My 5 year old daughter was trapped in the washroom on flight 8616 Aug 14th Saskatoon to Toronto. The head flight attendant did not want me to wait for my daughter and told me to go back to my seat. I did.

When I noticed the lavatory light flickering on and off, I knew my daughter was trying to get out. So I was walking towards the washroom and the same flight attendant raised her voice at me and said your daughter will get out herself.

My wife then stepped in and to get my daughter out, ignoring the head flight attendant. When my daughter managed to get out she was scared and crying thinking she was going to be stuck alone in that washroom. The head flight attendant should of been more understanding and respectful to a parents waiting for their child.

I was scheduled to arrive in Toronto August 14th for work, Air Canada cancelled this flight and rebooked me for August 15 with two layovers. After holding for a representative as online not available for two solid hours I was told no flights sooner, when in fact my previous flight did indeed fly out that evening.

So Air Canada cancelled my second flight to rebook me on the 16th. So after THREE hours to reach a representative to be told that there’s nothing they could do. 4 flight time changes leading up to departure, Toronto to Orlando then a 6 hour delay on the departure date and told less than 2 hours before flight. Could not check in for 2 of the 6 hour wait. Return flight , 3 hour delay. Sat on runway for one hour before take off then sat in Toronto for 2 hours because “ customs too full , only 50 people at a time” but we travelled 4 hours in a confined space. No Logic All vaccinated All tested

How can this issue of travel not have been better organized by Air Canada and by Pearson Airport? Almost 2 years to organize.

As the traveller, we followed all guidelines and paid the additional expenses to maintain our safe journey .

I have been an Aeroplan member for decades. I must say that I am disappointed that your big make-over has not changed a thing about the way you treat your members. On two occasions in the past month, I have had to sit on hold for hours and wait for an agent to help me. That is bad enough, but the fact that you do not have a simple electronic means to let us know how many people are in line ahead of us, or how long the wait is expected to be -- all the while listening to that same horrible scratchy music that no one in her right mind would choose to listen to -- shows how little you respect your members.

Flight AC910 Toronto to Fort Lauderdale, Aug 5th This flight was first thing in the morning and kept getting delayed at the last minute. Many passengers were unable to get something to eat or go to the bathroom prior to boarding as the US border services does not open until after 6am; we were already boarded on the plane when it was delayed almost two hours. I missed an important meeting due to this delay.

Flight AC913 Fort Lauderdale to Toronto, Aug 10th This flight was again delayed several hours, with the times constantly changing, initially scheduled for 1pm, it was changed to 12:40pm, 2pm, and 2:30pm. I had a flight on 31st July to Dubai by AC 56. The lady at the boarding desk asked me to produce insurance and GDRFA permit. Both were not required for me because I am having golden residence visa from UAE government.

I stayed 35 days in Canada and returning. She refused to issue the boarding pass. I had to reschedule the flight on 5th August. I had to do Covid pcr again. These caused work loss and financial loss for me.

I was at the Air Canada baggage service counter on Aug 12 at 8 40 pm. The customer service representative name 'Ray' was so rude to answer my questions. I said i am not misbehaving and was very respectful but he started raising voice at me and ignored and walked away.

He started threaten me to call security and kick me out. I was there with one police officer and ask him to help. He took time to help along with airport security. But Ray need some training to learn customer service. Totally frustrated

It has taken over a year to receive my travel voucher for a cancelled flight in June of 2020 due to COVID. I was later informed in June of 2021 it would take 10 days to receive the voucher. It is now mid-August. I am beyond frustrated with the complete lack of customer service and intentional dodging this airline provides.

I'll never fly on this airline again. I'd rate them a 0 if I could.

Regarding Claim ID #650067 from Air Canada, who cancelled my flights three times in August 2020 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Toronto, through Covid restrictions. These flights were cancelled by Air Canada, which were booked via Expedia. Each time I had to pay more for the tickets when rebooking.

