I have been faithful flying air Canada for over 50 years. My flight to Honolulu from Vancouver flying business class was the worst food I have ever been served. I ordered the chicken dish and not only was it cold but everything was gelatinous.

Absolutely disgusting, and not edible. Planning to give air Canada another try when I fly direst Vancouver to Brisbane. I know that the Hawaii run has the oldest planes, but there is no excuse for the inedible meal I had.

Dear AirCanada,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the handling of my recent luggage during my flight. Not only were my two bags not delivered to me as promised on the next day, but it took a full six days for me to finally receive them. This delay not only caused significant inconvenience and stress for me, but it also ruined my entire vacation!

To make matters worse, one of the lost bags contained my medication, which I needed to use on a daily basis to support my health. I had to spend money on purchasing essentials during the six days that my bags were missing. The fact that this is the second time in just three months that your company has lost my bags is completely unacceptable.

Hello. It’s taken me some time to think this all through what I want you to understand from this complaint. My husband and I flew to Vegas from Toronto this month. We flew air Canada there in premium economy and it was a great flight, exactly as we expected.

) We had upgraded to business class for the flight home to Toronto. We stayed in the united club lounge to wait for our flight. We left the lounge to go to the boarding gate. It was listed on our passes, it was listed on the app and it was never announced overhead in the lounge or walking through the airport.

There were several business class ticket holders there at the gate with us but no one else? No one knew what was happening. We continued to check the apps flight status and gate but nothing changed and no overhead announcements.…

78. Within an hour of booking it I realized that that I had booked the wrong time for the departure flight. I immediately called back and asked to change the time (not the date) of the that flight. After being on hold for almost 2 hours, I was advised that while I could cancel the flight within 24 hours, it would cost over $100 to change the time of the departing flight.

The agent suggested that I cancel and rebook. He did not tell me that it would take over three weeks for the cost of the cancelled flight to be returned to my credit card. However, The First Lady Cheelah had no patience to explain the rules and requirements to get the boarding pass even when there is no other passengers in the queue. She yelled at me that go back to the line and I do not want to help you.

Our booking reference was 2KHMD3. We paid extra for and selected all the seats we wanted on the day we booked our flights. I preferred aisle and my wife preferred window.

However, on the return flight from Vancouver to Edmonton (AC 240) on January 21, about 20 minutes before we would board, there was a text message from Air Canada informing my wife that "There was a seating change on her flight and she would be seated in 37B". We were shocked and angry.

We paid extra to select seat 12F for my wife because my wife is 80 years old and wants to be seated closest to the exit cabin door. So, I rushed to asked the Air Canada staff at the check-in desk.

We travelled on Jan 16 , paid for advance seats in the front . Once we were seated , no where to put our carry ons . We were then informed we had to move , caption request.. I asked since we paid extra for the seats could they not move someone who didn’t .

OnSaturday 14 January, we (my wife and me) took the Air Canada flight number AC 667 from Halifax to Montréal. We arrived to Montréal at 6 PM, one hour late. The problem which we faces was unimaginable. From 6 PM until 9:45 we were standing besides the baguage conveyor waiting for our bags!.

For more than 2 hours not a single bag from Halifax showed up. The name of our flight (Halifax)disappeared from the screen (there was more than 5 flights on the same screem). We were running from conveyor to another searching for our flight on any other screen.

Air Canada canceled my flight from Raleigh to Durham on 02-Jan-2023. It was a last minute cancellation with no severe weather conditions at play and I was asked to file a complaint to get $1000 reimbursement.

And now after 2 weeks of filing the complaint, neither am I told the reason for cancellation nor am I being reimbursed. All that is being offered is a $300 ecoupon that is only valid for AirCanada bookings. Is this some kind of a joke?

I want to get the $1000 refund as promised or else I will escalate the situation to senior officials and may also take it to social media. Please treat this matter with urgency.

I was leaving YVR on Jan 14, 2023 by taking AC007 arriving HK. When I arrived YVR airport at 7:30-7:45pm, an Asian female AC staff helped me to check-in the luggage. She then told me I had to produce RAT result upon arrival Hong Kong. However all my RAT kits were stored in my luggage which was checked. She told me I could pull out the luggage and placed it on the luggage belt again after done. I was a bit paranoid becuz my friend gave me the free RAT kits which are not user friendly. Later an Asian male AC staff warned me I shouldn’t do the test inside the check-in area but do it at the departure hall. I thought I couldn’t pull the luggage outside which had already checked.

I chose my chair for my returning trip from Vancouver to Houston Jan 14, flight 1300, confirmation number 46WOQJ. When I was checking in day before they had erased my selection. I called (1 hour waiting) they said it was going to be reserved again but it was not.

When I was going to board the AC person at gate 81 for 8:38 flight told me if some one bought the seat I had chosen they take it and send the person who did not pay to another seat. How is that possible, why then you get to chose a seat if there’s no respect for your selection.

I told him and he was not happy and told me to contact his boss, that those were company’s politics. That if Idid not pay for a seat that could happen. The seat I chose war free of charge so those were the consequences.

Booking # 4 ZHIFA. Waitlisted for e-upgrade Premier on Vancouver to Toronto and business from Toronto to Frankfurt. 1st leg of trip cancelled. The replacement flight wouldn’t let me upgrade . Even though space is available. Made it to gate fro 2nd trip on time. Denied boarding. Rebooted on another flight. E-upgrade requested.

