We have not seen our luggage since Friday 22nd when we left Manchester for Toronto /Winnipeg . We have not been contacted by the courier and we have had no joy when we contacted customer services who was unable to contact the courier company.

We cannot replace the items that are lost as they are specialist kit for our trip to Churchill . We transfer to Winnipeg airport grand hotel tomorrow . Luggage YWGA42543

We paid for premium economy as we were worried about international travel and booked flight AC820 from Toronto to Barcelona. We paid for priority service and our luggage was tagged as such in toronto. We alerted the plane to our luggage not being on the plane before takeoff as we had apple airtags that told us they were still about 0.3 km away from the plane. The flight attendant reassured us they were on. On arrival in BCN it was confirmed they did not make it and our air tags show them as still being 6400 km away. The incoming flight last night to BCN from YYZ was cancelled so we still do not have them. We are now travelling to Seville tomorrow and will miss our bags. It has been a very stressful…

I cannot rate Air Canada at this time. If I had to say anything I would suggest all flyers take a different carrier. We were stuck in the Montreal (YUL) airport for 36 hours. We had several cancellations of flights until we were able to get to our final destination.

I have sent a complaint to your company but intern was told that we cannot be compensated. We should not have been stuck in an airport for that long. When we finally we given a flight number, that flight was delayed for several hours.

I was booked on a flight out of Kansas City direct to Toronto Canada on Sunday. The flight was canceled the evening before the flight, and my husband, infant and toddler had already made the drive to Kansas City and paid for a hotel.

There was no more direct flights so we scheduled a flight out of Wichita the following day. Air Canada canceled both flights without notification because they had already rerouted me out of Kansas City. Again without any notification that they had rerouted me!

I showed up at the wichita Airport early in the morning with a toddler and an infant only to find out that I was not on the now fully booked flight! Not only am I out the gas money from Kansas City to Wichita and back, and the hotel fee, but now I missed a whole day in Canada with my family!

My flights were delayed and then essentially I missed connecting flight. Was stranded in Vancouver airport at 11 pm at night and next flight didn’t leave till next morning. I requested help from service staff and they said they couldn’t do anything because delay was due to security issue.

I became aware of the first delay as I was boarding the plane in Halifax. No time to make alternate arrangements. No suggestions from your staff. Actually staff were very rude and unapologetic.

I will be asked my employer to use other airlines for future travel

We ordered a gluten free meal for my 15 year old daughter who is coeliac. When the meals were served, we were told that the special diet meals had not been provided to the plane that day. The stewardess provided no apology whatsoever, even after I explained that my daughter would therefore go for over ten hours with no food.

She said there was nothing available and walked off. This was untrue. A subsequent stewardess was able to find some gluten free food for her. Being coeliac is not a choice. That AC did not care enough about their customers to provide the ordered food was bad enough, the complete lack of compassion and customer care by the stewardess was much worse.

My husband booked flight from Vancouver to Detroit, USA. The flight was delayed for 6 hours departing from Montreal airport to Detroit ended up to be there at 2 am the next day. On the way back, worsens, flight was cancelled then it was changed to afternoon which supposed to depart at 9am. Arrived at Toronto and catch another to wait for 2.30 hours delay flight again. Delayed from beginning plus cancelled and delayed again….

What’s service!!!!!! If I can put zero on scale I will do.

I am disabled and I requested a wheelchair to assist me from the drop off at Air Canada to my gate which is going to LAX on next Friday. I'm being charged $145 and I am legally disabled. Why do you charge for this the two reasons I received or because it's an international flight and the other one was because it's an outside company.

That this is just disheartening does Canada have a Canadian Disability Act I want to know?

I would give ZERO star rating for Air Canada, but this site makes me choose at least 1 star. Flight from YEG to BKK and return 30 days later, upon getting boarding passes at the counter was told that Aeroplan number would be applied to each flight for rewards as usual and "don't worry about the tight connection time" this is a regular flight .

The very first connection was late, no staff help to make make it to board next flight, lost baggage of course as a result and had to wait in BKK for 2 days awaiting bags to show before continuing with vacation. the difference is like night and day!

