We took our daughter and soon to be son in law to visit my aging parents who can not travel. The trip own was fine although the flight from Portsmouth to PG was very late.

The reason for writing is on our return flight the Punta Gorda ticket counter person, Linda, was the rudest person we've ever come across in many years of travel. We were 90 min early and were treated at the counter with insults and rudeness- others travelers noticing. It put a stain on what was a very nice trip. I had thought I checked us all in but she looked like she wanted to kill me when I told her this. She yelled at me that we were not checked in. NEVER AGAIN!! There is a reason they are rated 1 star! They deserve ZERO! MOST Rude staff I have ever encountered and after waiting and continuously being delayed almost 5 hours they tell us that if we can’t get loaded in 20 minutes the pilot will be out of hours and our flight will be cancelled.

Staff needs much improvement on customer care and appeared over worked and frazzled. Will NEVER FLY THEM AGAIN! Was traveling with a dog and the staff had no concern for pet at all. Not pet friendly at all and actually the flight attendant was just nasty and hateful—obviously not having a good day and she was sharing that hatefulness to all passengers—did she not realize she is in a business of customer service?

On the thanksgiving weekend we flew from Destin Florida to Belleville Illinois we boarded the plane with two carry-ons plus the wife’s purse, when leaving Belleville Illinois with the same amount of luggage and had to pay 100.000 dollars for on extra carry on the wife’s purse… Also once we arrived to our home in Missouri I found a pair of scissors that I have forgotten about in my work backpack. Booked a flight from south bend to st Pete/Clearwater. Was supposed to depart at 9:50am did not depart until after 1:30. Was told a plane was not available. Why set a flight time and have a full plane when you don’t have a plane available.

Had to change car reservations and check in times because of being delayed for 4 hours

Hi, I am flying out of Belleville airport near St. Louis and as I was going through security, the TSA man making sure all the bags were clear dropped my mac book pro on the ground and dented the corner of it.

I had my mac book out in one of the bins ready to go, and it was still in its case to prevent that from happening but then it got dented. Luckily for me, my computer still works fine, but it is the dismissal of the action from the worker that did the action that bothers me.

A sorry at the bare minimum would have been nice. After my computer came back to me I checked it to make sure it was okay and still worked, and although the screen is fine, the corner of a computer I paid for is dented.

I had a flight that was supposed to leave from BWI to Savannah on Tuesday the 22nd of November at 7:30. Through out the day preparing to go to the airport the app only said the plane was delayed by a few minutes at most.

When I arrived to the airport however the time had changed to two hours after the original departure time. Upon arriving at the terminal in BWI, there were no Allegiant Air travel agents at the gate to get any kind of updates from.

So myself and all of the other poor souls, including small children were waiting at this terminal in BWI for the better part of four hours with no information other than what the app was reporting. An airport manager(who isn’t even your employee) finally informed us that the plane was in route from North Carolina and it had been delayed…

Allegiant is garbage. First the flight was delayed over 2 hours getting into Asheville because of maintenance problems then we finally boarded and sat on the plane for over an hour waiting on paperwork for a computer problem. So clearly their airplanes are pieces of trash that have so many problems they can’t even make it the normal flights they’re supposed to.

I was in seat 29A there was a child behind me that was kicking the chair behind the person in the middle seat. She ended up moving. The child continued kicking the seat. I asked the adult he was with it she could stop him from kicking the seat.

She replied that she had told him to stop. He started kicking again I called for the stewardess, and she told me that she couldn't control other's actions. After she asked me if I had spoken to the adult the child was with.

Allegiant lost my bag. They then didn’t answer my emails for several days and when I tried to leave voicemails for the baggage recovery department it said the mailbox was full. When I finally got my bag, the person said I don’t have voicemail.

Went to book my parents tockets on my allegiant mobile app and when tried to pay got a message saying cannot process payment.

