On October 20, my wife and I travelled from Toronto to Atlanta business class, which was (of course) delayed. We had 2 NORMAL size carry-on bags (yes, they easily fitted into the bag checker) which did not fit into the overhead compartments, many of these compartments at the front business class area on the port side were unusable as they appeared to be locked.

With little leg room to begin with (obviously reduced room on this aircraft like the overheads) and our two carry-on bags stuffed under the seat in front along with our two backpacks. As soon as I stopped trying to stuff our bags into the overhead and bent down to put our backpacks in, economy class passengers reached over me and dumped in their assorted bags.

After spending a wonderful month in Italy, we were not prepared for the fiasco that awaited us on our way home. We were scheduled to fly from Rome to Frankfurt (Luftansa) and then Frankfurt to Vancouver (Air Canada). I had booked a flight from Vancouver to Victoria three hours after our scheduled arrival at YVR.

We were particularly looking forward to flying home in Premium Economy class because our flight to Italy using that level of service was so pleasant. All of our travel arrangements put us at the departure gate in Rome in plenty of time for our flight.

Shortly after boarding the Luftansa flight the pilot notified us that there would be a delay because of a bird strike; he also said that we would be in Frankfurt in plenty of time to make connecting flights. Turns out he was…

I would like to complain that I receive every time I travel on AirCanada, a reminder to auto check on my phone as a text at 3:00 a.m. on the day of my flight as well as an email. The emial is fine and I usually don't check in until Iget to the airport about 2 hours prior to departure. That is because I don't know how many bags I wll have.

BUT TO BE AWAKENED AT 3:00 AM IS COMPLETELY DISRUPTIVE AND OVERKILL. THE NEXT TIME I RESERVE I WILL NOT GIVE MY PHONE/TEXT NUMBER, BUT I WOULD LIKE YOU TO OBLITERATE ANY PONE NUMBERS YOU HAVE ON MY FILE WITH AN APLOLOGY! Having travelled on several occasions fron the caribbean to montreal via toronto, and having selected seats on both sectors close to the front of the aircraft, my wife and I have been reseated on checkin to the rear of the aircraft on the montreal leg much to our discomfort. It would be nice to be seated as booked for a change as after a full day's travel, we could do without this unnecessary disrespect. Thank you.

It has been few months now that my lost items were not recovered. I have kept getting updates on regular basis juts saying "we were unbale to find your lost items". and Suddenly the updates have just stopped.

I am putting a claim to be reimbursed for the lost item as I would like to buy them back, these are special items that I use regularly.

I'm just so surprised and disappointed with the lack of customer service I have been provided with. Sent twice someone physically to the Airport with no success.

On September 13-2022 I was coming back from Rome To Montreal Flight No. AC892, the worst flight I ever had. I did not expect that from Air Canada, we were packed like sardines, we could not move, we could not eat when the hostess came down the isle with the carts they kept on hitting my wife on the leg.

They made the washrooms even smaller you cannot move the service was not any better, they did not even come by to serve drinks like they used too. I paid $1500 for my ticket with the advanced seat selection, but the trip was not even worth half of that.

For this reason I think I deserve a compensation. I will be waiting for your response.

During my check in, Francis that works for air Canada check in was a very rude lady. She had an attitude that was not acceptable. As my father and I were acting very friendly with her and trying to figure out our situation, she kept asking for documents rudely.

“I had asked her why her responsive is very rude”” she replies with no I’m not” I asked her could you figure our problem and do your job right to provide us with the correct information with a travel document she responds with “I’ve been working here for 30 years I know what I’m doing” her attitude exceeded. ”

I was traveling from india to canada( Delhi-Montreal-Halifax) with my son who cannot walk too long so booked and paid for a wheel chair for my son from Delhi Airport. Got service in Delhi and paid him almost Rs500 (1000 fees ) as tip forcefully asked by him.

And same was expected in Montreal airport. But unfortunately no wheel chair service was provided. Which leads to fever to my kid .

Been travelling for 20 hrs and then find out that my connecting flight has been switched to a later flight with no warning I now have a 3 hr lay over which will put me in to late to make my next connection home . As I’m told there is nothing they can do I watch my scheduled flight leave with out me and then find out that they one I am now waiting for is going to be a hr later .

So in total I willl have been travelling for 30 hrs … now have to book a room to stay in tonight $$$ on me .. The customer service desk was completely unhelpful and it was like I was the inconvenience.

Forced to check carry on despite bag that CLEARLY fit in the stupid thing they use to size luggage. She said the “wheels” stuck out so it had to get checked. Total bullshit. My wife and I flew from Edmonton to San Francisco with carryon luggage only. While waiting for our flight in Edmonton, the gate agent asked for volunteers to check any carry on luggage. We decide to assist with the space issues and check our carryons.

When we arrived in San Francisco, it took 2 hours for Air Canada to locate our 2 carry on bags that were checked and delayed our afternoon plans. In the future I will never check any carryons again.

On September 15th my wife and I flew on Air Canada from Washington Dulles to Montreal. Service and flight were fine until we reached Montreal. We had requested a wheelchair for my wife at both locations. All went well at Dulles.

When the plane arrived at Montreal, we were asked to wait until everyone had debarked, which was fine with us. Arrival of the wheelchair was delayed, which was not a problem. The young man providing the wheelchair service immediately complained that he had hurt his back transporting a “300 pound” passenger with significant luggage.

He delivered us to the upper level above the immigration booths and informed us that a colleague would take us the rest of the way. We waited at least 20 minutes, but no one arrived. I asked several Air Canada employees if they could…

1st time customer on a direct flight from Houston,Tx to Toronto,Texas. 4pcs if luggage ,only 1 luggage did not arrive. The flight was change from gate and maybe my 4th luggage never was put into the Actual airplane. My diabetes medication is on it and it's been 7 days.

