I am complaining on behalf of my brother and his family who were travelling to Edmonton ;at the check in kiosk , one of your staff,South Asian origin , short in height , (refused to tell her name) was rude and unwilling to help them with the processing their tickets.But we watched her help gladly people of same origin.The chech in aile was around 2-11 2-12 .time was around 05:50 am.

I had a flight booked for 1305 which was repeatedly delayed and did not fly until 16:30 I had meetings booked which I ended up missing and I spoke to agent and was told I was gaurenteed to make it to kelowna for my last meeting. When we finally boarded I found out my seat was moved to the back of the plane from near the front which meant that the time to get off plane guaranteed I would not make my last meeting.

If I known they were combining flights and I was not going to make my final evening meeting I would have cancelled flight as it turns out I spent day at airport waiting for flight only to fly to kelowna to miss meetings and fly back home the next day.

AC announced that because the flight was ful they may not be able to accommodate carry on and would anyone who would be willing to check their bags please come to the desk. Wanting to be a good traveller I went to the desk and waited for 10 minutes while they searched for a bag label.

Eventually they could not find one and simply said they couldn’t find one and asked for the next customer. No apology no nothing. How can this be? Canada’s National subsidised airline can’t find a baggage tag? When I asked the attendant she was a willing to apologise until I pressed her. This is disgraceful service!

On May 1st ,2022, my wife and I were booked on the flight from Toronto to Amsterdam in business class. AC106. The flight leaving Toronto was delayed by 2 1/2 hours because of catering problems. After departure,we were served our supper at 1:30 AM. This is unreasonable.

Who can eat a meal at 01:30 in the morning? And then the breakfast service was extremely poor for business class level. The fruit was ice cold, almost frozen. And I don’t know how to describe what you would call a croissant. It was inedible !

However, the worst part of the trip was yet to come. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, even though I paid business class for priority luggage handling, our luggage was not unloaded from the plane for three hours. Yes , you read that correctly ,three hours!

I purchased bulk head seating from Vancouver to Sydney Australia due to medical issues that I had proof of and carraid the doctors certificate on the plane with me on Friday May 13 flight number AC33 for myself and husband Stephen O'Callaghan. When we were seated on the plane we were seated in bulk head "the captain package" however, my seat would not recline and i have a neck injury my poor husband 'sTV did work, however it kept falling down so

he could not use it so the whole trip I have to sit upright and my husband had to stair at a wall. I do not think this is fair as we paid etra money in good faith and we travel to vancouver every year and have travelled with air canada before and never had a problem.

Our flight on AC 8478 from Toronto to Sydney was cancelled on May 27 until May 28. Customer service at the TO airport provided no support. Talked to other people whose flight was cancelled for the same reason who were given hotel and meal vouchers.

WE ARE WRITING TO REQUEST COMPENSATION FOR HOTEL ( $246.00 ) and also meal vouchers of $40. Please look into this and respond .

I tied to change my return flight online. Online site wouldn’t let me make the change. I tried calling, the online service offered a call back in 20-30 minutes. Waited 4 hours, no call back. Called and stayed on line for 1-1/2 hours and then got cut off.

Called again and got cut off after 1 hour. After not being able to contact Air Canada Ended up being forced to buy another ticket on line. Air Canada customer respect is sub abyssmal. I know this letter is simply my way of venting because no one at Air Canada Cares enough to even read it.

I had booked round trip flights from Vancouver to Kamloops. e. from Kamloops to Vancouver on May 28. The agent said they have received my request and I'll be good to board on my return flight but i never received a confirmation email.

On May 26, I tried calling the helpline number on their website and opted for call back option but never received any calls. On May 27 I called them again and the lady tried to help me out. She said my flight is cancelled as I was no show in the beginning of this trip.

I informed her that I called Air Canada to let them know that I'll be taking my return flight. There was no help from her side and she wanted me to book same flight again and pay for it again.

Suspending my flight today (May 27th) from Toronto to Timmins at 1600h due to bad weather conditions, I did not receive any notifications from AC concerning the issue instead checked in automatically for the next flight which is tomorrow. No accommodation provided instead gave me 2 $10 food voucher. I think that’s unprofessional.

