Sent contractor Foxcroft hvac to check my AC outdoor unit. Took 1 week to arrive and spent less than 5 minutes looking at my AC unit to determined that it was dog urine damage . and left. Had another HVAC company look at unit ,turns out outdoor unit wasn't the issue.

The indoor coil leaked all the refrigerant out of the system. Foxcroft is giving fraudulent diagnoses to customers in behave of AHS so not to do repairs or replacement

I (Robert Decatur) submitted a request for AC repair at my home (1505 Noe-Bixby Road, Columbus OH 43232) at the end of April 2021, and my AC still hasn't been repaired. I was assigned to FrogPro Services who has informed me that that the motor was burned out and then later that the compresssor needed to be replaced.

In short, I have called both FrogPro and AHS, and FrogPro is telling me that they filed the report with AHS while AHS is saying that they still haven't received it. I've called seven times for updates, and I have encountered the same process - AHS agent calls FrogPro and then AHS promises me an update and never follows through.

The company decline to pay for repairs needed for my stove. A 2nd visit to repair my oven determined it needed a part. When the tech left he advised me had to order a part . I then get a call from AHS stating basically the oven was “abused” ! naturally??!

Contacted AHS on 5/4 to get A/C tuneup, 75.00 per unit, 150.00 total. Money was taken out of personal account on 5/6/2021 On 5/6 got email that Quick Connect a/c (the vendor) had the request and my appt was for 5/10 On 5/11 after no show from Quick Connect I called them and they said they did not have the correct paperwork from AHS and they would have to reschedule. I told Quick Connect to cancel and I called AHS and told them the service call was cancelled by me because the vendor did not show up, and I would like a refund. On 5/11/2021 Someone from AHS verified that the vendor did not come out, and said I would they would process the refund and I should get it in 7 to 10 days.

Call center is out sourced out of the country No phone numbers to corporate to complain about terrible customer service placed a service call in Nov of 2020, wasn’t fixed correctly, AHS want another service fee to send out contractor to fix same issue now in June! I have been trying to get my washer repaired since April 26th. The first comtractor couldnt meet AHS committment, the 2nd COURTNEY HOME SERVICES, showed up and said I needed a "comtrol board". He said je would order one and be back to replace it Despite several texts and calls from me amd AHS, he has never returned.

I have called AHS every other day for the last month without resolution. They keep callong the same contractor or keep telling they are escalating to there contractor evaluation Department. This has been done several times, with no results.

It seems every time I call, they have recollection of any of my previous calls. It seems I'm a cycle that I can't get out of

You guys are terrible! Worst customer service process I have ever seen! Managers are afraid to talk to customers or deal with escalations. Agents are left on their own to handle customer issues with a very precarious process. Terrible company.

In addition to not renewing the contract once it ends, I also don't recommend AHS to friends or family. In fact, I wouldn't even recommend it to enemies.

Also, when you give the option to rate your business with a stars via survey, I strongly recommend that you allow us to rate your company with ZERO star. One Star is too too many starts for this crap service.

Also, instead of just giving us the option to choose ONE reason of why we would give ZERO star, please add the option "all the above". The overall AHS experience is terrible punctuality,…

My Air Conditioner has been out since May 5th. My service contractor filed the paper work on May 7th. I have not gotten any help from service department when I call. I have called at least 6 times. I have been told that the repairs are approved but no one is telling my contractor when the parts will be available. This is ridiculous. Please help me!

The first contractor that was sent out to do our plumbing job for the shower came and fixed one thing, ended up ordering a part and then quitting on his company the same day. The company gave me a call and said they had to resend another plumber because the one that quit on the spot didn’t provide all the info that was needed for the job.

Fast forward one month and they send a plumber who is clueless about the job said he didn’t know what was wrong. That he had to order a part and turn of my shower completely. Two weeks pass by. No shower. No part. No word from anyone.

Plumber finally comes only to say he can’t fix anything. Attempted to put back my spout and handle and it looks like my 4 year old did it. When I attempt to call AHS and speak to a supervisor I am denied.

I have been waiting on a microwave repair since 12/2020 and it is now 6/8/2021. GE do not have the parts or cant get the parts to fix it .. every time I call AHS, I get the run around.

I am still waiting on phone call back from Supervisor or Authorization Team. Every time I call a new customer service rep indicates they are escalating my issue!!!!!! This is the worst service I have received. I have called several times since then, I have been waiting patiently and still no reveal.

Sent out a company to fix my dryer and the company filed saying my dryer was fine and now I have to pay another service fee to get another tech out! My water heater went out 4 days ago (mon). Initially I was told to wait up to 24 hrs to get a contractor out. Aft 24 they said they were still looking, and I would have to wait another day, as they were still waiting for call backs,, if no takers, then we could look at options.

Wed, I called, and was told they were still looking and I had to wait till Thur. I didn't call back till today (fri) and am still told I have to wait. I asked abt options as I was told by now that would happen, and was told no options avail at this time.