I was travelling with my family on September 19th of this year at YVR. I asked an Asian Air Canada customer service lady how I would be able to check in my luggage at the kiosk and she looked rather bothered by this question.

Further, she didn't look at all interested in helping me. Eventually, she helped me check in at the kiosk and she checked in my suitcase. But, she looked so bothered by helping me and it looked like a chore. In addition, I went to the Air Canada desk where I was asked to show my boarding pass.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TRAVELLING WITH A PET. I recently booked a flight from Santa Ana to Vancouver and made reservations for myself and my dog. Dog to be put in cargo due to size.

I called customer service. Made the reservation. They took my dog’s info such as weight, kennel size, vaccination information, and confirmed aircraft type. Informed me it was 100.00USD to have my dog in the bottom cargo hold. I have flown with my animal several times. I have not had any issues.

I show up and the ticketing agent asks what my plans are for my dog. I explained I have a reservation for her. The response was that Air Canada doesn’t fly dogs anymore. That changed 2 months ago. Gloria was very rude first to my wife when she asked if there’s a different lineup for parents with babies and then to me as I was boarding the plane. When I was boarding they forgot to put a tag on my babies stroller and she yelled at me saying I should know that I need a tag.

Your Web Site is a Joke, i have tried two browswers, Chrome and Edge. Bothtimes that I select my flights depart and return, it accepts it then when it goes to the Person flying it comes up with a WE CANNOT BOOK THIS AT THIS TIME error code BK<CART,039.

I had a really bad experience on my return home concerning my carry on bag. I have been travelling with this carry on for over 10 years including 4 times this year and suddenly my recent trip I have been told that my carry on is not conform as carry.

The approaches from 2 agents in Montreal and 1 in Toronto made me feel that I am a criminal. My carry on fits perfectly the measurements boxe. It was a very disturbing experience.

I have been an AC client for many years and I am contemplating going to the competition. In the last year I have been late on departures to the extent of ridiculousness. Just yesterday 5 hours late to leave, before that six hours late.

Why can’t AC get there act together as well as show the compassion and customer service they used to have. You can use Covid as an excuse for only So long. Get your act together and show some service to the client. It is disgraceful!!!

Why would anyone want to fly Air Canada? I have have yet another bad experience that took 3 days and countless hours on the phones!!! i feel sorry for the staff at companies such as Air Canada with having to put up with frustrated customers caused by poor management.

My Latest incident was booking a flight to Mexico that had to be placed several times as the system kept crashing so finally i got my booking confirmation with all the information however i need to check to see that my seating was correct and low and behold the Booking reference that i was issued magically disappeared even thought i had the paper copy.

Checking bags in Toronto pearson airport and only one cashier to pay with debt(YEG had 4). Waited in line for the one cashier and I ended up being the last one in line, instead of helping me for 4 minutes they told me they were closed and I have to go to another line elsewhere. I was livid.

Simple solution is having someone else taking her spot to help me or doing a bit extra and helping the last person in line. Gave 2 stars to the lovely lady Air Canada worker who took me to the front of another line after she agree it was terrible service

I travel Toronto to Delhi on business class round trip both ways having food ordered salmon fish they said we finished. But on returning I had dinner sole fish with salad only coz of wheat intolerance and when ordered egg breakfast they only left with parantha so gave me small portions of fruit and oat sweet dish .

After 16 hrs journey basically only one meal. I am practicing vet in Canada. This is my first time travel in B class. Just think 16 hr flight not a one good meal.

I requested a wheelchair as per doctor's orders as I was coming home after having had surgery abroad. Upon arriving in Toronto after the first leg of my journey, an attendant wheeled me to a place not far from the ramp that exited the aircraft and told me to wait there for someone to come and get me.

After waiting over 2 hours and calling out to several Air Canada employees as they walked by, I got up and walked to one I saw driving a motorized cart and said I had a connection and needed to collect and recheck my baggage. By the time I finally got to the baggage drop, it was closed.

Fortunately my next flight wasn't for another 8 hours, so I didn't end up missing my connection but the annoying thing was that I was left to babysit my baggage for the next 6-8 hours until check-in opened.…

My wife and I took a flight ( Booking reference : 2IZZID ) to Orlando via Air Canada Rouge with 7 other family members a few weeks ago. We booked our flight over 5 months ago but to our surprise my wife and I were given the worse seats on the plane even though we had selected different seats when we originally booked.

I purchased a business class ticket Toronto to Montreal return. I paid $2600. I flew back tonight (September 8) on AC 423. Not only was the flight was over an hour late, there wasn’t any food and not even any ice for my water!!! $2600!!! I am beyond disappointed.

This service is terrible and extremely expensive. If you are going to cut service dramatically you should drop ticket prices dramatically.

On August 7th 2022, I checked in at 0700 for a flight to Jamaica. Ticket number 014-3974518791, my flight should be at 10:00 am. I was given a Boarding pass for a departure time at 15:20, this I queried and was told there was a delay.

I was wheeled away from (being a wheelchair customer) to a gate that was not on my Boarding pass, this I also queried and was told there was a change. I sat in that wheelchair until 3pm not even a cup of water.

I was in so much pain with my post operated shoulder and my arthritic knees.. My medication was in my carry on which was taken at check in anticipating that the next dose would be ok I would be in Jamaica.

Flight AC1077 September 4th, 2022 from Washington to Toronto.. delay after landing exceeded one hour. Totally unacceptable! 5 hrs to take off. Totally unacceptable! This is not the first time similar delays happen and those incidents are so recent. Air Canada is too big to face such issues..