My wife boarded the plane from Grand Rapids at 9:30 am then all passengers were told to leave due to plane issues going to Las Vegas. Was told repairs would be done in 3 hours, then was told the flight would not leave until 9:00 pm they said it was delayed, they said it wasn’t cancelled so

Upon arriving in Las Vegas with my 80 year old mother in law her mobility scooter was delivered to us at the gate no longer working. After countless hours trying to get help we finally got the now deadweight scooter (it doesn’t roll or move and all when not running) to the allegiant office by baggage claim where I experienced worst customer service of my life .

Pardon my French but those two elderly asshole men in there were the laziest most uncaring, unhelpful jerks I have ever experienced! ) looked at it and said appears not to be damaged. Nothing we can do. Mind you the scooter shows full battery but obviously some connection issue since the flight since she drove it to the gate when we flew out!

He yelled at me when I tried to use the cart to hoist this heavy scooter and 2 carryons…

I observed a stewardess abuse a group of customers. She said a women looked like a Zombie. They sat down and she came to the back of cabin telling them they would be removed if they requested any service. They were confounded. I was too.

The young women was crying as her father died. After the flight she was asked to provide her name. She refused. Out of no where she began calling them names and being combative. She said it was because she’s a black girl.

I spoke up and was scared so I began recording for my safety. She was scaring me. She attempted to have us arrested and wanted my video confiscated. It was not taken by officers. They were decent and let us move on.

I feel violated and I’m afraid to fly Allegiant after this horrific experience. I am concerned this women is not stable.…

If there were a negative 5star i would click it. I have flown with allegiant over the past15-20 years never ever a problem. I have traveled with my little babygirl shih tzu, Taya the last 3 years without probs. On wednesday, october 19, 22, I was flying to my nieces wedding in Wisconsin, actually flying in to Rockford, Ill and had car rental.

Boarded the plane, in sanford, fl, Taya in carriage, got to seat, open seats on both sides of us, Taya started struggling trying to get out of carriage I took her out, plane still stationary and boarding, administered some liquid melatonin stewardess got her some water. put taya back in carriage she was settled for a few minutes, plane still stationary.

I flew to Rockford Il to Mesa AZ 0n Oct 3rd with my dog. There was no problem. I went to the airport in Mesa to fly home Oct. 17 and was told the same dog and bag would not be allowed on plane.

I was turned away at the counter with no way to return home and no alternative and it was insinuated that I was lying about my fight to Mesa. As I’m be turned away at counter I asked for my checked bag back and they said no.

Didn’t even try to retrieve the bag. Now I don’t know how I don’t know how I will get home after Allegiant let me get here and I will have to drive an hour to pick up my bag of gets back here with all my belongings.

ON FRIDAY AUG 5, 2022 I WAS ON FLIGHT NUMBER 171 FROM SANTA MARIA CALIFORNIA TO LAS VEGAS NEVADA. THE FLIGHT WAS OVER 3 HOURS DELAYED AND WE WERE NEVER TOLD WHY. AFTER BOARDING THE PLANE, WE SAT AND SAT AGAIN NOT TOLD WHY BEFORE DEPARTING.

My wife and I had reservations on Allegiant round trip from Asheville to Sarasota, departing March 5, flight 506 and returning March 12, flight 426, including car rental reservation (confirmation # BJZCVR), AND REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE #1655722.

On March 3rd my wife fell and broke her leg. Soon thereafter I began a long and fruitless effort to contact Allegiant, beginning March to cancel our flights and our car reservation. Your messages instructed me to call 702-505-8888, which I did with great frequency over the next two weeks, always busy. And no replies from my on line requests for assistance. The worst airline!! My sister was stuck in Florida for an extra 5 days, because allegiant cancelled their flight for no reason. She will be missing school because of this! They only gave her $100 for accommodation which is ridiculous.

I traveled from Phoenix Mesa Gatwick Airport on December 19th and returned January 1. I have flown with Allegiant for years and although there have been many issues mostly with late planes and recently two canceled flights (which has wasted many hours of my time), I have never complained. I paid to fly seven of my friends to see me this last year alone.

Previously, I traveled with my two cats on Allegiant from Idaho to Phoenix without issue. On December 19 using the same carrier, same cats, I checked in my baggage and cats, went through the private screening with TSA and scanned my ticket with an attendant before getting on the plane. What took place once I was in the doorway of the plane is inexcusable.