Your system must inform the passengers right away. It’s a waste of time and effort. Now, I have to stay in the airport until the following day at 0730h for the next flight. AC only afford 2 $10 food voucher. Good thing to know. Very disappointed and frustrated.

That’s why, I prefer Westjet rather than AC.

To whom this may concern, My husband & I purchased 2 round-trip tickets to SGN(please see below)and before we paid, we carefully checked online that said Air Canada will be accommodation for a hotel for flights over 6 hours, therefore we went ahead and purchased the tickets. I just spoke with your customer service name James @ the # 888-247-2262, he said that Air Canada does not accommodate hotel for layover since we booked the ticket through Cheapoair.

There is nothing on their website warns me about no accommodation provided since the flight is 13 hours in Vancouver & 22 hours in Hong Kong(I have travelled in the past & was accommodated with hotels when layover was more than 8 hours). I need help!

Ac Flight 997 from Mexico City to Vancouver on May 19: the inflight staff were so rude as well as the boarding agent for flight AC 240. I’m not discriminating anyone based on race but the rude staff were all Asian Chinese .

I had the same negative experience last Feb 14 , this time in Toronto with Air Canada airport check in staff and airport staff (also botj Chinese looking agents) who were supposedly assisting Air Canada clients but instead making it hard for us. You need to train your staff with what good customer service look like if you can’t expect them to provide us with a great service.

The airline staff should know that if not for us travellers they don’t have a job right now. If I can only rate less than 1 star with the way AC staff provide service I will do so.

Was suppose to have a direct flight from Halifax NS to Calgary Alberta but it didn’t happen instead it was from Halifax to Ottawa, Ottawa to Calgary all business class. We arrived in Calgary 4 hours later than we were suppose to. Very disappointing.

I booked travel for 4 to Japan on Air Canada for June. I had called previously to find out what to do if this happened and was instructed to call back and get travel vouchers. Today I tried to do that but was told that I could not get a refund and that travel vouchers would take ten weeks to get.

When I asked to talk to a supervisor I was told no, she did this all day long and that there was no supervisor to talk to. That those were the options, to get credit or wait for a voucher.

I am now on hold waiting for a different customer service representative hopefully. I have been holding for 34 minutes so far. If you're thinking of flying Air Canada, DON'T. Just DON'T.

In early April I was deployed to Baker Lake, Nunavut. I flew with Canada North from Edmonton to Yellowknife then to Rankin Inlet. From Rankin Inlet I flew on Calm Air to Baker Lake where I worked as an RCMP officer.

On April 28th I was on my way home to Alberta, issues arose with some airplane maintenance so I was delayed. Later that evening I flew from Baker Lake to Rankin Inlet then to Winnipeg. In my carryon baggage I carry survival gear as it is required up there, including a survival lighter which is valued around $50 or more.

After these 5 flights there were no issues. On April 28th for the AC8539 flight from Winnipeg to Vancouver at 6:10am I went through baggage security, I advised the lone security lady I had uniforms and police equipment in my baggage.

I recently called Air Canada Customer Care to request for a seat change which was erroring online. After waiting over 30 minutes, the lady that assisted me, name Danet was extremely rude. She clearly was not cut out for customer service.

I had with me the booking reference which I repeated several times to her. She then requested for the ticket number. I had then asked for the reason she required this as I had already given here the booking reference and I have not been requested for this before.

I have been waiting since November for my credit to convert to a voucher so that I can book my flight. The voucher is lost in process, no one is calling me back, flights are booked up. I have lost my spot in premium economy, all costs have gone up.

I have escalated 3 times since November and emailed senior management at AC and no call back NOTHING. My friends have all booked their flights, I have a villa booked in Italy but they say they can't book my flight as they don't know where my voucher is.

I had a flight from Hyderabad, India to Toronto, connecting via Doha. This series of flights I have booked from air Canada website. The flight from Hyderabad to Doha has cancelled without any prior notice to me. I did not receive any kind email communication from Air Canada.