Air canada informed me through an email that I can receive a credit voucher to be used by end of 2021. I rejected this as I was not going to travel during the Covid pandemic, being a senior and uncertain about future travel.

The Policy was changed by AC to offer passengers a refund due to Covid. 66. Since then I have been trying to reach someone at AC to determine the status of the refund. It’s now August 11 and have not received any communication about my claim.

On August 9th, I was travelling with my mother, on flight AC 7549 from Fredericton to Toronto. When we arrived at our seats, there was insufficient space to stow our carry-on in the overhead. We looked to the stewardess stationed at the rear of the plane for assistance.

She was rude and indifferent to our situation. As we took our seats, my mother (who is a senior) was having difficulty getting her carry-on beneath the seat and I suggested she asked the stewardess for assistance. My mother responded to me that based on our first encounter with the stewardess, she assumed she would be of little to no help.

The stewardess overheard her comment and was immediately confrontational, spoke in a loud voice, blocked other passengers from getting to their seats and made quite a scene on the plane…

I am now 7 flights in a row where we have either been bumped from the flight, lost luggage or have experienced massive delays. On this last outing to New Brunswick, they lost our luggage on the way there and on our return flight Ac425, we are currently waiting for “groomers” to be assigned to the flight.

They have NO idea when they will appear. Said it could be a half hour or a couple…. How do you not book a crew for a scheduled flight??? The 7 for 7 is not an exaggeration. Air Canada is THAT BAD!!!

It’s worth booking with Westjet and driving a few hours to Bathurst. At least you and your luggage are assured to make it.

Air Canada billed me twice for my travel that ended today. No one will pick up at customer service 1-88-247-2262. I called 1-888-974=0292, spoke to someone who said cannot connect me to someone. I asked to speak to his manager, he put me on hold and total silence.

TD wants me to speak to supplier first - what am I supposed to do.

Air Canada should remove the so called customer service telephone number and just charge customer as they are unable or unwilling to serve paying customers.

I was to fly out of Toronto to Columbus on August 7th and my flight was delayed 3 times and then cancelled. I was at the airport for 10 hours and appeared that no one was willing to help from Air Canada, just kept giving me the run around to go here and go there.

Finally at about 9pm that evening, after 9 hours already in the airport, I got to book a flight from Toronto to Cleveland for the following day August 8th. That flight was cancelled and I got another flight out on August 8th to Detroit.

I have never in my life experienced such incompetence with an Airline before and needless to say, the staff were not helpful and were rude. I got to Detroit to find out that my luggage was not there and still sitting in Toronto, after being told that it would definitely be on that flight.

I'd like to provide feedback regarding the worst flight experience I've had to date in my life. This is in regards to booking reference 28F7FY. Upon booking my flight from London to Montreal, the Air Canada app proposed flight AC857 from London to Toronto, followed by flight AC422 from Toronto to Montreal.

Flight AC857 arrived at the gate at 17:00 and due to the very long queue for immigration followed by the wait for baggage, which I finally reclaimed about 17:40, I was advised it was too late by staff at the flight connection area so I would have to re-book (AC422 was scheduled to depart 18:00).

I flew AC in July domestically and I wanted to be on a plane only with people who were double vaccinated. I was not given this option . As it was a long flight I had to eat and drink with possible carriers at my elbows.

Double vaccinated folks should not have to fly with unvaccinated people on domestic flights.

I had a flight leaving Yellowknife at 6am on a Sunday with a 9:30 connecting flight in Calgary to Toronto. On Friday night on 9pm I was notified my flight from Yellowknife had been rescheduled to 1pm. My connecting flight was not rescheduled and it was after business hours so I couldn't contact anyone.

The next morning my connecting flight was rescheduled to 5pm. Then three hours before my flight from Yellowknife I was notified my connecting flight had been cancelled. It was then rescheduled to 9:30 am even though I wouldn't make it to Calgary until 3:30 pm.

