I grudgingly gave 1\5 Air Canada refused to allow me to board as they had "misplaced" my luggage. After hours of wrangling I was booked on the same flight but in 24 hours. The next day at the airport I was told the next flight was full.

They attempted to put me on the next flight another 24 hours away. After pleading for help and breaking down in the airport I managed to get someone on the phone who got me an alternative route which involved 2 more airports and another 9 hour delay.

I am clearly disabled and have a pacemaker. I found NO-ONE at Toronto Pearson who was vaguely interested. I became so stressed and ill and so worried about the return flight that I returned early and accrued about another £1000 in costs.

I have written to AC. No apology , no explanation, no response. In 40…

On 24 Sept my husband and his mother were flying from OKC to DEN. When checking in with United (there was no Air Canada desk) they were told that Air Canada made modifications to the reservation which made United unable to print the tickets. They waited 1.5hrs at the desk attempting to get the situation resolved.

Separately I called Air Canada to help resolve the issue - the phone wait time was 1hr (absolutely unacceptable) - when I was called back and I requested the issue be investigated - after 20minutes on hold (also unacceptable) I as told they were not sure why it happened. I then requested to file a complaint and I was promptly hung up on.

Had United not taken the reservation and rebooked it under the United system, these two passengers would have been stranded in OKC due to no…

My daughter and I were on flight 140 to Toronto on September 20. I sat in seat 36B, and my daughter sat in 36A. The Air Canada flight attendants had to ask the man sitting next to us in seat 36C to wear his mask correctly four times. He kept putting the mask under his nose and removed it when the attendant stood next to him. He didn’t like being told what to do and thought the attendant was rude.

My 23 daughter and I have been flying every two weeks from Calgary to Toronto to have a chemotherapy treatment at the Princess Margaret hospital that hopefully will extend her life. This chemotherapy is a leading-edge treatment and is not available in our hometown of Calgary. We have been doing this since January 3, 2021.

There is no customer service. I have been trying to contact someone for a few weeks. There is no human contact. I flew FIRST CLASS from Toronto to Cancun on August 30, 2021. I left an item (an expensive item) in the private consol in my personal space.

This is something no one else would see. When I tried to contact the ground crew as soon as I was off the flight to retrieve my item, no one seemed to be able to help. I filed a missing item report.

No one can seem to find this item.

However, this raises two very serious concerns: 1 - the plane was not properly cleaned as is claimed by Air Canada, or 2 - one of the staff took my personal item and did not tell anyone. The handling of the 11 year old boy returning to Canada from Mexico City unsupervised when the mother paid the $200 fee for this service is appalling. The follow-up response by Air Canada is equally appalling. The very poor communication within your system is a real failure and disrespectful of the clients who support this airline.

there are NO CUSTOMS to worry about. I tried to get a refund and waited on the phone for three hours and no one answered. I was given a voucher but I want a refund. My company will not re-inburse me unless I have a letter saying you refuse to refund me.

I had a flight scheduled Penticton Vancouver Las Vegas September 15th at 7:00 at night the flight got canceled due to weather. I mean the Okanagan I read weather reports the weather was just fine. Yes yesterday was blue skies up above bird singing there was no weather problem.

On September 4th, 2021 I flew with my wife and son from Vancouver to Toronto on AC118 (booking 3PT78M). On route to Toronto the flight attendants spoke to a male passenger seated directly in front of me on several occasions rewarding his need to ware a face mask.

My attention was drawn to this fact by a loud altercation between a male flight attendant and the subject. Following this interaction the subject continued to not ware his mask. I later spoke with flight attendants and advised that the subject had not altered his behaviour and was told that they were aware of this from other customers.

I travelled to the US last week. My booking reference was 2ZSSSP. I had done thorough review of entry requirements both to enter the US and while returning to Canada due to Covid-19 restrictions. With my onward journey I had done my Covid-19 testing that came negative as per US border rules.

Likewise, based on the information I was ready with having done both shots of vaccine and ArriveCan approval and even got a web check-in boarding pass. To my surprise at the gate in SFO, they suddenly demanded to get a negative report.

Since there was no time to do this, I ended up missing my scheduled flight and had to do a very expensive test at the airport. I had planned this properly as I had my study related activities planned for the afternoon.

I don’t believe 100words will do. Luggage missing since flight Tuesday morning from Newfoundland to Halifax. my seven hours today. In that luggage is medication I need. I’m visiting from Ontario and now my trip will be extended because of air Canada’s greed to have a full flight but let 20 plus people go home without luggage.

It really is about the dollar. No manager available anywhere and an office in Moncton with no phone and an employee who only comes in at four. I had to go buy underwear and pants to wear. I have travelled to Afghanistan with less hassle then this.

I travelled August 30 on AC142 on a priority ticket from Calgary to Toronto. I paid for a business class ticket so that I could receive my luggage quickly and reduce time spent in the airport to hopefully reduce exposure to possible Covid.

It took two hours to receive my baggage. I waited with passengers from apparently several other aircraft in a very unsafe environment milling around and crowded together. There were no announcements made to inform us of why there was a delay.

