Good morning, I have been wanting to email you sooner, but my schedule wouldn't allow it. I was a passenger on your airlines on July 31st. I was leaving Dallas at 7:50pm, pre boarding and was supposed to arrive in Detroit at 11:30pm.

I came to airport early, due to security and was rudely ask to push my bag through the scanners at Dallas airport, even though, he was standing doing nothing. (guess that must be my job, yet not sure why he was employed.

My ticket showed that I should be at Gate 28, to get my seats, even though they were pre ordered while ordering tickets. Guess that was a waste of my time and energy. Once a approached the gate the ticket guy was VERY RUDE and I noticed that the sign said New jersey 7:45 boarding.

I politely went up and ask if Detroit was still at this gate…

I booked a flight for Christmas at 487.70 Total. The confirming email was very late--I never checked it. I didn't realize it was wrong until I received the pre-flight check-in notification one week after I booked the flight for Christmas. The dates were 10 days apart. The flight the reservation system booked for me was one week later for a short 2 day flight. I booked the car rental from the AA website that populated the dates automatically to match the flight days correctly for Christmas. I have the confirming email for the car rental. I explained this but All I got was "the system say's you booked the two day flight at that price one week before the flight". There are no deals that good for a flight one week before for two days at that distance but it fell on deaf ears.

Here's a complaint. 6 weeks ago Gail and I were heading for Maui when American Airlines cancelled our flight out of Dallas. The next day we flew out, but this time they put us in Economy instead of the $1033 more we had paid for first class.

Here's the thing: Despite 3 emails and the travel agent's efforts, they have not refunded us that money or even answered us. For a retired teacher and a teacher's aide, $1033 is a lot of money. If you can, avoid AA.

They are always late, frequently cancelled and darned hard to get them to pay up on refunds. American Airlines just plain stinks!

my husband was to take off from Philadelphia to Cleveland yesterday around 5pm, was told to get a hotel room and that his baggage with his medications for blood pressure and GERD were on a plane to Cleveland but he and his friend traveling on business had to wait because the plane needed some work done to it.

they went to hotel and came back today, Thursday, still at airport in Philadelphia and still not given plans to when they will be getting out of there, so that means extra money spent on food at the airport and a night stay at a motel and probably payment to get from airport to a motel.

this whole this is upsetting and worse fact is that he went to motel without his 1 luggage that had his daily medications in it. Anything happens to him with his health and his blood pressure rising…

I flew with my daughter and family to the Cayman Island on July 30th and returned on August 8th. The flight there was great . they were there with a wheel chair each time we got off the planes. But on the way back it was totally different.

I had asked have a wheel chair when we landed in Charlotte NC and St Louis but that did not happen. I have lower back issue and can't walk that far. I was really disappointed because it left me in a lot of pain.

Nadine the flight attendant (flight 5649) scolded my child and shamed him because she thought he was intentionally kicking a passenger’s seat. Actually he was taking off his shoes and bumped the chair. Regardless, after Nadine finished humiliating my 7-year old, my son in tears apologized to the passenger and the passenger had NO clue what he was talking about.

I summoned the lead flight attendant who was very nice and I explained what occurred. After humiliating my son, Nadine had the nerve to return and make eye contact with my son at which time, I stopped her and nicely explained that she should have NEVER addressed my son in that manner, especially since I was sitting with him.

Since the TSA gate did not open until 345am, I did not check my bag, I assumed that it was ok, my flight is to board at 445am, I did not want to be late. When I approached John F.

at the Gate entry and explained that I wished to check my bag- he repeatedly sighed as if I was an inconvenience to him. Last time I checked American Airlines was providing a service to me and I was paying this guys salary.

I did not come to the airport early to be insulted. I am sure that this has happened before- many times. So where does John F get off being rude. IfI could react with half a star I would. Thank you

When I purchased my tickets, because I am disabled, I asked for a seat closer to the front because I'm on crutches. I was told I could not be helped at that time, but someone from the disability area would call me a few days before the flight to help with better seats. No one called and when I called, I was only offered seats in the middle or a few rows back. I asked if I fall trying to maneuver what will you people say. I could have gotten better seats but AA dropped the ball. When I asked if I could change my flight, I was told yes, but I would have to purchase a new ticket.