Had been up early to give myself lots of time, went to kiosk, had checked in the evening before, code wasn’t scanning with iPad , went to the “assistance line up”, the air canada employee was there lecturing and

telling people to then go to a kiosk, isn’t the assistance line for those needing “assistance”, your air canada employee was rude and impatient to myself and others. I get anxious going on flights to start with so this made me more anxious.

I am on ac171 on august 6 from Toronto to Edmonton. The flight was delayed 2 hours due to maintenance issues which we were notified early in the morning. I delayed my arrival to the airport due to the late departure .

When I did get checked in the flight continued to get delayed as the day went on. I was then informed that the initial plane was being replaced and we would depart at 4:10. Our initial departure was 2:20. As we are about to board they inform us that the inflight entertainment system is not working on the plane a d that there would be no movies or in flight entertainment.

My husband and I recently flew from Toronto to Vancouver and back. We booked the flights together. I was surprised to see that Air Canada assigned us seats NOT BESIDE EACH OTHER on both flights. We have often flown with Air Canada, but have never been assigned seats not together.

I don't think one should have to pay an extra $100 or so (to reserve seats) to have a husband and wife assigned seats beside each other. We are seniors and could use each other's support on the airplane. This makes me hesitant to book with Air Canada again.

She was hand over to my brother without her hand bag that contain all her medications, blood sugar machine and Cell phones and prescription eye glass. I request assistant and the person that assist her should make sure she left the aircraft with her belonging.

I booked my returned flight from Canada to Newark. 26 for my checked-in bag. This flight got canceled and I did not get a refund for my baggage fee. We booked the next flight which was not from Newark and was only available from NEW YORK LAGUARDIA.

0 for the checked bag. 00 noon. we reached the airport and traveled an extra distance compared to Newark airport. I have to pay additional money for the Taxi. 20 pm. Sitting at the airport for that long time during the pandemic was a horrible experience.

On the Wednesday morning of July 28th, I took an Air Canada flight from Atlanta to Chicago, and Chicago to Montreal. Yet, I had an absolutely horrific experience.

At the self check-in to get my boarding pass in Atlanta, I prompted to get an employee to come and approve a few details. She checked my 2 vaccination doses, my ArriveCan app and confirmed that I got a negative convid test.

Problems arrised at the Chicago's O'Hare airport, where they told me that my Antigen test was not valid to enter the airplane. My first thought was, am I stuck here? I just underwent hip surgery and required a wheelchair. We went to get baggage trolly but did not have a loonie. We used wheelchair for the time being to move bags and were gonna use chair for myself once bag checked.

My son have called Expedia and stayed on the phone with an unhelpful clueless agent for over 90 minutes the he was told that a manger will contact him within 4 hours, no it is 48 hours later and neither a manager nor an agent contacted me or my son.

Air canada 080121 I arrived at check in at 6:15 for 8:15 flight. I had already pre checked in ! Waited in line to see agent for approx 1 1/2 hours to “check my bag” Finally got to agent Vanessa at 7:48 She called fight and said she had one person that was all checked in ready to go.

On July 2, 2021 I was schedule to fly from Toronto to Kingston Jamaica on Air Canada 1254. Upon arrival at the airport after checking on online and paying for my extra luggage I was told the COVID restrictions for Jamaica was changed July 1st.

I had all the required documentation including a negative COVID test result from a reputable government of Ontario lab. upon arrival both ground attendant and Supervisor wasn't able to come to an agreement. My COVID test was accepted by one manager but not by the other.

Air Canada tried to scam me out of $400. I called to book my pet into my flight which is $50 and they told me I’d have to pay $450. They told me there was only 1 spot and if I hung up the phone I’d have to lose it and have to book a new flight.

I called back cause they wouldn’t send me a quote or receipt and the person who answered told me to call a completely different number and it only costed $50 and there was plenty of space absolutely fraudulent.

