutes. I ended up hiring a towing truck.

Paying for a service that was never provided when needed. I will recommend anyone to rather go with the auto insurance road assistance option and forget about AAA.

If there were an option for 0 starts I… If there were an option for 0 stars I would chose it. AAA refused to provide services to my fiance in my car with our 6 month old baby in 95 degrees Fahrenheit because he did not have his own membership number.

Then they proceeded to give us a $500 estimate for the 40 mile tow when my mileage covered is 200 miles. And you know the tow company that would end up providing the service would never see anywhere near that $500.

Why am I paying for this service again? This is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with.

On 7/29/22 I had a tire blow out on the 91 freeway in Anaheim. I pulled off the freeway and called roadside service. On my first call the AAA responder called a company near my home in Menifee. Realizing that they had the wrong information, the towing company asked me to recall AAA and explain the error.

I was on the phone, waiting for the 'next available representative' for over an hour. Someone (who was walking by) asked if I needed help and he put my spare tire on the car. I was then able to get to a tire store and purchase a new tire.

Spending that much time waiting for someone to answer my call is unacceptable. I always felt secure knowing that AAA was there to help me when I needed it. Now I am wondering why I have a membership at all!

Have been a triple A member since 1997. I have always received my membership cards every year as Christmas gift. This past Christmas the cards were ordered and neither I or my Wife (Kristin Christie) have received our membership cards.

5 hours for AAA in January was a stroke of luck; but it was, because a truck actually ARRIVED. Last night her car broke down on one of the most treacherous highways in Washington, with zero shoulder on one side and a lake on the other.

She called AAA, and they said they’d call back. More than an hour later, someone called her back to say EVERYONE HAS GONE HOME, and nobody can help her. So wrong in so many ways, the most obvious being 1) why should it take 1 hour+ to determine they would let her down, and 2) why is no help available?

When I joined AAA in 1984, it was for 24-hour road service. How did I miss where it’s now road service only during hours that they see fit? Or, if it’s still 24 hours, WHY WAS IT NOT SO LAST NIGHT?

A 1 at best, their customer service is poor, so I cancelled based on this aggregating/bad experience for a tow. Billed anyway, no one at AAA seems to care about my experience, say they understand but not their problem. Been getting run around ever time I call, I have repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, have them call me - nothing so far… If they treat a 17 year member like this?

I could say and state plenty more of this crazy experience with what I presumed a reasonable company???

July 5th, Christin Hatch, She had a flat tire on run flat tires in a 2022 new corvette. near Banning on her way to Palm Springs. AAA Roadside Service was called at 3:00 in the afternoon. The flatbed tow truck arrived at 9:00 PM.

I hope this complaint does not fall on death ears. My husband Ron Shorter experienced a burned vehicle. After the fire dept came and put off the fire, Ronald Shorter called AAA to pick up the vehicle to be towed to our mechanic until we could see what the insurance adjuster was going to let us know the next step, unfortunately, each department at Geico Insurance handles incidents separately, which meant my husband Ronald has to wait until Tuesday due to the 4th of July to speak with another adjuster. I started a call on Monday June 6th around 10am needing road aside assistance. I made sure I said it was for a motorcycle and they said it would be about an hour. And when they showed it was with a tow truck that could not tow a motorcycle.

On May 14, 2022 I called for Roadside Assistance. The AAA mechanic assessed my situation and it was determined that I needed a new battery. He advised me that he had the appropriate battery for my car on his truck and the battery could be installed on the spot. Great! I bought the battery, had it installed, and paid for it with my Citibank credit card. The transaction total was $174.99.

I asked for a transaction receipt and was told by the mechanic that his tablet could not produce a receipt at the moment. He assured me that a receipt would be emailed to me shortly. This company gave me a free battery that was bad. Cost me $1000 replacing starter ect... I want a refund of $1000 for all the Hassel and work not needed because it was faulty battery. This Free battery cost me $1000 wish I got my own battery.

2 manager Russ at Walton, KY said not his fault... no longer with company. Now Chris new manager doesn't care I dropped off battery. Should have kept for evidence... I have pictures and receipts.

we waited over four hours for help. I called 4 times. Casey said the Fatcats upstairs tell them to guess when someone will arrive. I called at 6:03 and was told McClain County Towing would arrive at 7:35 also that I should get a link to track them, never got one.

Called again heard it pick up voices etc. but they put me back in the enter your card number part. Obviously they didn't want t be bothered. Ive been waiting now two hours with a disabled car after getting through to a AAA rep for roadside assistance. Their ETA was passed over an hour ago with no call or text notification whatsoever. Attempts to get through to AAA roadside assistance, Kansas by phone thereafter were absolutely unsuccessful and frustrating.

If this is an example of roadside "assistance" I expected a bit better. At this writing, I have been on hold for at least 30 minutes after hanging up twice waiting for a customer service representative. I have left my car where it was disabled and still hope to hear from AAA about my local tow request put in over three hours ago.

My mechanic of 25 years tested my AAA battery and my charging system and determined my battery was bad. Since it was a AAA warranty, I was jumped and I brought my car home. I called AAA the next morning.

Stegall came to my house as a AAA tech. The tech was great, but he said the even though it only had a 50% charge after being charged by my mechanic, AAA would not replace it. This was the 2nd battery gone bad from AAA.

