00 to ensure that my husband seating would be correct; all was great going to San Diego, however on the longest leg of the trip coming back from San Diego to Philadelphia. My husband who is 6ft. 3in. tall and was placed in a middle seat.

I tried several times to get this corrected before boarding but each attendant suggested that I wait and speak to the agent at the gate. Once we got to the gate, they informed us there was nothing that they could do because all seats were full.

This information was false, as well. I called the 800 number and they stated that they had one seat remaining, but because the agent at the gate had checked him in, she would not be able to change the seating.

My husband and I experienced a problem going back home to Charlotte from St. Martin on August 12th. The check in machines were down and there was no one around to help get our tickets to go back home. We asked for help at the American Airlines service desk and she said that she couldn't leave here post.

We arrived in plenty of time to catch the flight. We didn't have any bags to check since we traveled with only a backpack. We finally got in a line with others with checked baggage hoping that someone around would help us.

ON 8/27/2017 WE HAD TICKETS ON AA TO FLY FROM ROME TO LOS ANGELES VIA DALLAS. AT THE ROME AIRPORT WHEN WE CHECKED IN WE WERE TOLD THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO FLY TO LOS ANGELES TO VIA CHARLOTTE. WHEN WE GOT TO CHARLOTTE ABOUT 1 AND 1HALF HOURS LATE FROM ROME AND RAN HUNDREDS OF YARDS TO A DISTANT TERMINAL THE PLANE HAD NOT YET TAKEN OFF BUT WE WERE DENIED BOARDING (BOARDING TIME WAS 5:20 AND WE GOT THERE AT 5:12).

My wife Jacqueline A Shields, travelled from Cleveland, OH to Sioux Falls, SD on Saturday August 26, 2017 with a plane change in Chicago. We had submitted an electronic request for a wheel chair assistance getting off and on the plane in Cleveland, Chicago and Sioux falls as a result of a total knee replacement 3-1/2 months ago which limits her mobility and

causes her pain if she has to walk a great distance. I was booked on flight from Greenville,SC to Seattle,WA via Charlotte (Flights AA 5117 and 443 on August 26th, 2017). When I got to the main passenger ticketing area, there weren't many people there, and I was called up quickly.

I was told to use the computer screen, but was unable to find the number required from the paperwork given me by Clemson University. When I asked the attendant to help me, she said " I don't really like reading", and stood there.

The other woman behind the counter laughed. It was left to another customer to help me, and she determined that I hadn't been given the complete paperwork. Eventually they found me, and when handed my ticket, I asked the gate number. No answer.

I recently flew from Madrid to Dallas on July 1, 2017 on flight #207 On the flight back, my entertainment did not work. The flight attendants had to have known there was a problem, because the flight had arrived from another city.

They kept telling me it would come on after they reset it. All of the monitors around me worked but mine. I didn't even bring a book because I had planned to watch a few movies on the way back.

This was just not acceptable, especially since that is part of the offerings on any decent airlines these days and expected. I would like to have some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. The flight attendants were not much help and said to just send a complaint once I got home.

I fly from Harrisburg, PA or BWI every other week to Mobile, AL. The last three flights have had issues with getting me to Mobile on the same day I fly. The latest was on August 3 when my flight from Charolette was cancelled due to no crew but only after a 3 hour delay.

Spent the night in a dirty room and was offered 7500 miles by agent. I feel this inconvenience is worth more than 7500 miles, more like 20,000 miles.

On a flight from Flg. AZ. no pilot scheduled. Missed connecting flight in Phoenix. Was rebooked on a flight next morning it was delayed 5 hours. Never did get to SA,TX. Made it as far as Austin on 8/6. Still no luggage.

Bought two tickets with added insurance for about $300 each. Cancelled tickets 6 months before flight (due to job loss) with plans of using the $600 credit for a different flight before starting new job. Was not told at the time of cancellation that $400 of my $600 would be charged in reschedule fees.

$400 to reschedule $600 of tickets? I can see why the cancellation fee is not mentioned a the time of cancellation. At that point they have me for $1000 and plenty of time to re-sell the original tickets. What a racket.

It is really hard to express my feelings in a brief form. I recently traveled from Cuba to Miami.