I am a frequent flyer, and it was my first time flying with Air Canada. I am extremely disappointed with Air Canada. I had to rebook and pay $500 extra because there was a very confusing email on fully vaccinated passengers and testing.

I flew round trip from Boston to Morocco. Coming from Morocco, I was supposed to get the COVID test two days before my return which was not mentioned in my original email. While in Morocco, I tried to reach Air Canada via phone.

Racism and violation of my right I had a ticket to Shiraz-Iran transit at Doha airport. I checked in tagged my luggage and gave my document passport, prove of full vaccination and two Covid negative test result for less than 48 hours.

A person who claims to be a manager of the floor checked my document again and said my name is not on the second page of the Covid teat result. Then he start to ask me irrelevant question like if I am Iranian and do I stay in Qatar or is only transit and so on.

I have a complaint that I would like addressed. My family has given me Air Canada gift cards for special occasions that when added together is 1,800.00, this is so my husband and I could travel to Goose Bay, Labrador from Fort McMurray, AB. On July 21st my flight was changed from Frankfurt via Montreal to Halifax and re-booked over Toronto adding 6 hours more travel time and without explanation. The flight from Toronto to Halifax was shown as standby and at every occasion to get a seat confirmed I was blown off by the various personnel and told the flight was oversold etc.

which wasn’t the case as I could still purchase a seat on line. I booked my ticket from Khartoum to YYC on 18July 2021 I have connecting flight AC0323 from Montreal to Calgary AC0323 departure time 19:25 I missed my flight due to delays and insufficient connection time as have to go through public health measures and claim my baggage. I was on a flight from Chicago to Vancouver of a United Airline flight UA5689 on July 16, 2021. The flight was delayed approximately 5 hours due to technical issues and than grounded. We than boarded a other plane. The UA customer service agent told us in Chicago that he had put seats on hold for us in San Francisco for a later flight. I recently returned from an Air Canada flight from Vancouver after having the most horrific encounter with 2 of the male flight attendants. 5 hours from Vancouver to Ontario. I was watching a movie and about half way through the flight an attendant confronted me and informed me my mask was not HIGH ENOUGH over my nose.

I was confused since my mask was definitely over my nose. He proceeded to chastise my saying that my mask had to be over my ENTIRE nose and that base of my glass rims had to be lifted over the mask in addition to me pinching the bar over the arch of my nose located between my eyes.

I was in absolute disbelief. My 16 year old daughter was sitting next to me and she began telling him that my mask was over my nose, but he absolutely refused to budge. I told him he was abusing…

1) BOOKING REFERENCE 3BTKJM on this flight where I flew on business from Ottawa to Edmonton, I pre-paid for food on my flight, but on my flight to my destination I was forced to pay for food and was not given any food provisions as per my ticket. On my flight back to Ottawa there was no problem and I was given a choice of pre-paid food as per my booking. 2) booking ref# 3BTKJM on my flight back from Calgary my screen froze in the middle of viewing a movie and was off for more than an hour and a half till eventually it was successfully restored 10 minutes before we landed and I was not able to view the second part of the movie.

I'm trying to cancel a flight from Boston, MA, USA to Cairo Egypt scheduled on August 31st 2021 Confirmation number SUYWLK and all day I have been trying to call Air Canada, Put on hold for literally hours, then the Agent either hangs up, the line gets disconnected or teh last agent told me that she is 'not qualified to do that' and she is trying to get help and

that 'all the agents have left for the day. Seriously on a 24/7 toll free line they left for the day ? I believe the agents are trying to avoid my call. Called on July 14th 2021 many times.

re 3HUXT5 I was checking in to my flight and was informed that I could not travel because my ticket overstayed the length of stay for Croatia without a visa . I requested to purchase a one way return ticket to satisfy the visa requirements and the clerk refused to sell me one.

I missed my flight and had to rebook to a new flight for July 6th at the cost of about $600. and purchased a one way flight to satisfy the visa requirements. The clerk was rude and what he did was unacceptable.