Even though AA didn't help, the offered to carry me back to my seat in a wheel chair, which I find so humiliating. Of course the seats in the front were available tto purchase, but I could not be accommodated.…

Flight AA296 was delayed due to mechanical problem. I therefore missed my flight from Miami to Kingston. The purpose of my visit was to,attend my sister's funeral planned for 27 July. 25pm This arrival time would have facilitated my arrival to the funeral director's office with the outfit required for the viewing of my deceased sister's body on 26 July.

In total my arrival into Kingston was delayed by over 7 hours.

Furthermore extra travelling costs were incurred as further arrangements were necessary to meet flight 1082. I was traveling on American Airlines on Wednesday July 6th 2016. I arrived at the Dallas Fort Worth airport at 12:45pm traveling on flight #463 to Charlotte, North Carolina which was suppose to leave at 2:32pm but was delayed to 2:55pm. That really didn't bother me much but my return flight to Dallas Fort Worth is where it all started. I was returning on Sunday July 10th on flight #721 when it all started to unravel. I arrived at the Douglas Airport in Charlotte, NC at 4:00 pm for my flight back to DFW flight #721 leaving at 5:40pm.

Arrived 3 hours early, checked in, terminal belt went down. Was sent to a new terminal, made to stand in two more lines just to be told they could not help us. When we finally got to someone and we were advised that the bags would not make it and we would be rescheduled for departure the next day.

Meaning I lose on time, paid time off work, the money I spent for tonight's hotel, and the activity scheduled bc it has a 24 hour cancellation policy. This is completely unacceptable! I will wait for a response to this complaint.

My Letter to VP of Flight Operations: "Hi Mr. Stone, Thank you for accepting my request. On Sunday June 12 I was scheduled to fly out of DFW to RDU at 6:30 PM. DFW had canceled several flights to to sever weather.

I understand that, but what happened afterwards has left me wondering if I should book future flights with AA. After arriving in DFW , I immediately located a boarding agent and requested a seat on the next flight to RDU.

I have flown on AA for he last twenty years. June 12th 2016 we experienced bad weather this is no ones fault.

However, Sitting on the runway for approximately 2 hours inflamed my Fibromyalgia causing me sever nerve pain, my medication was left on the plane and I didn't get it until the next day June 13th around 11:00. No one seemed to care about my pain and discomfort except for Mr.

Duke a kind and caring agent working the night of June 12th. I am extremely disappointed in the poor service, lack of communication and organization between employees throughout AA and the poor attitudes of most of the employees.

I had a flight scheduled to leave Norfolk, Virginia, on June 3, 2016, at 11:40. The flight number was 5427. The flight was delayed for 2 hours as we sat on the runway. We missed the connecting flight because of the delay and the next flight was scheduled to leave 3 hours later. After sitting in the airport for the 3 hours, the next plane, flight number 2073, was once again delayed for another 2 hours. Once again we ended up sitting on the runway for 2 hours. I arrived in New York after 9:00pm. I had tickets to a Broadway play, which I missed.

Louis to Miami suppose to leave at 9:30 had a 1 hr 30 min lay turned in to departing at 12:30 am but then 4 stewards arrived and demanded from clerk that they did not have supper so we had to wait for them another hour so we departed at 1:15 am.

It is a 35 minute trip to Tampa, and they said that was the end of their day. they could have waited like the rest of 150 people standing & waiting. When they did arrive back on the plane, we got nothing to eat or drink I guess they were full.

Never seen none of them till we got off plane. Great trip first time used American airline. I thought I was the customer guess I was wrong. Hope to hear from you.

I complained but received no action other than your receipt of my complaint. You have all the details. I paid for first class accommodations and was told that they could give me a simple egg omelet for my breakfast because they didn't have enough.

On 29th April 2016 I and 4 members of my project team flew on Business Class from Trinidad to Milan, Italy via Miami (AA 2282 to Miami and AA 206 to Milan). The flight went well and without a hitch.

We were due to return on 05 May 2016 to Miami (AA 207) and then to Trinidad on AA 2551.

AA 207 was scheduled to leave Milan at 11:15 a.m., however the flight was delayed and we eventually left at about 3:10 p.m.

This delay resulted in us missing our Trinidad connection which was due to depart Miami at 6:02 p.m. Recognizing this we asked to be put on the next available flight to Trinidad the following day. Delayed baggage, went to office at airport to complain lady give me a piece of paper tell me to go get what I need since they could not locate baggage. I had to spend money to have a driver take me to a mall.

