Service requested over 6 weeks ago for water heater repair, tech came out over 3 weeks ago, ordered new part, which came in 2 weeks ago, and now we keep getting run around waiting for approvals from plumber to AHS?? Called many times to complain but was hung up on several times before even talking with a supervisor or manager.

Frustrating to say the least and without hot water for almost two months now! We want action!!

I have to say that after over 25 years with American Home Shield I am disappointed and I will look for another company soon. I had requested a service for my AC on August 25th, it is still NOT fixed at this moment.

Simply because AHS has to do bulk purchase for the part I need, a compressor. I called the company during the second week to check on the statute of my service request, it irritated me very much because the call was routed to a out source company which is outside the States.

The woman answered my call was with heavy accent and lack of knowledge. To be honest, I don't know how much longer I have to wait in hot summer days. I am just si regret that I‘ve been so royal ti this company and referred many of my friends to AHS.

I called for service and they called a plumber for me. I called back to American home shield and told them I couldn't wait that long. I needed to use my sink. So I canceled d my order. 00 and installed myself in less than a half a hour.

The brand name of garbage disposal was Barracuda half horse disposal. Thank You.

Called to ask questions about what's covered and was told never to pay tech anything because I was covered. Still called again was told again I was covered. Now after complaining I find out that the information I received was wrong.

So mad to think I pay good money and what for . They get here customer has to trust your employees are giving truthful information and that was not the case.

Do not use them. They outsource to the Phillipines. Their is a language barrier, and no one is able to step in as a manger with decision making capabilities. They refuse to offer any United States phone number and NO way to reach the corporate office to discuss complaints.

We called reporting Air Conditioning problems in one of our two units. We paid fee and Hospitality Heating and Air came to the house and identified a drain pan issue. As they were fixing it, the basement flooded, causing damage to some of our belongings.

They said the drain pipe was clogged and we needed a plumber. They did help clean up the water. We contacted AHS and put in an order for a plumber (paying another fee). Immediately after AC guy left, we realized the OTHER AC unit wasn't cooling (he had checked both).

We contacted Hospitality Heating and AC. They replied that it's probably a separate issue, and we need to request ANOTHER work order. So we've already paid $150 for two work orders. Now we have to pay another $75, for a problem that DIDN'T EXIST before he came to our house?…

I had a water heater that was pouring water on my floor,leaking everywhere. Called AHS. They told me it would be a priority call if someone didn’t call me back in 1 hr. It would be first thing in mourning.

I called home shield , they agreed yes it had been a priority and would call the company & find out why they hadn’t been out. Allen stated he’d get another Co as soon as possible. Then requested to speak to a supervisor.

I wanted to c/o and report the mishap of no one showing up for my urgent first call. I request to speak to a supervisor please? He kept asking why I solved your problem. I explained why it had nothing to do with him, but I wanted to file a complaint Re: my first call.

This is scariest company . They work with the worst contractors. I had a leak from my 2nd floor and I filed a claim and the plumber came out and told me that I need to have a drywall removed .

And call us after u do that . So I hired a guy yo remove the walls and tried calling them and they dont answer . So I kept on trying since last 3 months still no luck. I also called the American home shield and they kept on telling me they will be there tommarow but tommarow never comes?

So stupid they work with crappy companies.. I paid my deductible and still paying monthly and cant my work done. Wow dont buy this is a RIP off and u will loose money..

After 2 years of payments and fees, 4 service calls my AC is off. It's 3 digit temperatures in Arizona and the air is off again. Now being told it's missing parts and can't be fixed or replaced. Never said that 2 years ago.

I feel taken advantage of if you knew that from the first repair. I'd like all my money back so I can fix my ac unit, that you took money for and never repaired. If it was missing parts, why didn't the repair man order them.

This has been an ongoing situation with this company. I have been paying monthly for this service as well as paying my deductible when service is rendered . Yet have I had anything repaired in my home . Who is being sent out comes out for 2 minutes with bad attitudes and unclear English.

They speak very disrespectful and are argumentative when asked any questions. I would also like to address my conversation with a service manager named Del who stated to me about an incident that has occurred with your company last year and I would like to further have this addressed .

Agreement Number 2015344242 History should show heater problem approx Aug 9th. 00 to replace due to line and code issues.

Second company Hers and His verified new leak that Home Choice said was in the yard was under water heater under home. Hers and Hers repaired issues and replaced valve removed by Home Choice. Complaint could be resolved $75-Second service call.

00 to repair a leak under the floor which was not there before a new water heater, refused service. 00 to replace the original shout off valve, which one Company thinks is ok to remove and another says is not up to code.

4 companies hv come out to repair clothes washer with no success. I hv appliance replacement with my policy. we never get a receipt, the submission by the repairman to amer home shield is not what we were told as they left.

I have had a policy with AHS for the better part of the last 20 years and until about 2017/18. I would tell anybody who would listen how great the service was and what a bargain the cost was. I was your biggest advocate.

about a month ago my cooling system for 13808 herons landing way, #8, jacksonville florida 32224 stopped cooling. I called in a service request and your company assigned the work to beaches heating and air. they came out and supposedly fixed the problem.

Every time I call in to get a repair I speak to someone named Mabel and I can barely understand her because her English is awful. Plus when I had someone come out from R and M Electric to repair two items they were not done until they got approval from the warranty company.

It took 2 weeks to get approval for something that looked fairly simple but I am not an electrician. Please get someone else that speaks English when I call in to request a repair because if I get the same person again I will hang up on her and I will cancel this plan.

This is getting tedious and I don't like not understanding whom I speaking too. Get this taken care of immediately.