The attendant at the information booth could not reach anyone by phone to inquire. There was luggage piled everywhere and the same unclaimed luggage continued to spin on the carousel for the entire two hours. My return flight to Canada was canceled at the beginning of the pandemic, I was told by air Canadá refund services that a reimbursement would be impossible but I would have a credit to use in the next 24 months. I sent countless emails and no credit was issued. Worsted customer service for a company that got helped by the government.

RE: Booking reference 3B59PE. About the only good thing about the flights was the flight attendants. The main issues were: -The smallest plane possible, which was packed, with absolutely no overhead space for carry-on baggage. I could not stand-up in the aisle.

I sat with my carryon under my seat and my feet resting on my bag. Of course an offer to check it was offered-but why would I want that. -The plane was so small, that upon landing in Vancouver, the regular ramp was too big and a portable ramp had to be brought out.

YVR wasn't even expecting this. -For the return flight, the A/C did not appear to work

I arrived today on AC162 at 1:03pm and it is mow 1:45pm and we are still waiting for our bags. Why is it taking another hour to get checked bags. Perhaps this is why so many carry so much on to planes.

I spent over an hour waiting for on hold with no options for doing what was necessary online. I needed to use a travel voucher and there was no online options available for applying that voucher to an upcoming flight.

I have nothing but good things to say about Shilian, who took my call. Shilian, and her coworkers deserves a big pat on the back (and a raise) for taking the brunt of frustration of anxious and angry passengers, completely due to poor planning by Air Canada management.

My beef is with the leadership that makes for an extremely poor customer experience.

Flying Business Class on AC116 Aug 26/21. Problem with checkin in Vancouver that took 15 minutes to sort out. 20 min wait to get into Maple Leaf Lounge. Have been waiting on tarmac for 1 hr so far in Toronto because gate is occupied.

Similar Maple Leaf lounge lines in for Toronto Aug 21 and had to wait in Van for misplaced luggage to come on next flight. Unhappy with AC!

3rd flight in recent weeks. Every flight was either modified or late. Last week I missed my meeting in Vancouver. This week I missed my connection in Vancouver coming from Seattle to Edm. Worst past was the apathetic attitude of “Dee” at ticketing.

S. (Fort Lauderdale, Florida). You were clearly and obviously understaffed. I got to the airport 3 hours early for an 8:30 flight and spent all those 3 hours standing in line to go through Customs, which didn’t even open until 7:00, with nowhere to sit for all that time.

Then, I requested a wheelchair to take me to the gate because my ankles became swollen and were throbbing and painful from all that standing, but the Air Canada representatives I spoke to (I waited about 30 minutes to even spot AC representative) just kept telling me I would have had to order one when I checked in and none were available.

I spoke to 3 different airport people who told me I would have to speak to an AC rep.

However, there was nowhere on the online form for checking in to request a wheelchair.

I am writing to say how unimpressed I was with Air Canada on my recent flight to Grande Prairie on August 8 returning on August 22. m. m. m. m. on the 24th as the flight was late arriving in Charlottetown.

My daughter also lost a days pay because she had to take the day of work to drive me to the airport which is120 km from the airport then in turn I lost a days pay as well because I was to exhausted from all the stress I endured from this recent trip as one flight after another was late in Calgary we literally had to run from one gate to another to make our connections and on another flight there we no agents available to take our bookings for the next flight.

I am very disappointed with air Canada. I came into Toronto from Barbados on the 19th of August 2021 and onto now I haven't received my luggage that have all my personal belongings. I have reported it to baggage department and was told I would receive it yesterday, it never came onto now.

No one is sending me a message or anything. I am quarantining and cannot leave to come to the airport. I would like to know what happened to my luggage. This is putting me under tremendous stress and expense. I also have stuff in it to spoil.

I flew to Dublin on AC 800 on August 18, 2021. I used my eupgrade points to secure two business class seats. I bordez thé plane and we were all settled in business class when a steward informed me that a pilot required my seat and I was forced to move to premium economy.

I wld like my eupgrade points reimbursed immediately and a $500 voucher for the pain and suffering that I incurred. Sad part of the story is that the person who took my seat was not a pilot. I was lied too.

On Saturday Aug 14 I was booked on flights leaving Ottawa at 10:00am arriving in Saskatoon at 3:34 pm with a connection in Toronto. AC refused to let me board because my covid test was a few minites expired, this being due to my originating flight being delayed. I had to get retested, then reschedule a flight for the next day. I could not confirm the flight becauae there was no one at the check in for AC.

I was told it was in the system bur the next morning after waiting in line at check in for over an hour, rhey could not find my res. I missed the second flight by the time it was resolved.

I finally just cancelled the trip and returned home. Total incompetence.

I had flown Air Canada from Mexico (Mexico city) to Vancouver (Canada) on 17-Aug-2021. After reaching Vancouver, I could not find my baggage (both bags0. I had filed the World tracer baggage tracing file at the Vancouver airport itself. It has been 4 days now, and still my baggage is not traceable.

I am very unsatisfied with Air Canada. I have flown with them multiple times and every time I have had a problem. I travelled to Germany last year to visit my boyfriend and they lost both of my bags on my flight home to Canada.

