Ashley Williams should be fired by American Home Shield. I requested air-conditioning unit be fixed May 1, 2021. Company placed 2 compressors in unit and cannot get it to work. Yesterday, Ashley email and stated they would put in today.

Tech came and tried to fix new one in unit and it would turn on but cool a little and later turned hot. This appointment today she set up without my knowledge and I had a doctor's appointment for the heat and stress.

She now states they will come tomorrow and put compressor in unit. This is the 3rd one and she made another appointment without my knowledge. I was able to get an appointment for tomorrow and blames the company for stating they discussed same with no.

I was promised a new dishwasher for my home from American Home Shield last May. They indicated that I would need to wait until mid July to get one which was back ordered. Calling mid July to follow up why I haven't heard anything, AMS indicated it would now be until mid August to get one.

Am I going to call back Mid August and have someone from AMS tell me it will be Mid September before getting one??? NO! I have been patient long enough. I asked to speak to a manager and was promised that one would call me within the hour.

Two hours later I called again because no manager followed up to speak to me; but was met with rigid talk that wanted me to start the whole issue over again. Does AMS care? They are quick to take my policy money each month but will not follow up on a legit…

Water damage on ceiling 14 Jul 2012 - Called American Home Shield and reported a leak in ceiling/was assigned United Air Temp 16 Jul 2021 - United Air Temp (Mr. Walter) came and stated no problem with the AC units believed it was the flues.

I said what is that he said that is from the roof and not to worry because he was going to email me the report. To date no report. 16 Jul 2021 - Called Best Choice Roofing (Mr. Jake) came and checked the roof inside and outside.

He texted me the following information. "I inspected the flues/furnace vents on your roof and saw no signs of damage causing a leak. " 16 Jul 2021 - Called AHS to report that it is not the roof and needed the AC units rechecked.

AHS has not approved my part to get my AC fixed. I have been with this company 15 yrs. I’ve been without AC for nearly three weeks in Florida in July, due to the failure to process my request and inadequate service providers. No supervisor call backs.

Every call they say 24-48 hrs. Customer service is absolutely no help.

Our LG washing machine wasn't working properly so I called AHS for Tech to come in last week on Thursday. I was told the contractor would call me for an appointment and I was never never been contacted. I called AHS this morning for status.

The customer service told me that my call has never gone to to any technician . I got very frustrated and very mad because AHS has raised their monthly prices without notice. They should have let me know by e mail or by letter.

On top of this, AHS does NOT care about their customers if they wait without them knowing if the technicians have been notified or not. I have talked to my next door neighbor. They have filed a complaint also about AHS.

We will be cancelling our contracts very soon.

We requested service for our a/c on 06/23/21 and have yet to get our issue resolved. We feel as if we’re being mistreated at every turn. We’ve been hung up on by a supervisor and a rep. We’ve had to initiate almost every phone call when we were told that they would call or email us.

I have been trying for 2 months to get the AC at my rental home repaired. It's been 90-105 degrees here, and my tenants are beyond upset, and so am I. AHS apparently contract with only one HVAC company in my area, and they (Lam-Air) are just as bad and dishonest as AHS.

They sent a tech out in December 2020 when the heating part of the unit was rattling and making funny noises; instead of recharging/repairing, tech said the wrong filter was in there, or some such thing that made no difference when changed. Then, when AC wasn't working well in May 2021, I called and finally got an appt.

I have been trying to contact a supervisor and none is available for a week. I have been calling and trying to talk with a supervisor one or two times a day for the last week and none is available.

These nice customer service people stall and pretend to contact a supervisor and tell me at the end that I will get a call back. They are doing what they are told and thinks are very difficult for them working from home and all.

I had a call and then I called back and they offered me a cash out (time sensitive) but I need to talk to a supervisor prior to making a decision and they know this but no call back. Everyone of these customer service people that I have talked with said that I get a call back and haven't but it is only been a week.

I paid almost $700 for one year of the Shield Complete home warranty with AHS. I have two separate service requests for my residence and paid $ 100 for each request. That was 7 business days ago. AHS now tells me they cannot find any company to fix my problems and for me to find someone myself, get the work done, pay them and send AHS the invoice and AHS will reimburse me.

Since AHS is unable to find someone I requested a refund of my $100 each. They refuse to reimburse me. I have called AHS everyday and several different phone numbers and I have yet to talk with someone who can speak clear English.

Horrible customer service. They send out the lowest bidder. Our AC compressors has gone out 3 times in a year and a half. It takes them weeks to approve the work. When AHS makes the mistakes, the customers is the one that takes the blunt of it.

Meaning they don’t get the problem resolved. You never can speak with a manager or supervisor. By far, the worst company or organization I’ve had the mispleasure of dealing with.

I requested for an HVAC to come in on June 29th. They sent a contractor (Yadz Mechanical Inc), who came in and just looked at the HVAC without even testing the thermostat, which I had a feeling was malfunctioning and said there was nothing wrong.