I contacted American Home Shield Office over a month ago (August 2019) to inform them that I had an inoperable appliance in my home (Refrigerator). They referred me to a third party contractor, who in turn sent out a Rep on two separate occasion to fix the Refrigerator; both times, they were unsuccessful.

We have contacted American five times a out repairs for our LG refrigerator freezer & they have sent out repairmen who have not been able to fix the issue. BRAGG'S appliance company has said the fridge cannot be repaired. The last repairman was from Peterson's Appliance also said they could not repair the fridge & called American Home Shield while they were in our home to let them know they could not repair the fridge.

Frustration galore!! Water heater went up 8 days ago (8/26/19). Called AHS, they gave us a vendor that couldn't inspect until 8/30/19. We called and received another vendor who could come out on 8/27/19. We received call from AHS on 8/28/19 stating heater would be replaced.

But because we didn't have additional riders on our policy AHS would only cover the cost of heater (which they wouldn't disclosed) and removal and disposal. The other 8 items to meet code and make modifications totaled $800+ through vendor. that's all.

We have a LG refrigerator freezer that is less than four years old that we bought in 2015 that we are having trouble with. We have contacted American Home Shield five times for repairmen within five months. Each time the complete refrigerator stops working complete.

Each time the repairmen fix the fridge it stops completely between 30 to forty days. We have lost food each time the fridge stops. Each repairman that has worked on the fridge has had little success with repairs and a couple companies that claimed to fix the problem has gone out of business.

Absolutely the worst customer service. Can’t understand customer service associates. English is not there first language. Couldn’t get a AC tech out due to tech hired by AHS no longer will do work for them. Called tech and he said he had already notified AHS and they still sent him jobs that he was not responding to.

Finally a week later they assigned another tech after multiple calls. This tech came from HOUSTON 2hrs and they quoted a very inflated price 100% to do the condenser replacement job and a another week to get it repaired. I called a local company and had a second estimate it was half the price and repaired same day but AHS won’t even cover any of the service. Crazy..

#117769802 opened 8/23,placed as urgent Kns diagnosed 8/27,8/30 still waiting for auth water heater full of water & leaking. 8/30 was told ahs called kns 8/27 they didn’t call back, 28 & 29 ahs did not try to reach them.

Water in insulation sitting on electrical element and still not fixed a week later. FURIOUS it takes over a week to get this fixed. AHS does not care about getting a company to do the job fast and it takes way too long to get authorization.

I have been without A/C for six weeks. First contractor came out and put 2lbs of freon in stating that solved the problem. Same evening the problem zone stopped. Came out three days later said he couldn't fix it.2nd contractor came out on July 28th. Said it was compressor. Sent a 2nd technician out who said it was pump.waited a weekend, pump installed no change. The technician left without saying anything to me as resolution of the problem. Called AHS and owner of company dispatched to repair A/C. He has been out twice. He diagnosed the problem a a bad switch and air in the line. (GEOTHERMAL.) Told by owner he would install part when received.waited 10 days. Owner came, installed part said he couldn't purge system, hedidn't have coupling and wouldn't buy it for one job.

Have now been without a working oven for over a month... Daily phone calls to AHS always end with the same result "we have passed the information on and will call you back"... Still waiting to hear!!! Have asked to speak with a supervisor and also have asked to speak with someone in the USA to no avail...

AHS has a super sales staff which appears to be USA based but all other calls are routed to an off-shore call center... All communications with the call center have been handled very politely by their staff but unfortunately it's all talk and no action...

The compressor to the air conditioner went out on the 18th of August . I called an reported it right away to America shield . Appointment was given for Monday August 19th. Followed by a text from shield . After the service guy came out an diagnose the probably , he said they don't have the part.

My microwave has been broken since June one of the company AJS you used came diagnosed the problem. Since you were cheap and would not replace the entire door he can\me and completely brok it and also dented the door.

Not only could he not fix it and made it worse. He is nasty and ag\rgumentative. He has made many appointment he has not kept nor does he call. Each month I have paid the expensive premium it use still broken.

I have called at least 3 times a week speaking to people that do not understand English very well. I have had no satisfaction since your company has not given me the courtesy of a return call. Refund my premium and replace my microwave since I will not wait any longer.

I have had 2 separate accounts continuously for over 12 years. My complaint is with American Home Shield internal customer service. I have had a very difficult time speaking with customer service on the phone. After a very long hold time, I the rep could not address my issue (i'm not sure they understood it).

My complaint is sending out companies who cannot/will not provide the codes that they claim aren't met which in turn causes a need for upgraded equipment. This of course puts money in the contractors pockets and takes from the consumer.

This warranty was a part of a real estate transaction. My plan coverage included appliances and systems. I later learned my ductwork under the house in the crawlspace was broken. My contract states broken ductwork is covered for repair or replacement.

I submitted a request and paid the service fee. Based on the technician's notes, American Home Shield decided not to repair my ductwork and denied the request. " I am not please with American Home Shield Warranty. From my understanding of th contract I have and information packet, my ductwork should be eligible for repairs or replacement.

It has been since July when I requested service on my dishwasher. Their website says that it has been fixed but it has not been fixed. I have been told three times that they are waiting for parts. Now they say that it will be August 29 before it is fixed. I cannot believe that it has taken this long!

Can I cancel this service and get my money back. I can buy a new dishwasher for the price of the service contract.

The mere Fact that total air care was sent to my home about three times now to fix my AC and actually messed it up then Southern HVAC was sent and they said my system was messed up by total air care should say that I wouldn't have to pay to have it fixed.

I pay monthly and 100 dollar deductible. There is no way I should have to pay for a company they contracted mess up. I've called numerous times to home shield to have this resolved but the individual doesnt understand what we are telling them.