I have entered a complaint with AAA and I'm awaiting their response. I charged that battery overnight and it never went above 55% charge. I called Interstate Battery ( the battery brand) and their tech said that indicates a bad battery, usually from age.

My father was an AAA member for about 20 years when he unexpectedly passed from a motor vehicle accident. Unfortunately, one of his vehicles was stolen while my family was going through the probate process, but it happened to be picked up as an abandoned vehicle nearly 40 minutes from his residence.

My family had to pay for the storage fees at the tow yard, and because it was not starting, it was suggested to see if my dad had AAA membership and try to use that. My family contacted AAA who informed us we could not use his membership if he was not present.

4 hrs and still waiting for a tow. When I called the said I will get a call in 30 min . At the 4 hour call they said somebody would call in 30 min. I said 4 hrs already call the dispatch and get an eta.

1st expierance was great, loved AAA. SECOND-MY VAN BROKE DOWN. THE ENTIRE STRETCH OF HIGHWAY HAS NO CELL SERVICE. I HIKED THE HIGHEST HILL TO CALL FOR HELP. I EXPRESSED THAT THERE WAS NO SERVICE AND NO WAY TO CONFIRM TO THE TOW DRIVER.

THE TOW WAS DISPATCHED BUT NO-ONE CAME. 6 HOURS LATER CALLED AGAIN, EXPESSED EVEN THOUGH I COULDN'T MAKE CONTACT WITH TOW TRUCK, I CONFIRM I AM AND WILL BE AT MY VEHICLE, NO-ONE CAME. HOURS LATER , MY 3RD REQUEST FOR A TOW RESULTED THE SAME.

On April 4, 2022 at 11:30 am we contacted AAA for a flat tire. We waited all day for service constantly being told someone was on their way. We called 4 times and kept checking our text messages which said “We are almost there”! We went to bed and called Toyota Roadside Service at 7 am on April 5th. AAA called at 7:30 am to see if anyone had arrived. We have been members of AAA since 1983 and have never been so disappointed.

Don't bother joining AAA. Have been members for years and have used only 4 times. Each time we were told someone was on the way, they never were. After waiting over 3 hours each time, they finally told us to get someone ourselves, they couldn't help us.

I'm on hold now to file a complaint and have been waiting for 28 minutes. Pathetic. They do, however, have time to take my money.

this past Friday afternoon i needed roadside from AAA because i was stranded on I -75 near Naples Florida. i called the number on my AAA premier card and the service was unacceptable. The wait to get a human on the line is too For example, i gave the customer service representative my location near Naples and she sent a service request from Tallahassee -that is nearly 5 hours away.

and that's just for starters. please call me at 305 342 2311 to discuss I have tried to call numerous times but i cant get anyone to call me -again unacceptable. i've been a member for two decades

I WAS DENIED SERVICE FOR A TOW FOR MY VEHICLE ON SAT. 26, 22 . DRIVING BACK HOME TO CORPUS CHRISTI TX. A FEW MILES INTO IT MY VEHICLE STARTED SPUTTERING ,MISSING , I TURNED BACK ,BARELY MAKING IT BACK TO WHERE I WAS STAYING IN SAN ANTONIO TX.

I SAID TO MYSELF , NEVER !! IN MY 14 YEARS OF BEING A PREMIERE MEMBER HAVE I HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE AND NEGATIVITY FROM YOUR REP AND STAFF , AAA FAILED ME WHEN I NEEDED SERVICE . THERE GOES MY MEMBERSHIP !

I call to request service, spoke to a representatives who in turn submitted it. I got the tex stating it had been received. I had a flat tire and was not in my home area.. I waited over 3 hours and there was no show or call.

I got a tex apology stating that sorry could not come at the time that was given to me. It didn't state that it was not coming at all. Fortunately I finally got home, it been over 15 hours and yet to ever get any assistance or hear from anyone or tex.

When I joined IAAA I expected service that has been paid for.

I have been a member of AAA for over 20 years and probably recommended that many people or more. I relocated to Georgia 2013 and been a member since that time. Today, I called to have a tire changed and the person from AAA told me that I was REFUSED service from Loganville, GA. or close by areas.

I have been a loyal customer since 2013 and never used the service until today. The person from AAA was supposed to call back and never did. I called again and was finally able to get service after 3 hours.

I must admit that I just moved to Monroe, Ga. a week ago and gave right street, but incorrect house number, (3 blocks off) but the guy that came was professional, cordial and VERY FRIENDLY and I thank him for that.

As far as AAA, I'M DONE. Why should I pay membership and get REFUSED for…

I called AAA for a tow on Wednesday (November 5, 2022) at 3pm. The representative stated they will dispatch a tow service to my address in 90 minutes. That time has passed and gone so I called them for a status.

Come to find out they NEVER dispatched a tow. Guess when they FINALLY picked up my vehicle? Today November 7, 2022 at 1130 in the morning. Almost 48 hours later. REALLY!!!! AAA use to be great but lately they have been HORRIBLE!

When I talked to the driver he stated AAA has been telling customers they dispatched the call to the tow companies but he told me they NEVER received them. Now who is lying? I’m more inclined to believe the drivers because they get paid by the tow so shame on you AAA.

I’ve been a loyal customer for 21 years and when my membership comes due in October…