Quoted e points + 1050 CAD. I lost time and all the seat planning that I paid for and my upgrade request that I was waitlisted for. Air Canada refused to honor any of its commitments. It seems to me that this type of treatment is based on racially motivated.

To say nothing of my other issues with my flights, I was notified of a cancellation of my Dec 26 flight, late on Dec 25. They shut down their phone lines so I couldn't even call to try to get a rescheduling. The issue reported to me was, "Equipment Availability", not a weather delay.

I called the next day to try to change from the Dec 29 flight they 'automatically assigned' me to to something sooner, as I was not in a safe environment and had to leave as soon as possible. Sure enough, after 4 hours of waiting, a rep told me they had, "seats available every day, didn't understand why they assigned me the 29th". So after spending 4 hours to do their job of booking me the soonest flight out, I thought it was over.

Re Booking reference 4XY66Q - Sunday Dec. 11, 2022 - departure from YYZ. We were scheduled to depart at 09:00. The air crew was waiting at the gate from 08:00 on. We had arrived from the Maple Leaf lounge at 08:00 to board 08:10.

The plane did not arrive at the gate until well past 09:30. Loading was not completed until well past 10:30. The departure in my original booking date was changed from Saturday to Sunday. I spoke to an Air Canada representative to verify the change and ask the location of the 787.

While vacationing in Costa Rica my husband broke his leg. I made arrangements by telephone with Air Canada to advise that he would require a wheelchair and assistance at both airports during our trip home. Air Canada lost 2 pieces of my luggages Reference #: SGNKE28265 (luggage tracking # 104041 and 103940)

During the connecting flight from Seoul ICN to Ho Chi Minh city on November 30, 2022 (from flight # AC61 to flight #OZ0375), there was a delayed and we were directed to stay behind because they had to rebook us on the next flight.

The problem began in such a bad/horrible way as following

I flew home on Air Canada flight 1515 from Varadero Cuba to Thunder Bay with my family of 13. 3 of the family members flew first class the rest were comfort class. My father and Brother tried to upgrade to first class online as well as in person at the gate.

They both were more than willing to pay and they both have 50 k status and above. The ground crew working at the air canada departure out of Cuba were extremely rude. During our 10 days in Cuba we did not encounter one rude person in Cuba until flying home.

I arrived on the island from Toronto on Dec 26 with my young son . After 2 delays in toronto we arrived in kingston Jamaica approximately 4:30 p,.m. only to hear our baggages were not on board. We paid this fare months agon and to find out that a twelve-day vacation is now in its 6th day our pieces of luggage cannot be found.

I booked through expedia. Flight was cancelled by Air Canada. When flight was cancelled, Air canada rep informed us that we can cancel for full refund. I contacted Expedia and they said per airline policies, we are entitled for full refund, so we cancelled the flights.

Now it's been 4+ months and expedia informed me that Air Canada is not responding to their emails and refusing to give Expedia control of the tickets so they can submit the refund request.

There is no customer service number. It must be a joke. They can’t put you on hold because of unforeseen circumstances. It’s been going on for weeks like this, even their lost baggage number is a nightmare, and if you do get through you are on hold for hours and hours!

New technology is supposed to make things easier but instead it can make you so sick and depressed. How can air Canada treat customers like dirt?! I am taking a more reliable airline in future.

An 8 hr delay. But they do t tell you it’s an 8 hr delay. They keep emailing you in one hour delays so to keep your hopes up. Absolutely terrible updates.

Also arrive in Ft Lauderdale at 2am and you would think they would call ahead to arrange a gate ? But no they don’t so after an 8 hr delay we sit on the ground for another 30 mins really no wonder Sir Canada o oh survives because of the Liberal government that subsidizes them.

What a joke of an airline.

I booked business class flight for my father who is 91 years old. On his flight (AC 33 on December 24, 2022) from Vancouver to Sydney, his seat was changed last minute but worst part was that no one helped him set up the bed during overnight flight.

This was his first time flying business class, given he had unaccompanied adult service, someone should have helped him set up the bed. He was up during the whole flight and didn’t know how to adjust his seat to lie flat and get some rest in over 15 hours!!!

I booked business class for over $10k so he can sleep on the overnight flight.

Also, he had to ask for vanity case as there was nothing on the seat. I would have expected someone to help him more closely given his age.

No one's picking up there phone how do you guys over charge for your flights but have rude and incompetent employees that can't even pick up the phone I have an issue that need to be resolved but with air Canada seemes like.ill be here for the next 6 months trying to get a hold.of this air line they gave me a refund but tookmthe money right back like a bunch of clowns job and even when someone did pick up the phone last time they were no help and they leave you on hold

I was oassing threw Montreal airport flying to Frankfurt to visit my family for the holidays I arrived in Montreal I went to the bar and I had a few drinks then I went outside for a smoke come back threw customs with no issues at all sit at my terminal and wait for my delayed flight then I was removed out of the airport by security after doing a sobriety test for the security and

it’s a snow storm I had to phone the police to let me back in the airport then they banned my travel for 24 hours leaving my parents to buy another night in a hotel in Frankfurt to wait for me I had to purchase a hotel aswell in Montreal and pay more money for a new flight the next day now I have lost two days of my vacation wasn’t compensated for anything that has happened to me and then when I arrive to pick up…