First the pilots windshield cracked right before his eyes. After 3 hours wait, we switched planes. In short, we sat in the plane on the tarmac for 5 1/2 hours before we were allowed to take off. Supposedly, Customs and our passenger count were off by 18 people. Really, 18 people?

One small bottle of water and one cookie to each passenger in 5 1/2 hours! The stewards/attendants all hid behind their curtains. Thank goodness for the pilot who kept the passengers informed. When we finally flew, the video equipment only worked on one side.

The other bank had a couple of screens that went up and down the entire time. Very alarming, as it made us feel that there is electrical issues with the plane…

I want to start off by saying I don't normally do this sort of thing, but on my flight this morning Flight 1969 heading to ORD at 8:00 am from PHX, first off my bag had to be checked. Not due to size, I am on a business trip & my bag has my company material which I needed to study over the long flight well in the process of checking my bag I was given someone else claim ticket, so

I flew into Miami 29 Oct. Flight 5049. One layover in Charlotte. No problem. On my return on flight AA 238 prior to boarding & 0n the ramp a female airline employee took some of our carry on luggage saying we could pick it up in Baltimore( my luggage was size appropriate and there was space).

On arrival to Washington Reagan, announcement was made that our luggage could be retrieved at carrousel 11 in the baggage depart. I thought it would be on the ramp. She never asked who had connecting flights! This left me 20+ min.

To RUN to baggage claim retrieve my bag go thru the lines again and get to my next gate to board flight 5188 to Akron Canton. There were no other flights out according to your cust. Service person. I was ill with flu symptoms and very inconvenienced.

I was scheduled to fly out on Wednesday November 2, 2016 flight 4755 to Indianapolis. I got to the airport and the flight was delayed until 4:30pm, not a big deal. We were then allowed on the flight and literally sat on the plane for a good hour before we were told that plane had to much weight and they were fixing it.

Then we sat on the runway for another 45 minutes and were told the crews time ran out. I was booked on a 8:04pm flight that didn't have a crew and waited for them to arrive which got me to Indianapolis at 1:00am.

Took all day for a 30 minute flight. My issue is that I tried to get on a flight for the next day instead of hanging at the airport all day but was told no or I could purchase a new ticket.

I am very disappointed on on my flight to Las Vegas and on my return flight back to San Antonio. The stewardesses were extremely rude on 3 out of four of my flights on this trip not to mention the delays were horrible.

On the 21 of October 2016 my husband and I were notified that our flight with Spirit Airlines was cancelled. It was to depart at 11:45 for Myrtle Beach SC. There were no other flights to Myrtle Beach until the next day.

My husband decided to try American Airlines. When he got to the counter, after a long wait, he found out that there were 2 seats on an early flight to Wilmington, NC where we lived. 00 for two one way tickets.

He declined those seats and was able to get two seats on a flight at 2:30 pm (flight4577). 20. A round trip for 2 people would have cost about the same. I know that you did not cause the problem but you took advantage of the problem and over charged us and probably other people.

I had to purchase a last minute flight for my daughter due to her father in the last few hours of his life. As it is this is a very stressful time in any persons life a they are losing a loved one that was not expected.

She got to the airport in time to catch the flight but was told that she missed the flight and had to reschedule for the following flight. She waited for the next flight only to be held on the flight for 40 minutes almost missing the connecting flight to her destination.

My flight from hell started in Charlotte from Memphis. Every one boarded the airplane with the expectation of catching the next flight. Unfortunately that not how it went. The passengers were told that there were no working toilets, and was told they would fix the problem soon, one hour and forty-five minutes later we were told that we had to board another plane.

Flight #2257 on October 8,2016 : Our flight was cancelled/ "Delayed" because a maintenance Man never came with THE ONE QUART OF OIL requested, which caused the Flight Crew to have to leave after their Twelve hours work overload. This caused us to have to stay overnight.

We were put up in the Hilton overnight. Given $25 ( total for two people) to eat a dinner and $14( total for two people) to eat Breakfast; which was $14 PER PERSON!! This had the worst flying experience of my life. My first time flying American and my last. I would not take a free flight from this airline. I was delayed. Missed my connecting flight. Had to stand in line over two hours with one agent and over 30 people to get hotel accommodations. Had four hours sleep.