So 2 months after returning from this trip and still haven't seen my Aeroplan points applied to the 6 flights taken on this trip. Called Aeroplan and message says to call Air Canada, called Air Canada…

Delayed 4,45 hours missing connection then put on a much later flight, even though there was an earlier one however the air Canada phone lines were down, then was told when I get to Toronto I can change to the earlier however after waiting in line 45 minutes in Toronto they could not do anything because I checked a bag however the person in Raleigh did not say anything about that !!!! There customer service doesn't exist at all. If you call them the wait is between 1 1/2 hours to 3* hours. I had a flight from Manila to Vancouver to Las Vegas. Air Canada cancelled the flight and put me on one at 9:00 AM.

The only problem is that I don't get in there until 6:30 PM. How idiotic can this airline be? I paid for a seat and baggage but how do I transfer what I paid over to a new flight? Who knows because they don't anser their phones.

I assure you that I will never let a travel agent book me on Air Canada ever again. Can a big company like them really be that stupid? Hard to believe but they are. call them at 888-247-2262 and see how long they tell you it will take them to answer.

I took my mother on a once in a lifetime trip with Trafalgar bus tour company, where we travelled to England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

On May 5th I flew to London, England from Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a layover in Toronto, Ontario. Upon arriving in London on the morning of May 6th I was informed that my bag had not been loaded in Toronto. I put in a claim with Air Canada at Heathrow Airport and gave them the address of the hotel where I was going to be the following day. I was assured that the bag would be waiting for me when I arrived at that hotel the next day.

Every flight was delayed by hours. First flight was canceled. Return flight was delayed so long that we missed connection and had to stay an extra day in Toronto. The rebooked plane is hours late and we were boarded then returned to the airport for no staff or ground crew.

I travelled with Air Canada on 7th July from Nanaimo to Vancouver as part of a booking involving further flights with United from Vancouver to Houston on the same day and then from Houston to Panama City on 8th July. I checked with the desk that my checked luggage (1 bag) would be routed directly to Panama City and would not need collection on route.

I was assured by the check in staff that this was correct and a few minutes later received an email confirmation from Air Canada that my checked bag was routed directly to Panama City. On arriving at Houston the aircraft crew announced that we would need to collect our luggage so went to the luggage reclaim area where an airport employee advised that our luggage was routed directly to Panama and would not need to be collected until then.…

Air Canada Your service stinks.. ff” I made travel arrangements to go to Ottawa via Toronto from Edmonton. Even had to change my dates to avoid going through Calgary that add distance and time to going east. And at the last minute your staff changed my flight to pass through Calgary and adding a three hour stop.

Changing my arrival from 23:30 hr to 01:30 hr. It feels like Edmontoniens are being treated as second class citizens. Your practices will push me even more to give any of my business to any of your competitors. I will stop here as I am running out proper’s words to use.

So day two in Pearson airport here.

Third set of flights cancelled. Been traveling for 36 hours now. Ten different lines last night to wait in for what should have been a simple fly through. At one point 100 of us were literally locked in a security zone with no way out at midnight.

They closed the area around us with no guidance. I now will avoid Air Canada, Toronto, and never honor what I used to consider our brothers to the North. Wife and daughter are in tears. Thanks Canada :( Need a lawyer

On 7/18/22, flight AC752 was delayed several times, and the reason given was weather related. The said flight was finally canceled late in the afternoon, and the reason given was weather related again. My wife was flying back to EWR, and of course no meals or lodging for the night was provided.

My Kids had to rescue their Mom by booking a room at the Hilton hotel at YYZ at a very high cost. This is not the first time we have experienced the disgustingly low level of customer care by Air Canada.

It is grossly inhumane to treat passenger like this. The incompetent and rude staff did not even make an attempt to help the passengers. I will not seek compensation, but changes MUST be made. I have traveled on Air Canada twice for a total of 4 flights.

The second plan was delayed 6 hours, and we had three gate changes.

The fourth flight has been delayed for two hours and we have gone through five gate changes.

This airline is like a joke, the entire experience has been a shit show. This is a horribly run airline, have no intention of ever using this airline again. You are unable to accomplish the simplest of tasks.