Allegiant canceled my flights because they had stopped service from my home airport for the season. Did not receive a refund even though it states you will get one. Received travel voucher numbers instead.

I am trying to receive a refund. Phone contact has been impossible: constant busy signal until 12AM when the automated system told me wait was over 2 hrs. This has been going on for days.

Repeated emails have only received automated responses, “ Thank you for contacting us”

I booked 2 tickets to Las Vegas from Des Moines and purchased (without intent but due to their silly website guidance) Allegiant’s “flex” option for these tickets. My plans changed, and it was very difficult to cancel this reservation. I even spent an hour with their agent at the airport, and she got frustrated and finally gave up.

Just today, I was able to cancel this booking, only to discover that there was no REFUND but rather a voucher for future travel which deducted ONE-THIRD of the amount I paid. Allegiant Air is awful. I will never fly Allegiant again

How hard is this simple math problem? There are 100 seats on a plane, how many tickets can be sold? IT IS NOT 110!! Allegiant...this is bad service!!! It is not cool holding everyone hostage until enough people give in to your ridiculous offers. I'm not a genius and this simple math proves your CEOs aren't either. My husband and 2 grandchildren paid for seats in row 2 of Allegiant airlines. When we got onboard, we discovered there was no row one and row 2 was considered an exit row. When we selected the seats for children, we had to enter birthdates.

After being seated for 20 minutes, The boarding agent came on the plane and very rudely told us we had to move to seats further back in the plane. It was 2 of us with rhe 2 children so ahe rudely said to us well one of you have to move back with the children.

Which one of you want to move and then she told the children take your belts off and proceeded to touch the youngest one on the back to take her back to the seat before my husband or I decided who would move back of even has our seatbelt unhooked. My husband is disabled and has wheelchair…

On a flight from Eugene, OR to Oakland, CA, my bag went missing. Immediately filed a delayed baggage form at the Allegiant desk at Oakland 2 days ago and haven't heard a thing. Called Eugene Airport and no one picked up the phone at the Allegiant desk, but got someone from American Airlines who checked the baggage area for me. Nothing found.

No one at Oakland has any information and apparently no one in Eugene does either. Where is my bag??? How incompetent do you have to be to lose a bag on a direct, non-stop flight???? Two days without my clothes, toiletries and personal stuff, I'm now forced to wear my brother's clothes and shoes, and my mom had to buy me a shirt at Costco!! DO BETTER, ALLEGIANT!!!!!

Since I came from Northern Iowa to take this flight I was well on my way to the airport before the Delays in that flight began eventually the flight left about 9:30 PM which is seven hours after the time it was supposed to have left. Then to make things even worse the area of the terminal that we were waiting in had only two electrical outlets which made it impossible to get your cell phone recharged.

There was no food being offered in this area. Our only alternative was to go back through security walk over to Southwest Airlines go through Southwest airlines security get your food go back out of SW walk back to allegiant go through allegiant terminal security again and then you could have some food.

Well, I didn't fly with them. Had to cancel our flight because the travel advisory issued with COVID-19. On March 13th, tried to call them at their toll free # to advise we had to cancel and to ask for a credit voucher in return.

Tried for about 8 hours and the line was always busy. I then decided to send an email thru the link on their website. I received an auto-reply that someone would contact me. Two weeks later, still nothing. On March 29th, I sent another e-mail, still no reply.

The last two days I spent 4 hours trying to get thru on the phone with them. This time, I got thru but was continuously on hold. Instead of their recording telling us how long the wait would be, I kept listening to all the repeated advertising they have.

I have tried to contact Allegiant Air for two weeks to cancel flights and a rental car. When I go to the “manage my flight” section on their website, and click on the change flight or cancel flight option, I receive a box saying I must call a phone number.

When I call the phone number it only rings busy. It is unbelievable to me that this airline refuses to allow customers to contact them during the coronavirus outbreak to resolve flight issues. I am almost 60 years old and now am faced with having to drive to the airport during a pandemic lock down to try to find someone to handle this issue.

To anyone thinking about using this airline in the future please reconsider.