All to get to the flight and sit on the runway for over an hour. Get home no luggage. Call them my luggage is sitting there to be delivered. No delivery as of yet! Worst airline ever!!!

The last 2 times flying with American Airlines, back to the USA and back to China, I've set in the same seat. Well, this flight coming back to China I was seating in my husbands seat. But, anyway, The seat is 10D, on flight AA 127.

The audio port has a problem. When you first start listening all is good. But, after awhile the volume booms. You turn it down, works for awhile, then it will boom again. Kills your ears! On the first flight I thought it might be my headset.

So I got a new set and coming back to China setting in my husbands set it still doing the same thing. I had mentioned this to a cabin crew but she didn't do anything about it problem. Which I'm sure needs a tech person to fix it.

Fight from Las Vegas to Chicago on to Traverse City Mi was poorly handled by American airline. Costing us 8 hours of wasted time, $60 in additional costs and missed activities at our final destination. Flight 2562 from Las Vegas to Traverse City touched down early on the runway at O'Hare airport. We were told by the captain, twice, that we would get to the gate early. However, due to excess traffic we were left in the "airplane parking lot" for a length of time. We circled into the gate area only to go back to the parking lot.

Charging extra money for seats on flights is a bad practice. No other airlines that I have dealt with charges extra for selecting seats online or charges if you talk to a representative and are charged $50 per seat. I forgot that you charge for seats and that seems to be only since my last flight so I forgot on this flight this week.

I had a later flight but changed it to 1722 to make sure we would make the connection which went well. The problem came when we went to get 5163 in CLT. We waited over 40 minutes and then waited over an hour on the run way.

Five years ago, I had surgery for an Acoustic Neuroma. Shortly before then, I bought a bathing suit ensemble. I wore this ensemble less than six times because I was unable to swim. I flew on American Airlines on July 2, 2016 to Baltimore with a stop over in Phoenix.

I informed them as soon as I returned home on July 9. Brandon, one of their staff, helped me fill out a long AA form. I also filed a police report on July 12. I paid approximately $600. originally. To replace this suit, it would cost approximately $1000.

I had to resort to my homeowner's insurance which was only able to cover less than half the replacement cost. I have been informed by AA they can do nothing about this because I cannot produce an original receipt. Apparently, people now fly at their own risk.

Again I am experiencing an unacceptable issue with American Airlines. On 9/22/16 pm I booked a flight from Detroit to Montgomery Al I input information to use a voucher for $100 I received in July for an issue. 20. 20.

I called the morning of 9/23 between 10 & 10:30 the rep told me the only thing they could do was for me to cancel & rebook & it would take approx. 10 days for the funds to be refunded to my card.

I flew on AA 135 from London to LAX on Aug. 29th. (ticket code:1 001 2379856301 4). The flight attendants went through the plane delivering the "special request vegetarian meals". Next, they delivered meals to everyone else. When they got to me, the chicken meal was all gone and I was stuck with a vegetarian meal that I did not request or want. It was a pile of overcooked spinach and rice with a tiny bit of veg. sauce to one side of the rice. I left it and ate the tiny salad and roll. I feel American Airlines corporate office owes me some kind of reimbursement. At least a meal voucher for a domestic flight with no expiration date. I have been a loyal Airlines customer and even have the AA Citi Advantage credit card.

My daughter was on a flight on Thursday 9/15/2016 from Nashville, TN to Houston, TX with a stop in Dallas, TX. Her flight number was 2259 & 2368. Her flight was late taking off from Nashville due to weather in Dallas. Upon landing in Dallas she was told by her flight attendant that she would be fine, her connecting flight was still at the gate. Upon departing the plane she asked an American Airlines employee to please radio the gate and let them know she was on her way, again she was told not to worry her flight was still at the gate, which it was. Upon reaching the gate my daughter was told that they didn't think she was going to make it so they had given her seat to someone else.