I am a 71 year old woman who was traveling alone on flight aa5414 from Portland Maine to Sarasota . There was an announcement that the plane was having trouble so would be delayed. Then another announcement that everything was all set and we boarded the plane.

I planned a trip to Fort Lauderdale Florida, through Expedia I paid for a round trip ticket from Cincinnati, When I arrived at the airport in Fort Lauderdale for my return trip (1 1/2 early) I was told that my flight had left early that morning despite the fact that I had an itinerary in my had stating a departure time 5:40pm (IN MY HAND). I was told to contact Expedia, I told them regardless I had paid for a round trip fare.

I was flying AA first class March 15, 2016 flight 1204 San Jose Costa Rica to Miami seat 4B, final destination LAG New York, while everyone had their choice of a breakfast egg omelet or pancakes. When I stated that I preferred the egg omelet I was denied my choice because they only had a limited amount of omelet plates.

I don't eat pancakes so AA staff had nothing to give me for breakfast even though I had paid for a round trip international first class ticket. The flight attendants were sympathetic with my plight and urged me to contact AA headquarters because it was ridiculous.

In checking our flight reservations to fly from Boston to Miami, we learned that our reservations had been cancelled. Upon inquiry by our travel agent, she was told that our reservations were cancelled by a "third party," but airline did not know who that third party was.

Mesa airlines is continually having problems with on time departures due to broke aircraft. I have to use them for business due to the areas that I fly into. I have been a loyal advantage member but the most recent problem here in DFW with flight 5829 on 21 April is possibly the worst.

We set on the aircraft for an hour with s known broken aircraft from the previous flight.

I called AA on 3/27/16 to ask a question about my passport after I tried to check in on-line and was unsuccessful. While I was on the line with the agent I asked, no less than three times, whether or not the first bag was free on an international flight.

I pointed out that I was flying from Missouri in the US to Mexico. I was told that the first bag would be free each of the three times I asked. " I pointed out that the website made it look like there may be a charge, but it stated that there were exceptions.

Over and over she told me that the first bag would be free. When we arrived at the airport we were charged! So, there went a chunk of our vacation spending money! AA needs to better train the people that answer the phone.

When I arrived to LAX airport the ticket agent with American airlines American Airlines flights 1588-from lax, & flight 1397 from Miami to Montego Bay didn't see my reservation that was booked through Travelocity firstly. Once retrieved I was questioned several times of having multiple bookings ok the info was retrieved. Secondly the counter attendant didn't give me a connecting flight to my final destination in which it was paid for (3rd Mistake).

Our flight left at 6:05am Saturday April 2nd. As instructed we arrived at the airport 2hrs ahead of our flight. Because of the security having a insane long line, I asked an American Agent passing by that we were concerned that we would miss our flight. He looked at my ticket and assured me we would be ok. My daughter booked a flight from ORD to San Antonio to surprise her brother during graduation from basic. We went to pick her up at the airport only to learn that her flight has been delayed by an hour and a half, arriving now after midnight, because a crew member was late.

I made a reservation last June to go see a friend on Corpus Christi TX. My friend became ill so I had to cancel my trip. I called AA and was told by a representative that my ticket was non-refundable and non-transferable.

Which I totally understood and accepted. I cancelled my trip by phone talking to a AA rep. 00 towards another ticket. When I called to check on it this week I wanted to use it in June I was told I was a no show for the flight so therefore my ticket was no longer valid.

I made the call to cancel 1-2 days before the departure date which I believe was June 15 or June 16. I was assured everything was fine since I had called and freed up a seat for someone else to use.

Now they tell me no. I did my part, but apparently someone else did not record it properly. Would you…

I booked a round trip ticket from DFW TO MSP to fly on 3-13-16 & return on 3-14-16, but could not check in because they had put Caroline instead of Carolyn (Record Locator: YQAXXE) so I called AA. She said no problem that she would fix it in a short time, so I was able to check in & went to airport through TSA with no problem.

However, When I went to check in at MSP for my return flight, I couldn't & again called help desk at AA. They said my name was wrong on the ticket and I had to go to the airport to get it fixed. After working all day had to go to the MSP airport, they told me they couldn't fix it because the ticket had been issued wrong. She wrote a long note on my previous boarding pass and also on the computer. She said with this the next day TSA would help me go through security.…
