Greendot Bank cancelled my card prematurely and has failed to send me a new card to my current address. They are telling me i need to email documents ( ID and utility bill) I have been emailing them for over a week and they are saying they are not getting it or they cant open it.

Meanwhile, my direct deposit is sitting out there and I have no access to my money while i have bills i need to pay. They are giving me the run around and my bills are at risk.

Right before Christmas in 2019, I went to a Fred Meyer to load money onto my card. I didn't know there was a delay between the load and funds being available. I went to check the balance over the phone, but the menu system screwed up with not taking phone inputs immediately, and my card ended up getting cancelled. I have sent documentation of current address AND my drivers license, but they refuse to issue a new card, and now I'm taking on late fees with my storage unit because I can't get it paid because I can't get to the money to pay it. Because the actual account is locked, I can't move money to PayPal to get around this issue, either. So now my money is being held hostage.

Account now... you will owe me $130+ when this is said and done.

The Customer Service Representative cancelled my card prematurely and then stated that I would have to pay $25 to have a new one expedited (3-days) or have them mail it out in regular mail, which would take 7-10 days. I had funds that I needed access to in order to pay bills that was due but didn't have access to my funds due to the card being deactivated.

They would not help me in that matter, I was hung up on 3 times and got very frustrated because I kept asking for an actual Manager but kept getting transferred to a Supervisor who was no help at all. They treated me like I was in the wrong for complaining for what she did and never held the representative accountable for what she had done.

Now I have to pay my bill LATE because my funds will not be accessible until I receive my new…

This company is the absolute worst! NEVER use account now. It's a scam and when you have an issue it's basically impossible to speak with a live person. Wait time is an Hour plus after 15mins of prompting for a live agent.

Too many system issues UNABLE TO GET YOUR MONEY that has been deposited. Never use the company

How is it that if file a dispute that you have the rite to block my card when i tell you not too because of things i have to do on Thursday when my payroll hits my account? You shouldn't have the rite to block a costumer card if and when they request that you do not .

I need to get my car fix on Thursday and now i have know way of doing that. So tell how will i get the kids to school, go to the store, doctors appointment???? You do not think for the consumer .

On 8/14 my paycheck was deposited in my account. After verifying my funds were available to me on my lunch break I went to HEB grocery store to get a money order. 25 . I immediately contact account now asked what had happen to my funds and the replied that 2 transaction in the amount of $400 and $503 were processed.

Not giving me any other information only that it was done out of a state that I have know ties to or have ever been to. After submitting the required documents that you all requested with in 24 hours of receiving I got an email denying my claim and told me case was closed and if I wanted to know the details on why I ( me the victim ) needed to send you all a letter requesting your denial.

There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE through AccountNOW.

It's impossible to even speak to a Human because you can't get past the computer to even find out how to dispute a HOLD that is falsely taking money. When attempting to file the claim as directed and the system REFUSES TO ACCEPT THE ACCOUNT NUMBER PROVIDED BY THE COMPUTER, there is nowhere to turn.

This is the 2nd time in 2 months I have lost money to this Card Vendor that I have run THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS THROUGH FOR YEARS. I used to think AccountNow was a great source for paying bills, but no more. I intend to spread the word to anyone and everyone I encounter to NEVER trust this company again.

I did a bill pay and your system duplicated it. I called immediately on Monday 4/8/19. The two bill pay was cancelled. I was told it would take 24/72 hours to get this back on my account. As of today 4/16/19 I still don't have this back on my account so that I can pay bills.

I keep getting the message from Customer Service that they haven't received an update as yet. I work as an accountant and this is not the way you handle someone else's money. I have called everyday and I get the same message. I just don't understand.

I call my account now bank card to see how much that was in my account on March 27,2019 and the it stated that I only had $226 .po in my account so I call the bank and stated that my funds was pending. On March 16, 2019 after a declined purchase I checked my account balance and learned that my balance of over 1,800$ had been drained to zero without my knowledge. I immediately called account now and was informed that my account had been compromised and unauthorized tranactions made.

I picked up account now because i liked the early pay. I got my check on Wednesday morning, everyone else, Friday! Everything was going great until i had to call customer service over an issue i was having with text alerts and speaking about security i made the remark that i have 2 cards, 1 to buy stuff online, stores and whatever and the other just to hold my money.

On July 27,2018 I received a email from account now asking me to rate an employee based on a telephone conversation that I had. Upon receiving the email that I knew nothing about, I called account now customer service and informed them that I had not called them about my account.

i informed them that I did not call. They deactivated my account, asked me to fax a copy of my driver's license and social security card. I faxed the documents. Because of someone else's negligence, I am without funds. They told me that I have to wait 5 business days before I can access my funds.

I have battled with Account Now Prepaid for the return of my monies on my account now prepaid card, which was closed by them (without my consent) for some time now (over $2000). I am homeless and living on the streets now and could desperately use my money to at least get some temporary housing and food.

My card that was activated in December 2017 was closed on Feb. 6,2018 without prior notification. 2017 and is still active. I was told that my account was closed due to inactivity and that AccountNow close accounts within 2-3 months of inactivity.

On 11/16 account now restricted my card over a $32 charge that I did not dispute, they decided to dispute it without even discussing it with me first. My SSI was deposited then they froze my account,I found out when I went to get groceries and propane so we could have heat for our trailer. Can't.

On 11/16 your company decided to dispute a charge on my account which they never called and asked me about they just did it without my knowledge, and restricted my card. I was told they needed a copy of photo ID and social security card,just to be safe I went ahead and sent them a letter from their company (account now) to myself at this address.

When time was out and they were to take restriction off so I could have access to MY MONEY, they wanted something else so sent a copy of a letter from social security. Now they want me to tell them who that mysterious charge was made to, I don't remember I use that card for everything rather than carry cash.

on June 19, 2017 my card ending in 1141 was flagged as compromised, account cancel the card without letting me know. it was not until i tried to use my card and it kept getting declined. I was then informed that a new card that was a new card was mailed to an old address that i live years a go and updated my address with them almost two years ago.

so i don 't know why they sent a new card out without confirming the address??? when i asked about the policy they i was then told that when the get notified a compromised the cancel the card without notifing the customer.

My complaint is about an ongoing problem with my gold Visa. I should not have to send a copy of my drivers license and social security card to this company every time I have an issue with my card. I feel I have money missing out of my account at AccountNow.

I requested a transaction history be mail to me because I can't access my account on line. But they already have all my history online. I will eventually in the very near future take my business somewhere else. Almost makes me think AccountNow is actually an account scam!

The account dispute department is not capable of doing their job. For whatever reason after my complaints I still cannot get a response as to what is going on. Stated they did everything to find out where my money is and they are very incompetent.

The money was stolen at a casino but they say they cant find the error. How hard is it to view video tapes to see a persons withdrawing your funds? Avoid this bank for the fraud that they really are.
