I grudgingly gave 1\5 Air Canada refused to allow me to board as they had "misplaced" my luggage. After hours of wrangling I was booked on the same flight but in 24 hours. The next day at the airport I was told the next flight was full.
They attempted to put me on the next flight another 24 hours away. After pleading for help and breaking down in the airport I managed to get someone on the phone who got me an alternative route which involved 2 more airports and another 9 hour delay.
I am clearly disabled and have a pacemaker. I found NO-ONE at Toronto Pearson who was vaguely interested. I became so stressed and ill and so worried about the return flight that I returned early and accrued about another £1000 in costs.
I have written to AC. No apology , no explanation, no response. In 40…