I told them we are seniors and need to have a water to use. No go. In addition I asked the rep to take me off speaker phone several times and he didn't, which added to my frustration. I kept getting an echo that made it hard to understand him.

We have used AHS in the past and have had a good experience, but this time is a nightmare. Our electric water heater broke so we called for service. The plumber came out and determined that the water heater needed to be replaced.

We were told it would be covered but to bring it up to code we would have to add an expansion tank and and electric (switch)? That would cost an additional 390 and AHS would cover 250 of that. We asked about upgrading the water heater to an on demand,which wouldn’t require an expansion tank or a hybrid.

Either of these would use considerably less electricity. We were told we would just have to pay the additional cost of the water heater or AHS would credit us the cost of the original heater and we could purshase the one we want an they would pick it up and put…

I have a major plumbing leak & no one at American Home Shield would be willing to escalate this repair. My service includes all plumbing, heating, AC & appliances. I keep getting the run around with no solutions. AHS claims that there are no plumbers to dispatch in my area which sounds ridiculous with such a large company that claims the opposite.

I spent numerous hours calling back & no one has been able to help me. When I ask to talk to someone in the USA, I get the "canned" answer that I can not be transferred. This company MUST improve their customer service or myself and many others will leave taking their business elsewhere.

American Home Shield sent notice about summer tune up. They sent Affordable 1 to complete pre-tune up the system and they provided horrible service. The unit was no longer working after they serviced it, they didn't respond to call after leaving 15 minutes later.

AHS was contacted everyday and service has still not been provided!

If it were possible to give this company a 0, I would. Customer service needs retraining. I'm not sure if they get paid by the word or by the hour. Either way, it is excruciating getting them to answer simple questions.

And when they do not know the answer to your questions, they will lie, rather than find out the actual answer. The hold times are extremely long, which may be the result of the reps' commitment to an unnecessary reiteration of obvious information.

AMS has what would appear to be a high rating, simply because there's little competition. I would not recommend this warranty company.

I called AHS on 05/20/2021, to have my central air conditioner repaired. I was set up with Climate Zone HVAC. I contacted them and made an appointment for Friday May 20th, and requested they call me when they were on the way to my home.

Well I missed them because I was not called as I was in my backyard making sure area around air condition was weed free. When I got their note I immediately called them; in fact, I called Climate Zone six (6) times that day.

I have called Climate Zone twelve (12) times since 05/20/2021. In meantime, I keep calling AHS, in fact twenty-five (25) times since 05/20/2021, with no resorts. I have requested four (4) for a supervisor to call me, one ever did.

It is now June 1st and getting ready to get very hot, I need some assistance now.

Worst warranty company ever had them at 3 other houses over the past 25 years and with each home service has gotten so bad that I am probably going to have to seek legal action to get my out of pocket monies back. I reported a problem with my Sewer Ejector Pump on 5/22. The plumber came and determined the pump is dead and needs to be replaced. American Home Shield has had my service request "under review" for four days. I cannot used my plumbing until the is repaired.

Sewage is coming up in my backyard. I have called and chatted online several times. The agent reads a script that says there is nothing they can do. There is nobody that can be contacted. I just have to wait.

I have been with this company for over 5 years and in the last 1 and a half we have had the worst customer and repair service. Just recently I called to get my washer serviced when originally the customer representative told me that my washer was still under the 60 day warranty since it had just been serviced before and they had to order parts for it to just break again.

She assured us that we didn't have to pay the consult fee and she would get someone out here to repair. 3 day went by and nothing. We called back just to speak to a new customer rep that proceeded to tell us that we did have to pay it was a circus just trying to get someone to honor their original word of not having to pay the fee because it was still under the 60 day warranty.

Good evening, I am an old customer with American Home Shield. My contract number is 333512047. 14 days ago my water heater broke and I placed a service call. As of today I still have no hot water and the unit is leaking and damaging my home. For the past four days I have been calling and getting nowhere. I am a seven year customer with AHS. They've always been great, until now. I made a service call about my dishwasher three months ago. The service company was responsive and told me that parts were not likely available for the dishwasher (the dishwasher is 21 years old). They said they would know for certain in a week or so.

A week later I called and was told that they had not found any parts but that I needed to wait 24 business days to make certain parts were not available (!!!). I waited six weeks and called and was told that parts were not available but the service company had to formally notify AHS and after that, I would receive a new dishwasher or a "buyout." I am now on my fifth call in the last month to AHS, and each time I'm told that I just need to wait another 24 to 48 hours…

I opened a service request on 4/28/21. Since my diagnosis on 4/30/20. I have received very minimal support from AHS with a contractor who is showing lack luster interest in resolving my problem. AHS has done very little to mange the contractor.

The contractor refuses to pick up my equipment from the manufacture depot although it was delivered over 1 week ago. The resolution of my problem after 3+ weeks remains unclear and AHS seems to have no control over the contractor completing his job and treating their customer with professionalism!