At this time the gate was not closed and people were still boarding. This was the last flight out of Dallas…

On September 9,2016 I was booked for travel on flight 4412 from New York to Atlanta schuelud to leave at 11:29 am on American Airlines. I arrived at the airport at approximately 9:30 am. I used the sidewalk check in and was advised to go to gate C39.

Once I arrived at gate C39 there was no further information given. At approximately 10:45 am, I wondered why the call signs were not changed and inquired as to my flight. At this time a series of wrong information was given.

I was informed that I was at the wrong gate, and that I should take a shuttle to another terminal and go to gate C10. Once I arrived there I was informed that the flight was going to Dallas and that I Missed my flight.

The clerk then informed me that I was in the correct terminal prior to taken the shuttle. I now missed…

This is my third email I have sent you. Thurs the 8th of Sept I flew from nwaairport to Charlotte. Sun 11 sept I flew from Lexington ky to Chicago. The guy on the desk appologised and gave me vouchers for hotel and meals.

I went outside and was pointed to a row of taxis and told any one would work. I got in the taxi, and was told we don't accept vouchers only cash. I asked how much, I was told $50. I had to give him my debit card, I could not afford to but had no choice.

I got to the hotel. She gave me a menu the voucher was for $12 a sandwich on the menu was $12 95. and I would have to pay to have it deliverer. so I didn't use it. I got to the airport at 6 45.

I didn't get to use my other voucher. I had to pay an extra day in the airport at xna. I am 76 yrs old I was stressed and tired…

To celebrate three special birthdays six of us have booked a holiday in NYC. According to American Airlines check in it seems that we are unable to reserve six seats together on the plane NUNRIF leaving Manchester Airport UK on 29 November at 10.15. We have been told that we will have to pay £97 extra each to reserve seats together. Further research reveals that AA reserve seats for frequent travellers leaving passengers like us unable to book seats together and the seating plan for this flight shows six seats available scattered all over the plane in economy.

We would be grateful if you could enable us to book our seats together on this flight.

On August 19, 2016, my family of four were sitting on flight 253 (Confirmation #HUROKR) to Hawaii, Maui in LAX for 3 hours unable to take off because the plane had a mechanical problem and was able to take off on time. We sat in the plane unable to get something to eat. We were told several times from the pilot that he did not have the authority to let us leave and had no exact time when our plane would take off to Hawaii. It was miserable not being able to get food. We did not get offer water or even alone snacks.

A lunch from American Airlines would have been the appropriate thing to do for a full plane. My family and I would like to request a minimal check to take the family to a nice lunch. Maybe a check of $150.00 dollars to cover the suffering and waiting. We paid a total of $3,500…

I am not a person who normally complains because life is just too short, however this should be brought to your attention. This is in reference to a recent flight #AA1463 I took from Chicago O’Hare to Ft. Lauderdale on August 11th. I understand that the plane is going to be warm until we take off but this flight was unbearable for the first 20 minutes. The air was barely coming thru the vents; lots of people were complaining. They apologize and asked us to open the vents all the way however the air was barely coming thru. I took the first flight out so it should have not been this warm. My flight going to Chicago was in the morning and was nowhere as warm as this one and the vents were fine.

On August 2, my family flew on AA Flight 530 from Seattle and experienced a layover in Philadelphia. We arrived at 6:06 AM on the morning of August 3 and made our way to our connecting flight 4855. A delay was explained as bad weather in Albany, NY. We checked and the ceiling in Albany was 12,000 feet. Then we were told of another delay. After waiting more time, we were told unceremoniously that the flight to Albany was cancelled. We could be wait-listed for the 9 PM flight that night.

Good morning, I have been wanting to email you sooner, but my schedule wouldn't allow it. I was a passenger on your airlines on July 31st. I was leaving Dallas at 7:50pm, pre boarding and was supposed to arrive in Detroit at 11:30pm.

I came to airport early, due to security and was rudely ask to push my bag through the scanners at Dallas airport, even though, he was standing doing nothing. (guess that must be my job, yet not sure why he was employed.

My ticket showed that I should be at Gate 28, to get my seats, even though they were pre ordered while ordering tickets. Guess that was a waste of my time and energy. Once a approached the gate the ticket guy was VERY RUDE and I noticed that the sign said New jersey 7:45 boarding.
