My system was installed in 11/2018. Until August 29, 2022 the system has been unreliable to the point that we stopped using it! So many service calls. So many calls to customer service. So many requests to speak to or meet with a supervisor-NEVER would this mystery man, known as Joe Meister call me! I asked for YEARS!

All this time I was paying $60 monthly fees and paying for service visits even though we have your QSP.

FINALLY a tech who knew what the problem has been all along! I finally was lucky enough to speak with the elusive Joe Meister! 95 service call fee! The tech who fixed it he problem which has been an issue from the getgo was so appreciated.

I wanted to thank Joe Meister for sending this tech. Joe Meister BLOCKED my call!! Is THAT the customer service culture ADT fosters??…

My complaint is with a authorized dealer by the name of Tyrone Cunningham on August 3, 2022 Mr. Cuttinghill told me that he will pay my first months Bill due to that I would not have the signs it to September 1 I do have proof I have text messages betwee mr. Cunningham at myself.

I CANCELLED JULY 20th! It is not cancelled…. And you are adding more monthly bills to make my buyout more!!!!!!! ADT is the worst system out there. Been with them 3 years, every month is a new issue, hassle, failure and/or problem. Their customer service is NON EXISTENT. They claim to be the biggest dog out there but they can't even afford to have someone answer a phone, much less fix a problem and ALL my problems have been created and extended by them.

Do yourself a favor, go with VIVANT and have a real security system with real customer care. ADT is too old, too big and you don't matter to them. My family matters to me, and that's why I'm leaving ADT.

I have purchased a new home and need to cancel ADT services. Tried to cancel online, but found I had to call in. I did so and stayed on hold one day for 30 minutes before having to hang up. The next time I waited 40 minutes, someone answered, and then put me on hold again when I said I needed to cancel. Finally someone else answered and I spoke with them giving all the information to cancel. He then said because we were a LONG TIME customer he had to transfer me to a supervisor to finalize it (I had already given him old and new addresses and everything he needed). Then after he transferred me, the person said he transferred me to the wrong department and she'd have to transfer me. At this point I had been on the phone well over an hour! All because I'm a LONG TIME CUSTOMER!!!

My fire alarm went off. I was not called by ADT. My son in California was called. I called an ADT number and got a woman who was so sleepy she was useless. I have a constant beep on my fire alarm. I can’t reach anyone to find out how to stop the beeping.

This is just one of many complaints. I am completely dissatisfied with ADT.

I have just spent one hour and forty three minutes on the telephone with ADT more than 45 minutes of which was being on hold. Now ADT has the gall to charge me $149.00 for a new part and installation! My next step is the Better Business Bureau.

For some reason I got a voice message from adt requesting payment through voice mail at 4 am but no record of a phone call. A while back in april I payed a bill they collected money but also no record of the payment is shown.

You guys need to get it together and stop being sneaky. No calls or messages at 4 am!!

My story about ADT do not get this company they will lie to you to get your business, the young man came here and said we didn’t have to go under a contract this is the reason why we got rid of the other company because they put us on a contract and we didn’t know anything about it so be aware the young guy said we didn’t have to use our card but one time he lied about alit of things which now we are stuck but

I arrived home at 5 pm and attempted to disarm my home alarm. After several failed attempts to disarm, I called ADT and waited 15 minutes to get help only to be transferred to another dept and placed on hold for 30 minutes.

While waiting I repeatedly attempted to disarm my home's alarm only for it to fail and go back into alarm. After 40 minutes a woman asked how can she assist me. When I began to tell her the phone disconnected and I did not receive a callback.

I m still waiting outside of my home to get in. There appeared to be an issue with the alarm restoring itself. I call back and I am put on hold for another 30 minutes waiting to get into my home not to mention it was very hot and humid.

I am writing this complaint due to extremely poor attitude and customer service of from an ADT Supervisor. I reside in PG County Maryland and now care for my mother, a 76-year-old senior. Years ago, an ADT system was purchased.

Later the services were cancelled and the system still remains in the house. The system has begun to beep continuously throughout the day. I contacted customer service to request removal of the device and asked why the device was not removed or detached/deactivated from the house upon cancellation.

The response given was “You brought the device and you may do with it as you please. If you want it removed you have to do it yourself. ” I was also, told that I cannot speak to anyone else, at all.