I have called AHS at least 10 times. And have been on the line for over 1 hr multiple times. I have been on hold for 30 minutes at least 5 times. It seems I was intentionally disconnected on multiple occasions!

Work order open March 15 to repair refrigerator and washer. Repair assigned to Erickssen Appliance. I have been a customer for more than 20 years and I have never had such poor service. I submitted a work order for my oven in January. The first technician was Sears. That repairman told me he couldn’t repair it.

It was then assigned to 911 Appliance repair, Robert Carrasco. He said he needed to order the parts. Several weeks later he stated that the parts are on back order. I have not heard from him seance February in spite of several call and texts to him and American Home Shield.

I’ve spoken to their customer service 3 times and even contact them on Facebook messenger. The company statement, “ sorry for your inconvenience, we are looking for an alternative for you”. I have been without my oven for over 5 months! This is ridiculous .

Hello, I paid a service fee of $125 for a leaking hot water heater The contractor sent someone that told me the hot water heater needed to be replaced, then he left without doing anything. 50 in repairs were needed and they were not covered by my AHS contract.

Also, they are going to replace my old 5500w hot water heater with a 4500w hot water heater. That is not the equivalent of my old unit. This needs to be corrected before I will authorize repairs.

Your tech cut my air conditioner off my roof in the heat and for 3 weeks has not called me or your company back. For 7 days your people keep telling me they will send it to an escalation manager and fix this.

My name is Bernard Scott. I requested service on 4/17 in regards to my washer being broken. The technician came out, diagnosed the problem and informed me that his company would contact me in about 2 days. Since that time I have not heard from the contractor that was sent to my home.

This company is a joke to work with and sellers of homes and realtors should not be allowed to use Home Warranty companies as an option when selling a home.

We purchased a home in 10/2020. When we were negotiating the sale of the house we knew the appliances and heating/air conditioner were 15 years old and would need to be replaced. The sellers wouldn't lower the cost of the house but offered a Home Warranty. It wasn't ideal but with the housing market the way it was we had no choice if we wanted the house.

To make a long story short of dealing with American Home Warranty, since November of last year, this company is horrible to deal with, they do not take anything seriously and just take your $75 freely without providing a service that is promised.

A/C which was just installed less than 3 years ago by a company AHS sent over, is not working. When I submitted for a work order, MekTek was the company assigned. When I heard nothing back I called and was told MekTek does not service my area.

Now I had to get AHS to open a new work order with another company. They assigned it to Family Air. When I spoke to the company they assigned me a date a week out from that time. So a week here in Florida with no a/c.

Purchased a home owners insurance policy for a home purchase in October of 2020 and have had several issues with items in our home that were advertised to be covered under the home owner insurance policy, after calling to make the service request American Home Shield proceeded to inform us that all the items fell into different categories and each one would require a $75 dollar service fee.

My contract #206976867. I recently needed a repair to my gas stove. The igniter had to be replaced. The contractor ordered the part through AHS and there was a significant delay from the AHS supplier. I was a month without a working oven. I think that where there is a delay like this the contractor should be authorized to obtain parts from another supplier. It is poor customer service to leave your customer stranded. I have requested a refund of the $80.62 service fee but was told that a refund was not possible because the service was initiated last month. The repair has been completed.

I have to have my A/C repaired. AHS has no problem doing that.

However the issue is the repairs require the unit to be drained of Freon. AHS only wants to cover $10 per pound of Freon. My A/C system is brand just installed at the end of May of 2020. At that time since it was a new system I had to pay out of pocket $640.

My issue is that it’s been less than year and draining the system is part of the repair AMS should cover more than $10 per pound of Freon

I haven't had a working hot water heater in 3 weeks. They provided Ao Smith, which has installed 2 new hot water heaters, 2 replacement burners ALL OF WHICH LEAKED CARBON MONOXIDE! I had to seek medical attention but AHS can't be bothered to get a refund and install a non lethal product in my house, so 3 weeks later I still don't have hot water.

It’s been almost a month trying to get my dryer fixed. I’ve had to hang dry my sick mothers clothes. A technician came replaced the parts, didn’t even turn it on to test it. We tried it after he left and it didn’t work.

We called to have a technician to come out again. It was scheduled for today and they cancelled past minute saying the guy is sick. Is there only one guy? Is there another company I can use? Now it’s rescheduled for Monday and the waiting hour window is from 8-5 I’ve had to pay someone all day to be at my house.

If I could I'd give customer service a 0. They are located in the Philippines and you can hardly understand them and they have no idea what's going on. I called to get service on my A/C and they are sending me a contractor that is 4HOURS away from where I live!

I've been trying to get them to send someone closer but they don't get it. Very frustrated

Customer pays monthly premium, customer pays, service fee, customer pays 90% of repairs n replacement costs. AHS makes ALOT money from their customers and is the only one benefiting from their services. This is just another scam. I am barely making it after covid loss and now this company has only made things worse. I am devistated.