Yadz then filled billing on the same day July 1st. I called American Home Shield to get a second opinion however, they won't send another contractor until Yadz submits the diagnosis and indicated that they will follow up on Yadz since Yadz technically has 48 hours to submit it.

I ha e been trying to get my boiler fixed since late March. A contractor, United Air Temp could not repair my boiler and. I have contacted American Home Shield on several occasions and nothing has been done. I expect to at least receive the financial assistance to take and put towards my getting this fixed.

My complaint is simple. AHS uses substandard contractors who treat your customers as substandard clients. I have had an AC company dispatched that refused to get on my 2nd story standard house in LV. I have had 2 other appointments for the same issue canceled because it would of taken a week for the appointment.

The first place that I called in my own was there the next day and I payed out of pocket. A month later I had an issue with my refrigerator. This company requested a phone diagnostic. The technician gave a false diagnosis and requested a replacement of my 2 year old compressor.

I called the manufacturer and was told that it absolutely was not the compressor. Price gauging. Warranty fraud. 5 stars on Yelp and google. I have spent hours of unnecessary time on the phone with AHS…

Open a service request for microwave on May 2nd 2021. The repair company sneed appliances has been to my home 3 times to make repairs the latest being today at 1pm. They install the third component and my microwave isn't working.

I've been lied to by there managers for 6 weeks now about replacing the microwave, yet they still send repair guys to fix. They take my money monthly fathifully but my microwave hasn't worked since may 2nd. Terrible company.. stop your awful customer service.

I filed a claim on May 29, 2021 a technician came out five days later and determined my washer needed parts to repair it. From what I keep hearing from representatives of American home shield the parts can’t be found so according to the contract if the item cannot be fixed it will be replaced. As of today July 9, 2021 my washer still has not been fixed or replaced I just keep getting the runaround from the representatives someone will say they’ll call me back I never received a call back or an email as to the update status. Apparently Sears is the repair company American home shield uses and I am being told they won’t return any phone calls to the representatives because they need a status update on my washer which they should’ve already had.

For one month I have been trying to get help with an A/C repair or replacement. For one month I have been put off for so many reasons you can't imagine. The first day I filed a service notice I was on the phone for 10 hours with your company because they kept sending the service request to the same vendor, that did not service my type of A/C unit.

8 times the service request was made and the first 5 times it was sent to your vendor that does not service these a/cs. There are still 2 service requests open showing unable to contact vendor to work on unit. Of course !

There aren't any except one in this area, but they are not one of your vendors. So besides causing black marks against this vendor of yours, I still could not get anyone to understand that I needed to get authorization to hire…

First Service call was June 16 for our Kenmore fridge, tech came 3 days later and said the compressor needs to be replaced. AHS wanted a second opinion! 2nd co. Came out On June 21, who said it was the coolant parts THAT WERE STILL UNDER WARRANTY, so AHS should send Sears out because they are authorized service techs for Kenmore (which is a LG product and covered by Sears)...

I have called AHS 6 times since May 2021 to reach a supervisor who was promised would contact me back but never did regarding my contract with AHS.

One year ago, AHS sent a technician to repair my AC unit (which is located on the roof of my 3 story condo unit). They replaced the capacitor. In May of this year it needed repair again and the AHS technician this time said that the prior AHS technician installed a capacitor that was twice the size of what the AC unit needed. As a result, parts had been removed from the AC unit to install the capacitor. However, AHS is saying my coverage from the unit is invalidated because the parts were removed from the unit.

I put a work order in on May 21st to fix my Air conditioner. I have Lupus and my 12 year old son has a hard time breathing. I have waited for days for someone to come. They had to resubmit the order and get a new contractor after the first contractor never came.

They wrote the order over wrong and said we can only examine 1 unit, (order was for both) I had to wait 8 hours for them to comeback as AHS said sorry again and resubmitted it. After they finally came 7:30 pm after being in my home @9:30 am they put the order in on May 27th.

A/C problem diagnosed on June 22 and was told that part needs to be ordered. As of today, July 2, no word from AHS as to delivery or repair of A/C. The AHS reps r unable to help over the phone.

They can not talk to their own parts department. We r over 70 years old living in hot Alabama. No word from AHS. Terrible company. Avoid at all costs. They take your monthly fee, but leave you in the lurch when you need them.

I am needing to end my contract with AHS due to selling my house. I have called numerous times to get this done yet I am unable to. My husband is Military and is currently deployed. I have Power of Attorney and was told to send it via email so that the cancellation process could be complete.

The agent gave me an incorrect email address. I have spoken to 5 people now to try and get this figured out all of which are asking me the same questions and then putting me on hold for over 30mins+.

Now I am being told that they don't know why the first agent told me this. The call was recorded on June 30 2021 at 12:43 pm. This is totally unacceptable.