On Wednesday I received an updated modem from Spectrum, my cable company. My ADT security cameras will not connect. The ADT system is in my laundry room. The installation was put there. The cable system is in the living room.

Spectrum states it is ADT problem. ADT states it is Spectrum problem because I need an ethernet port to plug ADT Iinto. Spectrum states they haven't had an ethernet port on their moderms for 11 years. Neither companies have offered to send someone out figure out why the camera aren't working.

I've been with ADT since 2001. I am not a tech person. I have been a loyal customer who has always paid her bill on time. Who would of appreciated to have someone come over to figure out what the problem is.

If there were ZERO stars ADT deserve it. Horrible customer service, and Horrible service all around. Techs dont work after 5pm! WTF. For the price customers pay there should be 24/7 service. I had to wait for a month to get a service tech to my house.

Then they wanted me to wait the entire day on a Saturday. Thats freaking crazy!!

I bought a home from Redfin which came with ADT preinstalled . I had already paid a lot for the home and had big EMIs coming up . I didnt want to pay anything extra . I made several calls to ADT customer service . One of the agents helped to schedule and appointment and he confirmed that its a free subsciption for 3 years . but later everything changed .Now I have to pay $50 a month for something i didnt want to . .

no one even gave an information about reducing or cancelling the subscription.

I've had a great experience with ADT until I moved to Milton FL. This systems has been having issues since installing. The service techs came out or I called 10 times, now the 6 month money back guarantee has expired.

I received the loading symbol and it takes 5 minutes to access Command if at all. No matter if I'm home or away from home, I can't always access the system. Although, My tv stream is doing fine, along with 10 other wifi enabled products.

I may never use ADT again after this experience. I was told to get 2 or more wifi routers, get all these extenders and the system operation is never at 100%. I don't expect much to happen with this review.

Nothing much has happened since install.

My complaint pertains to the quality of customer service ADT/ADT Blue provides to customers. I had ADT Monitoring at a previous apartment, 1805 Mandalay Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. When I moved to another apartment in the same complex a year later, 2104 Mandalay Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253.

I was not allowed to transfer my active monitoring service from my previous apartment address. I was informed I had to register my monitoring service with ADT Blue. I did not understand why I could not use the same service from my previous apartment. ADT Blue was horrible.

This system did not provide the same monitoring service as ADT Monitoring. I experienced a lot of false alarms with this bogus system. In April 2022, I closed and moved into a new home. I called ADT/ADT Blue to cancel my service…

They have the worst customer service. I called three times they placed me on hold for over 50 minutes. I’m not sure if there calls are monitored for quality and training. Another time I was placed on hold and the person didn’t wait for permission.

A technician came out to my house and after install the motion didn’t work. Another one came back on 3 different occasions to set up cameras and they have the worst service I have ever experienced….

I am unable to utilize my alarm system. I have contacted ADT, and they ran a test and said they do not know why the system is picking up the signal. The representative said, to start by replacing the battery to rule out if that's the issue.

If I do that and the system still is working, call back. My remark was are you kidding? it's after midnight and my alarm system that I pay service for monthly is not working and it;s my problem. The Representative said, oh we do not replace batteries.

My question to her was: are you saying this battery has never been replaced in over 11 years? because I have no clue where to even look for the battery panel or what type of battery to use. I asked to speak with a manager because I was appalled.

I recently replaced the windows in my home and I needed to get 5 new wireless sensors. ADT charges $50 per sensor. I called ADT and asked if they can install sensors that I bought on my own and not from ADT.

The representative told me that they can do that, so I went ahead and purchased the sensors. When the tech arrived he told me that he could not use my sensors even though they are compatible with ADT and my system.

I called again in front of the tech and again they tell me that there shouldn’t be a problem as long as they are compatible which they are. The tech then explains the “policy” to the representative and all of the sudden all info is changed and she tells me that I can’t use sensors not purchased from ADT.

I called today to disconnect my service in Atlanta. I am moving to Alabama and in fact have a home there that has ADT service. I need it stopped on 4/30 as I will be gone and the buyers will be moving in May 2.

I was on hold for 1 hour and 7 minutes. I was transferred 4 times and each time our connection got worse. The final transfer was impossible because of the customer service person and because of the poor connection. I was told I needed to give them 30 days notice which is absurd.