Re: AC967. Flight attendant Heidi. I made a mistake of quickly changing my 2 year old’s diaper (it was completely odourless), KNOWING they were just about to collect garbage, since they just announced it. I did it discretely while she was standing up in front of her seat.

I was unaware there was a change table in the bathroom that would be large enough for her size. She’s VERY big for her age. She also has terrible meltdowns in small spaces and tries to wriggle her way off change tables (which is terrifying for me), so that really would not have been a viable solution.

So if I changed her in the tiny bathroom, I would have had to change her standing up, Right beside the dirty toilet, which she would have then probably started touching. Not exactly ideal in Covid times. So to me, the only…

My wife and I recently flew from YYZ to SJO 3 March 2022, Returned SJO to YYZ on 30 March 2022. The flight down was great. The return flight was given over to Avianca, although I paid Air Canada. The flight was very disappointing.

The Aircraft was old and shabby. the Business Class seats were wide, but the upholstery was worn. The video console did not work. The folding tray could not be operated, it took the attendant and me several minutes to extract it.

The washroom was clean but the plastic sink was stained. The food was abysmal, even by airline standards A cardboard box with a soggy sandwich, a small bag of chips, an old muffin in a bag. Bottle of water. Cofee in a styrofoam mug, no milk or cream.

On march 27, 2022, my wife, Flor de maria calderon calle flew from Lima to Houston , Texas. She was denied flight access because her birthdate was not on her covid 19 antigen report paper. The next 24 hourss turned out to be hell on earth for my wife and myself her husband in Canada.

My wife had to scramble to find a way to get the test results updated to include a birthdate. She missed her flight of course. United airlines help my wife a lot. Air Canada can go to hell as far as I am concerned.

I travelled on march 7 th Delhi to montreal with my family including 3 kids. It was a straight 18hr duration flight and was horrible. we got the seat at the back and we got the food which was left over.

When we ask for non veg food the attendent give veg and told this is what they have. This is what happened all the meal time . we were travelled with small kids and they were starving. More than the food screen was not working and we did not get headphones.

The kids were upset and all trip was horrible. we also paid the same amount as the front seaters paid but we were treated like refugees. I will never recommend Air Canada to anyone who is travelling with kids. It will be a disaster

We flew premium economy from Sydney to Vancouver and back. The food supplied was almost inedible particularly on the return leg. The staff were somewhat off hand and no additional drinks or tea or coffee asked or offered. We were offered coffee or tea with breakfast than told they were no longer serving.

This contrasts strongly with other service focused airlines such as Air NZ and Qantas or Emirates. The additional cost for Premium Economy on Air Canada is simply not value - other than better seating the food is basic poor economy standard you would expected 20 years ago.

I am submitting this complaint to Air Canada; as Aeroplan is owned by Air Canada and there does not appear to be any avenue by which to file a complaint with Aeroplan other than telephoning with an unreasonable wait time usually in excess of 90 minutes..

I originally purchased the following rewards flights 2LEA8B (TAP Boston- Lisbon-Rome) and 3K7OOY (AC Moncton-Montreal-Boston) and was quite content with the arrangement until TAP substituted another flight for the Lisbon-Rome segment necessitating a layover in excess of 4 hours. Hello, My name is Tatiana Zmeeva an we bought a vacation package to Puerto Vallarta. Our fligh should be at 8:15 in the morning today ( February 20th) but I checked the status of our flight (AC 1738) and the fl was cancelled.

To Air Canada, you should reconsider let whoever runs the Air Canada Vacation biz do something else. It is ruining the brand of Air Canada.

Good luck to whoever wants a vacation from air Canada vacation. Online self service website has limited access and nothing you can manage your booking about but just paying more for upgrade seats function. It is impossible to even try to get hold of someone on the phone and no call back option, which is the only one you could hope for. And it’s 5 biz days past no one reply to my Contact Form submitted. It seems like only accounting is working taking your money and send you invoice then that’s it. No management or staff with poor operation. It’s only a week away from our vacation and we stuck here. Whoever sees this comment should reconsider booking…