I flew from Toronto to Seattle on 14 July 2022, on Air Canada Flight 543. My checked luggage did not arrive with my flight. I was told that it would be sent the next day (since Air Canada has only one flight per day on this route).

However, when I went back to the airport on 15 July, my suitcase still had not arrived. The agent at the baggage office told me that I would receive a phone call when it did arrive. The next evening, even though I had not received a call by midnight, I decided to make another trip to the airport and found my suitcase this time.

Our flight 8382 on Friday July 08 from Saskatoon to Toronto was cancelled, and as a result we lost Eid celebration with our family and Eid prayer. In addition, our alternate flight was not a direct flight as the original one we bought.

1- There was a delay in my flight from Toronto to Frankfurt (Flight Number AC 842 ; date: 16/JULY/2022) 2- I had a connecting flight from Frankfurt to Riyadh at , which means I would not catch it, as a consequence of the flight delay. 3- Air Canada changed my route to Dubai, then to Riyadh (flights 056AC & SV 553) 4- I could not find my 2-checked bags as I arrived to Riyadh Airport.

Because of the Delay: 1- I lost one working day in Riyadh 2- I am staying in the hotel because my apartment and car keys in the bags, including , clothes, medicine and other stuff.

I would really appreciate compensating me for the discomfort, and the addition costs incurred due to the flight delay.

We had a horrific flight last night to the point my wife went to hospital due to sever incident while we were flying and she got scared. Turbulence happens but that was more than turbulence. We fly twice a month due to nature of our jobs but we never ever had this kind of incident.

Specially when the pilot didn’t even bother to speak with passengers during the incident or even after . For a full 15 min of consistently airplane was shaking and going dawn fast every one was shocked then flight attendant with so much attitude announced it was turbulence, thats all nothing heard from pilot! Air Canada was completely unavailable when an emergency arises. I got very sick in the begining of my trip and spent 10 days in the hospital in Majorca Spain. Air Canada was not helpful and were so unresponsive to my changes of flight information because of my illness.

They were not helpful at all. Will never take Air Canada ever again. They would not give me any direction or help. My travel agent waited 10 hours to get a customer service person to help me. Flights ACA871 and AC779.

My bag is still lost. I filed complaint on Jul 6th. Complaint number is CMNAC 13843 , luggage tag AC 841099. You advised to pick up my luggage in Casablanca before taking next flight to Cairo. My bag didn't arrive in Casablanca.

I am traveling to Oslo, Norway through London heathrew airport. flight number AC 856. I was in a line for check in and after a long waiting come to the checking counter. There was a man in 40-50 aged toll more than 30 minutes to checking in my family with 2 adult and 2 children.

He was telling us to pay $200 because four sized back. He was rude and was teething me that I was rude and he will make me to not travel about 6 months and also threatening me that he will call the cop.

Ac 8349 from Vancouver to Prince George

Flight delayed from Toronto but pilot held the plane in Prince George. I was travelling with 2 young children. We had our tickets and they would not let us board.. The explanation was the “ Computer “ would not allow us.

We had tickets for seat 9c 9A 9D They were allowing people in line behind me on.

We then had to wait 2 hours for the next flight.

Customer service was no help . They threw me 3 food vouchers.

I booked a flight from Montreal to Los Angeles connecting thru Toronto (booking ref: 4H8XIZ) to attend a family funeral in LA. Less than 6 hours before the departing flight I was informed of significant delays that would mean that we would miss the funeral.

And by 12 hours no less. I cancelled our tickets and got back the points and a refund for the over $1,000 I paid less $350 for cancellation fees. Why should I pay fees for cancellation. I regret not being able to attend the wedding and insist on having the fees refunded. Thank you.

On 15 July 2022, my Air Canada flight 807 from EDI to YYZ saw delays of about two hours, causing a missed connection for the next segments (to IAD and then MSY). Those things happen, I understand. That is not my complaint.

Air Canada rebooked us and as we landed handed us boarding passes for the rebooked flight. Upon review of the new boarding passes, we saw they Air Canada booked us to ORD then onward to IAD (not to our intended final destination, MSY.