They do not take 30 days to start service. I do not need to pay for a month of service when I no longer live at the address. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and for the last 3 years had had 2 homes with ADT service.

I would give it zero if that was an option. They have the ABSOLUTE worst customer service. Wait times (any time of the day) are usually about 15 minutes or more. They drop calls. They keep patching to other department. NOTHING EVER GET ATTENTION!!!!!!

They did not forewarn me that I would be required to sign an agreement to use their service for five years. When I realized that, I refused to sign the contract and immediately called to cancel. The person tried to tell me I was obligated to sign it, and I refused.

Then she said I was obligated for three years; I refused that also. Then she said that someone would call me back in 48 hours to confirm the cancellation- which would have taken me past ADT’s 72 hour cancellation policy.

SoI mailed a written cancellation per overnight certified mail to assure that the cancellation got there on time. 91 from my credit card the following month, and would have done so again this month except that I cancelled that credit card!!!

I have been dealing with ADT customer service for three weeks and have not had one person resolve the problem with our alarm system. I have spoken with at least ten people at the company with absolutely no one having the ability to rectify the situation.

A technician was at our home this past week and he too did not have any idea of what to do with the system. The entire time he was here he was on the phone with someone at ADT who was attempting to instruct him as to what to do.

He did nothing more than to enter different codes, which customer service had me perform numerous times prior to the tech's visit. If I could give ADT zero stars I would. They have deceitful contracts. They don’t quote you correctly on pricing. When I called ADT they stated that the equipment missing in the work order is written in the notes, and that the equipment charges were not included in the original docu sign.

Micheal from ADT was condescending and rude over the phone and immediately blamed the technician before I explained my issues. He wouldn’t give me a reference number for our call, or pass me through to a supervisor. This is seriously the worst customer service ever!

I have been without my alarm system not working since Thursday 2/17 today is Tuesday 2/22 and my system is still not working. A storm happened on Thursday 2/17 whi h caused a power outage for 2 sec the alarm system started saying check system battery low, I called adt right away and was told it would reboot within 24 hrs never did I called back again we was told to try to troubleshoot we did system still not work.

The times to send a tech out wasn't convenient for me because I work as well. I called on 2/21 to cancel my service due to the system not working, and on 2/20 I almost killed my son because I didn't know he entered my home due to the alarm not going off when the door opened.

Worst system l have ever seen and the worst customer service ever. call prior to buying and see 1(800)716-3640, tell them you have a problem. See what ADT does for you. ADT is not a security company. They stamp their name on a metal plate and put it in your yard. The product they let a local company come out and install for them and service for you. Good luck with that.

Trying to be nice as possible but this is what l am posting every place l can post a review. l could write a novel on how bad this has been since they installed this security system in my new house.

l am better off with a Rottweiler dog guarding the house. The worst part is customer service. going to minus the person who installed the system who doesn't even work for ADT. His contracted out by another company. The funny bad service.

My wife and I moved into our new home last February 2021. Our builder provided a credit for using ADT. This was the reason I agreed to sign up. I have NEVER used a security system before and thought we would give it a try.. Our installer came and was very efficient with the set up. What he was NOT very thorough with was the conditions of the sale. He was a young technician who really just wanted to get the system set up and leave. Before he started the work, I asked him for length of terms. He told me that there was a 1 year service period and said that ADT would be billing me. This I agreed too.

The technician came to my house to hook up service, he didn't have right equipment, so he left and stated he would be back on Monday. Technician cleared the ticket, so it showed he finished the job, No one ever came back to complete job.

I then called ADT to explain what happened, and they didn't believe me at first, so I ended up talking to about four people, and by then I wanted to cancel, so I asked if I could cancel out of contract without having to pay cancellation fee. They said no I had to $1021.

So I told them okay I was willing to pay the fee to get out of the contract, and then told me the price would be $1075, and that I would get bill in 30 days. I logged into ADT app and they have cancellation fee as $1551.

They cant seem to get the system to work- Support ask several times to repeat my Name address , account number and then called me a woman!!!

I cant get away from these clowns fast enough- they don't listen and go through a script that makes them robotic.

I just have to turn off the notifications since the system keeps notifying my of an alarm that continually tells me it has been triggered several days ago- But could any of the representatives help-NO! They just keep interrupting and wasting my time

I will not pay another bill until the problem is solved- It seems to be the only thing these guys listen to