It was the first time that happened so I just though it was a mix up and it wasn't a big deal. Air Canada drove them out to my house the next morning.

However, the next time I flew back from Germany they lost them again along with multiple other people. I was very upset with the airline that they kept doing this. Not only that, my boyfriend was flying here from Germany and he now has to stay in a hotel in Toronto because Air Canada totally messed up his entire trip.

First they were delayed by an hour, next they couldn't locate both of his bags and he asked around…

Flight booked was Yyc- yeg-yyc-iah on July 15, 2021 1) YYC-YEG - Mechanical failure of plane, returned to gate, too late to make connection so rerouted YYC-YYZ direct With short connection time for next flight. Arrived YYZ - and got to US immigration where we were denied access to the US because luggage was “pending” Returned to luggage desk where it was discovered our luggage was still in YYC.

By the time a letter of authorization for US customs could be produced US customs and immigration had closed doors and left for the night. Air Canada apologized. 35, and then on flight 426 from Toronto to Montreal, but never made the connection since departure was approx 2 hours late and had to stop in Vancouver for refueling. We were then left on the plane for over 2 hours without food or drink and were told that we would be deplaning and someone would help us reschedule a flight.

Around 4hr , we were advised there would be another plane departing at 6 for Toronto. upon check in we encountered a very rude condescending check in person. He was learning because a lady was there trying to help him. We spend 45 minutes at his check in wicket. He told my daughter her covid test was no good because the date was the 13 when actually it was the 12. But very rude.

Why does Air Canada sell flights with connections impossible to make?? My August 14,2021, from Zurich to Toronto had an hour at the London (Heathrow) to make my flight connection. One hour at Heathrow is IMPOSSIBLE for making the connection. If it had not been for 5 airport staff helping me to cut lines, etc, I would never had make it.

Why does Air Canada allow so many flights when Customs and Immigration in Toronto cannot handle the number of passengers? Sitting on the tarmac for four hours before being allowed to deplane is not acceptable. And try to find your luggage when the carousel that originally received your luggage in the meantime received luggage from a number of other flights. No information and now help were available.

AC2013 out of Hollywood Lauderdale Stood in lineups from 930 am until 930 pm NO INFORMATION GIVEN AS TO WHY then stood in line at hotel because flight canceled THEN next day from 11 am until 5 pm stood in MORE LINEUPS to redo our tickets etc from cancelled flight to have flight postponed severs times again. My husband is an 82 yr old diabetic and I am 68 with bad back problems.

My husband and I were to fly from yqy to yyc on Aug 8th at 5:oopm,before lunch my husband Walter Locke received an email the flight had been cancelled. The reason for cancellation was crew constraints. I tried to book a flight for Monday Aug 9 to leave yqy and was told there weren't any flights leaving that day.

My flight was booked for 5pm on Aug 10, both my husband and were returning to work on Tuesday morning, needless to say we each lost a day of work. The agent in Sydney told us we had compensation coming to phone Air Canada.

Unacceptable 2 hour delay leaving Ottawa for UK Unacceptable 3 hour delay leaving Toronto to UK Lost bags on Arrival into UK. Missed railway connection, had to pay for new ticket. I recently booked a domestic flight from Montreal to Vancouver (from my residence in Montreal). 50 ... 00 as the initial sum was in US dollars. This is a disgusting cash grab by Air Canada - you should be ashamed of yourselves, especially during this very difficult time.

Shame on you Air Canada - ripping off seniors (I'm 76 years of age) who will be the ones who are most likely to be duped by this cheap trick.

My boyfriend had a booked flight from Toronto to North Bay this morning August 16th 2021 arrival time in North Bay was 930am. The flight was then delayed till 12:45pm. So he had to sit around in the airport till then just to find out that it is delayed again til 1:15pm.

When he asked for information he was advised that there is a shortage of workers so there's not enough personnel to get the planes ready. Told that they do not want to hire more workers, and had a lot of workers retire.

This is totally unacceptable especially with everything opening up and flights being resumed. He has been away for work for 2 weeks and has to sit in an airport all day instead of spending time with his family because you don't want to hire.

I am very disappointed with this service. Will this be an issue…

I was on a flight AC8603 from Toronto to Sudbury Ontario July 29th It was raining that day our luggage sat on the tarmac for more than 30 minutes delay from takeoff in the pouring rain on a baggage cart that was not covered !! Needless to say when we arrived in Sudbury all of our clothes were SOAKING wet !! How it is possible for this to happen ?????

I bought an AC flight flex instead of standard economy ticket which costs about CA$75-80 more for free standard seat selection and 100% Aeroplan points when compared with the standard ticket. I chose a window seat. During check in at the counter on August 8, 2021 for the flight AC8533 to fly from Philadelphia to Toronto, I got a complimentary upgraded to a Business Class seat.

The flight was delayed for almost 5 hours, initially said through email due to security check, and then found out that it was due to delay from the reverse direction flight from Toronto. The flight AC8533 to Toronto was finally started boarding.

At the boarding gate, I was rudely downgraded back to economy seat, arbitrarily assigned an aisle seat. I was moved from my original selected seat 24A to 16C. This is in…