So we immediately went to Air Canada Customer Service desk located near the entry to Terminal F/Connecting flights. This was at approximately 1430 hours on 15 July. After waiting in line for awhile, the desk agent didn't seem to understand what the problem was, why we didn't want to go to Chicago and Dulles later that day!

I showed up to the airport for a different flight since ours was delayed by 4 hours, but the ticket didn’t work and was seemingly cancelled. So, we decided to just go on the delayed flight and get there the next day instead.

Yet, that ticket was also cancelled. That wouldn’t have been an issue if it didn’t take 3 hours and 3 separate calls to get costumer service on the phone to rebook the tickets. The poor gate agents couldn’t do anything as they are unequipped for this.

So, we are now arriving a day later than expected and have spent many unnecessary hours in the airport. Not to mention missing our connection- all this before even getting on our flight.

I suffer from stage 4 Prostate cancer which is relevant in this issue. Upon landing at Heathrow on flight AC862 on 12th July the aircraft came to a halt for a period of time. As a result of my condition I was desperate to use the toilet.

I stood up and a stewardess assaulted me by grabbing my clothing and arm. She shouted SIT DOWN NOW, as I tried to explain the urgency she again shouted the same. Extremely embarrassing in front of many passengers. Treated like a child, not an adult with serious medical condition.

Did complain to chief steward before vacating aircraft, but did nit seem particularly sympathetic. Suffering flashbacks.

Air Canada created a case for me for the refund voucher. Email says the case will be handled with 10 weeks. Meanwhile, it says "don't reply to this email. If any problem, call the number"

12 weeks later, I heard nothing. So I got onto their website and created another case describing this case. Meanwhile I called the number. Someone called back two hours later telling me he can't find the case number. His suggestion: 1. Don't call the number 2. Reply to the original email which says "Do not reply" 3. Create a case with customer service for this case.

3 days later, I still got no answer for the case so I called the number again. Now the answer is "We don't handle case. Wait for customer service to reply your email." Maybe the wait time will be ten to twenty years until I totally forget…

Update on my problems with Air Canada - I received a travel voucher for one set of tickets but not the other set. Of course, no one answers at their customer service number and the computer set of responses doesn’t allow for asking about missing vouchers.

Folks, just don’t travel with these people - I’m only pursuing this because I can’t afford to lose so much money, over $1,200 for each pair of tickets, and I bought 2 pair! And NO ONE at the company cares, can’t get a call back, nothing.

I have 12 checked in bags that are missing and following up with aircanada for past 10 days. I don’t get any updates and the status remains same. I tried to reach them on twitter and email with no luck.

@aircanada experience has been horrible so far

I book ticket with air Canada. pay 2500 from Edmonton to Toronto. my wife and two dogs. i pay for comfort package. priority boarding two check in bags 2 carry on . that pleasure cost me like 80 x 4 =320.

i have recordings talking to AC and they confirm my questions. going to Toronto it was pleasurable experience. everything was as promised. On way back it was disaster. we came 2 hours before flight and we missed our flight. i cant describe there, it will take more than 100 words.

ca and your system don't allowed me. com and its wrong

I was to depart from London Ontario on June 16th at 6:20 am, it got changed 4 times. 05 to Toronto. Plane in London was being delayed and wouldn't make Toronto flight to Victoria. Went home caught flight on Saturday for 06:20 to Toronto, then had 4 hrs ďelay in Toronto before flying to Victoria BC.

Flight AC8250 on June 16th, Flight June 17th AC 8262 ,flight June 18th AC8250 and my reference:2FAPMK

I was notified today of a seat change. My seats were specifically chosen as my husband has mobility issues. My booking was made March 18, 2022. I was on hold for 2 hours. The customer service rep had tone and attitude probably from handling too many complaint calls.

She said I should change flights. I said ask the other customer to change flights since my seats have been secured since March 18th. I explained time has been booked off work back in March for this trip and would not be able to change now.

The customer service rep hung up the phone on me. I am not impressed. I have worked with Air Canada and have been a loyal supporting customer as an International Freight Forwarder/Customs Broker for over 40 years , not to mention as a private citizen.

I want my seats changed back to the…