Called in for a service request for my Central AC not cooling. AHS sent out the ac contractor who proceeds to figure out that my compressor is bad on the outside unit so he proceeds to pull the entire disconnect box off side of my house, so

A/C broke- I’ve called 7 times to get a contractor out to fix it and nobody answers the phone. When they do, they tell me they’ll have a manager call me back and nobody calls me back. I had to find my own contractor because the one they provided were over a week out.

My contractor can fix the problem today, but AHS is now saying they want a 2nd opinion…. All the while my house is 90 degrees and I have a newborn baby. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have experienced in my life.

Your records erroneously reflect no open service requests. Since April 22nd, my toilet has been leaking due cracked flange according to plumber. The water seeping out since April is affecting bathroom floor molding. Who is responsible for that? I have contacted both companies many times to no avail.

I renewed our contract for 2021. The amount for the year is $875.85. So far I have paid $605.30 and it is only July. I am getting emails and calls that I and pass due to pay $291.95. If I paid that amount, I would have paid $897.33 which is over the yearly amount per the contract.

I called and it took multiple people to understand that I was asking to pay monthly. Then I still get phone calls and emails I am behind. Service has declined greatly with AHS and I have been a good customer for 15 years!

Filed a claim for air conditioner 4/19/2021 and it is still not working properly. Technician has came out multiple times and unit only works for one day. Customer service is horribly and insensitive m. I have 3 small children at home and I have a chronic medical condition and my house is over 90 degrees.

I first filed for a service request to fix our air conditioner on June 5, 2021. It has been 2 1/2 weeks since I first filed. It is 90 degrees and my husband has a heat intolerance medical issue. And our daughter is coming in 2 weeks from out of state. They have asked for another, YES, another second opinion. I am filing this complaint at this time. A day after my A/C handler was diagnosed, not once did American Home Shield contact me to give me any updates or status as to when the handler unit will arrive. One week later and I’m still without air conditioning.

I have called several times and it seems as though no one has any information. I was also transferred to the so called parts department but never got a response. I was told they would email me back. I am very disappointed.

I pay to monthly to have home shield and feel as though I’ve been ripped off! I also cannot pull my contract up on the website.

I filed a claim about my A/C went out.

First I would like to say. Me and my wife has had AHS since 2007 timeframe with our first home in Texas. Now we have it with our home since moving into in 2018. As you can see their is a lot of money invested and now results. But apologizes.

Since owning our second home, we have been dealing with the A/C here in VA.

First thing is that my first floor A/C went out. Then I had to wait a few weeks to get it fixed. Then my son contracted Covid last year and it went out again.

Finally after a month, it was best to get it replaced. So the issues was resolved. Now my second floor A/C went out week before last. I called AHS, they got a tech to come out. I was told what it needed.

Then, I had to call the technician for an update instead of the company…

American home shield was unable to complete repairs or replace a washing machine. They allowed a $100 credit towards service call. So far I have had three messages and one letter stating I owe $100 for the service call. Each time I contact them they say that it is already processed and I should not be charged.

I was told I would receive a call back within 30 minutes from a supervisor. That never happened.

I have been a customer with American Home Shield since October of 2018. I have paid my dues faithfully, even when my husband lost his job during the pandemic, we made a way to pay. Since July of 2020, we have been dealing with a broken Refrigerator, it was serviced but soon after it broke down again so another company came out to fix it, again, again & again. 13 times in total.

I have lost out on hundreds of dollars in groceries, not to mention hundreds of dollars in fast food because it seemed like it was breaking down every other week. Till this day - June 21, 2021, I still don’t have a working refrigerator.

I don’t understand how AHS, could be so heartless & unethical. I don’t know what to do anymore, should I cancel my contract & take the loss???

I would like to file a complaint. I paid for the AC Precheck. The tech was there maybe 10 min and gave me the all clear. I had to call and email for over a week to even get an appointment because pre checks are not a priority.

Horrible service. This company is as close to a scam as possible. There home page reviews are fake and their customer service is deplorable. They don't return emails, fail to return calls, amd lie about following up with you. and no one calls.

If I can save on person from signing on with this sham of a warranty company, then I've don't my job. I even thought about driving to the home company just to get my concerns addressed. Awful way to do business.

My washing machine has been broke since April 7th 2021. The part needed to fix it is on back order and there for it can't be fixed. I have called many many many many times to try and see if we can just replace it.

I was told it had to be on back order for 21 business days. It has been and the representatives keep telling me its going to be processed in 48 hours and I will hear back. I have been told this fucking lie at least 6 fucking times now.

On approximately 5/10/21 I requested service because my AC was not cooling. com) some complaints actually state that American Home Shield scheduled the services for other customers dating back to 2019. The technician from Air Design came and informed me that the unit was bad and needed to be replaced.

They would contact AHS and let me know what the outcome would be. 00 for the Freon. They installed the compressor on 5/31/21. The technician informed me that I would receive a copy of the warranty via email and it’s now 6/16/21 and have called Air Design and still haven’t received my warranty.
